If I could I would give this company ZERO stars, they had me come down made an appointment for a car I was told was sold days ago!!! So they do the classic bait and switch. They have you come down to look at a car knowing they dont have it only to say well we have something similar.
Armando was a Huge help! Not one of those pushover salesmen. He walked up to us in the lot to ask if we needed help. He did not try to push the car on us or anything. We happily bought with a extremely reasonable price! Very happy.

I just lease a new 2016 Civic LX Sedan. The staff was really great from the Heather Reinbeck who gave me the quote thru the internet to the salesman Enrique Castaneda. Enrique was thorough, detailed, friendly and very accommodating. The finance guy which I forgot the name was also great (sorry I forgot his name). There was no pressure from these guys to buy any options you don't want. This was my second Honda Civic that I bought from this dealership. The first one was a 2010 Honda Civic DX. I received different quotes from different dealers. Almost all are the same maybe with a difference of $10 a month. But I have a great experience in 2010 that is why I chose this dealership again. I also have dealt with different dealerships from Hyundai, Toyota, Ford and Nissan and those dealership I can say I was very sad and angry. But this dealership is very impressive. Thank you again.

I am currently in the market for a new vehicle. I took a ride out to this location to look at a car I was interested in. The entire experience was fair until our salesman, a very young man, disappeared while I was using the facilities. Moments later we noticed him sitting down talking business with another couple. On the spot we walked out and drove to another location.
I came in to look at a car I saw online. After a terrible test drive because the AC wasn't working in car and we had to wear masks because the sales person came along, we sat to negotiate pricing on the car. I was told there were several warranty options available that I could decline if I wish, one including a $199 nitrogen fill on the tires. I choose to decline the warranty as it was a fairly new used vehicle with low miles. After going to the manager to remove the warranty I was told that the tires were already nitrogen filled so that in fact could not be removed, when I was told not 2 minutes before that it could be. So I asked them to remove the $199 from the price of the vehicle, mind you that was all that I asked off from the list price, and they would not budge one cent off the listed price of the car. I was told that the manager was grumpy and would not agree to drop the price of the car AT ALL. I really like the car and just agreed to move forward. They could not approve me right away as they needed to speak with the bank and it was late on a Friday. I waited to hear back on Saturday and in the meantime went to go see another car while waiting for an answer from them. I found a car at the next dealership I went to and moved forward with them and drove away in a new car, all with STILL no follow up from DCH. I finally called them Monday morning, and asked where we were and they STILL did not have an answer for me, at this point I informed them that I already purchase another vehicle so they can stop whatever it is they had been working on for two days. In all honestly that was the least of my concern. The fact that they were not willing to negotiate over $199 on what they told me was an optional feature and were willing to let a customer leave unhappy over $199 was what really bothered me the most about this place
I've already had multiple experiences (3 to be exact, one lease and two finances) with DCH Academy Honda and they have all been great! Although we mainly deal with Adrian Acosta, the whole staff is always very pleasant. Of course I keep going back because no other dealership compares. We have also recommended them to many friends and they also keep going back. When we've seen their "new" cars we ask where they got them and they always say DCH Academy Honda!

First I would like to state that I shopped around in numerous dealers before and had successfully closed many deals for me or my relatives. Once I was set on a car I was introduced to Mr. Anthony Lidondici the sales manager to work on the financial aspect. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took care of all my concerns, requests and questions. He will work with you and will make sure you leave with the best deal possible. I highly recommend to ask for Anthony Lidondici to help you!! Finally, we met Vipin Rishi the finance manager to explain all the loan options. He is very funny, dedicated and will go above and beyond to get you the best rate possible! He was very knowledgeable and explained all the different extended warranty options. All in all, DCH Academy team made my buying experience fun while also ending up with a great deal! I am definitely coming back here for my next car!

Initially my day had begun in transit to another dealership. Upon passing DCH Honda, I was intrigued by the size of their used car lot. I went online instantly and checked their inventory. Being quite pleased with their diverse selection, and competitive pricing I instantly turned around after speaking to Jennifer on the phone about vehicle availability. Once I arrived I was greeted and introduced to Michael. I was quickly handed the keys to the vehicle I was interested in, took the vehicle for a test drive, was extremely pleased and within no time became the owner of the vehicle. Michael made sure that I would become the new owner. Any of my future car purchases will be sought out at DCH Honda, and hopefully I will end up with Michael again.

