Nice sales staff when negotiating the sale in the front office. Be informed about the back office Financing Managers pushing the Multi - Shield Protection Plan before signing the paperwork . They will push bundled packages they say are statewide when they are not. (Oil changes only specific to Omaha service center). Windshield packages that only repair cracks, not the whole windshield ... I learned today that HALO managers will only approve $75.00 per panel for (PDR) paintless dent repair. This is not in the contract below. Good luck finding a service dept. that will do this for that price. The rate is
$200 + according to a Subaru Collision & Glass estimate. You will find out when what an inconvenience this is when you call the Halo claims dept.
(fair market value) is what they will call it. I will add a photo of the work done on my car when completed for the allowable $75.00 a panel. Thanks to a Subaru Collision & Glass manager & technician that thought to right a wrong.

When I first got there Robert Wilson and Christina...

When I first got there Robert Wilson and Christina Hogan met us at my vehicle. Then, Christina Hogan asked if we wanted to come in. So we went inside. After a little while, Robert took off took off for a little bit to get information, Christina kept me and my brother company while we were at the desk. I filled out some paper work. Then Robert came back and gave me some bad news. He told me that Deters had lied to me about my vehicle never being in a accident. But, he told me and my brother some good news that he was going to give me the blue book value because my vehicle was in good condition. That made me happy. While we waited, Christina showed us some of the models coming up next year. Then Christina and I went for a test drive. She showed me the features of the car. She was very knowledgeable and pleasurable to be around. We went back and did paper work. My brother went to talk to Robert for a min. to discuss things. Robert and a detailer polished up the vehicle that was on the show room floor. While that going on, we went into this ugly grey room to finish the paperwork. Christina filled the car with gas and brought me back my change . she walked me and my brother to the car and told me if had any questions to call her. Christina and Robert had made my car experience a good one.

Thanks Lorin

We bought a 2014 Impreza Sport. Q was very professional and took good care of us through the whole process. They were all easy to deal with and Q was a fantastic representative for the dealership.

Friendly people but make sure they finish the job. Was told I needed all windshield wipers so I said okay and I noticed the next day that the rear one was never replaced the last time I got my oil changed. After detailing my car the heater on the driver side mirror and the switch that controls the settings of the mirror we're not working had to go back. Most of the time they are fast and do a great job but there are sometimes where the wait time is ridiculous I have been there 3 hours but compensated.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sister put a down payment of $200 for a car and was told it was refundable. Once she decided to go along with a different place they said the money was non refundable and started to swear at her as I was in he room. I have a problem with anger and surprisingly held my own so no jail time. Did end up getting my money back after 2 hours of arguing and they knew I was right on my side.

My wife and I worked with Tim Martin at the Hyundai dealership very recently, and he did a good job of getting us get into a new car that we liked and that fit within our budget, We certainly appreciated the time and effort that he put into making things happen for us. He is very personable and did a great job of staying in touch with us throughout our decision-making process!

Edward's is an amazing place to both purchase your vehicle, and their service departments are spot on, and some of the most honest and engaging people you could hope to ever work with.

We purchased our last vehicle from them and they've backed us every step of the way through every service appointment, oil change, and complete vehicle tune up.

They got us into a vehicle that not only met and even exceeded our needs, but they've kept our vehicle running great years down the road.

Needing a new car couldn t have come at a worse time for me, so the 3 weeks I spent shopping was really stressful. I went to dealership after dealership and it s pretty much the same experience every time - they say whatever they can to get you out the door in a new car by the end of the day. Edwards was the one place that I felt understood my circumstances, gave me plenty of time to consider everything, and didn t rush the process just to make a sale. The fastest way to push me away from a large purchase is pressure. Obviously every dealer s main goal is profit, but I really appreciated how Edwards made it seem like they had my well-being in mind too. I love my 2013 Kia Optima; it s a huge upgrade from what I was driving before and after a little over a week with it I m so happy I decided to go for it. Brandon and Steve were both super helpful, informative, and straightforward. They also gave me a lot more than my car s trade-in value, which helped a lot. Steve emphasized that he gets his business/ratings from happy customers, not shady sales practices. Although anyone can say that, it seems to ring true for Edwards. If you re in the market for a new car, definitely check them out.

