On Saturday July 6th I went to DCH Honda because my 2001 Toyota finally quit. I went to DCH because several people I know have used them in the past. My salesperson Sydney was extremely knowledgeable and fit me in the car that best suited my needs (good on Gas, Low monthly payment and most of all a nice looking car)
I never felt pressured or rushed. From the time I walked in, to the time I left the showroom with my new car was a Breeze.
I would definitely recommend DCH Academy Honda to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I did my homework before I came to the dealership. I was first considering the Toyota RAV because I have had a history with Toyota, "all good". When I compared the specs on both cars, I decided to come in and test drive the Honda. I knew instantly this was the one for me. Bryan went over the specs with me and gave me a tour of the facility. He tried to talk me into leasing, but I told him I was not interested and preferred to own. He than went over what was available and I asked if they had any leftover 2013s. When he told me they sold out last year, I was astonished. I personally have stopped 4 strangers (store parking lots, stores and where I live and asked them how they liked driving the CRV and they all answered me the same way - "they love it"! So I felt real good about my choice. When Akram came over and joined Bryan with negotiations, he was very supportive and understanding of my needs. I then went to meet Tian to handle the final agreements. He put the cherry on top for me by giving me sound advice on warranties that won't hurt my pocket in the end. I had a great team to work with, I am enjoying my new vehicle and crossed over to the HONDA family

I am 65 years old and from my first 1960 Buick Electra 225 purchased in 1964 to the Honda Civic I just leased this December 2012, my insurance company has listed the Civic as my 17th vehicle I have leased/purchased in my ownership lifetime. Usually, acquiring a new vehicle is borne out of some necessity of sorts, much like going to the dentist and usually, just as painful and anxiety-filled for the obvious reasons. However, my last 3 vehicles from DCH Honda and the last two with the same salesman, were, in relative terms, a very pleasant buying experience. It was 'hassle-free' and done very quickly. As a buyer, as most buyers probably, the feeling of being 'gouged' is the tantamount turn-off in the purchase of product. I will definitely return to this dealership at the expiration of my Nissan lease.
My car unexpectedly died and I was suddenly forced to buy a new car. Paul Papis was very patient and helpful with the couple of test drives I did in various cars. I ended up choosing the 2014 Accord and Sales Manager Tian Reid was extremely professional and efficient in setting up the right package of products that fit my needs with the car. Especially since I was working through an insurance claim process at the same time as trying to purchase the new car, I was most times unable to make any commitments regarding the car. Which, I can imagine, can be very annoying to salespeople. However, Paul never let anything dampened his good spirits in all the communication with us and did everything he could to work around the restrictions we had. An excellent car buying experience and definitely a dealer that I will recommend to whomever is looking to buy a good car in a pleasant and professional environment.

I had been in the market for a new car for a long time and tirelessly did my research before making the plunge to purchase my first new car. We ultimately came to DCH Academy Honda because they offered us the best deal through their internet sales team. Lisa was able to get us to a comfortable price point before we came into make the purchase.
We worked with Ron to make the purchase. I appreciate Ron being straight forward with us during negotiations, staying late so we could complete the purchase that evening, and mailing us our license and registration so we didn't have to drive back to the dealer (we live far).
Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend friends or family work with Ron.
The only caveat would be that DCH Academy Honda doesn't offer free oil changes, car washes etc. These are nice add ons that a lot of dealers offer now, at no additional cost.
Received a recall notice about the airbag in my car being defective. The notice said it would take approximately 45 minutes, but when I called the dealership they estimated 5 hours. Then I asked for a loaner car, but since I don t have collision and comprehensive on my auto insurance, they said I would have to pay out-of-pocket if I get into an accident with their loaner. I even offered to pay a little extra to upgrade the insurance, but they said that they do not offer this which is completely unreasonable if they are taking a long time to complete the recall work. I left multiple messages with the manager to discuss this and never got a return call.Finally, somebody mentioned that I could use the free shuttle service when I drop off the car and pick up the car. Unfortunately, when I dropped off the car, the shuttle service ended. When I picked up the car, I made sure that the shuttle would be running and then when I called to ask for a pick up, they said it would take 90 minutes because another dealership had the ca finally, somebody mentioned that I could use the free shuttle service when I drop off the car and pick up the car. Lastly, when I picked up my car, the key fob was not working. I spoke to the people in the service area about this and the gentleman who I was directed to told me that it was not his fault and that I should go to the parts department and see if I could get a new battery or module. I explained that the key fob was working when I dropped it off, but he said that by the time he got the car the fob was not working. So then I had to pay to have my key fixed. Are use this dealer when I originally bought the car and thought I would give them a try now that I ve moved back to town, but the service has incredibly declined and is very disorganized. The attitude is that they are doing you a favor by fixing your car which I think is completely unreasonable (especially since it was a recall). Recall landed me with a bunch of Uber receipts and a dead key.
Edit: They also left my car unlocked in the parking lot after it was done with the airbag replacement. Other dealerships would lock my car which I liked better so nothing would get stolen since the parking lot is public.

