Just purchased my vehicle from here with Tim Martin. Everything went very smooth and I got a smoking deal on a 2014 Elantra. Very pleased with the service and negotiations.
Let me say that we dealt with Chris and he seemed to be a good guy and overall I thought we walked out of there thinking that they were pretty honest with us. As my wife and I drove away I began to wonder how honest they are.
We go in thinking that we can get our daughter a new Rio (very base model - not even power windows as Chris informs us that is the car we need to take to get their special). The special that we saw on the internet and heard the advertisement over the radio is that you can buy an Optima, Sorento or Sedona and get a Soul, Forte or Rio for $20. We go in to get a base Optima which the internet price had 22,500 but even without the $500 incentive would be 23,000. Which according to their website would be around $400 a month (not even including any money down).
Long story made short - Chris comes back with a $575 a month payment!! I mean really - he informs us that we would not get a lower payment - that is quite the jump so we walked out because our budget was tight at $400.
My guess of why they would not work with us was that my wife started really low at what we would spend a month to see if they would work with us!! They knew they were not going to jack the price up on us which after reading a few of these reviews I guess that is what they do. Also it says on the web site that the lease for the Rio would have been 39 months and Chris said we were mistaken - it was 36 months. Just a little thing but what they advertise and what they offer are two different things.
Anyway, not a good experience!! Good luck to all of you that may get a good deal over there but we won't be going over there to purchase a car. Unfortunately we are still looking for a great deal but we just know it won't be at an Edwards Group Dealership!
This place doesn't even deserve one star! We all expect to have somewhat of an unpleasant experience for one reason or another when we visit a car dealership, and I deplore the idea of dealing with those guys even more than most people, but even I wasn't prepared for this. To make this short, I'll describe just one of the things that took place, and not even the worst one... The vehicle had been given new front tires during it's "certified" used vehicle inspection which took place during the sales process since it had just come in on trade when we started looking there but the dealership did not put back on matching tires. When I inquired about them replacing the other two in order for the vehicle to have a matching set, I was told no. When I asked if a vehicle with a mismatched set of tires actually qualified under Kia's certified used vehicle program (which it does not, as item 141 of their 164 point inspections is that the vehicle had a matching set) the 'threat' I received in response to my question was "I don't know... but that's fine, I just won't certify the vehicle and then you don't get the extended warranty coverage included" and this was the sales manager who came in because the sales guy and I were not seeing eye to eye already. I asked them to replace two additional tires which couldn't have cost them more than $100 considering I have researched/purchased a lot of value brand tires in my life and I've never even heard of these... on a $18k deal and was basically told to go F *#k Myself. So not only is this dealership willing to break whatever rules they have to in order to increase the apparent value of a vehicle, but they are also willing to be complete a**holes in the process.
Where to begin, I bought 2 vehicles from the former Rhoden facility. Wonderful experience from them. I referred a friend to the now Edward's Used car sales and was told I would recieve 100 dollars for reference. It's been 4 months and repeated calls with "Ok We will check on it." Nothing's happening. The car my friend purchased broke down 4 times b4 the first payment. Of course nothing was under warranty. After nearly 3I in repairs she had to finally say I've had enough and need a car I can depend on. They did help her get into a new vehicle but the payments are crazy high and they wouldn't work with her with them. She had no other choice in the payments because he said, "Sorry we cant do that cause you have nothing down. Which she already put her fully paid off vehicle in on the lemon that was sold to her. The salesman was very pleasant and very polite . The salesman wasnt the issue at this place. Please use your warnings with this place. We had a horrible experience and they lie about the reference money. Unhappy with them!
Went there last friday to Get my oil change in my toy they put wrong weight oil. In my car them they said i needed 4000 dollors of work wish i didn't needs i bought 2 new tires they said they. WILL be in sat never show up i been trying for 2 days to get my money back all i get is the run. So stay away i loss 210 dollors from the tires never go there they will lie tp you stay away
Thank you for helping me find the perfect car for me and in my price range. I love my Honda CRV. My sales person and all the people there were polite and quick. Loved it.
