They were supposed to show us a car, but they ended up canceling the appointment twice. Once they didn't even tell us until we got there which was thirty minutes driving. We decided to get a different car because we were so pissed. I will not use this place ever. I wish I can give them zero star.

This is one of the few dealerships and the west side of Lansing for Dodge Ram and Chrysler or even Jeep... Not much enthusiasm from the sales ban or even a service people there, they know they got you so they just don't really put much effort into satisfying you but yet when they want you to give them a review they Hound you to make sure that you give them all 5 stars but yet they won't give you five star service.

Special thank you to Bryan and to David for going above and beyond every time my car has been in for service. Fair prices, fast turnaround, just superior service....and I didn't even purchase from Champion.

The service department puts the "steal" in stealership. Took vehicle in because both headlights (high and low beams) quit working at the same time. The lamps themselves are less than a year old. In this specific car both high and low beams are a single bulb with separate filiments for each. The low beams have burnt out before but the high continue to work. After leaving my car with them and being told i would recieve a call to discus the diagnosis. 6 hours without hearing from anyone I called them... After 6 hours the diagnosis is "We need to remove the bumper to inspect if the headlights are burnt out or if the "wiring harness" inside the headight assembly is faulty." Only a $350 job just to see if a headlight is burnt out? A part that needs replacing multiple times in a vehicles life? Valvoline can replace a bulb in 15 minutes no removal of bumper required. Long story short, these service writers are out to screw you. They don't know the cars. They don't communicate with the techs. They don't have answers to your questions. Stay far away from these crooks. All they want is your $$$$. And they aren't afraid to lie to get it. You've been warned.

I would have to say I am completely unimpressed. My husband and I went in yesterday 5-20-2019 to address an issue with low/flat tires (which should be under warranty). They took the tires off filled them with air dunked them and found no leaks. Sent us on our way with zero resolution. We then drove to Menards about 1+ mile down the road, then had lunch at Denny's on the way back towards the dealership and our tires were low /flat again. Went back to the dealership They took them off and then did the same thing and found a screw in one patched it and did nothing with the other(s) . The patched tire is the front passenger and the rear had nothing done to it. We Came home left the truck parked over night and pictured below is what I woke up to this morning. Yet according to Champion Chrysler Jeep Dodge RAM my tires are fine. What do you think?

My son bought a used car from Champion and it was supposed to be safety inspected, the ebrake was not even connected, the power steering system was all rigged together, and we have even more work to put into it. Lights are coming on and we have put almost $900 into it after only owning it since November and paying with tax $8000 for a 2009. Please bring your mechanics with you when purchasing a used vehicle from them.

I bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty last year (August 2017) and within 4 days, the transmission overheat light came on. We took it back to the dealership and they said that the transmission fluid needed to be changed and a couple of parts to the trans, which cost me $900. I picked it up and a week later went on vacation to the UP and within two hours of driving it at highway speeds, the trans overheat light came on again. Months later I find out that the transmission is nearing failure. My mechanic told me that the transmission has been nearing failure for over a year now and it's just a matter of time before it completely goes out. The dealership knew very well that this was the issue and they STILL sold me the vehicle and told me that the transmission was completely fine when I took it in for service. I will never be back again and will continue to tell everyone I know that Champion sold me a vehicle with a faulty transmission and very well knew about it. Shame on your Champion!

This dealership really stinks! I moved to the Lansing area several years ago and every time I take my jeep to get the basics routine car maintenance done the staff is rude, their always over crowded, and just horrible. The first time I went I stood waiting for someone to help me for approximately 20 minutes, while staff walked passed me and didn't once ask if I had been helped. For a while I would drive an hour and half to my old dealership just for oil change and tire rotation, now I'm stuck with taking my car to other places that I feel is less reliable then the dealership!

