I do not normally write a review but felt it was worth taking the time to express my gratitude to Tyler Willmer. He has helped shape a positive milestone experience for me. I have never purchased a new vehicle before and I was hesitate to buy one, let alone, deal with a dealer. Unfortunately, I had developed a negative preconceived notion about dealerships trying to "rip people off". And rightly so. But I found that this really wasn't the case. He really went out of his way to make my shopping easier. I didn't even have to walk all over the place to look at cars. He brought them to me while I sat and drank my hot tea. It was really appreciated especially in the winter. I felt like a queen! He also listened to what I was looking for and within the price range and then aimed for that. He didn't try to sell me something else to benefit himself more. In fact, he made it known that it was important to be happy with a choice I make and not compromise (Ex. the color and features). But most importantly, he was patient with me. That alone is a #10! Champion Dealership has made it very clear to me that they want to continue business with me involving various matters. Even though it may be too soon to detect whether it is true, I think that it is only fair that I give them the chance to do so. Thanks again for a positive overall experience.

I asked what was wrong with the car and was told nothing was wrong with it. It was only valued at 16k. When they asked who offered 19k I told them their web site did as well as the ford dealer in Okemos. I even have an offer over 19k from carvana. I was told that the ford dealer was probably just monkeying around with the numbers.... so what was you doing when you told me that you needed to know exactly which car I wanted to buy so you could tell me what mine was worth? All of this while you advertise how simple it is to purchase and trade in a vehicle through your online platform. No one even bothered to check the value. It is easily found online and everyone in the dealership has a computer and a cell phone.

HORRIFIC.... Never will I EVER IN MY LIFE recommend this dealership to ANYBODY. I would not even tell someone that i disliked to come to your dealership BC I would fear of the same service for them. My husband and I have bought/leased a total of 6 cars and I have never felt like such a hassle or inconvenience. Not only were the sales people short with us BC we were in there after close, but my car wasn't detailed and the key fob had a dead battery. When we purchased the vehicle, it was at night so I couldn't see how dirty the car was until the following day when I got into it in the daylight. I was SO EXCITED to drive my new car that I just spent almost $30k on, the biggest purchase of my life, and come to find the filfth inside and outside of the entire vehicle including dead bugs in my interior lights and all over my sunroof. I tried cleaning the vehicle to the best of my ability but became frustrated after 30 minutes and it still looking disgusting. I called the dealership and voiced my concern and was told that the cleaning crew was new so that they would do a cleaning on my car (that mind you should have been done in the first place). I get my vehicle back and there are still dead bugs, dust, and dirt and the floor mats hadn't been cleaned as well. I called back AGAIN, VERY frustrated at this point and spoke to the used car manager who proceeded to tell me that it was not their job to make my car as clean as I would like it BC it was used and they are not trained for that. I finally was able to have them get the dead bugs out of my interior lights before finally just throwing in the towel with the rest of my issues BC I was so sick of wasting my time. Nobody was helpful, nobody cared... I have never felt like such a "bother" to a company. I regret ever coming to this dealership and I advise ANYONE and EVERYONE STRONGLY to take your business elsewhere. All you are is a sale and once it's done they don't care about you or your happiness with your new purchase. The SECOND I can get my loan transferred to another vehicle so they don't have my money anymore I will be doing so, no matter how bad it hits my credit.

I just purchased my first car from a dealership. I had purchased other cars before from private sellers but never from a dealership. I looked at a lot of cars at a lot of other dealerships around town and I was consistently disappointed in the customer service. Either it was lacking or they were straight out rude. Then I found Champion. I worked with Sarah, who I think handles the incoming information requests from the website. She was incredibly helpful and sweet. When I got to the dealership to look at the car I liked, I met Evan Sanchez. He was so so great to work with. So helpful and patient and nice. I couldn't have asked for nicer people to work with. After a day or two I noticed something with the car that I was a little worried about. They had me bring it right back in & they checked it out for me and put my mind at ease. Both David & Sky in the service department were very friendly and helpful. It has been such a pleasure working with them all around. I know there are a lot of bad dealerships and bad sales people out there (at least that I ran in to) and I'm so glad I found my way to Champion. They put me completely at ease and made a very overwhelming and kind of scary process, smooth and slightly less terrifying. :-) I can't say enough good things about the people I worked with at Champion.

