Holy cow, this place was a great find. The service was excellent, they really are knowledgeable and NOT PUSHY and they're beautiful showroom gave me so many design ideas! I got the lifetime delivery too so I can upgrade my formal next paycheck. just gotta get hubby's buy in. Flanner's being right there meant he could go look at geeky stuff while I took my time shopping. Love Colder's.

We needed a washing machine in a hurry, so we went out looking. Met Armando at the West Allis store. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up buying the units on the spot and were delivered two days later.
The delivery guys were super careful and professional. Couldn t have asked for better.

Decent price for Good Quality furniture & product, nice store and lay out. Our sales guy Sean was nice and helpful, I would suggest working with him when purchasing furniture. The delivery was fast, on time and got the items located in house to fit nicely. Would suggest Colder's to anyone looking for new furniture, TV or appliances. Very Pleased!

TERRIBLE WARRANTY PROGRAM!!!
We bought a loveseat in December 2019 and paid for the extended warranty. We had a rip in the right arm in February. I spent all day on the phone calling the 3rd party warranty center and being bounced back to Colder's service center (the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing). Then it took a few weeks before someone came out to take a picture of the damage and to say "yep, we have to order a whole new arm, not just repair the fabric". I understand everything was shut down due to COVID, but there was ZERO communication from Colder's saying when someone would be out to repair the loveseat. After many follow ups on my end and only 1 call back from Colder's, they had my repair scheduled. They couldn't give me a time frame or let me request a time, because, that's just what I need to do is block out my ENTIRE day. They call me the day before with a 2 hour window with the ABSOLUTE worst time for me. Between 2:00-4:00 (which is when I pick up my kids from school). They would not budge on changing the time unless I reschedule the repair. No way am I rescheduling because it is now coming to the end of October which this should have been taken care of in March or April! I will NEVER shop at Colder's again!!!!

Bought a couch and 1/2 chair combo. The couch was nice and it was a good price, the seams started to separate though after a couple years. I had paid for the 5 year warranty only to find out its honestly a sham and doesnt cover much of anything. Colders was nice to deal with and buying the couch was a smooth process but I feel cheated on the warranty. Do not waste your money on the warranty if you buy from Colders.

3 stars for Colders. 4.5 stars for the salesmen I worked with; Joe and Sean.

I ve been looking for a bedroom set for 2 years and gone to Colders a few times. I was surprised to see basically all the same options available each time I went. I would think they d update inventory once in a while.

I went to Colders in West Allis and worked with Joe and Sean. Both of whom are excellent salesmen. They were helpful but not pushy. Available but not hovering. They were patient with me and helped me explore numerous furniture configurations while figuring out the best price for me. They made it an enjoyable experience.

I am very disappointed in the service I have received from them today. I have been to Colders many of times. Have sent friends and family to them. I order a new washer and dryer for my family. I let them know at the time my payment was made that they did not have to remove anything. I was not home at the time of delivery and they had removed my old washer and dryer. I contacted the store who reached out to the delivery men to have them bring back what they were not suppose to take im the first place. The rep called me back and stated that she had spoken with them and they were bringing the washer and dryer back. When they returned to my home they were rude and very unprofessional. They told me they could not bring my old washer and dryer back in my home when they should have never removed it to start with. I expressed my issue to a rep on the phone who told me a manager would reach out to me. Have not been contacted at all. To receive this type of service from a place that i shop with for everything in my home make me very disappointed but the service I received today makes me not want to shop there at all.

When they came out to my home they did not ask anything. No one knew they had removed the old washer and dryer until after they did and had my dad come down to see that the new set was set up and working. But I learned a lesson and I just choose to go somewhere else going forward. The rudeness I received for y'all mistake is very unprofessional. Have a good day.

On May 22, 2020 we purchased a living room and bed...