Horrible service that they offered.I came in to do oil change and I was told the price.I also ask how much was the transmission fluid change she said both oil change and transmission fluid change would be $189.She kept on forcing other stuff that I needed to do I repeatedly told her I wasn t ready would come back later.I came back to pay my bill and this same lady told me $252.94 this is terrible.She tried switching things over rushing me to pay.Tell people the truth. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN VERY DISAPPOINTED.
So I needed a car ASAP and was freaking out!!! I went bright and early to get it over with and was helped by Jesse. Not only is he friendly and easy to talk to but he spoke to me like a person and not just a potential buyer!! He told me the truth about my options and didn t sugar coat anything and he found me the car that not only fit my situation of having 3 kids and being on a budget but he didn t push nor pressure when I didn t agree with a option that was presented. I love my new color Konan CR-V, it was the best experience I had at the dealership with my husband. We were expected at certain time , arrive at time and everything was ready for us, even the car. Our sales person Otis was absolutely excellent. The finance manager Tian Reid was super professional with the deal and contract. Even the manager Chris was professional and very understanding. Tamiaya the phone sales rep was nice, and the car salesmen Paul Silas was nice also, but their cocky sales manager made them lose a deal, because they had a car priced for $23,500 and marked the price up to $25,000, because it needed paint work done, and he wanted me to pay for it. They let and easy sale go for not negotiating
I wanted to let cyberspace know about a great experience we had buying a new Honda Civic. The reviews on Yelp, Google, etc significantly influence my purchasing decisions so I thought I d try to sway folks out there in the direction of DCH Academy Honda.
After interacting with 15-20 other dealerships in the NJ and NY area we discovered the pleasure of working with the down to earth, knowledgeable and friendly people at DCH. The dynamic trio of Ms. Jennifer Calderone, Mike (Manager) and Luis Torres were very reasonable on the deal and just plain nice to work with.
Many of the other dealerships had unbelievable pricing but much fine print riddled with hidden fees + pressure, pressure, pressure. Moreover, a number of them were extremely unpleasant to deal with. Hats off to Jennifer and the team for the hard work and top notch deal on our new 2013 Honda.

I originally was in contact with Mark through email, as I was on a desperate hunt to get the best deal for the 2013 accord. Out of the 10 dealerships that I contacted, Mark was the first person to contact me with the best deal. I live in Brooklyn, so this dealership is out of my way. However, the deal was so great, I could not pass it up. When I came in Mark referred me to Joe Yankunas immediately to assist me. Joe was amazing! My boyfriend and my father definitely gave him a hard time, as they were skeptical after having a terrible experience with a Brooklyn dealership. However, Joe was patient every step of the way and answered evey single question we had. The only less than positive thing I would say is that we had to wait a long time to see the finance manager. However, it was Memorial Day and it seemed like every person waited for that day to purchase a car. Regardless, he was really helpful and did not push us into committing to something we weren't comfortable with. I ended up purchasing the car for so much less than what my local dealership originally offered. It was definitely worth the drive for me!!

I had a great experience purchasing my certified Honda from DCH Academy. They had a good selection of low mileage cars on their lot and after shopping around, the best prices I could find. My salesman Tim Crowley wasn't pushy at all, was very polite and answered all my questions. They also gave me a very fair price for my trade-in. Being my first car purchase, they walked me through all the steps and helped me to register my car in Delaware. It was a very smooth process and I would highly recommend purchasing a car from DCH Academy Honda.
We just purchased our new honda accord from DCH, and Eileen was extremely helpful through the whole experience. We were originally choosing between Nissan Altma and Honda Accord. After visiting Nissan dealer, we were so impressed by the quality and design of the new Accord immediately after the test drive. Eileen is very knowledgeable of all the functions of the car, and she was very patient in explaining the functions to us during our test drive. I have to say, we were charmed by the car because of Eileen's excellent demonstration :). Compared to the staff at the Nissan dealer, we felt people at DCH are way more professional!
We actually went to another honda dealer because they offered us a cheaper price on line. After speaking to the other dealer, we thought they would have a significantly better offer with more discounts. Yet the experience was a disaster at the other dealer - firstly, they canceled three different discounts for various arbitrary reasons; then our car broken down, cannot be started at all, after their evaluations for trade-in values. It's such an coincidence especially because we just had our mechanic checked the car the day before we visited the other dealer!!! We were outraged and confused; but instead of being understanding and kind, the person at the other dealer was sort of blaming us for brining in a junk car that they had to push back to their parking lot!! I guess they were so confident that we would definitely have to buy their car. Absolutely not! Even though the other dealer was $200 cheaper (instead $1000 cheaper according to what we spoke on the phone before we visited them in person!), we can't wait to go back to DCH. So I called Eileen and asked if they would still take our trade in car even if it cannot be started, and they said "don't worry about it; just tow the car to us." And DCH even matched the price differences for us!! How amazing! We bought the car that afternoon from DCH, and we can't be happier with the hassle free experiences at DCH. Steven was the manager that day who explained every payment option to us; and John was very patient and clear. Thanks to Eileen and Steven, we are having a great time driving our new car everyday :).

[Certified / pre-owned Section] Sales Manager was trying to be over smart with his calculation and sales skills rather than listening to customer budget/needs. Really bad experience! They pretend to be very nice and soft spoken but the fact is they are trying to trick you somehow.
Note: they have wrong kbb value with them and they try to befool you stating that they have no profit of 0 margin if they will negotiate.
Really Bad interaction that I had. Without doubt they were trying to have default net margin of around 6/7k$ on the vehicle I quoted/interested for ( Honda CRV ex 2014) but they were not ready to negotiate. No value and respect for customer.