The service department is very disappointing. It is impossible to get through to the service department, my service advisor (Bryan) would not return my calls, no update was given about my car until I called multiple times and finally was able to speak to the advisor 2 days after I dropped my vehicle off. No further update was given after that. 2 days later I tried 4 times to reach my advisor to discuss the status of my vehicle because I needed to pick it up as it is my only vehicle and I can not leave it there indefinitely and it was sitting there while they were waiting on "an email from Chrysler". I finally went to the dealership to get my car. I was handed the keys and told, "Here you go." No information about what was found out about my car or from Chrysler or if they were still waiting. No one ever called me to follow up. I called and left a message for the service manager (Jeff) 8/3/18 to discuss the situation and to find out what was done to my car or what they found out as I still need it to be repaired. I waited until 8/10/18 to call and leave another message. I still have not be contacted. Really horrible customer service and I strongly advise you think twice before using this service department.
Response to reply: I'm in your system so you have my contact information. I gave plenty of opportunity for the situation to be resolved before I wrote the review. I will be using another dealership for my service needs from now on.

I had high hopes of taking my Jeep somewhere where the staff was knowledgeable about mechanical issues. Unfortunately, after spending over $500 in repairs, and being sent away with the car TWICE with nothing fixed, I was told that nothing could be done and they do not want to fix it. I was denied a refund on the part that they promised was going to fix my issues.
I feel like they wanted to take the easy way and have me trade in my car for something new. I understand the staff tried to figure out a solution but they way they did business left a bad taste in my mouth and I feel like I just threw away hundreds of dollars for no fix. I would suggest finding another place to take your car.

When I was living in Adrian I leased a 2013 Ram 1500 for two years as my new daily driver and it was a great truck! During that time things changed, I bought a new house, took a promotion and was now living in Lansing. So when it came to turn the truck in, I did what any person would do, call their local dealer to schedule a turn in. Thinking this would be an easy process like it has always been in the past, I called Champion Chrysler (my new local dealer). The person I spoke to said they only have so many "lease turn in spots" available and that they weren't willing to accept my lease turn in since I didn't purchase it there -- I never heard anything like this before. After explaining the situation to her about me living in Adrian at the time and now moving to Lansing she didn't seem to care and suggested that I try another dealer or take it to the original dealer where I purchased it from. However, she did mention that if I was willing to purchase a car or truck from them that a spot would free up...really?! After hanging up and feeling like someone was trying to cheat me I called the next closest dealer, Slingerland Chrysler in Owosso and explained the situation. The lady I spoke to had no problem accepting my lease turn in and even mentioned it doesn't matter where you purchased it from. Obviously, being treated like this at Champion Chrysler has pretty much sealed their fate in me never doing business with them! As a person who loves MOPAR's, Porsche's (have 3), and Aston Martin's (own a DB9), its good to know Slingerland Chrysler will be around when I need to get my MOPAR fix on! Moral of the story Champion will only scratch your back if you scratch theirs first!

Stopped in today to look at a 2011 Chrysler Town and Country. Sean was super nice and courteous, but the van itself was disgusting. It was shown to me with a rancid smell. It was dirty. The A/C didn't work. The backs of the seats were ripped up, and the vehicle was missing dash pieces. When it was brought to the managers attention, he said they would look into getting it fixed, but all in all the vehicle wasn't worth the asking price in my opinion.

I told him my required features, my preferred features, and my dream features- which was all the info he needed to formulate my psychosocial vehicular profile. He hit the nail on the head because I bought the first and only car he showed me... To be clear, this was NOT an impulse buy. Over the last couple weeks, I wasted hours working with slimey sales staff at other dealerships and spent countless hours searching for cars online. Then they call you again and tell you that wasn't the problem and we need way more money then what they told you. On top of that we will need you to pay for the labor the man put in to find the problem that he said he find 3hour ago but that wasn't the problem. So basically you would pay 500 for him to find a problem.. I would never come back here again. Save the trouble and go to another dealership else where

