I was so impressed with the speed at which my problem was addressed. The staff kept me informed that entirety of the process. I was comfortable waiting for my vehicle in the facility. Will definitely continue doing business here.
The service manager is a good guy. They changed their loaner car policy which is a good thing. But therr are D heads in service delartment, better known as service advisers, i wish one of these days, some one beat the living heck ouutta them, these guys have attitude issues, Mr Kelvin Jones, a big guy who thinks he is the President of that place, was behaving so rudely, i felt bad for that very customer... On the other hand : Tom and Matt kail are real good guys! Its a good place except Mr Kelvin Attitude jones...
Fast and friendly service. Reasonable prices, especially with monthly coupons. Advisor Chris Kite is knowledgeable and kept me updated throughout the service process.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was personally astounded by Dylan Flatt who is a very respectable gentlemen and answered all the questions I had. Great place!
Advisor are very helpful and explain the d sevices well BUT, the technicians do not refill the fluids and nobody in the service department make sure that this service is given. I had 3 services on my car and the antifreeze and steel weel fluid have not been file out ...not even a drop for many many months. If the fluids are not included in service just say so. I trust that Honda service is taken care of it and, I didn't check the fluid until one day I was cleaning the hood. This last weekend I was told the fluid were checked and refilled. I will need to buy the fluid and fill it up to specification because Honda service department did not do a good job.

I was doing Internet shopping to buy a vehicle and the salesman I was in contact with at this dealership Youness. I felt like he was disrespectful, wasn't direct in answering any of my my questions and it was just a waist of my time. I didn't have a problem with any other dealership that I had contact with.
They were helpful from the moment I drove up. Explained what happened when I was panicing and helped assure me all was fine. Fixed it and made me feel better.
I cannot say enough positive things about my experience at this dealership. The staff were kind and knowledgeable, and the entire process (test drive, paperwork, financing) was very quick and smooth. I strongly recommend making this dealership your next destination for a new Honda!
Deceptive Service Department. During an oil change I received an email requesting approval for 4K in repairs. I declined the repairs assuming the person handling our paperwork would go over these urgent recommendations. 10-15 minutes later we received a call to the service counter. The Rep stamped our paperwork PAID stated you declined additional repairs, so we re done have a nice day . Puzzled. I asked him about the recommended repairs and compared our last visit which was only 30 days ago. None of these urgent repairs were recommended. He stated I can t speak for the last facility when I clarified my last visit was HERE. He didn t have a response. I thanked him for his time and left. On my way out, I was coincidentally greeted by the facility director. I informed him of my displeasure. Unfortunately, he wasn t very helpful. He initially blamed the express service guys for missing the repairs on my 1st visit stating they were inexperienced and aren t as skilled as the main facility repair guys that seen my car today. When I clarified I d never used express and further detailed the Reps lack of customer service I was continuously given an I m confused response and a looping conversation full of excuses. I simply left and will NEVER return. My advice....look closer at the repair pictures provided you ll notice it s not your vehicle but a GREAT scare tactic to get those repairs done URGENTLY

I recently came from India and had to choose a vehicle that suits needs of my family. What an amazing experience we got with Andrew Luney. Purchased 4 Honda s from David McDavid and services all of them in their service department. Last week I had to take my car in after hitting a curb. Had no idea the damages but they quickly assessed and sent an estimate. Stephen was my service connection and he helped me go thru my insurance claim and went far above any other rep to stay in touch and help throughout the process. My car is running like a champ and I will always trust David McDavid Honda.

Between her busy schedule, she would have asked one of her crew to take care of my issue or she would have simply ignored my request, but I never expect that GM will step out personally to address my minor issue to resolve. I trust Honda for its reliability, but Leadership & Customer Service skills like what Sonia has are truly rare gem.