I enjoyed the experience working with Edwards Auto everyone was great and I began my process with Tim and Michaela took over for him, she was an awesome person to work with and really listened. I love my 2017 Chevy Cruze. I do have one thing that is a big factor and the reason why the 3.5 stars. Seems like after the sale is over I don't matter anymore. I was shopping in October and when I first began looking I specifically told them over the phone that I DID NOT WANT to have a new payment and taxes and plates all due at Christmas. Not a problem he said over the phone. " We can make sure that your first payment is due in January." Well after the sale was completed I got payment book with first payment due when....DECEMBER 14TH. I am NOT happy. I spoke to the finance dept. today and was told basically "so sorry that is only for top of the line credit" and nothing he could do to defer payment til January. Exactly why I did not want to get a vehicle at that time but I did based on the word of their employee. Kind of a bait and lure tactic as I see it.
As good of an experience as car buying can be. I felt that Tim Martin understood what I was looking for and then delivered it. I didn't feel like it was a hard sales pitch, just plane this is what we have that matches your needs. Thanks Tim, I like my little truck.
My husband and I recently purchased a new Tuscon and we couldn't be more happy with our experience at Edwards. Zach Hendersen was great helping us make the final decision. We were were a little hesitant but thanks to Zach's patience and understanding and great knowledge of the vehicle we were interested in we got exactly what we wanted. It was a very nice experience and we will for sure send our friends Zach's way!
Had a blast with the staff at Edwards to purchase my new vehicle. I got 5 star service and had the best experience negotiating and purchasing a car. I m a roadster aficionado and Edwards helped me pick the vehicle that would suit my needs and my personal car collection at home. Julio was my sales rep and he did not disappoint. The sales manager and GM where both true gentlemen and assisted me as well. The finance folks were outstanding as well. Kudos to everyone and I hope to see you all again. Thank you for everything. To those seeking a new car and a great experience, leave the Omaha dealerships to others and go to Edwards in Iowa. They are worth the drive.
I was considering a Hyundai; I did some online research & gave Edwards Auto a ph call & the sales consultant, Karen Driscoll, was the greatest. She took the time to find the right vehicle for me, make, interior & exterior. I drove home with a 2012 Hyundai Tucsan SUV equipted with everything for my needs & greater gas mileage than I anticipated. I have already taken it on vacation & loaded up a couple grandkids!!! Karen has also followed up, not as a 'pest', but genuinely wanting to make sure of my satisfaction. Ask for Karen when you are considering your next purshase/trade in. It is a WIN/WIN experience!
mr.& mrs.Williams. we would like to say frist of all Thank u Mr.Terrell Taylor, for being there and being so understanding, because we are older people.but he came out with a smile and good morning (and said may I help help you)and I told my husband this guy is going to sale us a car.we told him what we were looking for and he got right on it,we took the car out for a test drive, and he was telling us about what the car was all about and the good rebate deal it had.the young man told us everything we wanted to hear. and we purchased the car.( way to go; Mr.Taylor you keep up good work and you will sale a lot of cars.so if anyone is looking to buy a car just go to Edwards Hyundai auto group. and look him up cause he will hook u up.thanks.
I worked with Jermaine and he really went the distance in attempting to secure my purchase. I feel he was put in a no win situation when the vehicle I had come to look at appeared to have never even been cleaned by their detail crew. It was in rough condition (aesthetically) and showed me that the owner did not take very good care of the vehicle. This proved to keep me from wanting to buy it but I am hopeful that Jermaine is able to find another on the lot so I can take my business there. Very relaxed and will answer questions even if the answer isn't what I want or what he wants.