We visited various Honda dealers, but found that DCH Honda has the most collection of certified pre owned cars. Ivon Lopez, the sales rep was very helpful and gave the best price on the car. She took care of all the paper work and everything was handled very efficiently. I would like to thank Ivon, and would definitely recommend DCH Honda to others.
Tony Lopez is the ultimate professional in that he is very respectful and he is customer focused. He is very easy to work with and he truly wants to make the customer happy.
In our first conversation he asked me what I was looking for in a car. He showed me two cars that met my specifications EXACTLY. We test drove the cars. I decided on one car.
I felt the negotiation on the price was very fair. I had researched the price of the car online before I went to the dealership. DCH Academy Honda is very competitive.
There were no hidden fees added to the price. There were no fees for detailing and/or etching. The doc fee was $339, which according to Edmunds is the avg doc fee in NJ. Other dealerships were charging double that.
I felt that Tony exceeded my expectations by ensuring all of my requests were met. He replaced the rear view mirror, attempted to remove a scratch and he contacted the previous owner of the car to get the second key.
He was able to convince the owner to find the key and to bring it to the dealership. The key was there within 24 hours. Tony saved me $200 to purchase a new key.
I am extremely grateful for his OUTSTANDING customer service. He was a pleasure to work with.

So I went there to purchase a vehicle for my daughter. I was there at 850 in the morning before they open. I was asked by a sales man if I needed help. I asked him if I could see the Jeep. He went and asked for the keys. We walked out or the vehicle and i asked if I could drive it. We went for a 5 to.8 minute ride and this jeep was a as is no warranty. The air bag light came on but thats is a as/is so ok I am good with it I have family that are mechanics. I was totally aware of that and as we were in the show room and as he was filling out papers I was about to make an offer when tje sales man said let me go see if i can get the airbag looked at because its a safety issue. He talked to tbe sales manager and came back to me and said the sales manager is not going to sell it to you because it has to many problems and because they are a cooperation they want to fix the Jeep before they sell it. Wait so as/is is as/is. The new owner takes the responsibility. The salesman kept saying its because of the airbag light. The legally can not sell it with the light on. So I joked and said if the key isnt in the ignition then its not on. So the salesman said I will let you know whats going on after they take a look at it. Again he said they will not sell it to you like that. So I got his number and text him and said please let me know whats going on with the Jeep. He responded I will. So I also told him I will stop my search because my daughter wants that one he said no problem. As I was sitting home I was felling lime something was going on so I called there and asked about it and the saleswoman said she was makeing a deal on it as we speak. So i texted the salesman and he said that someone left a deposit on it last week. I responded with then why did you lie to me. And I got the typical responce back NOTHING. So not only did I miss out on that one I misses out on tbe second one my daughter wanted because I took him for his word. I not only was going to buy the Jeep I was going to get my wife a truck also as her lease is up. My other daughter lease is up in March and she wanted to get a civic so not only did they lose a sale on the Jeep by the way which was cash they lost on two other sales. DONT TRUST THEM.
This is the 3rd car i have purchase or leased in the past 4 years from DCH Academy. Peter Modzelewski the sales director is better than advertised. He went above and beyond with no non sense to get me the best possible service and price that fit my needs. There are not many people that can match Peter s skills in the car industry!! After i bought the car i brought my friend right to them to buy another car on the same day. Marcus was my sales guy and he was extremely pleasant and helpful during my process!!! Bad experience! Went to buy the car based on the Internet Price which seemed to be fair but they want to make extra money from accessories and Nitro fill . I was ready to accept the deal but they said accessories and nitro fill are mandatory and added additional ~$1000. When I asked not to opt for accessories and Nitro and their response was , these are already equipped in the car and we cannot do anything. If this is the case, increase the internet price so that there are no surprises . You should also be aware that just because you see a lower price at one dealerships Internet deal does not necessarily mean they have the best deal, the reason is they could be tacking on those additional costs elsewhere. This was my first experience with DCH Honda and I'm very happy. Gerry Bruno assisted me in buying the 2010 Odyssey. He was very helpful, patient, and friendly. Everything was taken care of by him when I came to pick up the van. Terry, the finance manager, explained me the different financing options very well. I like the care and professionalism shown by DCH Honda and will definitely come back when I need to purchase another car.
These guys are really good. Courteous. To the point. No BS. overall my experience was very good. I have dealt with a lot of car dealers over the years. They are the best so far. Mark Kamatoy was exceptional. A true gentleman. Honest and straight forward. Dimitrios Roumeliotis was also very good. He sealed the deal and did it very professionally. This is the second Honda that we purchased from Robert Levine in a year, and once again we were extremely happy with our experience. I recently went to dch Academy for a check engine light issue I had. I was so nervous about my vehicle, but Tara made my appointment for me and she was so helpful and got me right in ! I made sure to see her in the cashier booth before leaving to thank her ! Katelyn was my service advisor, all I have to say is WOW she was absolutely amazing, so helpful and knowledgeable! She really helped me out when I was in a pinch! I highly recommend seeing those ladies when you get your service !
Sam Beshay exceeded my expectations from the minute I walked in, to the minute I drove off the lot, in my new CR-V. This was the most seamless transaction that I have ever experienced. He was honest and trustworthy and even made sure that the tank was full before I drove off the lot. This is my 7th new car purchase and don't recall ever being treated with such courtesy. The dealership is nice and clean and everyone is cheery and helpful.

