We bought a car from these guys late last year. Our salesman, Victor Berry, is AMAZING. We loved them and our experience so much, that we came back this week and traded in two of our other vehicles for new ones. Again, we only deal with Victor and I can't recommend him enough!! I am not a fan of salesman, but we love him and will only go through from him from here on out.
I also need to share some love for Gina Neely, the finance manager. She worked two AMAZING deals this week and as far as dealing with finance goes, we will only deal with her from here on out as well.

Made an appointment last Monday to inspect and fix the air bags recall. After 24 hours of keeping my car, the service rep name Erik Hernandez told me that they have to back order the required parts and it will be March or May 2015 before it arrives. He also told me that don't worry only couple of people has been killed in last 10 or so years and media is making a big deal out of this recall.
He also was trying to perform unnecessary service on my car. The service that was performed couple of month ago by David McDavid Honda. He was more interested to change my power steering fluid than fixing my air bag.
I went home and called Honda of America's customer service line and was told that this is a very serious problem and back order on parts should not take more than a week. I would like to know why David McDavid Honda hires people who are dishonest and lie to their customers. We have 3 Hondas in our household and I have always gone to David McDavid for repair and service. As of today, we will never step foot in David McDavid dealerships and I make sure all my friends and family who are also Honda owners know about this incident.

This store, and especially our salesperson, Ash, was fantastic, and they have made a lifelong customer with my husband and I. I will be telling anyone I know that this was hands down the most amazing, professional, and flat out kind dealership I have ever been to. I will be coming back for any future car purchases, and my large family is so very happy to have a reliable and super comfortable vehicle that we can truly trust, even with it being pre-owned! And the entire staff was incredibly courteous and made us feel like we were the most important people there despite purchasing on a weekend when they are at their absolute busiest! I have no complaints, concerns, or worries and will not go anywhere else having been to such a wonderful dealership!

Updated Review 05/17/19 : Dropped stars which is disappointing to me cause i had such a wonderful car buying experience. Service is slowly killing my trust with this place if i have any left. Scheduled an appointment on my only day off to go in for an oil change / oil change only. Pulled up to the dealership and noticed its under construction but looked like service was ok. Pulled in and identified myself and appointment time as well as informed the advisor i would like to wait while my oil change would be completed. I was told i needed to drop off the vehicle as the current wait time for an oil change is 3-4 hours. For just an oil change that is horrible. Im in the automotive industry and if my place of employment would turn down "scheduled" oil changes and tell the customer its a 3-4hr wait id be out a job. My first experience was less then delightful and thought it was a one time thing. Guess not, I would've understood if i was contacted before my appointment (which was 2hrs later then opening time) that they had fallen behind on service times and would've informed me of the wait this way i could've rescheduled instead of wasting my 30 mins to drive there when there is another honda dealer 5 mins from my house. I gave you guys a chance but if i cant even get oil changes done with you guys in a timely manner , i wont trust you for other services. Im not trying to bash , but being in the industry getting customers in for an oil change is top priority , its the easiest service and sets the foundation for building a relationship between business and customer.
Came in for oil change, although Saturday is not an ideal day to pick to come in I was serviced quickly for the amount of people there. Clean facility and friendly staff. Attentive to my request and actually listened when I stated no wash. Only gripe is that multiple porters got in the vehicle after service was completed, as if wanting to test drive my vehicle (joyride) but noticed I have a dash cam installed and quickly changed their minds about the test drive. I have dash cameras for these reasons , but makes you wonder if I didn t have one if they would ve taken the vehicle for a drive? .... other than that I m pleased with the visit

My experience here was pretty bad. One very green salesman who couldn't answer (or sometimes flat out ignored) the questions I had about the car, and was difficult to understand. The other more experienced salesman I worked with only seemed interested in talking about financing, before I had even taken a test drive or really talked about what vehicles I wanted to look at. In addition to this they kept me waiting around for a long time at random intervals and insisted I come in and meet the sales manager before I left, even though I made it clear I wasn't interested.

I started my new car leasing experience at a different Dallas Honda dealership and it was below a one star experience. I actually chatted with a David McDavid representative while I was at the other dealership. The representative was extremely helpful and helped me set up an appointment for the next Monday to look at the 2019 CRV. The same night I got a text message from my assigned sales person Ed Nogar confirming my appointment and the best way for us to communicate. This was all great but I was still hesitant after the way the other dealership treated me. On Monday morning, I received another text from Ed confirming my appointment for later in the day. I was able to move things around in my day so I text Ed to move my appointment up a few hours. He responded no problem and he would have my CRV waiting for me and if he was with a client he would make sure I was taken care of. When I arrived at David McDavid, still jaded from my other experience, I was greeted right away by Ed who informed me that he was still with a client but James Brown was going to help me. James was amazing! We went out to the new CRV that was waiting for me to look at and he was able to show me a handful of features on the car that I was unaware of even though I have done tons of research. From there all of my hesitation about the process went away. I was also turning in my current leased CRV with low miles. He was able to work out a great price on my current lease and hit the payment amount I wanted to pay on this car. There is not enough words to explain how smooth he made the process of turning in a lease and leasing a new car. I never felt pressured to buy the car or that I could not walk away. I would highly recommend purchasing your new car from David McDavid and James Brown.