My experience purchasing a new Honda Odyssey was fantastic. My wife and I were really not in the market for a new one but were forced to buy when our current 2009 Odyssey was totaled out due to an accident. We did business with Brad Dechent. The process was fairly quick and we knew exactly what we wanted and Brad helped us address all our questions and concerns. We were able to negotiate to a very fair price and the whole buying process was pretty painless. The finance person (sorry can't recall her name right now) was great as well. Overall we are very satisfied with our new purchase and we definitely recommend David McDavid to anyone interested in purchasing a new Honda automobile.
I have been leasing cars for the last 15 years and this is hands down the first time ever it did not feel the typical sales tactics that usually leave me aggravated or angry after the fact. We all have heard the typical "car salesman" stereotypes - but these guys are not that. I truly had an enjoyable experience and look forward to going back.
This is by far the best dealership to get your Honda serviced. Mike Meyers takes such good care of us and genuinely cares about our business and meeting all our needs. He is an expert in providing advice and making sure our cars are in top condition. I have a long commute to work every day of over 100 miles round trip. Knowing my car is in the best shape possible and being able to trust who I'm dealing with is the most important thing as a customer. I can't say enough great things about Mike and what he has done for us over the years.
The salesman Terrance Mayberry was very helpful and let us checkout all the cars to make sure that we were paired up with the car that fit our needs. I know I keep saying our needs because not only did my daughter buy a car but I also traded my 2015 Honda CRV on a 2020 CRV so I think that will tell you something about our sales person.

Lots of error on this trip. Scheduled via website, and while I selected an 80,000 mile service, it was never performed. I'm thinking somehow it got omitted on submission. Could have been user error, not sure. My service rep didn't follow through on my service, I had to contact them. At the service desk, had to ask them to get my car after I paid.
Best advice: RUN from this dealership. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM DAVID MCDAVID OF FRISCO.
I bought my 2015 Honda Accord EX-L from David McDavid Honda of Frisco, and I had THE absolute WORST experience. I will never purchase a vehicle from this establishment again. My salesperson, Stephen Szilva was the only, and I mean the ONLY, saving grace throughout the process. He was absolutely wonderful.
Background Story: Friday, May 29, 2015: I was at my bank's loan office to sign the paperwork on the loan for my purchase that I had set up with Rusty Wallis Honda, in Dallas, TX. (If I could do it again, I'd go there in a heartbeat.) I had a Buyers Order from Rusty Wallis. The branch manager at the bank told me her husband works at a McDavid, which may be able to do a better deal for me. Within 5 minutes, while I'm still at the bank, I was contacted by ADAM RUTLEDGE from David McDavid of Frisco and he stated that, "Given the price of the car, they could knock another $100 off but that's the best we can do." I had already negotiated a great deal with Rusty Wallis. I decided, I'll take anything I can get off so I completely changed the game plan that evening right before the bank closed. We couldn't finalize paperwork, because I didn't have an updated Buyers Order outlining the details of the purchase from David McDavid Honda of Frisco so I left the bank right at 5:00pm.
On Saturday, May 30, 2015 I entered David McDavid with my Buyer's Order from the other dealership. Adam Rutledge came out and stated he couldn't hold to the agreement that was on the Buyer's Order because I was no longer doing a trade-in. (I was able to get more for my car when I sold it outright.) Little did he know, I had another Buyer's Order which stated the pricing WITH the new down payment amount. I was already a little flustered at that point. After I showed him the updated Buyer's Order, he reluctantly took it to the finance office. When he returned, he informed me he couldn't do the additional $100 off because the price of the car was already so low. Keep in mind, he reached out to ME and offered that incentive. While I understand $100 isn't a lot of money, it's was principle of keeping an agreement. They tried showing me Kelley Blue book and give me a line of how it's already below and they can't go any lower. At this point, I was livid. I had all kinds of people come up to ensure I was pleased with my experience and I was far from pleased and/or content.