On May 22, 2020 we purchased a living room and bedroom set with mattress. Everything is great with the exception of the mattress.
Within two nights, the mattress sank in so far it felt as though our rear ends were stuck in a hole with just our extremities hanging out over the edge. We went back to the store a week after it was delivered to provide the feedback. Thinking it was just a bad mattress, we worked with them to obtain a replacement and even spent $975 more to "upgrade" to what they guaranteed was their best of the line. We received the new mattress and again, within 2 nights, the exact same result. It's our opinion that the mattress brand is poor craftsmanship and we went back to the store to request a return/refund.
The manager advised that we would need to file a "claim" for a defective mattress and have someone come out and look at the mattress to see if it is indeed what they consider defective. Knowing the inspection procedure, the mattress isn't what industry standards would classify as "defective" since it does return to normal level when the body weight is off. That isn t our complaint but rather the issue is with the quality of the product.
He mentioned that they won t do anything unless the inspector determines it to be defective and in that case, they will just provide a replacement and not a refund. If it isn't defective, it's considered that it just isn t a good fit for our body comfort and that isn't a reason to return a product. I would disagree since our body won t know if the mattress quality is compatible to our body/spine alignment until sleeping on it. A 7-10 minute lay down in the middle of a showroom isn t what I would consider a proper test. We would just like someone to come and pick up our most recently purchased mattress and provide a refund but they won't honor that request. Poor business practices and not in best interest of the customer.

Recently moved into our forever home and wanted to do our first real furniture putchase: non-clearance/non-donated. Stopped into Colders just to look at prices and figure out what we wanted. Fell in love with a living room set and bedroom sets. Emmanuel was great! Helped us when we wanted help or had questions but allowed us to walk the entire store on our own. He wasn't pushy and tried to talk us into stuff we didn't want. He also wrote up everything in multiple ways to gives us the beat price. Will definitely be going back when we are in need of some more furniture

Enjoyed our experience at Colder's. Salesman was Armando and he was knowledgeable, friendly and most of all, gave us space and time to shop without hovering and pressuring us to buy. Delivery was on time and the guys were great. In and out quickly and with minimal fuss. Would highly recommend Colder's.

Stopped in last night and was helped by Pinto, and it was a great buying experience. The best furniture buying experience I have ever had.

The furniture quality was a lot better than some of the other local store options. Pinto was very helpful in showing my girlfriend and I some options and then giving us some space to allow us to talk and make the right decision.

In the end the Double Bucks Deal was the answer, and Pinto helped us upgrade our Living Room and Bedroom!

I would 100% recommend asking for Pinto next time you stop in!

Salesman Fred was wonderful. None of the sale people are pushy or intrusive, which we appreciated.
But the follow to get the second piece that was supposed to be at the West Allis location for pick up the next day was sketchy. I had to call 3 times and never got a call back as promised on my second call.

I couldn't be happier with my experience. Mr. Pinto, your sales person, was extremely helpful in showing me products that suited my needs. Great understanding of what was available, what was suitable and even showed me a product I had not considered. That product was what we purchased. He was very efficient as well in tying up the transaction. Great communication skills! The delivery guys were excellent too. They called ahead as expected and arrived within the delivery window. They set up the piece and demonstrated the features for us. Very thorough. Very efficient. On time! WOW!

Never never never again in my life will I buy anyt...

Never never never again in my life will I buy anything here again. My experience in the store was satisfactory. But when it came time for my chair to arrive it was on back order and no one told me. Customer service was a joke. They were completely clueless and never was able to confirm when or where my chair was. It sounded like a guessing game and so frustrating it is not worth the experience.

I went to a few places looking for a new refrigerator. There was either very poor service or no service at all in most of them. As soon as I walked into the front door at Colder's, I received immediate helpful and friendly service. Next time I need something I am going straight to Colder's.

A week after Mother's day I bought a Maytag washer from Colder's. I rented a pickup truck and went to West Allis to get my mom her we'll deserved gift. I shopped and review online for a week. Colder's prices were unmatched with the washer I picked. Service was quick and there was no pressure to buy more or upgrade. A week later. Friday 5/22/20 I picked up the matching dryer. I was in and out in 15 minutes. Great staff, very safe and clean environment, most of all prices that won't hurt the budget. Though the Maytag set comes with a 10yr. warranty I purchase the additional warranty, covering parts and labor for five years. That was well worth the peace of mine for my Mom.

Thanks to all the staff including Oakcreek and West Allis sales guys.
You people rock. And they are family owned.