Today I purchased a new Honda Accord from your Frisco location. This purchase experience was the best I've ever had and I have purchased approximately 11 vehicles in my lifetime. I have been working with David Alldredge (Internet Sales Consultant) since Thursday and his professionalism and sincerity were second to none. Once I was able to make a decision to purchase, the process was very quick and smooth. Refused to honor a written estimate they provided to repair a dent. When they wrote the estimate everything was fine, when I came back to have the work done they said the first written estimate was wrong and they would not honor it.
This was always a cash repair so insurance didn t figure into it at any point. Also to be clear, this was not a case of discovering hidden damage. Of course it would be totally reasonable to start working on a car and discover it needed more work, but that wasn t the case here. They just said the price was now ~$300 higher because the first written estimate was wrong.
It takes a lot of time and effort to get estimates, arrange to drop off your car, get a ride home, etc. So if a mistake was made who would you expect to pay for the trouble, the customer or the business who made the error?
I guess you could say this was only an estimate and they re allowed to change it at any time which is what they said. On one hand that s true. On the other hand, do you want to be a customer for a business where you have to wonder if the price is going to change out from under you?

The reason why i would go to big dealership is because i dont get ripped off. In this case i have to pay over 1000 $ to fix it.

They bent over backwards to get me the best deal. Our salesman was great. He is the best thing about David McDavid. Beware of the finance department trying to push an extended warranty. We had an issue with our certified vehicle day one. During the "certification process" this issue should have easily been caught. We spoke to the service manager and he could not give us a reason as to why this issue was missed. I assume this is because the certification process is a scam! Finally, after washing the vehicle once numerous scratches were revealed that were not obvious upon purchase. Very disappointed!

Angie's husband, John Weich, posting a review of the Service Dept. Took my 2018 Civic in on 10 October 2019 to have a noise checked that seemed to be related to the AC system. It turned out that the compressor needed to be replaced and was fortunately covered by warranty. Once again, Dylan Flatt did a fantastic job of getting my car in, repaired, and made sure it was completely checked out before returning it to me. He also had the loaner car set up for me when I arrived since we weren't sure how long it would take to determine the root cause of the problem. Dylan Flatt is always my "go to" person for the Service Adviser because he is professional, detail oriented, and always drives issues to a successful conclusion. He is a real asset to this dealership's Service Department. I have owned many cars over the years and have visited many dealerships, and Dylan is absolutely the best Service Adviser! It is a real pleasure working with him. To McDavid Honda - be sure to recognize Dylan for his outstanding efforts!

I was very please with Shoaib, he was very helpful and honest. He didn't try to over sell us and he worked within our budget. I was very please during the finances as well. He didn't pressure us to purchase extra things, but offered them. Everybody at Honda was kind and helpful. It was a long process, but we were out within the day with our new car! The only thing that would have been better, is if they offered a grace period of 1-2 days if we decided we didn t like the car. So far I love the car, but it would be nice to have the option. Overall, great people! Their cars are in good shape, and if they aren t, the people are honest with you.

I purchased a 2016 Touring Elite Odyssey for my wife 2 weeks ago. I contacted New Car Director Clyde Jacobs directly as we had purchased a 2013 Touring Elite Odyssey at McDavid and were interested in upgrading. I put my request to Mr. Jacobs via email and he promptly email me back and met my requests. My wife and I went to the dealership later that evening where Mr. Jacobs paired us with John Pomroy and we picked out the Odyssey she wanted. We went back the next morning and completed the transaction. Finance Manager Aaron Koronkiewicz handled our financing and paperwork quickly and easily and also assisted us in getting a great extended warranty at a fantastic price. We also dealt with Lexi who was assisting our salesperson John and met Pooyah who was a sales manager. Every person we came in contact with excellent and made sure we had a great experience. After our purchase, we needed to add some accessories and Julian Solorzano got us in the same day the parts arrived and had them installed in less than 2 hours. We couldn't be happier with our purchase! A job well done by the team at McDavid Honda in Frisco! My wife is thrilled and that makes me happy! Thank you.

Awesome service! The side button suddenly fell out of my gear shift on a Friday afternoon, making it difficult to shift gears! I drove straight to David McDavid to see if they could fix it before the weekend. They were busy, but took my CRV right away! They were knowledgeable and polite, and completed the work in less time than anticipated! They noticed my SUV was out of alignment, and offered me a discount to complete the work right away, since I hadn t planned on having service done, and had no coupons with me. I had noticed the alignment issue myself, so I know they were being honest about this service. They even replaced the battery in my key fob at no charge (coincidentally, my battery ran low that morning and I had a difficult time replacing the battery myself)! Shout out to Gannon Huey, who kept me informed every step of the way! I would definitely bring my Honda here again for service.

Chris Tiner is the best salesman, hands down. At a time when I needed someone to believe in me and my circumstance, he did just that. Actually from the moment I completed my credit app until the final step, I could depend on Chris 100% to have my best interest as a priority. I always felt that he had my back.
I know that it takes a team effort and that in my situation, the Finance department had to be creative to get the deal done. Although my income was above average, due to extenuating circumstances my credit score was very low. AND of course shopping around I received a lot of "No's" to financing. However, Chris never waivered in his belief that he and David McDavid Frisco Finance Department could work a deal for me. I was the skeptic but I was proven wrong. They met my terms at about 85% of what I wanted. The 15% that was not met was quickly remedied by Chris going to bat for me to get the dealership to fix a small cosmetic defect on the car's exterior, even though the car was sold "As Is".
It took us a few weeks due to attempting to match our schedules but Chris never faltered on his promise, he saw the repair through to the end. Not only did the Service department match my expectation but they went above an beyond and fixed something that I had not even asked for. I was thoroughly pleased with the finished product!
