The unnecessary scaremongering without facts from the Lord of Virology is just annoying and annoying!
Just badly more appearance than reality. Besides, I don't like sick houses.
Anyone expecting help and expertise is out of place here.
Great clinic! Was finished after two hours in the eye clinic with all examinations! The staff is very nice and empathetic despite the high number of patients. One should not be surprised if one is examined by assistant doctors. One goes to a university hospital. The doctors of tomorrow must also be trained!
They didn't even deserve a star. As so often written. It is very, very dirty. Overwhelmed and unfriendly. And as a university clinic !!!!! Shame on you. Oh and I was not helped ...
Such a waste of time. Took my 12 year old daughter in to see if she has an abdominal hernia. Waited 2.5 hours. Dr. wanted to test for UTI. Test came back clean. She said, "I don't know why you are having pain. Don't eat any sweets or heavy foods." I specifically asked her to check for a hernia, and she told me that she would not call for an ultrasound because she did not think it was a hernia. Are you kidding me? Such a waste.
Long waiting times, poorly organized and, above all, surprisingly incompetent.
I am pregnant since 12 weeks. On Saturday evening, I started losing a bit of brown blood. My doctor told me when this happens, come to me right away, but well saturday evening. After checking many blogs, I decide to just call the Charite to know if I should go or not. I was told to come right away, so I did. They made me wait 2 hours to tell me that next time I should not come because it is not an emergency. When I told them that I was told to come, they explained that their personnel is not qualified to know what is an emergency and what is not. Well How should I know if not even them are able to tell me?
I just have to wonder. Emergency patient with fever and stunned is sent back home ?! In my opinion, in such a time lay and provincial. I can only be amazed at Professor Frei's statements at the RBB. Irresponsible. Is he even able to run such a clinic?
Unfortunately, I have to join in with 'Hella Wahnsinn', as a former nursing staff I am appalled by the way the young, inexperienced medical staff treat patients here.
At that time we were also under stress and still had to act for the benefit of the patient! Today, however, this no longer seems to be essential; monetary interests are the main focus here.
I found myself in the emergency room, really serious competent and scrupulous, you feel just safe
One of the best hospitals in Berlin, I still know it from the GDR, since it was already an advanced hospital, the doctors, the nursing staff are friendly and listen to you Also interesting is the own museum on the premises. The museum is worth seeing. I can only recommend it to everyone
Worst hospital ever!!! dont ever attend, trust me your wasting your timee
Never again this hospital !! I have a severe bladder disorder. I was treated in the middle of the night by a doctor who wanted to put my illness on my soul. With acute pain, I was sent home in the middle of the night More
Hereby I only rate the telephone accessibility of the Charite Mitte ENT application.
An absolute juice shop as regards the accessibility under 450555006. One should make an appointment under this number, the only problem is that the phone is probably hidden in a drawer and the responsible person is snoring on the chair in front of him !!!
Since 11:30 am I try to reach someone every 15 minutes. Super Service!
I absolutely cannot join the many negative experiences here. We felt really well looked after during the birth of our daughter. Our midwife Clara was wonderful. So did everyone else who looked after us during the 3 days of our stay.
Was operated on last Sunday night at 5 a.m. The doctors, nurses and other staff left impeccable criticism. Social skills anyway, professional skills are more than available. The people know what they're doing .. the people who complain here, honestly, if you can do it better, do it yourself or stay at home if it doesn't suit you. Do you stand there for 24 hours? Greetings to station 5c. I would say see you, but for now I'm fed up with pain: 'D
Rinjehaun.
Rude staff, especially those who work as gatekeepers at night.
You can't even ask people anything. Too bad..
Das schlechte Krankenhaus wo ich war.
On Monday I went to the GP, I couldn't breathe well: Horrible bronchitis with fever, 7 days minimum leave and complete rest. The lungs are completely inflamed.
Bad staff shortage .. Information is nil ..
Sentences of the year
"The patient has to go out, we need the bed" and "we will call you back" !!!
Have so far only met the emergency room. There was no way to disinfect your hands. We should go to the main entrance and ask there.
in February I was in Charite in surgery. Dr. Denecke and Dr. Zorron operated on me optimally. The operating room staff and on the ward were always friendly even if there were shortages due to lack of staff. In any case, everything had happened to my complete satisfaction.
I had a scratch in my eye during our trip to Berlin. It was early in the morning when we went to the hospital. The security guard we first saw said we should go to the emergency room even though it wasn't really an emergency. Then when we went there they said I need an eye doctor and would need to go somewhere else. I understand it wasn't an emergency but it wasn't efficient for them or us. But they were nice enough to print out the directions to the other doctor. I don't know uf it would be my fist choice if I was sick in Berlin again.
