I am embarking on what will probably be a lengthy evaluation. First impressions after 2 visits: the office is exceptionally well organized & efficient; medical assistants are very patient-oriented; doc was thorough and listened to my concerns.
Will update after further visits.

Dropping my rating to 1 star. The get the star for efficiency at imaging. The doc this time did not listen to my concerns (I am a physician). They will not schedule the neurologist s requested referral to a neurosurgeon in their group because I am seeing someone outside their group for a second opinion. Outrageous.

Have a serious degenerative spine condition. Referred here by my PCP (even though I have medicare and have never before required a referral they insisted). Provided all my past records including treatments, MRI, Xrays, etc. After 2 weeks, I called and was told that they are meeting to "consider" my case. 2 weeks later...called back...no news. I could be dead by now. I had had spinal fusion surgery at Barrow in Phoenix 3 years ago. Although successful, there is some ongoing degeneration. So, I finally gave up on this clinic and called Barrow. They make me an appointment (without referral) in two weeks. DO NOT WASTE TIME with this office. It's a total disorganized fiasco.

Took eight months from referral to our initial visit. Took another year for them to get around to running all the tests needed to diagnose my husband with epilepsy. Doctor was terrible at explaining the diagnosis. Threw medication at him and scheduled the followup for two months later. After followup, dosage upped and next visit scheduled for three months down the road. Started experiencing side effects and can't get ahold of anybody for help. Have repeatedly called and left messages for several weeks, no callback. Don't waste your time or money. We're looking for a new doctor.

I liked Dr. Thompson when we went for the initial interview but the process of getting a referral to this place and getting this interview was 10 months wait. And we are exactly a year out and our testing for my son is finally scheduled. We went to this place for my husband with MS and repeatedly told them we needed his tests scheduled so the VA could have the results for upping his disability status... every day I call and every day they tell me I passed on the message to her and she ll give you a call back tomorrow. This has been going on for A WEEK. How hard is it to answer your messages? The longer this takes, the more my husband suffers. Kristin Thompson is awesome, she gets five stars. The other stuff deserves zero stars.

TERRIBLE Rude unsympathetic unprofessional service they say they ll call you back never do you ll be waiting months on until you die till someone calls you back. You don t believe me scroll down and look at the older reviews most terrible reviews I ve ever seen for a professional establishment . Save your time and money and go somewhere else because unless you have a life altering brain tumor you won t receive care here And maybe even then youll be on hold ill leave his assistant a note . DISHONEST ESTABLISHMENT! Cannot explain how much stress this place has endured on me if I could leave a .0 star i would. They ve had repetitive bad reviews for the past two years On both Facebook and yelp do your research before you waste weeks of your time and life that could of been spent getting Actual help and not un filled empty word promises from staff that lead no where.

Dr. Chase who gives me my epidural steroidal injections in my neck every 6 weeks, is absolutely wonderful. I was so scared the first time, that he would not be anything like my old pain management dr in California. But from the first time I met him, he was just as awesome!! This man is so reassuring and very compassionate. He is solely focused on me when he's giving me my injections. He is extremely gentle. He talks to you and wants to make sure you're doing fine and feeling comfortable during the whole procedure. I feel so very blessed that my ins covers him. I wish I didn't have to drive so far too see him, but it is well worth it for me. He continues to give me quality of life which helps me be able to be a Mom and participate with my children instead of being miserable in bed. Happy Mommy equals happy babies. Thank you Dr Chase for all you have done for me and my family!! You are a true Godsend!!

I went to Dr. Song for botox injections for migraines. Not only did she make them worse she would ignore anything I said and was rude to me. I had all my records from my previous neurologist. (From out of town). She just had to read what they did. I guess it was too difficult for her. Also when I asked if I could see a different doctor, I was told no. It would be a conflict of interest. I would NEVER recommend this office to anyone.

Everytime we go to this facility for an appointment, we find staff to be friendly and helpful. Our wait time is minimal.
The check in process is easy and our last visit, Stephanie checked my husband in and took us to the exam room.
She is just a delight and willing to help with questions regarding insurance, etc.