Purchased my first Chrysler here and have always been taken care of when bringing my vehicle in for services. I always schedule my services with Phillip Wright because things go super smoothly. He gets me in ASAP, I'm always out sooner than estimated, he clarifies what services are due/recommended, and always tries to get me the best price. He has helped coordinate a windshield replacement for me as well. I generally bring paperwork in to work on and I'm always accommodated to feel comfortable and offered a private space. Today Phillip was training a new team member, Sky, and she was also wonderful. The process went smoothly (even during a busy time of day). Sky has great customer service skills, made me feel comfortable, and I'm sure will thrive here. I would recommend Phillip or Sky to any future customers and will continue to do my business here. Thank you!

I just had Champion perform service on my jeep com...

I just had Champion perform service on my jeep commander, originally all went well, it was easy to get my car in and checked out. they seemed to have diagnosed the problem and fixed it, but the evening my car was towed in, we received a call saying that there had been substantial damage amounting to a 1 inch wide approximately 4 ft long scratch and another smaller one above it to the drivers side doors of my vehicle, which they suggested had happened before the car arrived to the lot. After making a call to the towing company that delivered my vehicle, they were able to verify that the damage claimed to have been on my vehicle was not there prior to my car being retrieved by the driver. I later received a call that day from the towing company's owner who told me that he spoke to the dealership and someone had admitted to seeing this occur in the dealership parking lot and that the damage was just paint that had been rubbed onto my vehicle from what I would have to believe was another vehicle. I then spoke with a man named Brian in the Service center, and he repeatedly refused to accept responsibility for the damage done to my vehicle even though I had explained my previous conversation with the man from the towing company. This conversation occurred right before closing time and the damage had not been repaired, at this time I was also informed that I needed more service on the front axle of my car. The next morning I went in to pick up my car since they did repair the parts necessary for me to operate it, when they pulled my car out for me i noticed the giant scratch they claimed was on my vehicle was gone, although there was still some existing damage to the vehicle. at this point I asked to see the Service Manager, so they brought him and the man named Brian who was, to my understanding, the man in charge of my car's repair. I then showed them my vehicle and it was clear that there was still damage to my vehicle that had not been taken care of. Brian then claimed that they buffed out the damage that was done to my vehicle even though there was clearly still visible damage to my vehicle. This lead me to believe A) they never did anything to my car and they wanted me to pay for a service that never actually had occurred, or B) Their employees are not competent enough to fix scratches in a car's paint. I do not know what actually had happened to my Jeep, they did not document this damage for us, we never saw any of it before the claimed repairs had been completed. I feel like I have been disrespected by the dealership I don't understand why they would not immediately take responsibility and rectify the situation. Instead I had to interrogate multiple people to try and figure out where this mysterious scratching had come from. Overall I just believe that this is a shady company, I do not see them as a respectable business and I feel that they tried to take advantage of me. I also think its a little bit odd that the only reviews I saw on their website were extremely generic 4 or 5 star ratings and every review I see on Yelp is a 1 or 2 star review that claims that Champion is not a respectable place of business.

I worked with Brent when I recently went to look at some vehicles. Brent was very professional and knowledgeable. He had all sorts of information about each of the vehicles I looked at. Although I'm not ready to purchase a vehicle at this time, I am definitely coming back to work this gentleman. I received a tremendous about of great customer service.

After going here for a couple yrs for oil changes ...

After going here for a couple yrs for oil changes and service I will not return. Don't suggest anyone to go either. After needing new tires in April 2017 I bought them at Champion. I was told by Phil in service dept to buy tires with them because anywhere else I had to pay more for warranties. He told me if I had any problems with my tires they would be fixed there. So I bought 4 tires. In May 2018 I had a flat, took my car in. They patched the whole and pulled nail out. The next day I go to get in my car and the same tire was flat. I called Phil and took it in. They worked on it for more than a hour couldn't find out where the problem was. Phil came out told me to go home watch it and come back if I had a problem or take it to Discount tire and tell them I bought it there and they'd fix it. I told him I'm not going to lie to Discount tire. So I left not happy with the service or with what I was told to do. After getting home I called back to Champion talked service manager Jeff Freese told him my problem he said I'll call Discount tire you take it there if there is any fee we will pay it. We don't have the equipment they have to find all leaks. So he called Discount tire told them I was coming in and if there was any cost they would pay it. Took my car in they had to replace the tire because when Champion tried to patch the hole they ruined the tire. I called Jeff back to let him know the price and asked him how he was going to pay it he wanted to give me in store credit I told him that wasn't going to work for me because what happened I wasn't coming back to Champion for anything. So I played for a new tire at Discount tire. After I contacted Rick Resinger the general manager at Champion via email let him know my situation he assured me he would get back to me. After a couple weeks I never heard back, I emailed him again. Again I was told I would hear back from someone, never heard back from anyone, never got one penny back on my tire from Champion. Will not return for service or buy a car nor refer anyone.