I took my van into Champion for a recall on the rear windows. They fixed it without a problem. While I was there, I asked them to check into the service engine light being on. They said that it is a cylinder two misfire. Champion quoted me a price for a tune up at $350- $400. I called Dodge Customer Service and they said that the issue was covered under two different warranties. The customer service representative spoke to Champion and let them know and scheduled the appointment for the warranty work on the engine. After getting taking it to Champion, I get a call that it was needing a tune up and it is $350- $400. I told them that I want to wait to do any work due to not expecting to pay for anything. I was told that I have to pay $140 diagnostic fee in order to get my van back. After arguing back and forth about being charged for something I didn't need due to it being done the week before, the Champion worker called me at work and then told me to wait while I listened to her check someone else out in the store. They agreed to waive the diagnostic fee. When I got to the store, they had billed again for fixing the window recall even though they had done it the week before. I attempted to correct it, but I was dismissed. I can't help but think they are in the practice of overcharging customers and Dodge.
Anyway, I took my van to a Dodge dealership in the Grand Rapids area. They said it was a cylinder head misfire, covered under warranty, and fixed it free of charge. Champion is dishonest, scheming, and unprofessional.

My first time going was confusing. I wasn't sure where to park or who to talk to; I wasn't really greeted and I stood there aimlessly, the employees must have thought I was just waiting for a car or something, however when I asked the lady at the desk in the garage, she was very helpful and understood it would have been confusing for a first timer. It was smooth sailing after that. The mechanic was nice and the waiting room was very pleasant.

My wife and Idropped into Champion to buy a new truck and were met with an energetic young salesman by the name of Joe Straz. If you are looking for a new vehicle, go to champion and ask for Joe. He spent some time up front making sure he knew what our wants and needs were so he could show us the best vehicles to fit the bill. Through out the experience he went out of his way to ask questions and get feedback so we got what we needed. As a newer salesperson he didn't always have an answer to our questions off the top of his head but he enthusiastically found answers to every question we asked. My wife HATES car shopping. Let me say that again for the people in the back... she HATES car shopping. Joe was easy going and relaxed. My wife said "I'd actually go back to buy another car from him." It may not sound like it, but that is high praise from her!
The rest of the experience was excellent as well. The manager we talked to was very helpful (I wish I remembered his name...) He stopped over a couple times to chat and to make sure our experience was going well and that Joe was doing well. He was a nice calming presence when we needed a break from number crunching and decision making. I wish I could thank you by name but I'm sure you know who you are.

Bought a jeep from here, the experience wasn't as pleasant as I expected because of the following:
- They added $4K, yes $4K, to the vehicle price and made it seem like I'm getting a deal till I showed them the price they had on there website and then they said, oh corporate must have just changed it. Which was a lie.
- They charge a $300 theft guard fee not included in the vehicle price online.
- They charge a $600 "cleaning" fee not included in the vehicle price online.
- They tried to tax me on the extra fees by adding them to the vehicle price.
- They wouldn't separate the cleaning fee from the vehicle price but lowered the amount of in proportion to the taxes on the fees which was $45 because they know they can't charge more than $220 in fees in Michigan but that's how they get around it.
- They tried to charge me $250 for a new plate even though I told them I had a plate twice.
- They gave me a key fob that doesn't work but I'm not even going to bother going back and talking to them about it.
- They gave me almost double the price on the protection program then what I found online through FCA and then brought down the price when I showed them a quote but they kept changing the number so of course I didn't buy it.
- The sales person kept calling me to come in super early on a Saturday, which I did, only to find he wasn't coming and had someone else handle the paperwork.
- The manager just stared at me when I asked him simple questions and wanted me to sign everything without reading a thing, very unprofessional. I felt like his eyes were burning a laser through my head from his intense stares, that or he wanted to punch me. I've bought more than 5 cars and that was the first time I felt so rushed.
I can go on and on but I think you all get the point, if you can, go somewhere else for a better experience. If you must buy from there check the numbers and then check them again because I guarantee you they play with them. And don't buy any of the extras because you can get them cheaper from any other dealership if you shop around, guaranteed.