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Adam Reyno...

Had my first appointment today with Dr. Adam Reynolds. Upon arrival received a pleasant experience with front office staff, and Esther one Dr. Reynolds MA's. When the Dr. entered the room with his entourage of three people, one intern, a NP (Barb Lucas) training to work under him, and his personal transcriptionist. He was cordial and professional. After a few questions, a quick review of lab work(results I provided), and a 5 minute evaluation of my severe neuropathy(hands, legs, feet) he proceeded to tell me my med plan. First he concluded that I had a moderate level of neuropathy. I was absolutely shocked! Holding back tears my husband stressed to him that this level he expressed was incorrect. This has affected my quality of life for a long time and in fact my level of neuropathy is very severe. How can a Dr. conclude moderate level of neuropathy after a 10 minute evaluation? I'm thinking he really thinks his superior MD training/experience can evaluate me that quickly after I have been progressively declining the last 5 years of my life? He then ordered stat lab orders-not explained to me. A nerve study done by him(soonest appt. Nov. 9), and a script for topiramate. He proceeded to tell me the side effects except for the massive hair loss that many patients suffer from. The Dr. mentioned the weight loss side effect would be a plus for me. I had a foot ulcer that had me off my feet for 9 months but he did not want to hear much I had to say about any issues I had.He was in such a hurry to go he did not even have the manners to say anything courteous to a first time patient. He was rude, condescending, and disrespectful. He will be doing my nerve study because it must be done by a MD. I must give a great big thank you to his 2nd MA, Rebecca she was a God send for me. She was so kind and caring exactly what I needed after that appt. I just had with the callous Dr. Reynolds. I will be seeing Barb Lucas, NP as soon as the NCV is completed by Dr.Reynolds and Rebecca will be her MA. Hopefully the next review will be 5 stars. This is the first time I have written a review that's how awful Dr. Adam Reynolds treated me.

Doctor ordered a new RX for my disabled client, it didn't get written, called and old rx was mistakenly written, called again several times, issue took 2 months to fix.
Also, explained to nurse that the patient was deaf, as in cannot hear ANYTHING, and she then proceeded to speak to him in a louder voice as if that would help.
Poor follow up by support staff and extremely inconsiderate of my deaf client.

It took a long time to get an appointment w/Dr Sahni. I needed help w/chronic insomnia brought about by neurological problems. She latched onto the RLS part of it & has been prescribing for that from the beginning. Both prescriptions I've been given have proved unsuccessful w/one causing the worse nightmares I've ever had. I was told yesterday I could only notify her about the 2nd unsuccessful medication by email. I tried that before w/the 1st medication & I was ignored. She is unsympathetic/disinterested & I still can't sleep at night.

This place looks pretty and high tech on the outside but doesn't have much to offer on the inside. It's basically a MASH unit for neuro patients that are moved through like it's the DMV. Don't expect to see a doctor either. You will pay the specialist co-pay and wait like you're going to see the specialist, but you're lucky to even see a nurse practitioner. Don't waste your time going here. This place puts profits before patients and they don't care about you or your ailments, just moving you in and out quickly enough for them to turn a profit. This establishment is the antithesis of quality healthcare.

Terrible communication in this office. Expect to be on hold for at least 10-20 minutes every time you call....then be directed to someone else who is never at their desk. A day or two later they will call you back and have to leave you a message because you're at work or otherwise not at your phone. Then you have to call the office back...no direct number to the right person. Now your in this loop. If you're going to run a business well you HAVE to answer the phone! Its bad enough to have to wait for the referral, wait for the approval and wait for the appointment. Waiting on the phone continuously is irritating and shows poor customer service. People that come to this establishment are in pain...try to make it easier for them to get the help they need please!

Edit: I am bumping up to 3 star because Dr. Chase was wonderful and his appt was quick and easy. Fix your phone reception/call back issues and I'd be glad to bump up the rating more.

