City Ford Sydney Review

Plenty people said this centre is good.

However, I tried once. I talk to the manager names Alex, he is friendly and seems good to talk to.

When I try to settle down the deal, he sent me to another person names John.

That's the worst sales person I've ever met.

Anyway, the dealing ended up in halfway, because even no way to continue.

I don't know other people's opinion, perhaps they met the right person?

Oh, by the way, they don't have used car centre, all new car. So if you want trade in, I guess you have to wait at least 1 hour. They will busy in contact the used car dealer to estimate your car price. Want a good price for your old car? Ha, you are dreaming.

You think it worth $10, they would give you $6-7, because their checking, is so fussy.

I dealt with John in the service department and found him to be attentive and professional in dealing with servicing my car.

Margaret at City Ford Alexandria was fantastic! So exciting unveiling a brand new car! Everything was well explained. A great experience!

I recently bought a ford Raptor from city ford in Alexandria, I went straight to the reception desk. I was met by a beautiful kind and bubbly young lady Georgia-Rose, Georgia introduced me to Alek in the sales team, he was exceptional in providing me a ford raptor with all the extras that i needed for my trade and had done that in such a short amount of time. Whilst on the phone getting finance with the usual finance company i deal with, a lovely young lady by the name of Olivia approached and like many i wanted to see if she can get me a better deal than my usual broker. Not only did she get me such an awesome rate, she also beat my usual comprehensive insurance company by $2000 p.a. A bottle of SHIRAZ is headed her way !
A big thankyou to Georgia-Rose, Alek and Olivia for taking the time to make the experience in buying my new raptor such a pleasurable one, i will definitely refer you guys to all my family and friends, cheers guys !

Took my van into service was given a price that was reasonable for the jobs carried out

Professional and timely with all the issues at hand giving me updates as they came to him
Was offered a lone vehicle duration of the time it was in the shop to help me out by John

Very happy with today's service at City Ford Alexandria. My loan car was brand new and the service was completed early and as specified.

I placed an order on a focus rs late February and got the actual car late July. When I placed the order, I had some issue with the general manager and left a 1 star Google review.

Now, I change it into 5 star because when I pick up the car, I felt respect from the sales manager and the sales person. And I promised them to change the review for a excellent customer service.

Overall, the car is amazing and there are some good people in City Ford which I really appreciate.

I bought a Ford Fiesta from the Zetland showroom about 4 years ago & had a great experience that day. I was over the moon to have bought this car, i got a good deal & was raving about my car to my friends! The service since then has been terrible & has unfortunately, completely changed my opinion of Ford.

In the 4 years i have had my car this has happened.

After 2nd service, thick white smoke started to come out of my exhaust, my car started shuddering & i had to pull over on the freeway & wait for someone from Ford to come and get me. My car had to go back for another day to get fixed.

A few months later, the gear box was very noisy. I was told to take it back in to get it replaced, it was there for 4 days & when i got it back & it sounded exactly the same. I called them & (short version of the story) turns out they didn't do ANY work on my car during those 4 days! The part they needed hadn't even arrived in! So i had to take it back in for another 4 days.

And now my log book is nowhere in my car ( i haven't touched it, ever) & they have told me that i have to buy a new one. After they lost it. Unbelievable.

The staff in the service department at the Zetland location have no people skills (except Bryce, he is helpful! Not sure if he still works there. He was only there filling in while someone was away) & are extremely unhelpful if anything goes wrong. I would never buy a car from Ford again or recommend it to anyone.

I now take my car the the Ford Rockdale service centre. They are more thorough with their services & a little more helpful with their customer service.

Super efficient and professional. Will definitely be using these guys to service my cars again and again!!

City Ford, gave daily updates and tracking of the vehicle and progress of the sale and hand over of the vehicle. Not only did City Ford provide great service and fair trade they proceeded to hand deliver the vehicle to my office, which is a 30 minute drive.

From 1st contact I felt like a million dollar customer, even though my car was in the lower price bracket. Sam and Courtney were faultless in their behaviour and treatment of me and not pushy at all. The extra touches, like a big blue bow on my car when I went to pick it up, made me feel special and valued as a customer. We will be upgrading our other car next year and we will come back to City Ford.

I would just like to thank city ford and there team, especially Arzan. We had trouble with our gear box on our ford ranger. From the minute i pulled up they where straight on to me. Discussing the problem with Arzan who got a mechanic to come for a drive with myself to show him the problem i was having. They took my ranger to test it on there computer and found the gear box needed replacing They keep in contact with me and had my Ranger back on the road with a new gear box within in a week. I love my Ford Ranger and appreciate the service i got. Thanks very much . Would recommend to anyone

Went in to buy a Ford Titanium. Ignored by sales staff as they talked to each other for a good 20mins. Finally got ones attention and he tells me that I can't test drive the car because they don't have one but I can test drive the bottom of the line one if I want - why would I do that if I want to spend $15k more?!? You should be trying to upsell me! Told me it would be weeks for me to test drive the car etc, despite them having one on the floor that had been driven because it had several KM's on it - 26 to be exact. Walked out vowing never to return.