Super unfriendly staff!
You get insulted and you are accused of things that you did not do, like, for example, that you just left without telling me or lying.
I sat from about 13 o'clock to 22 o'clock in the waiting area and came in this time 1 times in a treatment room with the result, which one does not know what I have and another investigation can only make tomorrow. Then I would have to wait 10 hours again?
The other patients were treated like the last filth ... an old lady in a wheelchair was shouting, another patient sat crying in the waiting room ..... It is not even allowed to go in the fresh air for a short time, as you can otherwise he might miss his call ... Even though I was told that I will not be able to do that in the next few hours. In addition, the corridors and the treatment rooms are dirty and come down. Never again will I even set foot in this clinic!
Thanks to Dr. Dargie. He examined me in detail, wrote a very precise finding and answered all my questions. A very friendly and personable doctor.
Very long waiting times only when you register and then again at the waiting rooms. At least one water dispenser could be set up in the heat.
No good experiences with a would-be doctor who has simply sent a relative away with acute shortness of breath. We had to go to another Krhs where she was treated the same. The guy who wanted to be a doctor was pretty lumpy and seemed overwhelmed.
Very bad staff and very nasty, unfortunately can not give a positive comment.
Perhaps this is due to the lack of staff, but there is nothing for patients who can do it.
My experience in the Charite is positive. The doctors are very good and quite competent.
2019/08. Avoid your head from Charite ER. Save your +7hours and research better ER in your critical moments of life.
Very modern bed house just impressive, I can not rate the patient care because I was only there as a tourist to look at
The 'treatment' by the alleged internist alias Mr. Polzin was a complete catastrophe in terms of both social skills and professional skills. Only the nursing staff seemed competent to me.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
After waiting 4.5 hours on Sunday, November 20, 2017, I was called to the doctor.
The reason: on Friday I had my thumb trapped. On Sunday it was extremely swollen, blood was jammed under the nail and I felt strong pressure on my thumb.
It would have been correct to carry out a treatment, i.e. to drill small holes in the nail so that the blood can escape and the pressure decreases.
However, the doctor said that this would be unnecessary, the thumb would heal on its own and my nail DEFINITELY would not fall off.
State of affairs: The nail has become porous due to the bruise and has to be pulled. I work in the field and have to hide my nail in a plaster for the next 7-8 months.
Conclusion: I recommend everyone who cares about their health to go to another hospital.
I am a self-employed doctor
My outpatient FA has taken 20 minutes for the investigation and a conversation (by a medical assistant, not a specialist!) There were 30 seconds, the Op-indication was of course also the resident physician.
I got the appointment in a month.
I just go to smaller KH, because you take care of patients, in the Charite you're just a number.
2 stars and the only reason is the food. In January 2016, I slipped and not only dislocated my knee, I also suffered a patella rupture. I came to the emergency room which unfortunately I can not recommend!
As first of all, the emergency doctors on the spot did not manage to retract my knee. Therefore, from the hospital where I can first wait under severe pain for 2 HOURS until a CT was made (it was also the Patellabruch out) and finally my knee was set back!
I was also shipped to a kind of patient waiting room with beds. There it went already: There was a woman in the room in the Eastern European dialect has repeatedly called for water: "Help ... I thirst ... Hiiilfeee" 10 minutes later: Still no one came to give the poor woman water , Called the nurse, another 5 minutes later finally comes a nurse, the nurse reacted very dry and again 10 minutes later, she finally came with water ...
Then I should be operated on, but did not go that day, Saturday late in the evening. I should be operated on the next day (if I had been a private patient ...).
So, the next day (Sunday) it was said I have to wait until Monday because the operating rooms are all overflowing! Wow! Another day I lay around with severe pain! I say again only if I had been a private patient I would have been operated on right away!
Then finally came my OP, more typical course. Next problem: I EXPLICITLY pointed out that I have a HISTAMIN-INTOLERANCE and should therefore not take any opiates, but instead I was run there as an "opiate allergic" .... As a result, she had given me diclofenac in a strong pain episode to have. Hello? Diclo is known to increase histamine levels -> No go for people with histamine intolerance !!! ??? I also experienced afterwards. Competence schonmal 0. If you suffer from "rare" diseases or intolerances you should NOT trust the competence of the doctors there. It's best to google any drug for your own intolerance!
Medication for the patients are in the hallway in ceramic pens in front of the rooms. Any idiot could theoretically pocket all medias at night. Again very unprofessional.