I have a brain tumor. My first Doctor told me I had 5 years to live, and that was 10 years ago. He in fact told me that I would be paralyzed and may bleed to death on the table.
I then discovered Dr Sanan. He made my wife and I comfortable, answered all my 1,000+ questions, and has been with us ever sense. Dr. Sanan recently referred me to Dr. Hazard. She provided follow up, and she also has tolerated my 1,000 questions. Life is good! I have enjoyed 10 years of problem free living. Now that is something that the first Doctor did not offer me. I was blessed to have found Doctor Sanan.

If I could I'd give this a Zero. After reading these posts I am so glad I didn't make an appt with these people. Their staff is rude and horrible at customer service. Even after my insurance called them to make sure they would accept me, they denied an appt because it was probably not worth their time in $. Glad I read these reviews, so sad though that people like this are in practice.

I just recieved a RATTLING and HEART-BREAKING phone call from my mother who was seen by Doctor Rivero for about TWO MINUTES after waiting for 2 AND A HALF HOURS. He was rude and dismissed her by saying he could not help her. This is somewhere patients go because they are suffering from pain. She wanted to record the appointment but he didnt even give her enough time. To wait for over TWO HOURS is entirely unacceptable in the first place, let alone for people like my mother, suffering from extreme pain and could barely drive herself to and from the appointment. THEN, you are telling me the wait was for NOTHING?????? If there is nothing you can do, that is understandable. But that is something that can be told over the PHONE... which leads me to believe he didn't even give the MRI any actual time or observation before-hand. I would do anything in my power to get this man FIRED. Rivero was terrible and made my mother feel unimportant and like a burden. Keeping him on the staff is a bad call for this establishment. I would not recommend wasting your time here with such doctors who don't care about their patients.

I spent about half of my daughter's visit in tears...

I spent about half of my daughter's visit in tears while being rudely hushes and shushed and then ignored by the neurologist (Monica). No respect was extended to me as the mother of a child that has been sick a lot. And while I choked back tears, she asked my daughter if I am more affected by her issue than she is. Of course my 11 year old, seeing me crying, said yes.... but my child knows that I have calmly cared for her as we have tried to figure this out. Their company website or paperwork asked that I come with details... the more the better. The neurologist definitely did not want details. She instead put pressure on my 11 year old to explain issues she has been having. It is like asking someone about their trip to the store to buy milk. Eventually, you have done it so often and mindlessly that details do not come so easily. Even the date of your last sickness becomes vague. This is how my child is toward her discomfort. She has had it enough that it is just something she deals with and tries to ignore. I cried in the neurology office simply because I knew my child's descriptions were vague and she was not able to focus on specific episodes/symptoms. I tried to advocate for my child and was rudely shushed with loud sounds that a frustrated mother gives an unreasonably fussy child. It was very upsetting to feel like my one opportunity to tell a neurologist exactly what has been happening was slipping away. It bothered me to hear my child later say, "She was being rude to you, mommy, wasn't she?". Needless to say, my child felt ill for the rest of that day, having seen me upset. My main concern for the neurologist was whether my child suffers from Abdominal Migraines or not. I am not sure if that was explained to me or not. Thankfully my insurance paid for our neurology appointment. I was first told that it would not be covered, and I was still willing to go. If I had paid for such ill treatment, I would have asked for a refund. No respect, and definitely no compassion.

This center is totally messed up .See one doctor ,they refer you to another who sees you once orderds tests and meds and then disappears. I have been having problems with the meds but no one there will deal with the problem . The techs do not relay messages to the right doctors. . Their helo computer system is faulty constantly kicking you out.
They keep telling me to go back to my pcp but they are the ones who odered the meds and the tests. Very poor follow up care and communication with patients is terrible. You leave a message they call back when they can. To bad if you are in a buisness meeting or the shower. You missed the call . They don't call back.

I had an MRI done there and Julio made me feel less nervous and when I started having anxiety, he let me have some more time for medication to kick in. He even let my husband come in with me and hold my leg while having the MRI. This was definitely the best one I've had in several years. These employees are great and totally understand not only the importance of the test but also the feelings of the patients.

