mum does not live near the dealer but she have been getting it serviced for past 18 months. She likes the people and they look after her.
We did get one service from local garage closer to home , and the cost was not that much cheaper so would prefer to use the dealer and get a bit more confidence in the service etc. Overall- very happy - mum is happy. Would recommend city ford

no stars from me. It took over one month to get someone to pick up the phone. On hold for over 30 minutes, then the phone goes dead. After sales service sucks, NOT friendly, NOT helpful. Air con shouldnt die after 3 years conveniently just after warranty. No one returns emails, phone calls, advertising is all BS. No courtesy bus when I was told there was. Wished Id never bought a FORD. One Star for Bonnie who drove me to Pyrmont. Thank you Bonnie, they should listen to you.
Parents bought a new car from them, took their car for schedule servicing 3 times since purchase and even after telling them problems with the car they found nothing wrong. After moving to QLD took the car for service and little be hold the car was recalled for engine problems over a year ago. Don't waste your time and money with them.
The service is really good everytime. They would ask your approval to replace things and helped me understand what exactly the function is (coz I don t really know about car). The most exiting thing is they gave me a very good replacement car. City Ford always offers the high quality service but honestly ford has too many problems and have to pay a lot to fix it.

Excellent service - I recently purchased a vehicle from Ford Zetland and experienced the welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable staff during the experience.
Andrew Lippett the sales consultant facilitated a test drive of the car as well as spending significant time discussing the vehicle and other options - he was friendly, knowledgeable and was quite certainly a factor in my purchase of the car.
Courtney Menzies the business manager facilitated the financials of the purchase and provided equally friendly service with diligence and efficiency. The process of purchasing the cars was completed in only a few days with a test drive on Saturday and a pick up of the car on Tuesday.
Ali, Gus, Natalie and Alek completed the team and made for a great experience in buying and receiving a new car. All staff I was in contact with were a pleasure to deal with - Andrew and Courtney especially.

I have been here twice now to get my girlfriends car serviced and both times they have gone above and beyond for us. The first visit, they always kept me up to date with what was being done and provided me with a quote prior to starting work.
The second visit they were waiting with a hire car and provided and honest run down of what needed to be fixed now vs what could wait and it saved me alot of $$$. Not to mention that they made efforts to ensure the work carried out cost less than quoted.

Just bought a Ford Focus from the friendly staff here who were knowledgeable on the cars features and history. They were also very responsive and generous when resolving a minor detail with the vehicle (not their fault) which I found after picking it up. Couldn't recommend them more!

City Ford must be great in servicing and repairing but my experience in buying a new car has been mediocre and unremarkable.
I visited the dealership on a Friday (great selling by the sales person) and decided to purchase a brand new vehicle; singed the contract, paid the deposit and enquired for financing. I was told I would receive financing quote via email that same day.
Nothing came so on Monday morning I called, re-explained my purchase and got promised a quote in a matter of minutes. Nothing. Called again at midday and re-explained again, but still nothing. Called a third time in the afternoon, re-explained the whole thing again despite speaking to the same person all 4 times and finally I got the quote in the form of an email saying Hey and 3 numbers. Rate, repayment and months. Not a thank you nor an acknowledgement of purchasing a new car. Then I was told to collect the car on Wednesday. Being a bit of a special moment I brought my family and got to dealer in the afternoon. The car was not even registered and nobody thought of calling me during the day; wasted half day of annual leave and left unimpressed.
So all in all I felt irrelevant to them and the buying a new car experience has been so unremarkable I have better memories of shopping at a groceries store.
Seriously the best dealership, I have ever dealt with. Bryan in Service is a true gentleman.

I took my Kuga for the yearly service and I was welcomed by Arzan Irani. He was very clear and detailed in explaining the whole process to me. I mentioned that the aircon system was making a funny noise and he said that he was going to look it and call me for any update. As promised he rang me in the afternoon and said that there was a whole in the condenser and it needed to be replaced. Obviously it wasn't a great news for me as the entire replacement was around $1500. However considering my warranty was just expired, Arzan was very understanding and he spoke to Ford. He rang me back again saying that he managed to get the condenser (not the labor) paid by the factory. I believe he went above and beyond by excelling in customer service.
I bought my Kuga at City Ford and I've always took it there for service. After this experience, I will surely recommend them to all of my friends.