I finalized all the agreement paperwork just so I could get out of there as quickly as possible. I still needed to get the bank to send over the documents, but my bank closed at 1:00pm Saturday and it 3:00pm by time I left. As we all know, banks are closed on Sunday. Monday morning I received a call from the General Sales Manager, JP KINMAN, threatening to have the car repossessed if I didn't get the bank to send the information over by a certain time. On the phone JP said, "You know, I didn't even want to do this deal. We are losing money on the car already and it's not even worth it at this point. It was only as a favor so my guy could meet his quota for the month of May. NOW he won't even get credit for it." He was absolutely horrible and I felt he was threatening me. I contacted my bank to ensure the paperwork was sent over and he continued calling. The lady at the bank even told me to stop answering and she's never had someone be so unprofessional to her either.
This past weekend my a/c system starting blowing out hot air. David McDavid told the condenser needed replacing and it would cost me $660 and it wasn't covered under warranty. I took my car to Honda Cars of McKinney where they're replacing it FOR FREE. The service advisor STEVE KNOWLES stated, "I know I'd be pretty upset if my new car had this happen so I spoke with my manager and instead of it costing you $700-800, we will take care of it at no cost to you." I am over-the-moon happy that I found Honda Cars of McKinney and will only do business there. They showed exceptional service to me. I will NEVER do business with David McDavid, again.
I used to highly recommend this place, but their service department prices have risen too high. Oil (the commodity) is the cheapest it's been in decades, yet David McDavid oil change price is at their all-time. Money grabbing.
They used to take competitor Honda service coupons - no more. They decided to jack up prices on just about all services, across the board. I think someone new is in charge and ruined the only reason I recommended this service shop - their prices.
The service staff is great. They can't control pricing. It's their management that became money hungry and ruined this place.
I understand the property has construction going on. But in my opinion, that is a reason to raise the bar on customer service, which was not the case in my experience yesterday. When I sat in the carport for 5 minutes, waiting to be greeted (even though no other cars were there or drove up), I watched 4 gentlemen employees horseplay around with each other. Someone other than my scheduled service person came to greet me, said things were slow, but my original service person was busy at the moment- that was ok. I told him I was waiting in the waiting area for my car to be done. I got a text message when my car was done. I supposed this is standard protocol now, but if I m waiting in the waiting area, I would have really appreciated being notified in person and walked to the correct desk to check out. The reason I say this is because the area where all the desks are is very crowded and it is not easy to find the correct one. I was trying to walk through the area to find the right desk, meanwhile several employees talked around me and over me as if I wasn t there. I walked through the whole area and out to the carport looking for the right person who texted me, couldn t find him, so I came back inside before someone finally asked if I needed help. It was very awkward and something that could ve easily been prevented, had a person just came and got me from the waiting area. The recommended services summary had multiple listings of the same service, and the summary was sent to me twice. Those are small things, but added to the overall disappointing experience.
Great experience . I brought 2 Honda Accords in 5 days excellent customer service. Mr Onbra,Jeremy and Mr Massaud did a great job. I will be sure to tell everyone it's a great dealership.
This is not a paid advertisement , I write this because I'm a Colorado boy and we are pioneers, were many a breed of pioneers , who study the Bible and look for directions, the full chili bowl is at David McDavid honda Frisco, As I understand the Bible says to show honor where honor is due, bit i never thought when I would move to a city, I was scared of cities before we left Colorado , I would learn so much dishonor :( when seeing the humbleness is in the rear view mirror , left in the sunset with the mountains (many tears of sorrow) DFW as they call it is not Amarillo and it's not small town Colorado, it's the city, I didnt meet alot of people I even a little bit trust, because I found out the truth cities are rough? I'm shocked to find this out at 35, it's another world, I hope this gets posted, but I dont know if honda will ever let this get posted??????? I met a few good people in texas , rusty and susan, no tricks, no trying to get your wallet, I seen enough in TX to make me run for the mountains, but not here, God bless you Rusty and Susan in the Frisco TX service dept, keep it pioneer, and never sell your soul to the evil one, there are not many true kind people I have met here, but I met 2 here, and believe it or not, we got a price quote from another dfw honda dealership for a crv, we got.a better price somewhere else, its not always the price that matters, (NOT ALWAYS) THANK YOU HONDA FOR RUSTY AND SUSAN IN THE SERVICE DEPT!!!!!! I DONT KNOW THESE PEOPLE I AM WRITING ABOUT, I ONLY MET THEM IN 2 VISITS TO SERVICE, PLEASE KEEP THEM, PEOPLE LIKE THIS WILL GO FAR, KEEP IT REAL AND KEEP IT SIMPLE, SIMPLE WORKS.

