The technicians that came to our house were knowledgeable, friendly and truthful. Nobody likes to buy a new ac/furnace but they gave us bad news, laid out our options and let us decide. I really appreciate their honesty. Also, they schedule us for the first available appointment so relief from the heat is coming soon!

Kurt M. was our service technician and did a great job. Every contact with Worthington Air was very positive. We don't have a humidifier and Kurt brought this to our attention and recommended a Honeywell model and another less-expensive humidifier that they can install. I really appreciated all his advice and work and would definitely call them again.

I will recommend C. W. A. to all of my neighborhood. Starting w/ Lee for the initial inspection to Joe Payne for potential products and prices to Rob and Winson for the installation, all of them were on time courteous, knowledgeable and went beyond what I could have reasonably expected. They made the entire process seamless and made me comfortable from start to cleaning up when finished and protecting my floors and carpeting through the process. Rob A. came out near the end of the day and assessed the issue, identified and repaired the trouble area and had our AC back up and running quickly! He then took the time to double check all the settings and levels and made sure we were all set before leaving. Everyone was terrific to work with. From Jaime who was honest enough to tell me the unit wasn t worth repairing to Delonte that helped me pick a replacement furnace and air conditioner. Ba and Ian arrive about an hour earlier than expected and went to work. They estimated 8 hours but finished well before that. They cleaned up afterward and were careful not to let my cat escape. Since buying my home, this is the only HVAC company I have used. I highly recommend them.

To get one that has similar Features has to be OEM. That part runs approximately $450.00 more. As it misses not a necessity, I am going to wait.

I recommend Columbus Worthington Air to my friends and family. Three years ago my husband was very ill with cancer and at home under Hospice care. It was a Sunday and our air conditioning went out and the temps in the house rose to almost 100 degrees. My husband could barely breath, I called Worthington Air and a service technician came immediately to fix the air. I will always appreciate what the company did for my husband did that day.

Wonderful experience with CWA, other than needing ...

Wonderful experience with CWA, other than needing a new furnace. They made the whole process informative and hassle free. From the Emergency response service call by Joshua, to the explanation of available options to replace my 20 year old furnace by Kurt, to completing the install by Tob C and Winson S.
The whole process took from Sunday at 1:30pm, when our furnace quit, to Monday at 2:00pm when the install was completed. 24 hrs and a new furnace and AC unit.
Thanks for the rapid response, education, and assistance to linking my furnace to my phone. You all are tops in my book.

We were very pleased with Kenny's style and expertise when inspecting our air conditioner. He showed me how to properly put a filter in as we had the old one in backward. He gave us advice on how often to replace it. He also hosed off our air conditioner and let me know how to keep it clean. My Air Conditioner stopped running because the circuits flipped. I called for service since I was unsure of why it had flipped and did not want to do damage to the system. Jamie T. Is who was sent to assess and fix my problem. He was personable, knowledgeable, and cared about doing the job right. He assessed my entire system during my A/C check and convinced me to plan on scheduling a furnace check with him in the fall by just doing his job. He wore booties to protect my house and explained what I should do if the issue happened in the future and I was unable to get immediate service. Excellent communication skills.

A friend referred Columbus Worthington Air over fifteen years ago. They have done all my HVAC work ever since. Almost ten years ago CWA completed my HVAC system replacement. I keep a yearly service contract with CWA to check and maintain the system.

The technicians have always been exceptional! clear explanation answering all questions, office communications and scheduling is great, office techs and customer are kept in sync, timely service, caring about your home, clear write-ups. now all digital with pictures and voice recorded to OCR in write ups.

AC service May 2021: during the service for air conditioning Jamie determined two issues. The coil had a slow leak and the outdoor unit capacitor needed. He showed me the readings related to the capacitor and triple checked to make sure the leak was in the coil. then, we went over options. During review of options it was determined that my equipment parts warrant was still active. between the warranty and my service contract the best option seemed to be to replacement. then, a clear estimate was made and agreed on.
The office called the next day to verify ( to order parts) and schedule service.
Two days later Trevor arrived on schedule to complete the service. He made sure to introduce himself. Made sure I was comfortable with him doing the work before proceeding. Then, walked though the site with me and explain what he would be doing. He made sure to let me know that he would engage me during the process to explain things, verify or answer any questions. I like that I can trust the technicians to pull me in as needed. That made me feel at ease asking questions whenever. My questions were answered clearly/positively.
value overall: I was very happy with the service, quality of work and the price quoted. The attention to detail and work completed was excellent. In addition, being on the service contract I had received a 50$ coupon that could be applied. thanks for making this a great experience! Paul L

Heater went out Sunday and Monday afternoon we were up and running. Dave (last initial lost), the service technician, was very prompt, as was Dan P, the salesman who came Sunday night. Tyler W and Nic J installed the heater and A/C. Everyone was professional and we did not feel pressured for anything extra. Everything was explained very well. At first I was a bit skeptical when only two insta...