On May 16th 2020, I purchased a used vehicle, 2015 Mitsubishi Ralliart. I drove from Denver, Colorado to purchase this vehicle. After signing everything, 40 miles out on my way home, the transmission overheated. The vehicle had to be towed to another Edwards Mitsu lot to be diagnosed, but this was saturday evening and nobody would be in until monday. There was an offer to put me into a hotel for the remainder of the weekend, but I had to decline as, like most people, I had a job I had to return to. They stated to rent a vehicle to get home and they would reimburse me. I paid $560 for a uhaul truck to take one way back to Denver. Also had to rent another vehicle for an additional TWO WEEKS before the vehicle I had purchased was delivered, costing another $800. Now granted, I do appreciate that I was not charged for delivery. I had emailed my receipts for both rentals to my POC, Daniel Bowlds on July 3. Here we are over a month later, I have not received any word back or any reimbursements. Also, I was informed by Daniel and another member of the staff that a new engine and transmission had been installed in the vehicle. Multiple requests to provide maintenance records and proof of this repair have fallen to deaf ears. Under Iowa Code section 321.69, requires the seller of a used car that is less than eight years old to disclose in writing the extent of any damage to the vehicle incurred while in their ownership for which the repair costs were more than half of the pre-damage retail value. A new engine runs about 10k, transmission is 15k. parts and labor for install, about 25k on the high end. So either this information about the replacement is false and nothing was done or it was done and nobody wants to disclose, either way this is fraudulent practices. Furthermore, during the sale, Colorado tax wasn't accounted for so now my license plates are costing me $1300!!
Worst customer service I've ever encountered. I bought a car from this dealership and the front bumper paint started chipping and they won't repair it properly or even at all. They "fixed" the paint twice and it continued to chip because it wasn't primed correctly. No one has any real solutions for all the trouble I've went through. Every time I try to get the situation at hand remedied, they try to sell me another car. I just want the one I bought fixed! How many millions of dollars they deal with and they can't even fix what was done improperly in the first place. Not to mention The customer service has been beyond horrible. I'm so fed up with having to take time out of my busy schedule because my car continually has issues and they can't even Help me out.
WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!!!!! Ran my credit and quoted me all these prices for a car payment. After they finally got the car in weeks later, I came in to fill out paperwork and they took my money right away. After filling out paperwork for over 4 hours at the last minute they informed me my car payment prices wouldn't be what they quoted me because they had to add some $5,000 fee on top of everything for themselves. I should have just shredded the paperwork and walk out then, but that's what they do..keep you there for 5 hours and wear you down so you just put up with their B.S. So when I bought my "new car" the bumper was not aligned. You could just look at the front of the hood and see the giant gap next to the hood and bumper. They assured me they would take care of it and I got an appointment scheduled to adjust the bumper. I get the car back and not one bit of difference could be seen. The guy asked if I would be ok with that and we told him we would discuss it and get back to him. So round two! I re-schedule my car to go back in the shop which is a complete waste of my time and gas because I live over 20 minutes away from the dealership. I don't get a call that my car is done. I had to call them. Then I show up to pick up my car and see a chip right on front of the front bumper and the vent in the hood is cracked. I walk in the dealer ship to confront someone about it and then was told before I could even have the keys to my car I had to sign some paperwork that they did the car. This is the second attempt to get this done so now 2 marks against my warranty because the dealership is too incompetent to do it right the first time. So I sign their paper work and then the technician comes over and tells me the fresh paint chip (you can still see the paint all pushed up against the chip like it literally just happened) was there before he touched it and then admits to me he had never seen the crack in the vent. Then the manager comes over and tells me he doesn't understand how the vent broke even though it was not noticed by anyone when it was dropped off. Then they continued to insinuate I was a liar! I then get in my car to drive away and notice there are 8 miles added to the speedometer and my A/C was on when I dropped off the car with the heat on in the morning. Hhhmmmm...but no one can understand how anything happened to my car. I would NEVER buy a car from these people let alone let them EVER touch your car for a repair. STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of SCAMMERS!!!!!!
Service group is the best! Didn't have the best purchasing experience and from what I am told that is not unusual. Service department makes up for it, almost.