Great sales staff, unlike Steinhafels a new salesman isn't breathing down your shoulder every time you enter a new room. We purchased a custom made England couch here for about $1,300 with upgrades in the late summer/early fall of 2018 and were very pleased. The only reason I gave them 3 stars is because the fabric on our couch has begun ripping. It is only the two of us: no kids, no pets, and we have had the couch for not even 18 months and we called in to see what they would do for us on repairs. While service was fantastic when we bought it it went downhill after we purchased it. I have been thrown in multiple circles and never given a direct answer and surprisingly the gal that was helping me resolve the issue quit. So while we thought the problem was being rectified noting ever happened. All in all a great store, but in terms of getting answers on repairs to your furniture they tune you out.

Our salesman (Colin R.) was incredibly patient with us as we visited the store three times testing mattresses before finally making our bedroom purchase. He worked to find us the most competitive price and earned our business. The delivery guys were all very professional and courteous. They ensured the products met our satisfaction before having us sign off on the delivery. The notifications and ability to track our deliveries were awesome! In both cases they arrived within 20 minutes of their ETA. Well done Colders team!!!

We purchased our daughters bedroom set on Black Fr...

We purchased our daughters bedroom set on Black Friday. They were waiting for the bed to come in before they would deliver it. It was expected to be in January 4th. As it got closer we called to see if we were still on target. We were told it wouldn't be in until January 14th.

A few days later we purchased 2 living room sets during their New Years Sale. Those were scheduled to be delivered January 25th.

We called a few days before the bedroom set was scheduled to be delivered and we were told that it wasn't scheduled to be delivered until the 25th. They were now waiting for the dresser (which was there when we originally ordered). The sales guy who took our order for the couches didn't split our order correctly so the dresser that was in stock was now sold.

Our couches came in a little early so everything was finally delivered a week early. To top off everything, I was transferring things into our end table and the drawer was broke. It wasn't anything I was able to fix so we called ahead and told them we were coming in to exchange it. Even though my husband called they were not proactive in putting it together. They started assembling it as my husband stood there. Finally as they were almost done a supervisor walks by and tells them they have the legs on upside down. Sick of waiting, he left and came back the next day. Since it had the same issue as our original end table we received we left it there and opted for a refund.

We haven't really had issues like this with Colder's in the past so it was rather disappointing.

I needed my purchases quickly and was able to get delivery set up in 2 days since thankfully everything I wanted was in stock. Delivery men were quick, capable & courteous, overall 5-star experience.

Our salesman when we bought our couch didn't explain anything about our factory warranty. He was more interested in selling us the 5 year warranty that he claimed "covered everything". After just a few months, one of the cushions went flat. We waited a while before we talked to them about getting it fixed. Now the manufacturer warranty, that we didn't even know existed, is expired. It took me about 2 months and a lot of complaining and finally got it fixed. While the tech was fixing the couch, he took pictures of a rip he noticed to see if that was covered by our 5 year warranty. About a week later, someone left me a voicemail to let me know that the rip isn't covered by the 5 year warranty that apparently covers everything.... EXCEPT WHATEVER YOU NEED FIXED!!

I went in for the promotion get $2 for every $1. Worst mistake ever! The prices were set extremely high. I bought a king size mattress for about $2750 it was supposed to be a plush mattress, when the mattress was delivered it was a firm mattress. I realized something was wrong but I was giving the mattress the benefit of doubt...maybe it needed to be broken in and it would soften up! Boy was I wrong! Called Colder's 2 days later and told them that this wasn't the mattress I ordered...I ordered a plush and this mattress was hard as a rock. I was told I'd have to wait until the sales associate came in to see if it was her mistake or mine before they could do anything. I asked to speak to a manager in which I was given the runaround about that for about a hour. He never called nor did the sales associate. Maybe someone had a guilty conscience or something. Colder's has a no exchange or refund policy on mattresses which should be made clear as day at the time of purchase which I feel was not done! Fast forward about 5 and a half weeks I still have received part of my order. So when I called today I was told it was on back order until June and it was just updated in the system. So I received no phone call about that change. I was told again I would have to wait for my sales associate to call me once again to see what can be done about this incident! COLDER'S WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN! I WISH I COULD HAVE NEGATIVE 5 STARS

My husband and I went to colders and bought our very first brand new sectional with the help from Tricia. She was very patient and and gave us many choices to choose from our price range we were looking at. I only gave it 3 star because we were told she would contact us once our other side to the sectional comes in which will be within 1 week to 2 weeks. As we waited we called back to colders to check in within 1 week and a half. They said they still have receieved our other half to our sectional so we decided to wait until a full 2 weeks. Called today after the full 2 weeks just to find out we were already able to pick it up march 1st. We never received a confirmation nor a call to confirm pick up. It truly was a disappointment although we had a good experience we wish they would stay on top of letting us know about when our couch arrived.

