I would give them a negative if possible. Not a reputable place to do business. I was quoted one price over the phone and magically the price went up by $800 when I picked up the jeep. I went to another dealership to quote the same issue and the price was the original quote. I reached out to Chrysler for a refund of the difference I had to pay. They pretty much ignored me. I will never do business with Champion again.

Phil has superior communication skills including the ability to communicate complex repairs to a novice. He is patient, a good listener, serves with a sense of urgency, and is very fair - even negotiating on my behalf with Chrysler. I feel lucky to have Phil as a resource.

There are very few things in this world i hate more than being lied to. It should be known to everyone that reads this review that you should be very diligent in determining that vehicles that are listed on the website are not only at their lot but are still available and not sold. I spent the morning conversing with a certain salesman and tried to get a general price on a lease. After being convinced that the only way they could crunch numbers was to meet in person i drove 40 minutes to be told the jeep in question was not even on the lot, but at another dealership owned lot. I shrugged it off and continued with making a deal. They took my deposit, contacted my insurance agent, and let me to believe they were taking care of me while i waited for my vehicle to arrive from another dealership. The big problem is this jeep never existed, they took my money, lied to me and did the old bait and switch while they tried to find one that was comparable. They lied and deceived me plain and simple, and then they lied about their lies. I bet it feels great to go home as a used car salesman and feel good about the accomplishments of your day... I have never set foot in Champion until today.. I will never be back.. I will never recommend their services to anyone.. They are not the only jeep dealer in the neighborhood and will have a hard time paying the bills for their dealership if they continue down this path of immoral salesmanship. Beware...

What a disaster!! First time my truck was brought...

What a disaster!! First time my truck was brought to the service department for recalls and the service manager treated my mother-in-law and father-in-law as if they were a hassle. Totally unacceptable behavior and worse yet it came from multiple employees.

Not being one to jump to conclusions I didn't write a review and just chalked it up to someone having a bad day. Second time to the service department is not any better. I am bringing my truck in to have the mirror replaced. A mirror that was broke when I bought the truck last summer. At the time of purchase it was written in the paperwork that Champion Dodge would replace the mirror. When the mirror comes in, sometime in the fall, the salesman calls me and says the service department will get ahold of me to schedule installation, this never happens. Fortunately for me I get a call in regards to the recall work and mention the mirror issue. After some run around I am told they found the paperwork and will honor it. Schedule my appointment for 9:15 on Saturday morning. Upon arriving I am told that it will take 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Seemed a bit much for a mirror replacement but the wife followed me down so we could do some shopping in he mean time. When I arrive back to Champion, at 11:15, I tell the young man I am there to pick up my truck. At this point, to zero surprise, my truck has not been touched and still sits there with the busted mirror. At this point the scramble is on to try to rush and get the mirror on. By 12:05 I am out of there and will never be back.

Interesting observations made during this whole process.

1. The young gentlemen who worked on the truck and the young gentlemen who first realized the mistake were seemingly the only ones who cared and were apologetic for the mistake.

2. The service manager was worried about lunch more than managing his service department.

3. Think about changing your sign on all the windows to "We want you very UNsatisfied."

Lastly thank you for the one and only vehicle that we as a company will ever purchase from you. Putting 20 vehicles on the road a year and replacing three every year can be a challenge but expecting at least decent customer service isn't a lot to ask.

This place have many things to work out if they call themselves friendly and cooperative. I went here because I basically went with a friend a while ago and enter into one o those silly competitions that people rarely win. Long story short I get a call from them basically saying that I had won and I have to come down claim my prize and etc etc... I was skeptical ,I'm not gonna lie but I had the time so I went anyway. I set an appointment and went the day the appointment was met. I walked in and there were plenty people there but no-one really came to help or a few mins. Some random dealer walks in the door from a errand and was told to take me , so I told him what I was there for.

here goes the typical"I wanna sell you a car spiel", but before he went deep into that I had already told him that I drive a fairly new car under 100,000 miles i'm not looking for anything. So he says'"well how about this do you want some free money" I'm like no I don't he ask's me the same thing again"No I'm ok on free money" the this where the experience went south, he say's " who's retarded enough to not want free money?" I'm like wow....really so it made it clear at this moment I wasn't leaving with what I came for. so he basically got pissed at the fact that I wasn't taking any of his offers to sell me a car so he turns around and tell me "yeah you can't even have your prize now anyway because we are closed" so imma give you this info and you should come back and see me in a couple days. I'm like "if your closed how the hell would you allow people to schedule an appointment to see you at this time?" he nonchalant ohhh that is weird huh? I'm like so now that you see I don't want a car your closed? It's 4pm and nothing on your door say's your close to closing.