We are pleased with our recent experience at Edwards Hyundai and with the courteous and professional work of the staff there, especially salesman Chuck Weaver. This is our second new Sonata purchased from Edwards Auto and, when the time comes, we will come back and ask again for Chuck's help.
Edwards Chevy Cadillac has the most amazing salesperson...Randy Kahl!!! Buying a vehicle here was such a seamless and painless experience and the deals can't be beat. There are so many wonderful things I can say about my experience but the most important thing for all to know is, let Randy assist you in with your buying experience! He works hard, is completely honest, and has a tremendous amount of compassion and integrity. I walked away with the exact car I wanted and have no regrets- it's a beautiful auto and I love getting behind the wheel everyday! I am grateful for my experience and I highly recommend this dealer and Randy! Special thanks to John in Finance for helping me get an incredible interest rate and making the paper process so easy! Not only did I get a new car but feel I made some new friends! Thank you Edwards and thank you Randy!
I purchased a 2012 Outback on December 26th and I am very pleased with the car and the salesman. Zach Henderson was the salesman and he was very helpful during and after the sale. I would recommend him to family and friends.
Jeff was our dealer today and he was very honest and made sure that we left happy. If you go to this dealership ask for Jeff! Got us a great deal and a very nice guy.
I had the most amazing experience with Edward s auto. I bought a 2019 Chevy Trax from here. They have such an amazing team and they made my car buying experience effortless. I worked closely with Bryce Coes who is an absolute gem. He was so friendly, helpful, and personable. He was very honest and he took the time to go over my options with me and listened to my concerns during the process. Bryce made sure to address any questions or concerns I had with honesty and integrity. This is not your average car lot. They truly go above and beyond. The finance team is amazing as well. I worked with Mike & John and they helped to make sure I wasn t getting charged an outrageous APR or high monthly payment. I will ALWAYS come back to Edward s Auto for any future cars that I need. They really make you feel like family and that s something you can t buy. Thank you guys so much for the experience.
This is a better dealership. Not happy that when we bought a car they ran our credit way more than told or authorized. It was like 15 credit in-curries that we were not expecting. When confronted the salesman he said no just ran one but it isn't that on my credit. Be aware and make sure you know before you buy. They have a great service department though.
Never buy from or repair a vehicle there. Gave my son one quote, which he called me with, and three days later charged him more than double that quote and called him a liar. Lost my business.
Not recommended for buying certified used Nissan's from here. So I would think you shouldn't buy normal used Nissan's from here. Bought a certified used nissan with no reported accidents. When tearing the car down to diagnose a slightly misaligned bumper, found the foam insert was missing. Also found many of the supporting brackets were bent. Dealership insisted that none of this was seen during their inspection process.
Jody Biodrowski showed my wife and I many different autos during our visit. We chose a vehicle that fit our needs after we explained what we were interested in. His knowledge of the different cars was a big help. He got us through purchase and set up the return for the visit in the service department.
First, my car buying experience was great. Rich Roberts at the Chevy dealership is a great guy first, then a salesman. I bought a used car that needed a spot on the bumper painted and they included that in my deal. The finance department was pleasant and up front. Then, a check engine light came on, and I felt a sickening feeling because I thought of the term AS IS. I called Rich because I had not heard about the bumper repair, and I mentioned the light. He said let me talk to my manager and we will get back with you. The next day, the service department called me to set up a time to bring the car in. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me a loaner car and told me that the work was "we owe". In other words, I did not have to pay for the check engine problem, whatever it may be. Thankfully, it was an O2 sensor, that they replaced. The paint job on the bumper is superb , and my car was washed and clean when I picked it up. Thank you Edwards, and thank you Rich!
