Berkley is the best service adviser I have ever had. We have two Hondas (one that I drive and one that my son drives). I take them both into Berkley. She goes above and beyond to make sure both cars are safe and working well, which is something I truly appreciate since my son just recently got his drivers license. She works to get me a fair price for my services and honors any warranties that I have. She is extremely attentive to detail, such as ensuring that my car has been washed and is clean when she returns it to me. I will continue to use David McDavid Honda as long as Berkley works there.

new car purchase 3/12/2016 From awesome salesman-great experience when trying to get the purchase. Took vehicle back to get plates installed a few weeks later and that is when the service experience went down. I waited over 30minutes to be assisted as I waited in the bay outside my cars and saw car after being helped. FInally, I complained and was assisted and basically told it was my fault for being ignored as I should have said something, 1 week later, I noticed bubbles on my tint so I took it back to get it retinted and was assured it would take appx. 5 hours. No calls that day, I finally called and was told it would be done soon, I arrived at dealer at 330pm and after 5pm still no vehicle. I spoke to Julian in service and was advised it was finishing up. I go the car back rushed, car was wet and was told by Julian that it was all good as he checked it. I got home and all trim by doors was cut and scratched, tint had large bubbles and dirt and trunk refinish and back light was scratched. I called and was told to go back that Monday. I dropped off after going over all damage with Julian and manager and was assured all would be repaired, 2 wks later I go 1 call and I have called several times for updates since no one is calling and finally was told that all was good but scratches were not able to be removed and they wanted me to go and see if I was ok with scratches on car if wanted them to repaint. 2wks later, that is about the time I have had my car with less then 800mi, I called general manager Sonia and waiting a callback. I will not accept a damaged repainted car or car that is not the way I left it. Please make sure you check your cars prior to leaving their bay so that you do not go through what I am currently going through. I will update once general manager calls me.

We purchased a vehicle from Marquis, salesperson, and he did a fantastic job of explaining everything clearly --. including all fees, taxes, etc. --, processing the paperwork quickly and doing so with NO upselling! (We are not the upselling kind of people.) The price in their online email ad was exactly what we paid for the vehicle. Joshua, financial services, quickly and pleasantly explained all additional options and it took him no time to process the loan paperwork.

Tried to charge me 175.00 for oil change , tire rotation and new wiper blades when I specifically ordered them separately. Tad rectified it back down to the 92.00 I was expecting. I get in my car and two unmarked white pills are sitting in my driver seat so I took them back in to the cashiers and then tracked Tad back down for my inspection report that wasn't in my car. Turns out it's sent via txt now. First time Honda owner and first time getting it serviced. Now I know what to expect.

The sales process for a car was efficient, but thats where the good customer service ended. I walked in and purchased the car on the spot. They make the close of the sale simple and fast, but the followup was horrendous. They never gave us paperwork for our financing and we did not receive the certification of our Certified Pre-owned. We have had the car for about 6 weeks now and essentially we don't feel like we own the car because they have still have yet to pick up my phone calls or give me a call back.

My file I have had few bad experiences with this Honda in the last 6-10 months. One being I had 3 incidences with squirrels or critters of some kind eating all the soy off of my wires(3 times in 10
Months . 2 happened within 1 week of each other) that cost me $1500 for the three because that also was not covered. Then last week my windshield had to be replaced because the wiper became unhooked and hit windshield cracking it. Then This Weekend had the pan under car come unscrewed and fall off. My daughter Pam has leased many Honda s from you and one from Lute Riley snd never had a problem. My son in law Ray Lewis has leased several, one just a few months ago. No problems. Could my particular Honda be a Lemon?. I am retired and on a fixed income and am afraid to get another Honda. I just can t understand All the problems I have had to pay out of pocket.$2000 in 1 year. I worked with David Yi to purchase my new car, he was quick and easy to deal with. He gave me the price and offered whatever he can right away, unlike other dealerships where people just go back and forth with their managers.
He encouraged me to experience other dealerships and get a price quote form other's to make a comfortable purchase, even though I may save couple hundreds from buying it from other dealership i just felt comfortable buying it from them.
We closed the deal pretty quick, the accessories sales people are very professional they explained what I can buy and benefits, they didn't tried to lure me or scared of what if i don't do it. I kind of like that approach.
Keeping in mind dealerships and salesman are in the profession of earning business, my experience in buying the car is good with McDavid Honda of Frisco.
I would recommend McDavid Honda of Frisco to anyone and try David Yi, I felt he is very honest.

