I was hospitalised with a bout of Labyrinthitis, and ended up in hospital for 5 days. It's difficult to give an average review, as some aspects were good, but these were frankly outweighed by some really poor care.
The good: I was seen quickly, triaged almost immediately and stabilised, before being moved to a quiet room (no wards, just a series of rooms with just 2 beds).
The OK: The medical care seemed good - more tests than I've had after similar episodes in the UK, including one which pinpointed the problem.
The not so good: terrible communication - definitely seen as a series of symptoms to be dealt with. Also inconsistent nursing care - blood pressure tests happened as and when, and there was a half-day delay in giving me some medication because each nurse through the other had done it. Generally, a very uncaring attitude.
The terrible: the food! Honestly, the worst food I've ever eaten - didn't see a fresh vegetable for the entire time.