The building is clean and nice looking inside. When I have an appointment with my Nero surgeon I have almost none to a small amount time in the waiting room. There seems to be a long wait time for when I had to get shots in my spine tho. So it depends on who and what you are being seen for. But I like it there even if it is about a 30 min drive depending on traffic from my house

Absolutely the most difficult, rude and incompetent medical office ever encountered. Going on 6 weeks to set a first time appointment for my sister. All they take are faxes of which half are "never received ". I was told by a long time patient you have to go in person to get anything done. She was right.

UPDATE: Even after proving my sister did not need a pre authorization they are STILL asking for it. Total, absolute incompetence.

As a medical doctor myself (DVM), I am appalled by...

As a medical doctor myself (DVM), I am appalled by this practice. First, I made an initial appointment for June 12th. They called at the beginning of June to confirm my appointment for June 5th. I told her my appointment was for the 12th, she said no I must have it wrong. Well, no I didn't. I already knew that I was out of town that week, so I would never have scheduled it for the 5th. So then I had to reschedule for another month away, delaying treatment.
Dr Reynolds was very nice but rushed. His appointments must be like 10-15 minutes long. As a doctor myself, that's crazy for an initial appointment. We only spoke for about 10 minutes, albeit my issue is quite simple.
Great. So then he prescribed an oral tablet and an injection. The MA already told me that the oral tablet would likely not be covered under my insurance. She gave me a discount card for the oral medication.
I wait one week - no RX at Walgreens. I contact her, OOPS! It was never submitted. Weeks go by again, not filled. I learn that it needs to fail prior authorization before I can use the coupon. Back and forth many, many times. Each email from the MA becoming less and less useful. The MA said that she sent in the Prior Auth. form a while ago. I called my insurance today (one month later) -- It was never submitted. Ever.
I ended up contacting my own GP last week. She and her MA got the RX and PA done in 5 days. FIVE TOTAL DAYS. I now have the medication one month later - No thanks to them.
If I treated my clients and patients like this, I would be out of business. Unbelievable.

This is a horribly run office with extended wait times and very POOR COMMUNICATION. My husband had blood work done on Thursday March 8th and here it is Friday March 16th and we haven't heard back from anyone. We called on the 15th and spoke with Priscilla the phone operator who said she would give the message to the neurologists assistant and we should here back from someone. Friday the 16th I called at 1pm and spoke to another phone operator named Laurie. I gave her my husbands info and told her our circumstance. She put me on hold and returned saying "I've tried to get in touch with four different people and no one is around so I am going to turn this over to our "office manager" and you should be hearing from someone. At 4:15pm my husband called again and spoke with yet another phone operator named Enrique and he said "I see here on the computer screen that someone will be calling you before we close at 5pm." We'll, of course, no one called and here we sit and wait unable to move forward with any type of treatment because we still don't have a diagnosis. My husband gets weaker by the day but I guess unless you are a family member of the staff here you are going to be waiting a loooong time to be seen. Very poor customer service and patient care.

Do not consider this group with your health. They at first showed compassion for my situation with the group that never called me back with my medical information and were shocked how I was treated. Then after waiting two weeks of paper transferring they told me that my files were on the desk of the Dr. I waited 2 1/2 weeks, calling in between and finally they called and said No we re not taking you. I only have tremors. Why? We re a private business we don t have to tell you. Is it because the Dr.s are colleagues? Again, we don t have to tell you. Lovely people. It was meant to be . Health care workers that don t follow the Hippocratic oath.

Not the best experience, will wait and see provider for 5mins then have meds renewed. Center also does not manage insurance information well and when you try to contact billing department spend hours on hold or waiting for call backs that never occur.
Update after contacting Center regarding bill I received for injections; took numerous phone calls and messages left before messages returned. Received different responses from different people, finally spoke to a supervisor and answer was that bill was high and not what was expected or had been told to me prior to procedure b/c they do not do indepth review on everyone except Medicare patients. So for other patients you are expected to call your own insurance despite the Neuroscience Center telling you that the procedure will cost $150 there will be an additional bill mailed a month after the procedure when they figure out additional expenses. So utilize caution before going for appointments and do research on your own.