At first I was a bit skeptical when only two installers showed up and wondered how they would manage it all in a day. But this team was very efficient and polite. They arrived on time and explained what they would be doing. I stayed out of their way and they took out the old furnace and AC and installed the new one efficiently and neatly. They were done by mid afternoon and had me walk through the work they has done. They had cleaned up so well that you couldnt really tell they had been there except for some prints in the snow outside. I particularly appreciated the boot covers they wore indoors and left my floors in clean condition. I should also mention that the humidifier that was recommended to me was immediately evident the very first night. I breathed and slept better.

I recently purchased my home knowing that furnace was quite old and most likely needed to be replaced. I was able to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning and the tech, Tim, that came out was amazing. He was there for almost an hour, taking his time and providing a detailed analysis of his findings when he was done. While I was expecting a negative report considering the age of the furnace, I wasn t expecting for him to report that the furnace hadn t been maintained in quite a few years. He was honest with us, gave us options and let us decide what was the best course of action to take.

We decided to see what new furnace options were out there & Tim called his sale rep, Mike, who was out to my property within the hour. Mike was informative, VERY knowledgeable, polite and not pushy at all. He walked through all of our options, and did not push anything he he thought we didn t need.

Overall, we had an incredible experience with Tim and Mike. I would highly recommend CWA for furnace & air conditioning needs. Thanks guys!

Drew C came out to our condo in response to our re...

Drew C came out to our condo in response to our request for an estimate for a replacement air conditioning unit, since our old unit was malfunctioning. Drew was very clear on how he explained the new unit would be more efficient and better suited to our needs than our current one. He also explained issues such as rebates offered by AEP that were built into the price of the unit and installation of said unit by Columbus Worthington Air. In addition, he explained the pros and cons of repairing the current unit versus replacing it.During this explanation Drew also mentioned the involvement of the furnace in the functioning of the air conditioning unit and hence the age and condition of the furnace was drawn into question. It because clear that it would be to our advantage to replace both the furnace and the air conditioning unit at the same time. While this would involve an initial increased financial outlay, the long term benefits in terms of decreased gas and electric bills due to the efficiency of the new unit would be substantial. Also, the financing offered at 0% for 12 months through the bank that Columbus Worthington Air worked with, was clearly a financial deal worth taking advantage of. Columbus Worthington Air and Drew facilitated every stage of the process of qualifying for the financing to make the process as smooth and as quick as possible. In less than 24 hours, our financing was approved and we had signed on for a new air conditioning unit and a new furnace.

Jeff C. and Andrew V were a two person team from Columbus Worthington Air assigned to replaced replace the air conditioning unit and the furnace at our condo that morning. As promised, the team member called ahead punctually to let me know that they were on their way. On arrival, Jeff concentrated on removing the old air conditioning unit and installing the new one while Andrew focused on doing the same with the furnace. Jeff and Andrew competently explained the process they were going to undertake during the day, to me and answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. A problem arose when it became clear that the new air conditioning unit was much larger than the old one and hence would not fit in the place where the old one had been placed. Jeff immediately brought this fact to my attention and explained the options for alternative placement to me. I obtained permission for the alternative placement from the condo association and Jeff was then able to proceed with the installation. However, since the new placement was some distance away from the originally anticipated placement, longer pipes, etc were now required that Jeff did not have with him. Jeff promptly placed a call to his headquarters and requested that the required items to delivered to him as soon as possible so he could proceed with the installation with a minimum of delay. This was done within a half hour. Jeff and Andrew displayed excellent levels of team work, efficiency, punctuality, competency, courtesy and an ability to quickly and efficiently solve unanticipated problems. They worked hard in the pouring rain all day to get the job done on time despite the unanticipated issues. In addition, they cleaned up the work areas completely of all debris and had taken care to use drop cloths before starting so that there were no muddy foot prints to clean up later. All the old equipment which had to be removed was taken away to be disposed off by Columbus Worthington Air, so that we, the homeowners, were not left with that hassle to deal with. I can say, with complete honesty, that we were totally satisfied with the job done by Columbus Worthington Air, and that Drew, Jeff and Andrew did a completely satisfactory job. We have no reservations in recommending Columbus Worthington Air to other homeowners looking for service providers in the heating and cooling area.