Very dissatisfied with the sales team. We ended up with a faulty engine and the turbo blew out right after the warranty expired, leaving us to completely rebuild the engine. The sales team continues to call, idiotically asking how the car is and how our experience was; completely forgetting that we almost took them to court. They even leave voicemail messages that they have an "urgent message" only to ask us the same stupid questions again. Untrustworthy team, shady sales process, faulty car, and apparently incapable of making a simple note in their system.
I would like to begin by stating how satisfied I was with our salesperson Tyree Smith. I explained him what are we looking and what is our budget, and he worked with us more than two weeks to make everything we requested happen.
He was very friendly in communication; he didn't pressure us to buy and when we decided that the offer he made was exactly what we were looking for, we closed the deal. Even more, we traded in a car, and the price we got was more than we could hope.
I highly recommend anyone to visit Edwards if you are searching for a Hyundai and ask for Tyree Smith.
I would not have even rated this group with one star, but could not submit without a rating. My experience was very disappointing. My salesperson tried to assist, but could not meet my expectations by constantly stating this could not be done. Kept directing me to older vehicles. I felt like I was on the used car commercial where the salesman slides over the hood of the car and the other salesman states he uses his pearly white smile to persuade customers to buy what they want to get rid of. Went to another Edwards dealership and was well greeted and satisfied. I will never recommend Edwards Subaru Hyundai to anyone I know.
sold me a car with the front and back frame bent and promised me the title was not salvage but obviously it is with both frames bent very sad on their part. I was a happy customer until my Mechanic gave me the bad news
Tim martin made my first car buying experience a great one. he was honest about how the bargain center cars weren't checked by mechanics and while i ended up buying a car that was more expensive than i originally intended to spend he got it to a point where i could afford a very nice car
Brought our vehicle in for work already diagnosed by another dealership. Work took 3 days and then told there was another problem (which was the root cause). That part would be a 3 day wait. Called on the third day, Tracking shows it is delayed a couple days. Called two days later, The truck got delayed by weather. It will be two more days. Called back, The part is still on back order, we ll have it in another week. How do you have tracking or delayed trucks if the part never shipped??? Explained that I was trying to trade it in THAT night and had a cash offer for $10k. Said I would sell it to them for $10k minus cost of repairs. The General Manager angrily replied, You re not going to tell me what I m going to buy it for! Hello dummy, that s exactly what you do to people all day every day. He the proceeded to treat me like an uneducated child and offered $6k. I will never recommend this auto group to anyone nor give them any business. I ll go buy my TWO vehicles for another dealer.
Stay away from these high pressure crooks! They attack like vultures. The car i wanted to look at wasn't there after talking to them for a couple days. They tried their best to get me into a car for twice the money NO WAY i could afford the insurance for it let alone the payments !
Our sales associate was Kyle Smith he was great and very helpful. The team of Edwards was also very helpful. They listened to what we wanted and needed. The greatest experience car shopping we have had as a first time buyer. Kyle Smith gave us the attention that a first time buyer is looking for he also understood our needs and financial situation very pleasurable. They were very down to earth and unique and helping is there biggest priority.
Excellent experience! Everything from viewing and test driving cars to purchasing one was wonderful. Zach Henderson was a great salesperson and I would recommend him for anyone looking for a car here!
I came in, looking for a used Toyota or Hyundai. Joshua Squibb provided great customer service. He was friendly and courteous, without pressure. He guided me to a comparable car with more features that I didn't know I could get in my price range, He worked hard to get me a good price and to make me a happy customer. Nice job!
We had a good experience at this dealership. Our salespersons, Kurt and Nathan, worked well together. They were attentive but not pushy. The other staff that was there was pleasant and friendly. It is a high probability that when another member of the family needs a car, that we will return to this dealership(Kurt and Nathan)
Very unprofessional, as well as unfair, unsatisfactory business! Warning: Take your business elsewhere! Well worth it! Don t know how these people sleep at night, knowing they literally screw people over as well as their families!!