So he tries to proceed with selling me a car I ended up saying forget it keep your damn prize i'm cool and walked out with him in the background talking about "You don't wanna talk about your options?"

If there was an option to give them no stars I would leave it blank, they are like any other back alley car dealership and he reaction on how he handled the situation was unprofessional period. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone in the future and this alone really makes me not want to buy from dealerships period. If you can STEER CLEAR FROM HERE!!!!!!!!NOT WORTH IT

My salesman Issac Evenson was awesome! He greeted me in the parking lot before I even got to the front door, introduced himself and asked if there was anything in particular that I wanted to see? I said the Plum Crazy Purple SRT Scat Pack Dodge Challenger you have on your website!

He said no problem. Let me get it moved out of the showroom and get the keys for you so you can take it for a test drive. I was pleasantly surprised because I had just left LaFontaine Chrysler on Pennsylvania and they absolutely refused to let me test drive any of their 392 chargers or challengers. They gave me some lame excuse about its their company policy but I didn t buy it.

Needless to say I was very upset & disappointed from what I heard and I took my business elsewhere! That was one of the reasons why I decided to give Champion a try. Issac was very helpful and made my buying experience quick, easy & painless. I got the car I wanted, at a fair price with an affordable payment and even a few rebates!

I ve told all of my family & friends if and when they want or need a new vehicle to go to champion first.

This was my first time here and my experience was excellent. Woke up to a flat tire on a Monday morning. I called the service department and Joe answered. He told me drop the car off & they would fix it. The shuttle took me to work.The shuttle driver was very friendly and personable. Joe called me a few hours later saying my car was ready and good to go. I picked my car up and they even put a warranty on the plug for my tire. I was already having a great experience but what makes it excellent is that they even washed my car for me. That made my day! I will definitely be back of I ever need any service on my vehicle.

It took a few visits, but they kept at it until the actual cause was found and repaired it without further charge. I've been an engineer for 40 years but this one would have baffled me. Everyone I dealt with during the process was great, especially my sales consultant Shannon. Would not recommend the service department. I took my 2015 durango to budget tire and got a wheel alignment to try and fix the shake my truck has it did help a little. i also had my tires balanced and rotated. That was about a month ago.

I brought my truck in to figure out why it still had a shake and why it had white smoke coming out of the exhaust every time it starts up. Some of the workers there looked and acted like they were fresh out of high school which was concerning. I brought it in 2 times left it there and on the 3rd day they told me my issue was that i had chop in my tires. They balanced and rotated my tires and charged me for it something i had just had done already. They also said they never saw any smoke. Since i have gotten it back it is driving worse than when i brought it in and i still have white smoke coming out of my exhaust. I did have all new tires put on and it did not help at all.

Our Jeep had a check engine light that was on so we came in to have it serviced. While we were there we decided to have other items repaired as well. This is were the problems started. First it took far longer to repair everything than they said. Next it cost more than they estimated and they were forced to give us a discount to keep it close to the original price that was quoted. We were promised that the vehicle would be washed and clean when we got it back and it was even dirtier than before. But the worst is to come. We pulled out of the parking lot on to Saginaw and realized that the drive shaft bolts were not put in. WHO DOES THAT!!! Especially since that wasn't one of the original problems. It is not like it broke, the BOLTS WEREN'T IN IT! Now we are trying to call and get assistance but there is not even a place to leave a voicemail. As a business, if you want to stay open long you will need to get your act together. Fortunately no one was injured but I advise every customer to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive after they claim to have serviced it.

I had no previous established credit so I knew going into it that looking for a newer vehicle may take a little bit of digging and searching to find the one I want. 2 weeks later and 6 vehicles later we found one that I exactly wanted. I cannot thank both of them for being in my corner the entire time fighting along side me to get me into a newer vehicle!