Internet and television costs there 3 per day plus an outrageous activation fee of a whopping 15 ! If you do not want to be bored then you have to dig deep into your pocket, a joke and an impertinence! Absolute usury for this outdated tube screen!
During the operation, I also lost about half of my patellar cartilage, which they probably could not fix. I think slowly that this was just another sloppiness on her part! But unfortunately I can not prove that.
Conclusion: Only the food was really good, but that's not enough to compensate for the catastrophic deficiencies in other areas.
On an emergency case I had to wait from 9pm to 7am in the waiting room. Another girl was there even longer (since 4pm). Can t imagine such a big hospital can be so not well organized...
In my opinion the best hospital in Berlin! Since I was there for the first time in 1998, I've tried to go there whenever possible. The finest technology, very competent doctors and very friendly staff, which you More
Very competent, polite and always strive to make the patient as comfortable as possible.
Have many doctors because of my hip dysplasia but here everything has voted from the consultation to after care.
Super
Stay that way.
The extremely professional and sensitive staff saves lives! But there are only people! Mistakes are human and not always avoidable! An urgent recommendation: Remain as patients, and especially as their relatives, mature, interested and vigilant citizens! This too can save lives!
Kiir Hospital is huge and has departments for every disease
My mother was in this hospital for weeks. The nursing staff is overwhelmed and has difficulties within the employees themselves. I had several times tried to reach the doctors by phone, unfortunately without success. Also personally I could not lead a discussion with the doctors. The social service was also unreachable.
The final discussion was led by a doctor who spoke very bad German. My mother did not understand anything here either.
What is worse, she was discharged with a lung disease that was life-threatening. Here was an oxygen saturation of about 70 percent available.
Came here after breaking my ankle badly. I can't fault the emergency care or the corrective surgery that followed. But recovery was a nightmare.
No-one could give me a straight answer about when I would be discharged. Leading to highs (tomorrow) followed by lows (two days that turned into three then four).
The orthopaedic word seems understaffed. Nursing care inconsistent. Two bed rooms with doors firmly closed means that you don't see anyone for hours. Food is bearable for about two days then it's boring and unappetising. I refused it after day 11.
Maybe depression is a common symptom of those forced to spend a long period in hospital. But this is a depressing place.
Just praying now that I can get out of here.
Unbelievably unfriendly nurses in the emergency room, but if you got through to the doctors, everything is great!
My father was treated very well. Competent doctors nice friendly nursing staff. The cleanliness is good. Thank you and keep it up!
Plant and architecture, as far as it was not defaced by new buildings, is interesting and somehow beautiful. Because it is a university hospital, almost all areas of medicine are gathered here. A terrain that invites you to stroll and watch, even if you are not exactly patient or subject.
For the demolition and new fraction there is also a psychiatry, but unfortunately this is not locked up here.
Mixed feelings, on the one handExcellent technical equipment and well trained staff, on the other hand a lousy administration, which saves exactly where it should not be saved, namely at the staff. What good is the best training, if out of congestion and lack of time this training can not be implemented.
The beautiful old buildings are hardly used as a hospital, since research facilities are housed. Again and again, subjects are being searched for the research facilities. But CAUTION, there are two different facilities. There is one that tried on the people under the name of the Charite for the pharmaceutical industry drugs ..... the numbers for that BUT ..... !!! Otherwise, there are still "serious" research that the subjects use. But these are carried out at the individual institutions. It is worth a stroll through the hospital history, if you are healthy. If you are ill, then you need good luck to get to the right doctors.
Please learn how to properly write recipes. Again and again problems with incompetent interns. No telephone availability, no idea what you are actually doing there. Very dangerous when it comes to highly effective drugs. And that for the repeated time!
The TV series "Charite" is good, but the luster has long since faded.
Badly signposted.
Patziges staff none of the one helps.
Doctors go home without giving notice.
Am since 10 o'clock in the morning until 15 o'clock here without a soul in the station 15!
The doctors there are in my experience very good. That, which over and over again, with each telephone contact can get only a star, is the telephone central. The people there are stuffy, rude, bad-tempered, hang up when something gets too much for them and evidently badly trained. But perhaps these telephone workers do not earn so much that one can only employ people there who find their sense of life and livelihood in not piercing or offending callers. If you want to go to the charite, then you should go there, run, croak, but do not call.
Years ago I had good experiences here. There are good, competent and friendly staff working here. Let alone the interesting history background. If you are interested. Is recommended. Although not everyone agrees.
There are the best doctors together. Kidney transplant successful.
Nursing and medical care emerged in cardiac surgery and cardiology. Also the postoperative treatment very well.