I bought my first motorcycle here. The sales experience was great, honestly. Dan Ostdiek was friendly, not pushy, and just a fun guy. Unfortunately that's where the good ended. The initial bike I went in for looked fantastic on their site, but when i went to check it out in person, it wasn't the same bike. It was a busted jalopy. I know, that should have been a sign, right? The one I did pick up had a rusted through exhaust, and missing 02 sensor, which I had seen, and was ok with as I am replacing the pipes. They still charged $1,000 more than others selling the same bike with no problems (Even after taking 300 off so the financing would go through faster...). I then discovered a piece of the frame was missing, and called the shop to have it repaired. The manager, L.J. Cruz, argued with me stating it had been ridden for miles by their general manager, even though I was told it had come in just the week before. I sent pictures, he said it wasn't the frame. Well, I ended up getting the new part, and wouldn't you know it, the frame was cut by the previous owner. Reading other reviews, this isn't the first time this type of thing happened, so i should have done more research, but I'll leave it that due to the customer service and pricing, I won't be back, and recommend others avoid this place.
Jared Foote was our sales help and he was amazing! We were not able to get into a new car so he personally drove us to the used lot and introduced us to the other guys!
Had high hopes when I went here. Have purchased fro. Edwards in the past. Saw a truck, drove to go there. The manager barely even wanted to talk to me. Went to another competitor. bought same truck with 60k less miles for less than Edwrds wanted for theirs. Good luck selling your truck. I know I will not be back. I get newer vehicle every year. This place doesnt like money I guess.
Josh Squibb did an amazing job getting us into the car we wanted. He and his associates gave 110% to make sure we were comfortable with our purchase. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new/used car.
Tim Martin was great. Very Friendly and knowledgeable. He helped us make a deal that suited our family and our price range. We bought our last car a Edwards and glad we came back. We would recommend anyone to purchase their car from Edwards.
Horrible. I was a first time car buyer and they took complete advantage. When I got there the car that was marked at 12500 they said was an error and it was really 15200. There only question was how much can you afford a month, to which then they set me up with a 6 year plan. When I came in to talk to their accountant he was trying to get me to buy insurance from them that would up the payments by 75 dollars a MONTH. I did not way and he told me that I wouldn't be able to get alone unless I bought the insurance. Finally we got it down to about 40 bucks more a month. His reasons for why it was a good deal was because I got 5 free keys. I am yet to loose and of the first 2 keys they gave me and it's been 3 years. He also said I get free oil changes which I have to drive to Iowa for. On my 2nd oil change the guy told me I had a hole in the tire and he had to charge me to patch it.... didn't have a hole before I got their. They are simply ordinary car salesman trying to take advantage or people anyway they can. I just listed several reasons you should not go their.
Nothing but positive experiences with the Edward's Auto group. I purchased a mint condition white Ford Broncho last week and I was thrilled with my salesman.
Unfortunately my husband wasn't so pleased with the vehicle and stabbed me in my kitchen then took off with it.
I really wanted to do a deal here. I came on the lot to buy a car and do a trade in. I was able to test drive. My credit is a non issue but they only wanted to do a trade in with one vehicle they had. Not one I was interested in. Seeing the deal with what I came in there for wasn't going to happen I asked for a newer vehicle on their lot as it was a good alternative, again they insisted on this one vehicle. I asked to see it, it wasn't on the lot, it wasn't able to be seen, it wasn't able to be test driven and it wasn't ready to go. So you want me to trade in for a vehicle, which I can not even see? No thank you. I left and purchased another car from another dealership the following day.
As for the brand, I would absolutely recommend Mitsubishi. All of their cars I've owned have lasted over 150k miles without problem. I was in one of the small Mitsubishi Mirages, same gas mileage as a Prius and got into a T bone with a 4 runner, I walked out of it. Car was totaled but I was fine.