I would never buy another car from this dealership...

I would never buy another car from this dealership again. I recently purchased a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee and although I like my new jeep the customer service is horrible. The process was extremely slow. It took over 6 hours to purchase the vehicle. They were not up front with the pricing. I kept having to ask repeatedly for the exact price. At the end of a very long day I felt they tricked me into purchasing an extra $3,000 in added features/warranties I didn't want. I was able to remove those extras but only after I spoke with my credit union and it was a hassle. In addition, I was promised two key fobs for the jeep while I was purchasing it. They said that one of the keys had been misplaced but they would get it to me as soon as they found it. My big mistake was believing that they would honor their word. It has been over a month and still no second key fob. Following up I called the dealership multiple times and the most recent time they told me that they may never find the second key so they could give me a "good deal" on a new key--another $150 to $200....I'm NOT happy!!! They promised me that second key and now they want to charge me for it....very poor customer service!!!! I will never purchase another vehicle from this dealership and I'll be sure to share my experience with all my friends and family.

Walked around the lot and not one salesperson approached us until we were headed back to our vehicle. We then went inside to discuss our options and filled out a credit application. We're told our credit was significantly worse than we knew it to be and that we didn't qualify for standard financing. We decided to leave and discuss our options and ended up going to another dealership the same day and purchasing a vehicle with standard financing without any issues. I don't know what they are doing over there, but we were ready to purchase a vehicle that day and almost went back and paid their exhorbitant rate. The way the information was presented to us was incredibly rude and demeaning. I will not go back to this dealership ever.

My husband and i went to Champion on Wednesday February 21, 2018 because he had an appointment with someone named 'Pat' who had arranged for the two trucks he was interested in to be brought to the Lansing Dealership for him to look at and test drive. But when we arrived for the appointment instead we spoke with a woman named Kim. Who, was the RUDEST, most condescending individual i have ever met. My husband told her from the he set go that he had an appointment with Pat and not to even run his credit because it's so poor but instead to run mine because my credit is better. What did Kim do? She ran his credit. And after speaking with us abput options she became incredibly snotty with us when we told her about what price range we wanted, what we wanted for finamcing, etc. She refused to help us in ever talking to a financial lender to meet our needs, and we were ready to put down at least $800 down payment on the used 2001 Dodge Durango that was listed on your website. But did Kim help us with that? No! Instead she starting pushing for us to buy a $15,000 car that we didn't need for one thing, it ever need and then said that no credit union would EVER finance a car that old. I call bull, especially since i spoke with somebody at Lake Trust Credit Union to see if that was true, guess what, it wasn't! Kim then went on to point out that my credit, while not bad, wasn't good enough to even consider us To have a $4,000 Durango for the price listed a minth on your website! and then proceeded to brag about her own credit score of 700+. Not. Professional. Or. Called. For. At. All. Remember that appointment thing from before? Guess what. Never happened. We never met with this 'Pat' my husband spoke to over the phone nor did we even have the appointment he booked with 'Pat' instead we got Kim and we were treated terribly.

This man new what I wanted, something cheaper than most on the lot, something with a low payment, he also new that I only wanted to use MY personal bank. If he would have just told me what bank it was going through in the first place I wouldn t be stuck in this mess. I asked for numbers and he told me they were what I WANTED. My young dumb self was thinking it would all work out. Lol. I knew I probably shouldn t have made any decisions without my mom, because momma always knows best, and he says you don t need to talk to your Mom you are an adult now . Waist of time. Poor sales management experience...i searched online found a vehical I like. I chatted with the online Business Development Rep. I was told the online prices are their champions and they honor them. Also they say they have more aggressive discounts . So i took time off next day and I went spending about an hour i am ready to pay. 100% the sale person said we discuss price at last first we find the vehical thats fits me. Anyway...They come to me with a price few thousands over the price online. I simply left the dealership and wished them a good day. As i arrived home made contact with the same online person she said she will check with managment. Few hours later came back a little less. Yet still much higher in the thousands higher than the online price. The explanation is in their FINE PRINTS. the prices they advertise read to me as they are ONLY FOR THE employees not for public. They list the lowest price possible. You only learn that after you waste your time. I suggest Go to the LaFontain Chrysler on Pennsylvania. Not a lot better. But at least they say on their prices what they are. Next to employees and family discounts. I see more truths

I went into Champion to find a new vehicle. I worked with Brent trying to find a good car. I had a lot of questions and concerns about purchasing. he helped me through this difficult process and made me feel comfortable. I appreciated his time and effort, no pressure to purchase right away. I am soon getting a chunk to put a solid down payment on a vehicle and I will be revisiting Brent. He was a very professional saleman.