REALLY BAD
you have a splinter in the eye with a lot of pain and wait from 17.30 until 23.40 until you finally ran .... !!!
Was operated on here and was satisfied. The staff: inside were very friendly except for one.
Obstetrics unbeatable. The team around Larry is unbeatable. You were unique and conjured unforgettable memories from complicated seeming situations. Our child started life perfectly and the mother was taken care of. From the nursing team to the doctors clear where we will get children No. 2,3,4, .. Keep it up!
Sitting here in the patient room since 9 am this morning and waiting for a vacant bed. Now it's just after 2:00 pm. With such a service, a star is still too much.
4.5 hours waiting, and still who knows when doctor will see me, never come again here , saw nurses smoking outside , Shame
Really disappointing. Today I have visited emergency ward for my leg swelling issue, and when everything was done (doctor checkup n all), I have asked lady nurse for wheelchair upto exit gate as i could not walk and she just refused it with arrogance. Doctor told me not to move my foot for 2 days and that nurse asked me to walk on the same foot. Never seen such an arrogance. Go here if you really dont have any other option.
The emergency room or rescue center is an ABSOLUTE disaster. After more than 5 hours of waiting with pain and REPEATLY unsuccessful question about a possibility to lie down, no doctor has been seen. The picture is rounded off by inept and unfriendly staff. If it were up to me, there would be no star at all.
I was in the emergency room on December 12, 2020 because I cut my index finger deeply while preparing to move. I was treated so kindly from the first minute and it took less than 10 minutes and I had already dewed my finger in a glass of iodine, then it was sewn. All the nurses and doctors, a total of 5 who were in conversation with me during the period, were so friendly and helpful as I have never experienced in an emergency room. and despite the hustle and bustle of the coronavirus, all the nurses and doctors radiated a calm, it was just great. I just wanted to say thank you and express my praise. thank you very much and stay healthy
This review only affects the EEG team:
For the second time now I have made an appointment for the EEG PERSONALLY (at the information desk) and have also picked up a new referral every time from the general practitioner, but still none of the EEG team has any idea and knew nothing about it ?! Waited sooooo long with an appointment even though at first nobody was in front of me, later others were preferred ?! Totally bad organization, you can't expect patients to take a WHOLE DAY for an appointment that would take 1 hour at most !!
I am a student and have to neglect the university every time to get an appointment every 3 weeks, and then nobody here knows what about an appointment!
Horrible ! After more 10 hours of waiting I. The ER and jumping from a doc to another , they told me that we can t tell what s wrong with you so go home and then your general doctor ! Which I have already been to ! Endless loops of stupid referrals!
HORRIBLE Emergency experience!!!! If you have pain be prepared to wait for hours together in a waiting room where you DO NOT have access to any doctor or nurse. I want to ask Hospital Management how can they design an ER with all glasses around and creating absolute barriers between a patient and doctor/nurse? Do they have common sense why patients would come to EMERGENCY??? Pity on this hospital's ER care! NURSES are DAMN RUDE!!! Poor patients had to wait for no reason at all. Doctors and nurses are heard chatting behind closed doors and do not respond timely. You have to be really lucky to have been heard after at least 4 hours. Poorest poorest Emergency service never seen before not even in under developed countries! If you like to die or eat pain, please do visit them.
in 2005 I came to Charite' at the beginning of a very serious illness, in the immunology department, I was diagnosed with Epstein Barr, then I was told that my treatment of choice was psychotherapy (?! ahem, say again? isn't the treatment of choice against viruses something like an antiviral?) then the doctor proceeded to inform me that if I dared to ask for disability and take advantage of the country (I was just visiting!) he would personally persecute me, his words. I was young then, so I didn't really complain or anything, and left the country.
Last week in 2016 after a bad accident that left me in great pain, I made the mistake of going to first help at Charite'. First the doctor said "you look too nice to be really in pain" (!), then accidentally he learned about my previous experience with multiple viruses, which "do not exist" (!) and again I was referred to a psychiatrist. On passing I mentioned that I was successfully doing acupuncture for the pain and he said "here we don't believe in negative vibrations" (?!) I don't need to comment. He also asked in a threatening way if I wanted to move to Germany because of their healthcare, implying that I wanted to take advantage of the system. And by the way, he prescribed me the more pernicious drugs ever for pain, even if according to him I was just a crazy person who needed a psychiatrist. Does not compute. If I am not mistaken that guy's name, who clearly was not any kind of doctor, especially not the neurologist he said he was, is Thomas Liman.