We have seen dr nolan three or four times since december 0f 2018. It is may of 2019. We just left our appointment and finished speaking with the manager barb seseli. My entire appointment my sezuires, ear ringing, headaches, and memory loss were blamed on ptsd. I have had ptsd since a young age but was diagnosed around 12. He said the onpy thing that could cause my symptoms was my ptsd. When i have a 5 inch arachnoid cyst he says that they dont cause the symptoms above that i am dealing with. He kept saying i need psychiatric helpnand thatnit was all in my head. After calling me hysterical, asking me to stop talking when i was asking questions, and telling me i was yelling at him. When the only thing i did was have my eyes water after being told i must just have permenant hearing loss and that this was it for me. I can not belive i was called hysterical this is my brain and i am a healthy 22 year old for the most part. This is my life and he has no emotional compassion or ability to treat his patients nicely.

The worst place for care. After 4 years as a patient when my doctor decided to move they gave the option to be reassigned to another Neurologist in the practice. I asked for this, and was lied to that Dr. Tiess was the neurologist they referred me to, she is a nurse. 6 weeks later I find out they lied to other patients the same way, dumping patients with high needs, on a Nurse Practioner, most likely because they didn't hire a replacement. There is no other clinic in Pima county that has a nerve block and a botox clinic, and I am suffering because of this decision. I tried to ask for care until a replacement was found. In fact they ignored this not caring about my care. They claimed my request for a speciality MD vs a NP against my will was inappropriate behavior and denied care for a lie. I do not reccommend this place. The patients needs is last. Business before people.

I have been using The Center for Neurosciences for over three years. I am a disabled man who lives with Chronic pain, along with other issues. My Doctor suggested i try the Drs here.. I met DR Chase, explained my condition, and he went right to the source, eliminating pain in my arm and shoulder that kept me from sleeping, even sitting comfortably. I have been back every few months for the past few years, and I use this office as an example of what i consider the nicest run facility i visit. Yes you have to wait for a return call for an appointment, but they call, and you get in, Dr Chase is one of the friendliest, and most helpful providers I have met. I hope you have the same luck I have

Had my first appointment here with Alex Rogers for Cervical Dystonia. They ran a little late but were quick and efficient and didn't rush me, I felt that he listened to what I had to say and treatment thus far is what I would expect. It's obvious they can run late because they see so many people in a day but don't rush them out the door, which I appreciate and am willing to wait for. I will update this review after my next appointment :)

Update: I still think Dr. Rogers is ok, but I loathe the Dr he is learning under. He is blatantly disrespectful, doesn't give a damn about his patients, and atrocious technique and bedside manner. There is a good reason he is a 1* rated Dr, and I hope Dr Rogers doesn't follow in his footsteps.

My experience at CNS was great up until I had to schedule my MRI. My doctor was amazing, the front staff was very nice, the MA was very nice, the image scheduler was a bit snotty. I think her name was Medori? She would not look at me and kept her eyes on her computer the whole time she spoke to me. She was very quick and short to schedule my appointment. I had no time for questions, almost like she was in a hurry to finish making my appointment. I don't like feeling rushed. Her tone of voice was not very friendly either. I am really shocked to see this time of behavior because the rest of the staff was amazingly friendly except her. I cant imagine how other patients must feel when having to schedule their MRIs. She also did not give me any options on what may be more convenient for me, she just gave a date and time and that was it. Again I felt like I was being rushed. Just an FYI, I came in to get seen for migraines, and it does not help when I have one at the time and someone is treating me like this. I thought the staff is suppose to help the patients? not make them feel worse. That's all I have to say. Other than that, I love my doctor and the rest of the staff.