Most fun I've had in a long time! Never have had a NEW car and feel a little guilty for buying one, but there was no pressure on the part of Edwards, Duane made financing a snap, and. hey, YOLO, right?. :) Nick Jensen was knowledgeable, patient, and responsive to even my dumbest questions. Definitely worth the drive!

I am rating my total experience at Edwards Hyundai Subaru as a five-star experience! My salesperson was John Gleason. He is absolutely the best! He treated me with the utmost respect and was very considerate of my wants and needs. I explained to him what type of a car I was looking for and he bent over backwards to help me find it and also within my price range! I have been at many car dealers over the years and have never been treated with such respect and consideration. I ended up buying a 2013 Subaru Outback which I totally love. So when you go to Edwards Auto Group please ask for John Gleason, like I said he is absolutely the best!!

I went to Edwards just expecting to look and Tim Martin (my saleman) listened very well to what my needs were in a new car and what i could afford. He worked hard to get me the payment i could handle and was patient with me through the entire process. I would recommend him to anyone i knew who was looking to get behind the wheel of a Subaru. Thanks Tim!

UPDATE: Getting the run around about getting my car inspected!

My husband and I purchased a 2017 Kia Sorento (Love it!) last weekend. Sandra and Joe were very nice. Our appointment was for 1:30pm came in with all documentation (so we wouldn't be there all day), We finally got done around 6:00pm. Don't understand why it took so long (especially since we were so prepared). Will come back if we need another vehicle, but hope it doesn't take all day again.

Went to Edwards Auto Group last month and was looking for a newer car that was economical on gas. We talked with Brad Hansen and what impressed me the most was that he really listened to what we were looking for! I've been extremely pleased with my new Mitsubishi Mirage and love the savings on gas. Thank you Brad!

Tim Martin was our sells person. He was wonderful to work with. We live in Des Moines and he was very helpful over the phone before we drove to Council Bluffs. He was very friendly and easy to work with. The buying process went very smoothly and easily. We are very satisfied with our trip to Edwards!

I went in to just look at the Volestar over my lunch break, I told the sales rep I had only 25 minutes and just wanted to get a feel for what the car felt like and looked like in person. I didnt even make it to the Volestar because when they asked me to get a quick bit of information, I ended up sitting in an empty office for 15 minutes, only to have them greet me again with a credit app and I HADNT EVEN LOOKED AT THE CAR YET... at all ....!! Then when they asked to get the odometer reading off of my potential trade in, I looked out the window and I couldnt believe that they just drove off in it to take it on a 'test drive'. All they had to do to sell me a car that day was be nice to me and not the stereo typical 'car salesmen' crap. But it was not a good experience. When I told them that I might have to come back another day to finish up looking, that made me wait some more while the guy went to see "if there would be a manager there to help me that day", umm im pretty sure there is someone there to help you buy a car every day of the week.

Edwards wouldn't let me test drive any vehicles.

Edwards wouldn't let me test drive any vehicles.

Initially, the salesman said I could, took my ID, and got the keys out. But the manager stepped in and wanted me to fill out all of the financing paperwork before doing a test drive. I was serious about getting a particular model, so I filled everything out. My credit score is exceptional, so there wouldn't be any issues. After filling it all out - social security number, references, and all - I was then told I wouldn't be allowed to test drive and was walked out the door. They didn't even run the credit check.

I went on to buy the same model from another dealership with no problems, but the rudeness, outright lies, and apparent prejudice shown by the manager that night ensured I'll never return to Edwards and that I'll continue to share my experience with all my friends, family, and co-workers.

Terrible customer service. The salesman would disappear and be gone way too long. Didn't come close to matching the deals I had found on my car apps! Sales manager wanted to deal after the salesman came unglued and told me he only makes 250.00 a car no matter what he sells it for! Lol. Yeah, right!

Love the truck but, it took many calls, text and, over 30 days to get the title making the registration late causing me late fees. Was told by the salesman check to cover the fees was on the way. Truck was purchased Aug 1 registered Sept 11 it is now Nov 28 no check. Sept 10 they called and told me they had the title at the dealership. I took a vacation day to go get the title from the dealership, get the truck inspected and, registered. Guess what they could not find the title when I arrived. It was at another location. They were also going to pick up the title of the old truck that didn't happen either. Edwards in general just doesn't seem to care about the quality of service they provide. Once they had the money from me they could care less about the after sale. It doesn't pay the cross the bridge.