Service was friendly but didn't have many options under $10k. The car salesman tried his best but didn't seem to know the inventory well; he may have been new. Vehicles also seemed to be priced quite high above kbb value and some had minor issues that needed to be fixed. Cars do not come clean/detailed. We also had to add gas to a vehicle which gave me the impression that the business was slightly u organized. If you struggle with patience, this is not the place for you.

Sketchy sales, very low ball offer on my trade in until I told them they were out of their minds. When going to sign paper work they tried just adding all the extras in without asking. So bad experience.
Service, I went in several times for minor work (oil change) they told me each time that I should take it to the original dealer because they did not know what was necessary. So I did what they kept telling me to do and took it to original dealer. I have not and do not plan to go back. Disappointment from the start.

I have the best Service Advisor at Champion. Philip Wright makes me feel like I'm a part of his family. He's caring and out going and always makes sure I get the best deal every time I need to bring my car in. I could sit and talk to him for hours, but neither of us would get our work done. He's been most helpful. The service department team treats my car as if it's their own. I will continue to take my car there for service as long as I own it. I highly recommend going in and talking with Philip you will not regret it. Proud owner of a 2006 Dodge Charger :-) Keep dreaming for a newer model. Tammy

This dealership needs some serious training in professionalism and how to manage business. The only reason we came here is because they were the one dealership in the state of Michigan with the exact Jeep we wanted. From day one we have had nothing but problems: pulling multiple credit reports causing multiple hard hits, lack of organization with paperwork/license plate, false promises with "anti-theft" etching, and horrendous care in the service department. Our brand-new Jeep just spit oil all over our driveway after a recent service because an incompetent tech didn't tighten the filter... and we didn't even get an apology after waiting over 2 hours at the service department for a simple fix that shouldn't have happened in the first place!

Unacceptable treatment all around and we won't be back.

I recently purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee Limited from Champion. My salesperson was Loren and he was by far the best car salesperson I have ever come in contact with. He did not push any buttons on my" BS alert system". He listened intently to what my desires for a car were and worked with me to make sure that those were met. I had the opportunity to test drive several models of the Cherokee to be sure my purchase fit my needs.
I would recommend Loren to anyone looking for a new car.
I have also worked with the service department at Champion for several years and have found them to be very polite, informative, and knowledgeable.

Service staff are not honest. I was in to have a recently purchased certified used Chrysler looked at for a repair only to be told that in order to even use the 3-Month/3,000-Mile Maximum Care Coverage CPO warranty, I have to wait 1 month from date of purchase. Needless to say I didn't believe this fishy information (provided by the service associate, Phillip Wright) and contacted the original dealer as well as some other dealers in the area who confirmed to me that this isn't true. Consider taking your business elsewhere folks.

Go here, it's worth the drive! I drove over 60 miles to get the best deal possible. Make sure you meet Pat Joslin and he'll fix you up with one of his top sales people. What a great experience, I selected my car and went to lunch, when I got back Pat's team had the car spotless and the paperwork ready to go... sign and drive. All smiles here. When they say Champion Rocks, they mean it.

It's a good dealership, just do your homework before you go into buying yourself a vehicle. Learn as much about the vehicle's history, and about recalls, and has the vehicle been fixed or not, and what is typically known to go wrong with that type of vehicle. Don't be afraid to ask, but more importantly, arm yourself with the knowledge, and don't be afraid to ask for a car history report.