My son and I rolled around town for quite a while to find a decent used car that wasn't over the hill. We were steered toward a fine low mile Buick by Zachary Henderson, one of your salesmen. Zach cleared the road for me and Brian and made the trip to ownership pretty smooth. My hubcap is off to you for helping to make our purchase such a good trip. John Hanzlik
Overall experience was very good. Purchased a brand new Hyundai Elantra and matched online internet pricing. They were able to reduce price as posted online. Was able to talk down the trade in price for my car but the salesman used the "Have to talk to my manager" technique to get it lower. After about an hour was able to get closer to what the car was worth. The only problem I had was with the finance department who kept throwing random numbers at me for no reason at all instead of telling me flat out how much the warranty was ($1600 more) he kept throwing random amounts and made up some sob story how when he was my age he didn't have the change to get it. After another 45 wasted minutes in finance I declined the warranty and was able to leave that night with the car.
We went to Edwards on Sat just to shop around. When we arrived were so kindly greeted by Allen Chavez. He was very welcoming and kind. He listened to what we were looking for and helped us find just that.. well actually better as I left with a great car. I would highly recommend asking for him if you go there. The whole process was actually very quick and all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We also appreciated the finance manager that helped us Ben Stecker he was very friendly, funny and helpful with any questions we had.. these are the people you want to ask for.. thanks Edwards for the great car and great service
My wife and I returned to Edwards Chevrolet Cadillac, after our last vehicle purchase two years ago, where were met by our longtime salesman, Rich Roberts. We told him what we were looking for, how much we could afford, and soon we were looking at exactly what we had in mind. We couldn't be happier with our new vehicles and the friendliest, easiest car-buying process in the Metro area. Our sincerest thanks to the entire team at Edwards. Thank you all.
They would just try to take advantage of you. what they were selling used 2016 Ford fusion with 55 thousand miles on it inside was 19k but the same car in Facebook marketplace they are selling for 12k. I wondered How.
ok, here is my experience. We ended up buying 2 cars from them (a new and a used vehicle). Our salesman Dave S was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. However...dealing with David, the Finance Manager was another story. When it came to doing the paper work on our first vehicle, he was the only person working that afternoon, so there was a 45 - 1 hour wait back in the finance department waiting room, but they had muffins, water, and TV back there so we were fine. Then once it was our turn, we go back to his office and he's got all the paperwork for us to sign and he starts telling us how this particular car that were buying, breaks down all the time and since everything is ran by computer now, if the computer goes out you are basically screwed, so we need to buy the service plan to extend the warranty. So that should've been my first red flag when I'm about to buy a $31,000 vehicle and the finance guy is basically telling me he's heard horror stories about this vehicle and how people who didn't buy the service plan were screwed. So things went back and forth for about 20 minutes, it's getting late and David said, "How about I throw in 3 years of oil changes with the purchase of the service plan, best deal I've given all day". Finally we said, "Ok", as by that time, they were closing for the day and we were very tired. So we sign the contracts and drive the car home. Well we looked over the contract and found out that David put the 3 years of oil changes cost IN OUR LOAN. So not only are we paying for the 3 years of oil changes he "THREW IN", we are ALSO paying 6 years of INTEREST ON those "FREE" oil changes" On the purchase of our 2nd vehicle we demanded to deal with a different finance guy and they sent us to Ron. He was a lot better. With the new vehicle we purchased a hitch to be installed on the vehicle, but after our purchase of 2nd vehicle (which had a hitch), we decided to cancel the installation of the hitch on the 1st vehicle. They had no problem with that and said they would send us a refund check for the price of the hitch. A little more that a month later and we still don't have that refund check. We've left numerous messages with the finance department and the owner (neither of whom are ever in the office, apparently) This frustration will weight heavily on the decision to ever buy another vehicle from this place. My advice is to beware of their finance department and make them go over EVERY line item of what you are financing though your loan.