In the last 12 months, we have purchases two cars here. Both times, we worked with Sarah Chadwell and would work with her again if the opportunity arose. Not only were they willing to work with us but when it came time to buy a second car, this time for my son, she went out of her way to find a good quality used car for him.

I also want to commend the service department. When I purchased my car, I was given 5 free oil changes. i had a couple of other warranty issues and the service department was excellent to work with - especially Jen and Rich. Jen made sure my concerns were captured on the service tickets and Rich was able to resolve an issue for me after about 7 months of going back and forth.

I would recommend this dealer and their service department to anyone! When we need a new car again, this is the first place we will go.

Warning. Check your sales agreement line by line. These people added 5000.00 for an extended warranty that I had specifically said I did not want. 1000.00 for wheel warranty and another 1000.00 on halo shield. It took me 2 months and threats of a lawsuit to get this taken off a loan agreement. The finance person added these things and never once went over line by line the contract. I called and called and nobody received my call. I drove 95 miles back to this dealership. They paid the 5000.00 and told me the other check for 2000.00 was being cut as we spoke and would be sent to the bank. Said it would be a week until it showed on the loan. Well over 3 weeks went by. I checked that loan online every day. I finally had to call again and threaten to drive that 95 miles again to clear this up. The finance manager become irate and hung up on me when I told him I had contacted a lawyer. That's when they cut the 5000.00 check. The next 2000.00 was as difficult to get them to comply. Beware of what they are tacking on to your loan. They make money off all these extras. I had to pay my lawyer a 250.00 consultation fee but I would have proceeded with a lawsuit had they not ca.e through. It wasnt ready and took 2 months to get their attention. I was 16 hrs away from my home and this was a vehicle bought for my daughter that lives in that area. I had to stay in sioux city for those 2 months to get this mess straightened out before I could head home. The aggravation was time consuming with very little help from this dealership.

I first purchased my 2002 Silverado from the cash ...

I first purchased my 2002 Silverado from the cash for cars lot on August 31, 2013. I knew I was buying a used vehicle and would need to put some money into it. The salesman told me, "We do not do anything to these vehicles. At all. We don't check the oil. We don't know if they are safe to drive." He lied. I should have made him sign something. I found Stop Leak in the oil and the next day it was gushing oil at a rate of about one quart per minute. In other words, they don't do anything to their vehicles unless the vehicles are never going to get sold otherwise.

After a total of two years and $6,000.00 invested in the car after my purchase, I find out that my truck qualifies for a wheel speed sensor corrosion recall issued in 2014 in corrosion states, one that was also issued back in 2005, because the issue was not fixed in the 2005 recall. I never received notification because I live in Nebraska a non corrosion state. My truck , however is an IOWA truck. These guys say they aren't going to fix it, because my VIN isn't on the list for recall. The ONLY reason my VIN isn't on the list is because it's registered in Nebraska. So it's been around for 13 years in IOWA a corrosion state, and 2 years in Nebraska a non corrosion state, but isn't a corrosion issue? Give me a break.

I have been surprised with my last two car purchases the lack of follow up from my local dealership sales people when I was clearly going to purchase a new car. Through internet search and contact I found the sales professionals at Edwards to be proactive in their follow up to me, located the model, color, and features I wanted, negotiated a very aggressive price, secured and obtained the car, picked me up at the airport, and compeleted the transaction in a very friendly and timely manner. I am very pleased and would highly recommend Edwards Subaru, my experience has been very positive.

At first I thought my experience was going great then it turned into the most horrible first time buying experience. First they called me back to resign paperwork because they messed up, so had to drive 160 miles to resign 2 papers, then I went to get the title and license and they hadn't done a title check on the car they sold me and had a lot of back dated fees from the previous owner. They didn't bother to send the title paperwork until the day before my "30 days" was up now I am stuck with an expired "in transit" vehicle for another week or two because they couldn't do their proper checking. When I called to see how they were going to fix the situation I was told "I don't know what to tell you" So DO NOT BUY from these people. They will be all helpful to sell you the car, but once you leave they don't want to help you any further especially if they made a mistake

So

Shady place to do business. I called about a truck and they set me up to come see it. 10 minutes before I left, they said the truck was sold. 3 weeks later I see it online again. I called and asked about it and he said ya it's sold but can I interest you in another!