My initial apt with was Stephanie. That went extremely well. She listened to all I had to say and recommended some tests. I go in for a scheduled test and Dr. Francisco Valdivia came in the room and WOW! Talk about no bedside manners. He looked at the documention and tesst I provided from other Neurologists. So if he wasn't going to perform the test, why was I asked to come in for the test? I DID NOT COME into your office and expect to hear you say "I know that dr and he's good". Franciso, have you ever heard of anyone wanting a second opinion? My systems have worsened. I told him about my concerns with the medication prescribed (had an extermely bad reaction with this medicine previously). I was told to take them - no problem and followup with your primary care dr. No follow up with you??? I'm going to you as a "specialist". YOU should want your patients to follow up with YOU. I was speechless and apt was over.
Now obviously I don't have an issue with your ethnicity because I had scheduled an apt with you. I must say though if you can't speak English enough so I could understand, you should have some patience with me when asking you to repeat your question. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND EFFORT.
I'm asking for my copay to be returned and my insurance not billed. This was NOT an office visit. I fell that you knew ahead of time you were not going to the the test. If this is not handled in this manner, I'm going to contact the state of Arizona. I am not going to take this medicine b/c of previous reaction, but I'd like you to know that if I did (after telling you and your staff that I was scared), and had the same reaction, I would hold you totally responsible.
Now, I do not want to hear from the employee in the back replying to me to call your office...you care. YOU CALL ME and refund me my copay and do not bill my insurance.
I strongly do not recommend this doctor and wish I had read reviews and the FB reviews before I had booked an apt.

Our son has been a patient for many years and we have been very happy with the three doctors that have treated him as a child, adolescent, and adult. Doctors Fike, Talwar, and Teeple have all been top notch, caring, and very good at explaining things. Thank you all!

I am LIVID. After waiting for over 3 weeks to have my referral processed for this location, I call again to find out what the hold up is. Just when I was about to schedule me, I was asked if I had ever been in an accident, I answered yes and was told that I couldn't be scheduled. There was NOTHING on their site to indicate that this would be an issue (particularly since this was an accident that didn't involve brain trauma) and now I've wasted weeks of my life when I could have been getting the care that I need.

I have no complaint about their physicians because I never had the chance to meet with one.

I m 70 and have shingles. I have severe nerve pain and called to obtain immediate help. Instead I was told abruptly to get a referral. We did, then we re told an appointment would be 5-6 weeks out. Astounded I asked if there was a more immediate way in. I was told to have our primary ask for an ASAP status. He did, we we called again and were told they didn t have that service. The receptionist had an attitude and seemed to care less. We gave up.

My wife called the Neurological Center at the University and we we re given an appointment the same day with an exceptional Neurologist.

Have been coming here as long as ive had seizures. When i was young i had a verry nice doc but ofcourse as i got older i switched to one of there normal docs well he ended up leaving they gave me a new one. This woman is not professional i sit out in the waiting room forever then go in and try to talk with her about whats happening and she legit just asks have u had any seizures in the dullest voice and then proceeds to tell me shes uping the dose im on. And tells me shell see me in 6 months ... The visits are like 5 minutes...Mind you ive been stuck on this med(keppra) for the past few years and all she does is up the dose. My seizures have never been controlled. Theyve gotten alot worse. Lets just say if you are wanting actual treatment and help do not go to this pace to get it.