BTW, you lost out on 3 cash sales in this transaction, hope you guys make your targets this month but with that kind of attitude towards customers you probably won't!!!

Disgusted with Ford itself as my Ford Focus has the transmission problem that so many others have. It takes MY time, MY energy, MY cost to take this car for adjustment every six months. Ford should have recalled these cars or at least been prepared to offer a courtesy car for free when my car has to have this transmission problem adjusted.

This Ford is awesome. They took my car in within a days notice for warranty service and provided me with the same model car as a loan vehicle. Great service and very organised!

I got my car serviced and dealt with Adrian as my customer service representative. Adrian was very helpful and answered all my questions. The car was serviced while I waited and it didn't take that long. I will definitely take it back for another service and will ask for Adrian.

Had my car serviced last week and was very happy. Adrian was very helpful, he had great knowledge of my vehicle!

We had our car on for its 45000k service today. Fantastic service, i only called yesterday for the booking and they fitted me in the very next day, with a free loan car. They kept me updated every step of the way and even gave it a wash.
5 star service.

I've bought over 10 vehicles with these guys and they have always accommodated. Even with the lack of available stock during the pandemic they have always endured to find a way to service us. Their fleet & financing department are helpful, and prompt in delivery. They make it hard to shop around when they provide such convenience..

Terrible customer service,staff does not acknowledge when you walk in.
Had a very bad experience.
Had to wait for about a week to know whether my car was approved for repair and I never received a phone call from the guy a dealt with... when the car was actually approved for repair by Ford.
I definitely won t go back there anymore.
I love Ford but I felt I wasn t considered a loyal customer after 7 years that I go to the same dealership.
This place used to be good but after they change some of the staff at the service department it s not the same anymore.

Just brought a brand new car for the first time i had been shopping around and for a while, city ford at Alexander beat all the other car dealers i went to by alot, the team at City Ford was so professional and made my first time experience there so enjoyable, laura in sales made the process so easy for me understand and Olivia in finance talked me through the financial part step by step if anyone is in the market to buy a new car or ute i highly recommend them if it wasn't for them i would be probably be still looking for a car and still driving my old bomb around. Service experience was horrible. Difficult to drop car off and found items not wrong with the car as a second opinion told us the $4,000 quote were for items not broken or requiring repairs. Feel like I was taken for a ride, very expensive and dishonest. The car is just out of warranty.

The staff are very helpful and professional. They kept me informed of any changes to my service and gained permission before proceeding.

The repairs and service I got on my car was 5 Star. The car drives like it is brand new, and the patience and service I got from John C was fantastic!

Firstly wouldnt even give 1 star to this place....Talked a lot of crap to sell us the car , we were told we didnt have our 3mth 5000km warranty but fair trading said we were entitled to it..
They tried to rip us with our warranty booklet giving us the $1000 coverage when it was supposed to be the $3000..
I got hung up on multiple times day after day trying to sort out stuff with the car "after we bought it" we were told we could use ford down home to get any warranty work done , only to find out we have to drive all the way back up there if we need anything done through the 5000km warranty through them....
They tried ever excuse to get us to use the warranty booklet instead of using the 5000km warranty through them and now 4 weeks later we are still trying to get stuff fixed through them..
This is the worst car yard ive ever bought from by far....
My advice is theres 100s of car yards out there dont make the same mistake i did and believe any of the crap that comes out their mouth..cheers

Recommend booking a loan car in advance as service can take upto half a day. It would also help if your staff smiled as part of standard customer service. The service came below estimate and good.

Second time I ve used Danny and the Team at City Ford, and both times found them helpful, professional and courteous. Danny was very thorough in his investigation to determine the issue I was having with my vehicle and prompt in rectifying it once found! I Will definitely use them again!

High level upselling. they refused to release my car, wanted me to pay them 4k. It drove fine going there, no indication of any problems. My regular mechanic today fixed the problem for $300! Thieves!

Very bad service, aircon broken for 5 times (back and forth for 9 times and had more than 50 days I have no aircon) for a brand new Mustang for 15000km, and the response is: we can try fix again or you can sell to us at a trad in price.

Every time I ask them to check again wether it is ok to go they say they yes (once said 110% sure), so frustrated and so time consuming.

Just picked up a Focus for my daughter from Dave, go see these guys.
Easy no fuss transaction, car was clean and full tank of fuel.

If you are buying a new car, it s a must to speak to Grant Cockburn. He will talk you through the whole process (not just until you have made your payment), he is an excellent communicator and will actually help you through every step. He even chased up the truck company who were slow making their delivery and I felt he went well above what a regular salesperson would. He honestly cared about the sale. Highly recommended.

Terrible people. They tried to take advantage of a friend with a mental health issue from years of community service just to get their commission. Showed absolutely no remorse. Do not deal with this Group or any of it's dealers.

I bought my Escape in 2011 from City Ford at Zetland, the sales service was great. I have taken it back here for all its regular services and have always had any questions and concerns addressed and answered. I have always found the staff polite, prompt and my car has been always been well looked after. I will continue to have it serviced here.