Had a terrible experience at Edwards Hyundai this past week. We are in the market for a used car with low mileage and in good condition. After searching through the infinite amount of cars for sale posted online we decided that a Sonata at Edwards fit the bill. It was a 2015 and seemed to have everything we wanted. The pictures of the vehicle online appeared to show it in pristine condition and we called to see if the warranty would carry over on that particular vehicle. We were assured the warranty would transfer. After arriving at the dealer, we were passed off to another salesman we had not been dealing with (this was not a big deal to me). Things started to go downhill when we first laid eyes on the Sonata. It was COMPLETELY covered in hail damage to the point it looked like a piece of junk. We were told it was from a hail storm months ago, which I believe since there didn't appear to be other cars in their lot with the same amount of damage. The salesman seemed to brush off our concern by continuously saying "you don't drive the car from the outside" or "this is an easy fix- I bet you could do it yourself in a couple hours with ice and cold water." We decided to test drive it just to get a feel for the Sonata which was probably a mistake. In the end he actually said "you didn't hear this from me, but who knows if there was a claim filed on this. Next time it storms just call up your insurance company and have it taken care of." I felt so gross leaving the place I will never go back. Not cool to be telling your customers to file fraudulent claims with their insurance company.
Tim Martin was excellent. He was attentive to my wants and needs and provided every service he could to get me into the car i was looking for at the price range I needed. Even with longer finance issues Tim checked on me and made sure i was informed. Over all I would recommend getting a car here and i would highly recommend Tim as the man to talk to. Thank You for a great experience
I am extremely satisfied with my son's new truck. Working with Sandra F. was easy. She was honest and straightforward but did not try and pressure my son or I into a purchase. I highly recommend doing business with Sandra F. and the Edwards Auto Group.
Tim Martin was my sales man today on the purchase of my wifes 2011 Kia Sorento, everything went great, got a fair price for my trade, though $250 coupon just popped up on my web browers that I would have like to had earlier today! He did an awesome job with my deal. So far very happy with the purchase! Thanks Tim and Edwards Auto Group, it was a pleasure doing buisness with you!
Amazing experience! I've never liked buying a car because it's always a hassle and usually a bad experience. Because of the amazing customer service and expert advice, I was able to find the exact car I wanted and get a great deal that stayed in my budget perfectly. I have to say thank you so much to Dan, Josh, and Karen for helping make this go quick and easy while being very professional yet amazing to work with
Bought my 2006 Sonata here. They have always been willing to listen and then explain the repairs to me. I don't feel they have ever taken advantage of me! Love this dealership!!
If you are looking for a hardworking," make it happen" gentleman, Zach White will take excellent care of you. Zach went beyond the call of duty to make my car shopping experience a good one when I purchased my used 2017 XT5 Cadillac. He went the extra mile in customer service & he is such a polite young man....Thanks Zach!
We went to Edwards to compare vehicles we had been looking at from other car places and online. Our sales rep Andrew West took time to listen to what we were looking for and find us exactly what we wanted. Haveng done research on our 2017 Tucson, we received a fair price for our new car. I would highly recommend Edwards Auto Group, find Andrew if you go - he would take excellent care of you.
Got me into a new car!! BT then l get rear ended n they didn't put gap insurance on loan in writing, like l discussed with salesman. Or the free oil changes! Disappointed!
Just went through an awesome experience. 1st time getting a new vehicle. Jerry "007" Bond is a great salesman and the selection is vast. Great place to purchase new or used.
I would like to take the time to say thank you for your help and time and all your hard work you did for me April Hinman for putting me in my Hyundai accent 2018 I really appreciate it. I won t go anywhere else I will only come there from now on. I really appreciate y all giving me a chance y all rock.
I can't begin to say how satisfied I was with our salesperson, Josh Squibb. He took time to listen to our needs, budget, and then proceeded to have 3 different vehicles for us to test drive.
The best thing about Josh is he the is first salesman that I can honestly say I loved loved loved taking on a test drive. My husband, son, and Josh were talking like they were old friends. I didn't feel pressured to buy anything and that even made it easier for me to choose the vehicle I wanted.
Too bad there isn't a choice for car salesperson you would most want to take on a test drive because Josh would be my number one choice!!