These people will try anything to confuse you and throw numbers at you. Have the NADA of the car you want to purchase and the trade-in value on hand, make sure it is exactly accurate with trim, accessories, and mileage. My bank will NOT pay anything over NADA, most won't. Know what the manufacturer warranty is. What your state tax and title is on a new purchase, and what the estimate is for the price you will be paying on your new car.

When I tried to leave to go look at another lot then they started to get serious, these people don't want you to leave and will do about anything to finalize the sale, made me about sick. I was literally at the dealer for 4 hours! First I talked to the sales man, then a manager, and then a GM. After that you will go to another person who will try to up-sell you on car clear coat and under carriage protection $1000. Then in finance they will try to add on Extended Warranty and GAP insurance $1500 +$550. The whole idea is to boggle and confuse you with all the numbers you are getting thrown at you.

Use this calculation: Original car value - price they are going to actually send to your bank to pay off your trade-in if you owe money - tax/title...

And I would suggest saying NO all the way until you actually get to where you want. These guys are vultures just saying be weary.

I received two calls after now trying to screw me over. First the guy Todd Roberts wants to know what they payoff amount is on my trade-in, I told him that when I was there. Just trying to pay less than they already offered me, um NO.

Jay the finance guy calls me and tells me he cannot get me the APR I signed for but he will take the GAP ins. off, um NO.

I swear to god if these creeps don't figure it out I will drive my car right back and they can have it back!

The sales manager is not professional at all. He is JASON REED. My mother went to the dealership to purchase a vehicle and needless to say my mother ended up in tears. Purchasing a vehicle should be an experience that he cannot accomplish. He has no manager skills and as a person how do you treat some ones mother that way that they end up in tears. After going through the reviews and seeing that he had another this same month how is he still working there? no wonder they have the reputation they do there. My sales person was great that is the only reason we still purchased because of my sales person. I hope Ownership pays attention to reviews from their customers!

Buyer beware to say the least. This is a great dealership to head to if you want your credit score completely jacked up. The finance department is a complete joke. They don't return phone calls, they have zero accountability, and they have even worse follow up. The sad part is that the sales staff in generally really good at least for us. We ended up getting a car here, but I will NOT return to it, as they completely trashed our credit scores with late payoffs (months late) and multiple hits on the credit inquiries. I know I have advised everyone I know to stay very clear of this place and will continue to do so.

On 1/22/2020 my wife and I came in with our 15 year old son to get him his first car. We had been to 5 other dealerships and this was our last stop for the day. We ended up buying a 2006 Dodge Charger. Personnel was friendly and paperwork was done in a timely fashion. We reviewed the Carfax (or the equivalent they use) and wanted to take home a copy so our mechanic could review it so he could give us an idea as to what was needed to make the car as safe as possible. However the printout was not in the paperwork when we got home. The next morning (1/23/2020) we called to get a copy. We were told that it would take about 30 minutes since they did not have a fax machine in that sales building. That kind of surprised us but ok. Several hours later, and with the car at our mechanics shop, we were still waiting. We called again and were told again that they would get on it. Didn't happen again. The next day (1/24/2020) with car still with our mechanic, we called and were told that they were all removing snow from the lot but was assured someone would get to it as soon as they could. Twice more we called that day. No carfax. On 1/25/2020 I called and left a message that my check would be placed on hold until we received it. Never arrived. After repeated calls on several days we gave up. On 1/29/2020 I paid for a copy of a carfax from my mechanic, took the hold off the check and called and told the manager how disappointing this was. He said that he could simply email it to me. WHY didn't they do that in the first place? No fax machine? Everyone removing snow? No one could take it across the street to get it sent? If they cannot handle something so simple then I have great reservations that they can handle things of more import.