Very nice, clean, professional and friendly staff. Helped me with everything and were even able to get my car that was 200 a month over my budget down to my budget, you can't beat that. They gave me deal after deal to make sure I got the car I wanted for the price I was willing to afford. :) I totally would recommend them to anyone.

I was in Lansing from Kalamazoo with my father in the hospital, and the throttle body went out on my Patriot. I was referred to Champion by my local Jeep dealership, and was fortunate enough to get Sorin on the phone. It was Thursday before Labor Day weekend, so they were extremely busy, but he helped me arrange a tow, got my Patriot in, and I had it back on Friday in time to perform a wedding I was officiating! He was so compassionate and professional and helpful, I cannot say enough good things about Champion in general and Sorin in particular!!!!! My Dad will now get his next vehicle from Champion based on my experience there!

I took my 2003 jeep for a mechanic who did scanning to it, and came up with a solution to replace the transmission!!!!!. Then I decided to take it to Champion dealership in 4/19/12 although I was skeptical, but "Bert" made me %100 satisfied even before repair. It came out that there were 2 wire cuts which made the problem, having said that they saved me a lot of time and money. My advice... take your car to the professional shop to fix it from first place and don't be fooled by cheap cunning mechanics.

Went there for the first time to have my oil changed and tires rotated. They didn't reset my computer and my tires have 12 pounds difference from front to back. And for $155 you would think that would be checked over.

Went here to get some recall work done, I had been having major issues with my power steering hose breaking and foumd out it was under recall. The entire line needed to be replaced and the recall was only for part of it. They fixed the entire line, filled my power steering, brake, coolant, and even washer fluid. They charged me 0.00 dollars. Also got a new ignition. They know what they are doing and take pride in their work and your vehicle. We have another Dodge dealership in lansing but I will only ever use Champion from now on.

They did not tell me they would do 8 hard inquiries on my credit. When i asked management what they thought about it. They said it was ok that they did that. I said but the sales guy did it after i said "you are aounding shady and i dont want to work withyou anymore" management still said it was ok. I said but its obvious it was malicious because he did it after i said i dont want to work with you anymore, he never followed up with me and he only ran one hard inquiry on my boyfriend who filled out tge same application as i did. I just want a jeep but i can wait. I thought this would be a company that had my best interest as priority. Consumers beware they will get you if you make them mad and they will yell that it is their right and that they are not sorry when you ask them and tell them you fell this was wrong. Very bad choice. My car on service for a month now, every week they say next week. They tried to take advantage of my situation by selling me a lease that was 4 times price higher than Lafonteen. My sells guy is Jackob does not know how to talk to costumers, does not know how to explain numbers because he doesn't understand them. Tod came to help. When I was negotiating the price Tod was looking at my brother text and read it on my phone. Tod told me he worked with Chrysler for 6 years and there is no claim with Lemon law was successful, which means No liability for Jeep and Chrysler. Tod told me that because my car on their service no one can appraise it, which means their experience offer is my only choice. My car is only 33000 miles and they are replacing transmission because they couldn't fix it. I took me car driving to them and now it's not drivable to take to somewhere else. My advice is don't deal with Champion. If jeep doesn't have liability why buying it? If you have to deal with jeep lease is better but you need to expect your car will stay on service forever.

Buying my Jeep Renegade was a mostly pleasant experience but getting my vehicle serviced has been a headache. I had to call 5 times to get in touch with anyone in the service department to schedule a simple oil change. And when it was finally scheduled I spent an hour and 45 minutes waiting! I've never had to wait that long for an oil change. It's a good thing the "Oil Change Package" they forced me to buy is good at any Jeep/Chrsyler dealership because I'm never going back to Champion.