Dave Owens has been to my residence twice, first for a maintenance check and the yesterday, Sunday 6/24 for a repair. Dave is awesome. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very personable and friendly. On both occasions that he was here, he took extra time to explain how my heat pump works and how to work the controls on my thermostat, because I sometimes have issues with that. At any rate, I would give Dave Owens an A++ in absolutely every area of service and customer service. He is honestly one of the greatest serviceman to EVER come to my home, and I am not young! The technicians Adam Slone and Steven were courteous before and on arrival to my home. Adam was careful to focus in on the job at hand and gave me reassurance all would go well. He was open for questions if there were any from me. The techs worked cooperatively with one another; team effort was evident. When the job was finished I was invited to inspect the new furnace and air conditioner and received instruction on use of the thermostat. Overall i felt this company lived up to their reputation of being skilled and caring professionals in the HVAC field. Jamie was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He could not have been more helpful in explaining about how to run the fan and how little electricity it really uses. He found a loose wire during his inspection and fixed the problem that I was totally unaware I had with the heat pump. Overall, I could not have been more pleased with the service.

Needed a new furnace to replace our 21-year-old model. CWA was very responsive, had an inspection done quickly, showing me where the problems were. Had a salesman come very quickly to assess and go over the appropriate options. Crew came out the next day to install, completed in about 3 hours.

At all stages, CWA was very professional, explaining what they were doing and what they recommended and why. I appreciate the information and quick service.

The furnace ceased to function properly late in the evening during a very cold spell in February. I called Columbus Worthington Air for assistance. The following morning l checked back to see when the technician would be able to get here. Although it was a bit of a wait, the technician successfully identified the problem and said it would require obtaining a replacement part, which would be obtained the next morning. I received a message from the installing technician the following morning around 10:45. He showed up, took everything to the basement, and installed the new motor. Furnace is now working and returning our home to the warm and welcoming place we love. Thank you for your help and service!

Update #2: it s been several months since they rep...

Update #2: it s been several months since they repaired the issue of the hot air flowing into the furnace room. Since they fixed it, my gas bill has decreased substantially.

Update: we were contacted the day after making this review and scheduled for someone to come and fix the issue I have attached images of their craftsmanship. They built a transition to connect the furnace to the plenum and used copious amounts of sealant to try and fill the holes... it functions.

Original post: We had them install a furnace last year, all was well. Then we had them come and replace our 20 year old AC unit. The man who installed left a two-three inch gap between the furnace and the plenum and taped it poorly (which is not to code and the tape soon blew off, allowing heat to escape and fill the furnace room). I called and had someone come out from the service department, he said he would need to send some install guys and left. I waited several days, no call. So I called, explained the situation, was redirected to a manager's voicemail, left a voice message. A week goes by, I call again, I am once again asked to talk to someone on the install side and directed to another voice mail. It has now been three weeks with no call back. You installed something incorrectly and now will not even respond to several attempts to contact someone to fix this issue. We spent 4 grand alone on the furnace and several more on the AC... this is not acceptable. If I do not receive a call back I will go to the better business bureau to address this complaint/issue. - Jessica Lieber

Installers showed as scheduled and when they were ...

Installers showed as scheduled and when they were shown the location of system they said no problem even though there was still some water present. They started the process of removing the current system which included removing duct work to get into the crawl space where system was located. After the removeral then installation of new system they explained any thing different between the two systems. Before departing they insured anything removed was reinstalled and tested. Any questions I might have had were answered in a way to insure the information was understood by me. Their overall attention to detail was very professional showed one of the reasons way I came back to Columbus Worthington Air.

I've used their emergency service a few times, and they've had my AC back up and running in the heat of summer on the same day I call. We had our winter furnace inspection, part of our membership plan, and passed with flying colors. Rob was extremely thorough with the furnace: cleaned trap and sensors, adjusted hi fire and ensured the humidifier is working correctly. On top of that, he let my pup help supervise his work. CWA was a great find two years ago when our AC went out in our new home.

Kenny Ward was tech on call and came at 9:30pm to fix my moms AC. She is elderly and needed to have the air working especially with the warmer temperatures. Kenny was very professional and solved the problem quickly. Great company!

I called in order to get information regarding the...

I called in order to get information regarding the return side of the duct work system in my house. There is a single register on the second floor down a hallway from master bed and bathroom ,the room seems to stay much warmer than other areas of the house. My understanding is that the bed room door would need a very large door undercut or a transfer grill or a dedicated return , or some type of low resistance path returning air in order to balance the system. I spoke to a sales type person with limited information, and informed me that they do not do any work with the existing duct work and were unable to provide any information at any price. They were of course able to quote me new system install. Which is unbelievable to to put a brand new air handler in a house and not have the ability or the willingness to know , in any way how the rest of the system is functioning. An assessment and balancing of the existing duct system even a part of the installation of a new unit, is not something this air conditioning company is interested in or capable of doing.