Justin Carter was amazing. He worked hard to get me the deal he got. Allen Chavez was courteous and helpful. Both gentlemen were very friendly and understanding of my situation. I have to say that they both provided the best car shopping experience I've ever had. I look forward to continue doing business with them if/ when I decide to upgrade/purchase another, vehicle again. Thank you

Their service department has quite the business model. I scheduled a time to bring in my vehicle then when I brought it in they told me it will be about $200 just to diagnose the problem but the $200 can go towards the cost of the repairs. Most places will diagnose it for free, go to any auto parts store. I had already had a friend diagnose it for me and I told them what to fix. Well, they try to tell me I need $1500 in work done. I know that's not true as I get my vehicle serviced regularly and this is the first time I went to Edwards. I told them to fix what I knew needed to be fixed. The cost was about $350 from Edwards. After I got the cost from them I got a quote from another mechanic for $180 for parts and labor everything included for the exact same fix. Well, I was already indebted to Edwards for $200 JUST TO LOOK AT IT so I might as well just pay the extra $150 at this point because I had already signed the promise to pay $200 they have you sign when you drop off your vehicle.

In addition, when I go to pick up my car I have to pay to get my keys back (which took 15 minutes just to locate my keys) and before you can pay they make you sign something that says:

"THE SELLING DEALER MAKES NO WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED HEREON OR AS TO THEIR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. ANY WARRANTY WHICH MAY EXIST IS AN AGREEMENT SOLELY BETWEEN THE MANUFACTURER AND THE PURCHASER."

This tells me that Edwards does not stand behind their products and work performed. If I'm going to pay a premium of double the cost, why would I, or anyone, be ok with this? Do yourself a favor and do not go here. I asked around the community and everyone I talked to told me it was a mistake to drop my vehicle off there. I understand now that they were right. I won't be returning and I don't know why anyone would.

Our family got called nitpicky because we SET A PRICE LIMIT but they would ALWAYS try to get us in an overpriced vehicle when we CANNOT AFFORD IT. They also would claim to have a car IN OUR PRICE RANGE only to try and seel us a vehicle that was WAYYY too much and was the wrong TYPE of vehicle. Then the guy pawned us off on this poor kid who was told we wanted this big a** truck that was, wait for it, OVER THE PRICE LIMIT BY 300 DOLLARS! Poor kid was so flustered the entire time because he was actually nice and knew we couldn't afford it.

Hate them and will never give them a good review. I hope they lose business and are run out of business if this is how they treat people.

Good riddance!

Hands down the best dealership I ve ever had the pleasure dealing with. We worked with John and instead of running us around all the packages he was very straight with us. We had a truck picked and all the paper work done in what felt like no time. Easier purchase ever and we are SO HAPPY! Every one that works here has a smile on their face and make you feel comfortable instead of obligated. We ve all been there and almost dread this process... but it was a breeze! Will be coming here for every purchase from now on! Thank you to everyone at Edwards!!

Their service department is a nightmare. Took my camry in for an oil change. They managed to lose my previous maintenance record so wanted to redo that, initially came back with a 1k bill the most urgent bit being 400, warranty still covered the part so it went down to 200, kept my car for three days, dropped it off, and I'm left with an $800 bill. Tried getting in contact with them and was told I had clearly implied I wanted the full work done according to the girl I'd been working with and some other cashier I hadn't interacted with before, passed me off to the service manager, and lucky me that manager has just been far too busy to give me a call or anything. I can handle an honest mistake, but at this point I'm so tired of their "customer service" that I can't imagine buying anything there again much less recommending them to my worst enemy.

Tim Martin was a big help in finding our new vehicle! We went in looking for an Outback, and he was able to lead us to a Cross Trek, which is a very comparable vehicle and there were more options available. Tim was able to show us several different options and always put our ideas and opinions first. He got us a great deal for our trade in and was able to keep us within our budget! This is the 2nd car my family has bought from Tim, and we would definitely go back for a 3rd!

I have had two cars for a week and a half from chevy now that I still haven't signed a single paper for just Bc they are holding my cash and not keeping their word on the b1g1 deal that I even have in writing that they said they would do! I don't recommend anyone to go here they play mind games all day long, I've been there 4 different days for the one vehicle I've had picked out since day one in the first 15 minutes!

I took my car in for an oil change today. I was waiting in the waiting area and I get a call from the service employee that I could come get my vehicle and I told him I'm here waiting. He just laughed. Then tried to give me a bill, when its a complimentary oil change. Then I go out to my car and they parked it so close to the car next to me, I had to squeeze in. Not to mention I'm disabled. Note I have handicap plates. Then no courtesy car wash or vacuuming floors. Poor service!!!