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership last week, and the buying process was very easy. But everything after that, hasn't been so easy.
When I test drove the car I noticed that the 1 of the tires was almost flat, so I asked the salesguy to make sure to have the tire inspected for any leaks. He assured me they would. I told him I would pick it up on Saturday between 3-4.
I got there at around 3:30, but no one had any idea about the status of my car. The salesguy I bought the car from wasn't there that day, so the guy at the front desk had to make a few calls to find out where my car was. It turned out it was still being cleaned. He told me to wait in the waiting area and he'll call me when it's ready. After an hour of waiting, I decided to ask if if he knew when the car might be ready, he said, "oh, it looks like it just came out." Whether he forget to call me or if it really did just get finished, I don't know. No one knew there was a trade-in either. I had to tell him I was dropping off my car, too. When I went out to look at my new car, I saw that the tire I was worried about looked a little low, so I asked if they ever fixed it. They said they did, and it was probably because the tires were under-inflated. 1 of the guys there inflated all the tires to 36. 2 days later, the TPMS light came on and that tire I've been talking about is at around 20 PSI. I took the tire off today to see if I could find the problem, and it looks like their "fix" was bad. Air is leaking from where they patched the tire.
I also called and emailed my salesguy about mailing me the title to my car, but I haven't heard back from him yet. Maybe he has the day off, I don't know

I can't stress enough how amazing Manny was throughout the whole purchasing experience. He was extremely informative and really left my wife and I feeling that he was working with us to get the best deal and not against us like most car salespeople made us feel. He even went above and beyond to run over to the new car building and get a big red bow to put on our car when he handed over the keys.

This dealership is the Costco dealer for Honda in the area and their pricing was excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by how warm the people were, and how they didn't rush you, but didn't waste your time either. had a very good experience dealing with Paul Rittberg. I was able to get the car that I wanted for the price I was able to afford.
I got a CPO Honda civic here and I got a tire pressure alert on the very first day. I tried calling the same sales representative who sold the car 1 hour back and he never picked the phone. I called him for more than 15 times in a span of 1 hour and he never bothered to respond to the text message.
The dealership also promised a referral bonus which was never received by my friend even after 3 months with multiple reminders.
Absolutely terrible service. Waiting 4.5 hours to lease a vehicle from arrival to leaving. Constant delays while workers standing around laughing and joking, while no one is actually working. Was told that the $199 nitrous oxide in the tire fee was "not negotiable" and "proven to improve mileage and reduce air escape from tires" which is all completely false when you look at the data online. Salesperson could not make any adjustment without checking with the manager - constantly - throughout the entire process. Had to sit while the manager told me about their "care packages" that cost an absurd amount of money for maintenance and repairs to the car if there is cosmetic damage. I have contacted the mangers multiple times without any response, and received an offer from Open Road Honda for $1000 less than I paid. I will NEVER EVER USE DCH again.
UPDATE - A manager contacted my after I emailed them about the aforementioned issues. They were eager to keep me satisfied and fully refunded the fee for the nitrous oxide. I received a check 2 days after we spoke on the phone.

I wouldn't recommend them, waste of time. they give you a cheaper quote online and add of bogus expenses later. most importantly the salesmen are very rude. I wouldn't buy it even if they are couple of hundred cheaper.
Our experience here was absolutely awful would never recommend this dealer to any one I care about. We were under the impression we were approved for our car when three days later we drive an hour away to the dealer to pick up the car we purchased to wait an hour for him to show up pull us outside and tell us the car was sold on Monday (we went on Wednesday). This was after we put a deposit down and said we were approved and to come pick up the car. Very rude and unprofessional. I ve bought many cars before and never had quite an experience like this. Will definitely be calling corporate to complain about this horrid customer service and the jokes they are playing here.

Had an excellent experience with our salesman Dimitri Victoratos. He worked with us over the phone on a new 2016 CRV Ex. The day of our pickup we signed off on the deal and were driving home within two hours. There was no hassle or constant "back and forth". I highly recommend this dealership as well as Dimitri.