Colder's is consistently running promotions in the...

Colder's is consistently running promotions in the vein of "get $2 in credit for every $1 you spend". This makes it seem like they have huge sales going on all the time or that you are getting more furniture for your money.

In actuality, Colder's list prices are so much higher than other comparable furniture chains in the area that you aren't saving any money at all and in many cases you are paying more per item than you would somewhere else, even when you take into account the store credit you get for your purchase.

Furniture quality seems about average, but few things feel like they are of a quality that merits the uncomfortably high prices.

Service seems good and not overly pushy for a furniture store, so no complaints there.

I've been here twice, as I wanted to give it a second shot after my first experience, but I felt the same way after both visits. Their commercials are irritating and their prices are confusing and too high for the quality of furniture on their floor.

We purchased a large sectional and a coffee table/trunk on January 1, 2020. Everything went great and smooth with the sectional, was delivered on time one week after purchase in good condition and couldn't be happier.

The trunk has been a totally different story. The day they were supposed to deliver it they called and said there were some "minor imperfections" so it was going to the woodworking shop. They said they'd call and deliver asap.

Over the next couple weeks, I had to call twice because they never did, finally they delivered the trunk damaged! What was the point of sending it to woodworking if you were going to deliver it broken anyways?

So I called immediately, and they said they were going to order the new hinge right away and then have someone come out to replace it. And of course they would call me they say. They have still never called me, I have called twice to check on the status and still no hinge on... It is February 16th!

This is really unacceptable and I couldn't be more displeased in how terrible they handle this kind of situation. They are just hoping I'll finally give up and stop calling I get the impression. This is really unacceptable, and is terrible customer service.

The people there are nice but colders implements an old model of sales commissions, so salespeople are always on top of you.

With that being said they do have a large selection. But quality is hit or miss. Overall prices are very expensive for what you get.

Horrible customer service all round. We initially went in the day before Labor Day to buy a sectional and a bed. We were told by Tim that he would be right back to help us and then never came back. We came back on Labor Day and met Emmanuel. Service was great he told us that our items would be delivered within three weeks or earlier. I by fluke happened to call yesterday just to see what the cancellation policy was. The first customer service representative kept telling me that special orders take 8 weeks. There would be no refund because our sectional was custom ordered She became short with me and argumentative. I asked for her manager and I was disconnected irritated, I called later and spoke to Justin. I told him what I had explained earlier and he told me that my items were not ordered until today(two weeks later) I was upset and asked why and his response he s just trying to help and I m being rude. Yes a customer service representative did say this to me. I spoke with John the manager and he also could not explain why my furniture order was place two weeks late. No one called us to tell us there would be a delay in ordering Unbelievable. Finally Susan called and told me my order was canceled but offered me free delivery for the first week in October. To me free delivery is nothing, simply because we have to now rearrange our schedules to meet their needs. We would prefer to pick up our items on our available time and not wait for them. She did tell me that Justin apologized however that means nothing to me either I spent approximately $3k at their store, they screwed up and did not communicate with us, and I m rude. Sue also indicated that she didn t have to call me today. She could have left the order cancelled. So she did me a favor? Or did she try to save the sale? I told her she needed to offer more and she said she would get back to me. As of now I have no idea if my order is canceled, there s no money in my bank account, and I have no written confirmation of cancellation. Be careful who you deal with. I don t trust these guys.

After several hours of shopping at other furniture...

After several hours of shopping at other furniture stores, we were welcomed at Colders by Fred Henry in sales. Fred guided us through the areas we were interested in. He never pressured us or tried to sell us on the best, most expensive piece. He listened to us and made suggestions to help us make an informed decision. He was very relatable and funny. We also feel like we got a good deal. Which is always a great way to leave a store.

We will always look for Fred at Colders when we are in the market for new furniture.

Good experience, good service. Everyone made sure I was helped up front. However on my pickup today there was a really rude person in receiving. I work in the customer service industry and that's not how you treat people. That guy would be canned in a heart beat if he were by me!