I went in just looking for information and spoke with Joe Guzzo and was very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. I am very comfortable with purchasing/leasing my next car with him. I just bought a car a few weeks ago from DCH Honda. I was very apprehensive about it being it was my first time buying a new car and the reputation of sleezy car dealers. I Have only felt with small used dealerships in the past. The dealership was a mad house, which was expected being it s a large town and Honda s are so popular. If not for Megan the saleswomen I would have just walked out. From the moment I met her she put me at ease. She wasn t pushy and full of themaelves like I expected. She was patient and answered all my questions. Held my hand from making the choices with the car though the payment process. Genuinely seemed to love her job and had a wonderful sense of humor. This is a dealership you can trust. I visited many before deciding to go an hour outside the city to buy my car from DCH. There were a few reasons for this.
1) Joseph, Peter and Paul were all extremely professional. I never felt like they were being pushy 2) They offered a great deal for the car and I thought they gave a lot of value for money 3) They sell more than many other dealerships and have a consistent track record of long term relationship and it has been under the same management for 25+ years. (I asked them about all the plaques on the wall)
I think these factors showcase that they're doing something right and I experienced that first hand buying a Honda from them. I would highly recommend them!
I have been loyal customer at DCH Academy Honda service department for the past five years I Brought my Honda odyssey in on Monday to have my door diagnosed and was told it was a door actuator for the locking system but couldn t afford the 409$ price tag at that time and I was also told that my power steering hose was leaking fluid a1200$ plus price. Really!! $1200 for a hose!! I Took my van for a second opinion and was told there was no leak in any hoses on my power steering pump. DCH academy Honda Is very dishonest my advice would be to find a different dealership if you want to get your Honda serviced!!
I HIGHLY recommend Academy Honda for purchase AND service. I live near another Honda dealer, but have purchased 3 Honda vehicles from Academy. Paul Margues and the entire service department (Jerwin was the most recent service agent to assist me) are excellent. I have tried to use the service department at the Honda closer to my home, but was spoiled by Academy Honda in Old Bridge, so I go to Academy Honda now. Really cannot say enough positive things about Paul and the service department.

I had a very pleasant, professional, sales experience at DCH Academy Honda. This happened because of The sales consultant Michael Cislo. Michael is an honest, friendly guy who knows the vehicles and is genuinely interested in helping you get into the right car . He made the process easy. Jenni , the finance associate is another ethical, professional member of the team at Academy Honda. This team works towards total customer satisfaction. I'm thrilled with my new truck and will return to DCH Academy Honda again.
Sketchy, long process, messed up my name on all paper worked so I had to drive back not just once but twice then the registration was wrong they refused to deliver the car after I had driven a total of 6 hours after their mess up... NEVER will I buy a car from this dealership again.
The experience DCH provided to me while I was purchasing a car was bar none.
As soon as I walked in I was welcomed even though they were about to close and were packed with other customers. As soon as they were able to Armando immediately came over and started to take care of me, he asked me what car I was there to see and grabbed the keys and took me for a look. We took a test drive and returned to the dealership to talk about purchasing.
At this time it was already an hour after they closed but I never felt rushed, everyone in the office was friendly and accommodating. Small issues kept arising as it was late Saturday night and everything was closed but the staff just helped navigate these obstacles. In the end I was able to purchase my vehicle at 10pm on Saturday night with the help of the staff who had not complained or even seemed agitated once.
Typically when you walk into buy a car, especially a used one, you're hounded and rushed, only being treated as a purchase. At DCH that simply wasn't the case, they took the time to talk to me on a personal level, even after hours of dealing with me and paperwork still offering me personal advice and even saying the purchase was up to me and I could think about it and come back or not.
The experience as well as the staff was bar none amazing and I would highly recommend anyone shopping for a car at least stop by.

Service Dept has bee very good, professional, expeditious, and cooperative. The only negative is that their prices are somewhat high - but that seems to be the same at any dealership (all brands).
Buyer beware of Hidden Fees and services You can't use.
This was a big disappointment. While I do love the car I bought it was a battle right from the moment I walked through the door. I had struggled to find an Accord in the color I wanted with the specific options. DCH had it. I had to travel over an hour to the dealership. I received an email two days prior with an estimate for the price of the vehicle less taxes. This was the Certified Pre-Owned price. I called in the day before to find out what fees the dealer would add on because I had arranged financing and would be coming in with payment. I was told there was a $499 fee for paperwork plus state taxes. When I got there the price they had given me was not the certified Pre-Owned price. DCH wanted $895 to certify the car. DCh wanted $399 for Laser window etching, $399 for NitroFill, another $349 for registration (not included in the $499 dealer paperwork fee). I had to negotiate for over an hour to get a somewhat decent deal which was still more than they had quoted me. Never received paperwork for Laser etching and there are no NitroFill locations anywhere near me. I was basically left to sit around after I signed paperwork for 2 hours. Sales person would randomly check on me. No conveniences offered while I waited. I received an email stating that if I was not 100% satisfied to call Manager. I did and never received a call.
Poor Customer experience, Poor Customer Service, and Poor Follow-up.
Had I not wanted that specific car I would have left and never returned.