I was very disappointed at the services that I received at the Nero Sciences Center I have been suffering for a couple years now with some things that are masking multiple sclerosis the only thing that the neurologist said that I was assigned to was one give me initial consultation visit and another visit which a tech performed an EEG.. My results from the brainwave scan were negative but it does not out rule other things that may be involved like really bad seizures excetera whatever. So anyway I have been trying to get ahold of my neurologist for weeks on end leaving messages with contact numbers everything to see what the next step that I should do. I always left my name and my phone number first it was only don't have your phone number then I call the med assistant several times to do an update on what has been going on with the issues that I am experienced even greater problems with all cognitive skills except now they had gotten quite progressive in the past few months. Again I got the run-around that my voicemail was not set up in which it was and then I was told that they had called on the phone but no mention on my log of it. Then I was with my primary care physician and finally received the phone call from neurology and she had said that the doctor said that she didn't FEEL that it was NOT NERO related so I asked her what the doctor felt I should do I was left with blank air. I was very discouraged because I've been sitting here for 7 months my symptoms got worse and the doctor declined to either offer me some advice refer me to someone else just left it in the cold. FOR MONTHS I honestly can't say that I recommended this place to do to all the things that I have been through I actually ended up that day when I receive that phone call from the assistant to to try and see if I could get some help...It left my primary care physician another job to do which he shouldn't had to have done. It will be interesting when I find out what's going on and if it is something that is bad and due to the neglect, one should not have to suffer for 7 months and having your symptoms get progressively worse what they could have done is at least could have had me going again redo the EEG and give me further instruction and case of just and dropping it and just not even telling me anywhere to go or what to do next. I found a new neurologist and he was more attentive to my needs and very concerned. As a healthcare provider myself for 30 years never have I left anyone in the dark with unanswered questions. How can a Dr just say she dosen t think it's Neurological after an initial consult and that's it? I will never use this facility again! Make someone suffer like that?

Called to get my family member an appointment ASAP since he was having a hard time getting an appointment in Sierra Vista. The receptionist wasn't helpful at all stated that the office needs to have a referral 1st before scheduling....even though the insurance we have doesn't require one. I will look else where...should have known after reading the rest of bad reviews other patients have posted.

I was told to arrive at 6:30 to fill out paperwork for my 7am appt. I arrived at 6:30 and had to stand outside until 5 minutes before 7. And I was only let in by some random tech looking for his other pt. Sat in the lobby for almost 15 minutes until another random person showed up and went to look for somebody to take me back. When I finally saw Dr. Schroeder he came in with the attitude of that was the last place he wanted to be. (Right before my appt I heard him in his office arguing with some nurse about a pt). At one point during the consult, I tried to clarify what he was telling me to make sure I understood and he actually said to me, "I think I just wasted the last 30 minutes of my time". Really?? That's what you say to a pt who is just trying to figure out why she's in so much pain and what her options are?? Horrible. I will never return to see Dr. Schroeder nor will I ever return to Center for Neurosciences.

Absolutely LOVE the care I receive from NP Amy Tees and her staff! They are so very helpful with every step of my healthcare, I don't know what I would do without her and Anita, I would probably not be able to function. She's been able to come up with solutions for me on several occasions which were last minute, thank GOD that got me through terrible days! I thank her and her staff immensely!

re: Center for Neurosciences, Tucson

re: Center for Neurosciences, Tucson
Had bad experiences with Dr. B. and this Center within the last year. Example: Recently, he made me wait for over 90 minutes. I was on time and never remarked about his delay. I had already been a patient of his for some time, as well as was a 10-year patient of other Center specialty doctors here.
This time, Dr. B. enters my exam room so late (90 mins.): no apology or acknowledgement. Rushes through appt. complaining. Literally grabs from my hand my own notes I had brought in, about my symptoms. He walks out, assistant comes in, returns them to me. He was on to his next patient! No goodbye, no gesture of any kind that he was done!
I made a complaint about this to the Practice Administrator. She said that I could not change doctors, because other doctors there do not want to be conflicted, since they are all friends. So, that's what you get for speaking up to CFN Administration, with a legitimate bad experience. The Center management did not care. There was no empathy whatsoever. I wish I would have known beforehand not to bother.

The wait time to schedule your first appointment is a mess. At least six weeks out and then it's a mid-day appointment. When you arrive for your first appointment there is at least 80 minutes of sitting in the lobby. The Dr. was great, both Sanan and Jacob, and follow-up appointments can be had early in the morning and there is no wait. However, somewhere around noon the wheels fall off and the office is at least an hour behind, as no afternoon appointment has been within an hour of scheduled time.
The Dr.'s really are great; it's just such a shame they are so over-scheduled.