Leased a 2019 ram 1500 limited with the intent to buy at the end off lease. Purchased their 8 year 100,000 warranty being that it would be cheaper to buy it now then after the lease. I keep my vehicles very clean and try my hardest like most not to scratch or dent them. Well this truck was scratched before I ever left the dealer and I did not catch it when I took possession. They used a paint stick or something to try and hide the scratch. Two days later found the time to hand wash the truck and found 3 scratches 1 that they had covered up. I returned my truck to the dealership and was speaking with a sales manager about how they were going to fix my truck and the timeline it would take. I did not like his answers and got up pusched my chair in a little harder then normal and walked away. I got about 8 foot from the sales manager and he called me a jacka$$ as I was walking away. I will never do business here again. I don't even want to go back and get my truck. I have never been treated with disrespect like that in any professional atmosphere. So now I'm stuck with a $65,000 truck that will have been painted on 3 different body panels within the first 72 hours of having it non of my doings. Now after being called a jacka$$ I feel like one because in the end I'm stuck with something that will never be as good as it once was from the factory. I will say Todd the general manager was so much more pleasant to deal with but with a job title like that it's kinda his job to be. All in all there were many things that I experienced at this dealer that lead to my 1 star rating. Sales person that could not show me how to use every option my limited had to offer. Whoever cleaned the trucks exterior did a very poor quality job. Whoever tried to hide the scratches did very poor quality job. I feel like the exterior was left dirty to hide scratches. KC Reynolds was one of the greatest car salesman I have ever had the pleasure of shaking hands with. He even owns a Ram and talked me through his own lease experience to make me less nervous. He has a lot of product knowledge and wasn't pushy at all showing me numbers. He explained them thoroughly and did such a great job previously, I knew everything I was paying for. I would highly recommend anyone going to Champion for a new car whether they're looking to lease or buy. The people there were more than helpful. I was lucky enough to have Aaron work one on one with me to find the truck that was right for me and within my budget. He was very personable and understanding. I didn't expect to walk out the same day I walked in with a brand new vehicle in my name, but he made it happen. All of the staff was more than happy to answer any questions that I had throughout the whole process, something I really appreciated. GO TO CHAMPION, AND ASK FOR AARON!!

I purchased a Dodge Journey from them last month. Two days ago my coworker noticed my heating shield was hanging. If my coworker didn't notice and my car caught fire with my children in it?!?! I take my car to Champion and am basically told that I have to pay for this to be fixed. They check the vehicles once they receive them and no one noticed that the holes are triple the size they should be? The salesman told me that I would receive a bumper to bumper warranty on the vehicle, when I went to the back to sign paperwork I was told that I only qualify for the used car warranty.... bumper to bumper warranty was the main reason I jumped on the vehicle! My coworker purchased a vehicle last month and had a horrible experience, he noticed scratches all over his hood. I took my SUV to get detailed and guess what....scratches all over. His friend that works at Toyota said we need to contact cooperate and let them know of the issues we ve been having and that s what I plan to do.

Aaron Bennett is a wonderful salesman at Champion Chrysler Lansing. We originally went in get a couple of things done on our Leased Dodge Ram and asked our wonderful "go to" service guy, Brian, who we should talk to regarding purchasing our leased vehicles and he recommended Aaron Bennett. While working with Aaron, whom by the way is very friendly and made that transition a great one, my husband and I were simply checking out the Dodge Challenger Hellcat on the showroom floor. After happily completing the deal on our current vehicles (Dodge Ram BigHorn & Chrysler 300 S) my husband could not sleep for 3 nights over just looking at the Hellcat with 700 horsepower Hemi engine. So, we went back and bought that just a few days later. We would not have dreamed of working with anyone else but Aaron! Well, if Aaron was not at Champion then we would definitely work with Lauren, lol. These guys are amazing and when purchasing a vehicle we all know its almost like purchasing a home...its a long process. They make that process a GREAT, and I seriously mean GREAT process. Every other dealership I have been to does drop in oil changes...I tried calling here, because this is where I got my car, to schedule an oil change but could never get a hold of anyone so I had a day off today and thought I would just drop in. I went into ask and the guy kind of gave me a "duh" you need make an appointment attitude while the customer her was with laughed at me. Cool, make fun of your customers who TRIED to schedule an appointment to begin with.

Not only did I make an appointment, my vehicle was still not ready 4 hours later. After the place shut down and being nearly locked in, my vehicle was pulled up to the front. The best part was the vehicle pulled so hard to the left, it was not possible for the guy not to feel the pull when driving it to me. Since it was closing time everybody left and I was stuck with a vehicle that was nearly undrivable. I had to then take the vehicle back again the next day when where the situation was made right by doing the alignment correctly. I will not be back
update: alignment still not corrected...had to return for a 3rd time with another 2 hour wait. I would not trust this place with a nickel. all I have received was a sorry thus far. just great