I went in knowing I needed a new car and wanted to lease it so I told Paul (Papis) exactly what I was looking for and he helped find me the perfect fit. - certified, inspected - no issues regarding car's dependability and due to low
mileage and year of car, I assumed remainder of it's 7 year warranty

rushed or pressured. I felt composed in making my decision to spend the major
$$$ I have been saving up for this big ticket item
- Salesperson Ed Moy completed the paperwork in a timely manner and I went
home with my new (certified used) sparkling car !
Suggestion- save yourself time from dealer hopping (and possible horror stories of used car sales people), if you are in the market for a Honda, this dealer will provide excellent selection and service.

When I began my search for my car, I did the normal internet research. Loretta from the internet department was so prompt in getting back to me. I asked to get the best price they can give and sure enough, they provided me with that. Most of the other dealerships told me in order for them to quote me a price I had to come to the dealership. What I loved about DCH was that there were no games. They were straight and fair with me from the moment I began to research the car. Joe, the GSM, was also very friendly and professional every step of the way! I would hands down recommend DCH Academy Honda if you are in the market for a new car! Struck a great deal with the salesman, Ryan. Being a new comer to purchasing a car, Ryan was very down to earth and explained everything clearly for me. I enjoyed my time there, as they offered light refreshments as well. Highly reccomended.
Disappointing Experience:
For a used car (2009 Toyota Prius) experience--purchased in November.
Issue 1)
Hidden Fees: Tried to attach almost $2,000 in accessories and additional fees. Obviously some are explainable and necessary (sales tax, etc) and others negotiable. However, still had to pay $200 for Nitrogen Tire air fills which are supposed to help air in tires last longer side note: 2 weeks after purchase my check pressure light went off for the tire pressure.
Document Fees: The temporary registration expired after a month in the very beginning of December. Dealership did not receive my registration until right before New Years. I live over 2 hours away from the dealership and asked for the registration to be mailed but was told that mailing had been slow and to ask car salesman to see if it could be sent in expedite mail. Salesman was unresponsive and after 2 weeks I contacted dealership directly again and registration was sent out.
Issue 2) Car Light:
The car headlight turned on for the test drive. However was pulled over because one of the lights was out a week after purchase. Turns out it was an old light. The light came on for about a minute after the car started before turning off. These are expensive bulbs to replace (over $120)-- both for the part and due to the location on the passenger side require a mechanic to replace. Light over the license plate was also out.
Issue 3) Inspection Quality:
One of the questions I asked the salesman, Andre, during the test drive was about what inspection the car went through and if it was up to date. Was told that cars underwent inspection and checked and all was up to date. Trusted the salesmans answer being from a dealership.
Reality: The car inspection expired in October. The test drive took place in November. Test drive took place in car with expired sticker.
Inspection: Took the car to get inspected due to expired sticker and accrued $650 in costs to pass which were noted by mechanic as items that should have been noticed and addressed by dealership inspection prior to vehicle sale. Those were cost just to get vehicle to pass minimum inspection standards. Recommendations were also given for repair in the near future due to dry rot cracks, lower control arm bushings, and front shocks. Note: had to wait for delayed registration to be received in order to get car inspected.
Issue 4) Communication:
Tried for over a month to contact salesman for support with matters and, upon hearing back after this period, received little substantive response.
Overall those things added up to what used car buyers tend to fear, which I hoped to avoid with this dealership. There was apparent dishonesty, carelessness, and deception in the sale approach and overall experience I had ---and lack of ability to gain help with issues and receiving documents. And no communication with delays for the registration. I was excited upon initial meeting of the staff here but am very disappointment with the outcomes and customer service follow through. There are understood assumed risks when purchasing a used vehicle-but when those risks are clearly amplified and masked through dishonest sales tactics, poor office management, and overall unethical impression that could have been easily avoided through better and more transparent practice.
As a returning customer, I was surprised to see that the quality of service I received at DCH Academy Honda on my first visit could be exceeded. After the great experience I had the first time I purchased a vehicle at the dealership, I returned to Mr. Beshay, who had sold me the first car. Mr. Beshay went above and beyond and appreciated my loyalty as a customer and wanted to make sure that I walked out satisfied that day. He found me the right car and worked with me to no avail until we reached the right price. He demonstrated textbook professionalism and was able to transform my car buying experience to something exciting and enjoyable. I would recommend DCH acadameny,and especially Mr. Essam Beshay to anybody who is interested in purchasing a new or used vehicle. I have purchased both a new and a used vehicle from him and I could not be happier with my product and my service. In all honesty, I have dealt with a ton of dealerships and salesmen in my time, but these guys are the real deal. NO RIP OFF's, NO GAMES. Once again thank you DCH Academy and a Special Thank you to Mr. Essam Beshay for my new ride.