In any case, if you suffer from EPV or Lyme or possibly a lot of other horrifying illnesses that are not as visible as a broken leg, be warned that at Charite' "they don't believe in them", and the hospital's policy seems to consist in sending bouncers to scare foreigners out of moving to Germany. This was my experience, and my advice is to do your best to pick a different hospital.
Prof. Bergmann and Prof. Zuberbier are top doctors. It's completely incomprehensible why they moved their department to a demolished building in Steglitz. Therefore only 2 stars. Almost unreachable for me
SERIOUS DEFECTS IN THE PROCESSING OF PATIENT DATA !!!
Charite's data protection officer, Janet Fahron, was not willing or able to fully resolve serious data protection flaws in the handling of patient data for more than a year. The problem was trivialized, although data protection deficiencies in this clinic were already addressed in data protection reports and articles. An employee gave the responsible person unsuccessful speeches.
Serious grievances in this clinic should be addressed publicly. There is an obligation to report to all patients who have not been followed for years, see the world wide web:
patient rightsand silence.blogspot.de
The doctors are competent and put a lot of effort into it. The same applies to the nursing staff. However, one notices that the health system lacks money and additional staff. Food was very good!
Academically yes it is renowned. But extremely long wait times, ranging from 2-4 hours just to fix whatever problem you have.
I was hospitalised with a bout of Labyrinthitis, and ended up in hospital for 5 days. It's difficult to give an average review, as some aspects were good, but these were frankly outweighed by some really poor care.
The good: I was seen quickly, triaged almost immediately and stabilised, before being moved to a quiet room (no wards, just a series of rooms with just 2 beds).
The OK: The medical care seemed good - more tests than I've had after similar episodes in the UK, including one which pinpointed the problem.
The not so good: terrible communication - definitely seen as a series of symptoms to be dealt with. Also inconsistent nursing care - blood pressure tests happened as and when, and there was a half-day delay in giving me some medication because each nurse through the other had done it. Generally, a very uncaring attitude.
The terrible: the food! Honestly, the worst food I've ever eaten - didn't see a fresh vegetable for the entire time.
Pretty great hospital. At some stations, however, the water pipes and sanitary facilities should be replaced.
Awesome hospital! Especially the senior doctor in ward 48, highly recommended .....
Very long wait .... up to 8 hours ..... unfortunately you are not taken seriously ... neither in the adoption ... nor in the sisters ..... nor the doctors .... treatment and examinations by assistant doctors .... to 90% ..... throughout unfriendly clearance ... that must urgently happen ....!
Efcharisto poli meta apo 14 chronia ekane epemvasi oadelfos mou panajiotis gennadis itan poli sosti oli ena megalo efcharisto gia tin andimetopisi ton giatron ke ton nosilefton to 2003 ton ioulio. !!!!
I needed an ambulance and urgent medical help and everything was perfect. The doctors are prepared, kind and have done everything to solve the problem. The nurses are fluent in English and can explain anything.
I was operated on the "pilonidal sinus" and my wound was left open as it was inflamed. After mismatch 2 years ago, the wound was still not closed.
Go to another hospital, going here is a mistake, and it will cost you time you possibly can't afford to waste.
I had a very painful infection and was told that it was not an emergency by the front desk nurse in the Emergency Room, and that I should just go see another doctor. No one looked at me or offered to help, no glance at the infected area, no vital signs taken for fever or high blood pressure. When I asked how long the wait was, the front desk nurse asked me if I was asking how long real emergencies take and repeated that I should leave and go see a doctor. I told them I was in a lot of pain, and they gave me some Ibuprofen and said to call a doctor in the morning. I shuffled out of there defeated.
I ended up leaving and calling a more specialized doctor in the morning (I am glad I did). Within 2 minutes of seeing me this doctor sent me straight to another hospital for emergency surgery for the infection so it would not spread into my bloodstream. The doctor I saw knew that I was in a lot of pain and that it was serious, they cared, Charite did not.
Hospitals are supposed to help and care for people, this is to me their most core reason for being. Charite hospital failed immensely in doing so. I left feeling worse than when I arrived, not to mention in a more dangerous situation than before.
Take care of yourself and please avoid this hospital.
Try Franziskus-Krankenhaus, their staff is incredibly helpful and caring.
I agree with the negative reviews here, my experience with an internist (?) Was rather negative. The diagnosis was wrong and social skills left much to be desired.
Such unfriendly staff especially the guy at the info next to the exit. Likewise a sister, snapped around what to look for here. And that in the accessible area.
The medical museum is interesting but photography is verboten.
So they have saved my life Thank you! I felt in good hands after a long heart OP.Personal Top and especially the nurses and sisters in the Intensiv.Nochmal Thanks