I have experienced professional service at this establishment. Prior to my recent visit for an ongoing issue with my Ford with the Eco stop start function. I received poor service from the Ford dealer that was not interested in after sales service in the Sutherland shire. They insisted it was repaired on the last visit which it had not despite them having the car for a protracted period of time. For further investigation it would be almost $200.00 an hour for the diagnostic investigation then another $55.00 a day for a loan car. The City Ford dealership had my car for two days and it appears they have located the fault and repaired same. However, if that proves not to be the case I have been advised I can return the vehicle for further investigation, despite the fact that I did not purchase my vehicle from City Ford I purchased it in the Sutherland shire. I recommend City Ford if you require professional service, a realistic approach and technicians who listen to what your issues are. I am at the point that I would not consider purchasing another Ford or recommending a Ford to others, although City Ford has gone a long way to altering my previous poor attitude to the entire fleet. Recently bought my car in for a service at the new location in Alexandria. The new facility looks amazing and it was easy to find with plenty of spaced compared to the old joint. I was directed to pull my car into a service bay at the front and when I got out I was welcomed by name and a team on staff immediately began working on my car, it was like a pit stop. I was assisted by a staff member called Adrian, ask for him by name because he delivered the highest level of service I have received in a long time. Ford give this guy a raise!!!!
Excellent service for the 2 month / 3,000 km complimentary check on my Ranger. Took less than an hour and very smooth process. I asked not to wash the car as it was getting PPF clear wrapping the following Monday and they listened. Cheers guys!

Would not purchase from this dealership again. Car was not ready for collection on agreed upon time (After money cleared days earlier), sales rep did not introduce himself. Damage was discovered on collection and manager was very aggressive, slamming fist down on table, speaking over the top of us and claimed he quit and left. He turned up again after we had signed the paperwork. Not to be trusted.

towed my van here, boy was that a mistake. $8500 quote for a full replacement of fuel system. $450 to get it out of there for a diagnosis that told me what i'd googled from a ford chat forum. "something to do with the fuel system" - lets rip it all out say city ford.... Took it to Auto Service Central in Botany and paid $200 for a new fuel filter that had an air leak!
if you're unlucky to own a ford and need a warranty service - great, bring it here - you got no choice. for anything else - take it to a real mechanic that wont look to rob you and who takes a complex looking job step by step!

Trying to buy a new Focus ST at City Ford was a nightmare. I arrived just after 3.30pm Sunday afternoon. I waited over 30 minutes, watching three salesmen ignore me. The fourth a young salesman was assisting the only other customers in the showroom. The others chatted to themselves, were texting, talking on their phones. I opened the vehicle I was interested in sat in the car, opened all of the doors still nothing. I went to the central sales counter and waited still no luck, moving backwards and forwards between both.
Whilst trying to gain a salesman s attention I noticed my 13 years old son laying on the floor holding his head. There are a set of stairs in the middle of the showroom when combined with poor positioning of the vehicles is extremely dangerous. My son lent over looking in the window of a car then stood up cracking the back of his skull on a steel beam, (the frame of the stairs). He laid on the ground for a few minutes whilst I checked if he was concussed then assisted him to his feet and regain his composure. The young salesman whilst assisting the other customers did make comment whilst walking past, in a supportive way, acknowledging how much it hurts, suggesting he had done it himself and that it has happened before to others. The stairs which are at shoulder height, dangerous, are not marked in an appropriate way.
I walked my son to the customer lounge area gave him some water. Once he was comfortable I tried to gain assistance again.
I literally had to confront a salesman to express my interest in the vehicle. He responded by explaining it now too late we are closing soon I can't help you will have to come back during the week. I asked for a business card, he said yes, however left me at the sales counter and did not return. As I was about to walk out in disgust the young salesman assisted by providing me with the other salesman's business card.
I have purchased five new cars, each purchase being a positive experience. This would have been my first Ford, what a nightmare.

I m super happy with Ford for the whole experience, from the day I bought my Mustang through to the customer service I receive every time I visit them.
I get a phone call around service time making it easy for me. Never forget a service again. Then I get a loan car, a newer model than what I m currently driving. I drive in and get valet service, a discussion around how my car is going and any changes I need/want and problems encountered. They then take my car, do the work and call before any repairs are completed to discuss pricing.
My service required parts from Melbourne overnight, but that s ok as I keep the loan car until then - another friendly phone call and what I see as a big part of the customer driven experience offered by city Ford!
Friendly staff, clean garage, brilliant service, great pricing (price match on parts etc) and an easy, stress free experience!

Got my car service done here and just realised after several weeks that your people unplugged the power to my dashcam. Makes me wonder what they were doing in the "test drive". It might be a Ford but you do not own the car and your staff have no right to change sh*t around in my car that is not related to the service. They did not even have the decency to plug it back in which means I've been driving around with no dashcam. If I was involved in an accident during that time I would've had no proof of third party fault. Don't touch the customer's belongings!
Terrible people. They tried to take advantage of a friend with a mental health issue from years of community service just to get their commission. Showed absolutely no remorse. Do not deal with this Group or any of it's dealers.
I would like to thank John at City Ford for going beyond what I would expect from a Ford dealership or any other car dealership. I dropped my vehicle off and received my courtesy vehicle and to my surprise received a awesome Mustang which my date and I thoroughly enjoyed for a couple of days.
I have a local Ford dealer, but find City Ford to always be courteous and friendly and don't have to book to far in advance like other dealerships.
Will continue to have my car serviced there. Highly recommended them if your looking for a dealership that offers that great customer service you are searching for.