I purchased a 2016 Honda Accord Sport and the car looks nice on the outside but the inside is very plan and has low technology. Other cars in this price range are nice on the outside and loaded with standard upgrades on the inside. I guess I should have test drove other car makers if would have known this. I have to live with a mistake for awhile.

Honda Mcdavid Frisco is the best place to get your vehicle needs. Kelvin Jones in the service department is awesome. Every time I have been there, I feel so comfortable because of the exceptional service. He is very kind and explains what kind of work will be performed on the vehicle which makes me very comfortable working with him. He takes care of all the possible discounts that are offered without any coupons, printouts etc.

Good service on buying a new car after 12 years. We had come to Honda of Frisco a week prior and test drove the Honda Pilot touring trim. Then we went to test drive other cars from other makers. Finally we came back the following week with our 12 year old car to trade it in and buy the Honda Pilot. Service was good but the wait time after getting price we wanted was about 3 hours. Also the coupon for the trade in had a hidden condition to get double with having to buy the car at MSRP.. Naturally no one will buy the car at MSRP,.. FInally got to Finance 3 hours later which took another one hours but got some good perks with the car and lower payment for five years. After all was done we left super sleepy but happy to get the new car at the price we wanted with a bunch of perks on warranty and etc. Also thanksful that dealership gave us the Honda website to learn all the features of the car. We still have a lot to learn on the car.
They have a good ambience and have expanded their reception area. Very welcoming reception. Issue that I find here is inaccurate diagnosis and costly repairs. I do second opinion and most of the time I find that this place has inaccurate diagnosis.
After trying three separate Honda dealerships in the DFW area, we've settled on David McDavid even though they are massively out of the way from where we live and work. CJ Bartle as a service consultant is the best you can get, anywhere. He goes the extra mile to make sure the service is performed quickly and correctly and with any applicable discounts or promotions of which we may not even be aware. The first time. Every time. As long as we own a Honda, this will be the only place we take our car.

If shopping via online and you are contacted by Erika about having the car you may be wasting your time. Erika E responded to my email request for a specific used Honda. She stated in her email to me that she had the vehicle and when could I arrive for a test drive. I left work and sat on toll road for over an hour. Arrived at dealership and Erika tells me they can't find the specific car we discussed but now she had another off brand she wanted me to test drive. NOPE not happening... good try for the "bait & switch" trick
I normally don't write reviews, but what I've experienced today persuaded me to do so. I went to get my oil changed and a small square plastic part replaced on my gas cap door. The service rep, Mike, said he would have both taken care off and was going to take about an hour and half to finish. I received a text at the beginning saying to text if I have any questions until the work on the car was finished. After an hour and thirty minutes passed, I texted Mike. But no answer. Then, I went to his desk to see if my car was done, and he said that he's called me and left a message, which he didn't. If I received the first text, I should have received the voice mail as well. He knew where I was sitting because he came and talked to another customer near where I was. On top of that, the gas cap door was NOT fixed, and he didn't even bother to mention that. When I asked him why it was not fixed, he said they don't have the part. I checked with parts, and they said they do have the part and it was only two bucks. Now, I have to come back and waste my time to have a two bucks part replaced while they could have easily replaced it while I was here to get my oil changed. This is absolutely professionalism gone to the drain!!! Let's see if owner/manager cares enough to contact me back about this....
Pretty Disappointed. Just purchased a a brand new Pilot Elite. They didn't have the color I wanted, so they got one from a sister store in Rockwall on thursday July, 5. We already had the deal in place and I was planning on signing papers friday morning. I was then told that in order to get the special .9% financing, I would have to come up there that evening and complete the transaction. I had to cancel some kids' activities, but it wasn't a huge issue. I now know, that this special interest rate is going on through September, so I guess they just wanted to close the deal that night and pressured me to make it up there. Smooth transaction, which was good because I needed to get home to attend to some family stuff. Upon delivery, I missed a small bit of damage on the underside plastic of the rear bumper. It was getting to be dusk, and we were under a canopy. I saw this the next day when pulling the car out of the garage in the sunlight. I immediately called my salesman, and he told me to bring it in Monday. Just got back from the dealer. They basically told me that since I missed it at delivery, it wasn't their responsibility. Car stickers for $50k and they won't help with a scratched bumper. Service was great until the deal was signed. This is a pretty big purchase for us and instead of being an exciting time, it's turned in to a big disappointment.
UPDATE: In response, I now know, that purchasing a new car from you will require the buyer to crawl under the rear bumper upon delivery to ensure that it hasn't been damaged, because once you have our signature, you are done and on to the next one. Had I picked the car up Friday as I would have preferred, and not forced to come up Thursday night because of the blatant financing lie I was told, I may have been able to see the scratches.
If I could give zero I would they got me into a car gave them the paperwork the dealer said a paper from my manager would work and I woke up to them towing my car and now being charged 500$ for that tow and don't get my trade in back.
Response to Honda. I did the things that my car salesman told me to do in order to rectify that situation because I had moved jobs to a better-paying job and still was completely screwed out of the whole situation I will never go to you guys and I will recommend it nobody goes to you guys. you guys took my car that I trade it in and sold it and then gave me half of what you guys bought my car for.