I made an appointment on line. Received several reminders via email. My service rep Chuck Pullen got me in right away even though I arrived a little early. My car was finished before his estimated completion time even though it was a few days before Christmas. Chuck is very personable and polite. I didn't feel rushed. He answered all my questions. My car required a minimum of work, which bolsters my sense of the dealership's honesty and integrity. I love the fresh-popped popcorn in the lobby, the fresh orange, everyone being so nice. I'm very happy I bought my Honda CRV at David McDavid of Frisco even though I've tended to avoid dealerships when buying cars since I never buy new ones. I'm happy with my certified pre-owned, and I really like my service rep Chuck Pullen. Not only does their shop do excellent work but their customer service is outstanding. They treat me as if I'm the only customer they have and want to wow me every time. Recently, I had some difficulties with my car and one of their service consultants, C.J., was amazing. He listened, he was patient and he went above and beyond what the circumstances called for. I not only felt valued as a customer but I was confident that my car would be well taken care of. I don't often use this word in relation to car repair, but I trust C.J. and I trust David McDavid Honda.

However, this most recent purchase also required a significant bit of follow through--which could have been easily avoided--and Garret Elkins really came through for us.

First of all, our service rep, Dylan Flatt, was exceptional! He took great care of us and did everything he could to make our experience a positive one. But he could do very little about David McDavid's lack of customer support and standing behind their products.
We purchased our 15 Honda Odyssey from this dealership in July of 18 with about 37K miles. We changed the oil with synthetic about every 8K miles one change at 45k and another at 53K (we have receipts to prove this). In September 19 the check engine light started flashing - 60K miles.
We immediately contacted Honda and had the vehicle towed to David McDavid. The master mechanic stated that the Maintenance Minder (MM) was registering a negative 10K reading and the cylinders look like the oil hadn t been changed since we purchased the vehicle, but we had the oil changed 7K miles prior to this incident. This indicates that the MM wasn t reset.
We told them we could prove we had the oil changed regularly and the type of oil, but they didn t want to see our evidence. They refused to consider it!
They did offer to pay half of the cost to replace the piston rings and for that I give them a star for that. The other star is our service rep - I will give him 5 stars for for his service alone.
We drove and maintained our prior Honda Odyssey that we traded in for our current one the exact same way and never any carbon build-up issues.
This Honda is a pre-certified vehicle purchased a little over a year ago and we acquired the expensive bumper-to-bumper warranty for this very reason.
These issues were clearly pre-existing conditions that should be covered either by the extended warranty or the pre-certification.
We got also push-back from Honda on covering the battery when it died after owning the vehicle for only two weeks! Honda refused to pay for the new battery. The technician finally relented and said he would pay for it out of his own pocket.
This lack of customer support seems to be a pattern with David McDavid Honda. David McDavid just lost a customer.
UPDATE: I spoke with the service manager, Collin Baker, who went over what should have been explained to me while we were going through this. It's basically a corporate not a dealership issue. Honda America knows about this defect in the fuel efficiency system and, due to lawsuits, does cover certain models/years - unfortunately, not our vehicle.
I can only increase the rating to 3 stars because our experience with the service department was so bad and we were made to feel like we were at fault.

High turn over rate. Went in for them to fix two recalls. They left my door panel loose had to go back in for them to fix that, and it's not how it was before I went in. Also discovered they took off two panel covers in the cargo area and didn't correctly attach those. I called the service department to tell the guy Greg what had happened. I just really felt like he just blew off the situation...Talked to sales guy Michael Davis and his fiance manager about trading our current vehicle in for something brand new. They stated they would give us a call on Monday to see what they could do. Never got a call, Micheal sent a text saying " Let him know if there is anything else he can do for us". My answer to that question is, if you're going to be customer service, be customer service. If you don't like your job then quit. Every customer deserves EXCELLENT SERVICE. Not Monobuttockular service.