I have been a McDavid customer since 2004, after buying five Fords. I'm on my 9th vehicle from them at this point. I just took the latest, 2013 Accord Touring, in for it's first service. As usual, the experience was awesome. Ben is the latest service representative that helped me. The car was ready ahead of when they promised.
Each sales experience has been good. The McDavid team has always been up front and honest with their appraisals of my trade and the car I am buying.
This is our 3rd Accord. Honda has done an amazing job with this generation. Ride, fit and finish, and technology are great. This car has great gas mileage, the power of a V6, and a great compromise between handling and ride comfort.
Our other Honda is a Ridgeline. This is my second Ridgeline and I kick myself for trading the first one. This truck handles everything you can throw at it, is reliable, and rides great. Almost every weekend we are loading it with something and it has never disappointed. The rest of the week it shuttles kids back and forth in comfort.
It's going to be hard to give up the keys on the two cars we have now, but if I do, I'll be back to McDavid in Frisco.

Derick Heckel was able to service my Honda Civic after it was towed to McDavid Honda of Frisco without me having a prior service appointment. He recommended 4 new tires based on the sidewall damage and the worn tread of my other 3 tires. He was professional, customer service oriented, and kept me apprised of the maintenance/servicing of my vehicle during the entire process. I take all of my Honda vehicles to McDavid Honda of Frisco!

Since buying my 2016 HRV the end of July, I have taken it to Erick Hernandez, service advisor, in Frisco and he is the most pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful and patient advisor I've ever dealt with. He always explains things very clearly & takes very good care of my HRV too. I live in NM so when I come to town to visit family, I make any necessary appointments with him even if I have to drive from Ft Worth ... it's worth the drive!! There are no surprises when I deal with him. Thank you Erick for such great customer service!!
DON'T TRUST THEIR WORDS, they just try to exploit your situation and make business. I got one deal from another Honda dealer and when I told it to Honda McDavid, they guaranteed that they will meet the deal by $0-500.Just to make sure they won't get surprised with my deal, I told my deal in advance before coming there. Once I was there, after wasting a lot of my time they just said no and were not even willing to negotiate. (the Honda offer that I was looking for was available for that day only and they wasted my time so I can't go to other dealer and thus ensured that I had to buy it from them at whatever price they want. They just exploit customer's situation). I didn't expect that they won't stand on their own words. I just regret to waste my time trusting on them with the full mindset that I will buy the car today!

It was oil change service. Everything seems well but they forgot to put tire valve caps for two of the tires. I need to visit showroom or buy from autozone. Though it is not big deal but that is not right. I might think going to back to this place again.
Lost one of our Honda keys. just was able to get a new key programmed to the car the same day quite quickly. I was able to utilize the shuttle super quickly so I didn t have to wait in the lobby. Judy was an outstanding service advisor.
I always thought car services at dealership is overpriced and big rip-off. But after three engine service tours with this dealer and only charged me first service, even gave me the parts(1,300 value) free for the third visit, my wife is satisfied, and this is very very very hard to achieve. New rep Stephane did a great job explain everything, the nanager is great as well. The loaners are wonderful, make me thinking about getting a newer model, but of course, need wife's approval.
I came In for a regular schedule maintenance. My advisor Devon was very kind and responsive.

David Mc David Honda Frisco did a great job getting my wife's car serviced. It needed new struts in the rear as the right rear had started leaking. They provided quick scheduling, diagnosis, and repair. Cost was fair and we were treated well. Our service advisor Will kept us informed about everything in a timely and professional manner. He even applied a discount for an alignment that we were unaware of. Great experience!

I had an extremely pushy salesman (if I can find his card, I'll update with a name) that from the very beginning kept telling me (not asking or encourgaging, but telling me) I was buying the car I was test driving. On the way back after the test drive, I was telling him I had to leave and discuss it with my brother and he was having none of it. He told me to cancel my dinner plans, that I didn't need to have a second opinion, and that the car would disappear if I left. He even threatened to buy the car himself if I didn't pick it up soon.
My other issue was that the online listing I saw listed the car at ~$13k but the tag on the car when I test drove it said over $16k.
The sales manager was nice enough and didn't try to keep me from leaving after I made it clear I wanted to go, but the salesman definitely made me uncomfortable.

I just buy 2015 Honda CR-V from David mcdavid honda of Frisco. It s pretty nice car. I really like it. The staff is very cooperative. Mr Hajji took excellent care of me. He find a car for me according to my requirements and my budget. He is very nice guy. The manager and general manager are also very cooperative. I really want to recommend to everyone who want to buy used or new cars. I really like it.