Important with a neuromuscular autoimmune illness to have a site with multiple neuros; many specializing in areas of MS, Memory loss, Seizure disorder and much more. I have been happy with the Center's neuro I see and am comfortable with him following me. They can be busy so always arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes before your appt. time.
It is large with a very comfortable waiting area, clean and well run. Parking on both sides of the building allows for easy access with handicapped parking spaces and easy entry and exit from the building.

I was just at the office with my mom whom had the appointment with a Dr. W. Horace Noland. He made us wait more then an hour and even after his appointment before us went into his office and was on the phone. I know this because a nurse had put us in a room next to him because it was dark, because she was having a migraine. I'm never taking my mom to him again!!

From start-to-end of my visit, I appreciated the very cordial and efficient service received from the staff of CNS, including Dr. Callahan's office assistant (Vanessa), the X-ray technician, and especially the Medical Records staffer (Cinthia R.). They all were very personable, patient in answering questions, and responsive to my requests. Thanks for your service, and please 'keep up the great work relationships!'

I had an appointment with Amy Tees, I never received any paperwork to fill out, as a matter of fact the only contact I received from them was the initial appointment set up phone call and an automated reminder message. I drove 2 hours to for my appointment at 10:15am. I arrived at the wrong location 10 minutes early, realized my mistake and called to let them know the situation. I arrived 10 minutes late (10:25), was told that it was ok because they have a 15 minutes grace period at check in and that I would still be seen. The medical assistant took me to her desk and informed me that the Dr was refusing to see me because I was more than 15 minutes late. If she were to see me it would potentially set her back by 30 minutes and I since I hadn't filled out the paperwork I never received it just wasn't going to happen. They could reschedule me for January. I took a day off of work and had to drive 4 hours round-trip for this appointment... I did everything I could to handle the situation the best way possible, calling ahead etc... Refusing to see a patient because she is 10 minutes late in this situation is absolutely unacceptable.

There is something off here. My boyfriend has been out of his MS medication for over a week. We have been calling nearly every day for at least the past week and they still can't seem to get this issue sorted out.

Communication in this office really needs to improve. If you're going to work in healthcare and deal with such a major part of someone's life, you really need to be on top of it.

Dr. Nolan is truly the best Neurologist that has ever treated me. Dr. Nolan listened to me from day 1. A few times I talked to him for 1 hour and he never rushed me, he answered every question I had, he always gave me hope and I finally felt safe while in his care. He is the kind of Doctor I had been looking for, he will walk to the end of the earth for his patients and will not give up until he is 100% certain you are okay. Dr. Nolan is simply AMAZING. I recommend Dr.Nolan to everyone that needs help, he will NOT let you down more importantly he will not give up on you. I was diagnosed with Epilepsy years ago however I kept having episodes, I finally decided I needed a new Neurologist. My Primary Care Physician(Dr. J Tooley) recommended Dr. Nolan.
My first appointment with Dr. Nolan was amazing, he let me do the talking and wanted to hear everything I had been experiencing for years, he listened to me and unlike so many Doctors I felt like he truly cared and I didn t feel like just a number to him. It didn t take him long to come up with a diagnosis, and treatment plan. Dr. Nolan has changed my life for the better and has gave me my life back. Dr. Nolan has amazing bedside manner, he made me laugh even when I was at my worst, not to mention he is one of the most talented Doctors that has ever treated me. Dr. Nolan is amazing and I recommend this Doctor to everyone. 10/5 Stars!!!

My first experience with this office was amazing. My infant daughter was given a next day appointment and while at the office we waited for 5 minutes until we were called back to see the Dr. Our consultation with her was also a very pleasant experience, however the tech we had for the EEG test was horrible. She should not be allowed to work with kids she had absolutely no patience to handle a child. She made it very apparent that she was frustrated by huffing and puffing and throwing her hands up when the probes she was placing on my daughters head would fall off. My daughter has never cried so much! When she would step out of the observation room where we were being treated I could hear her complaining about us to the other staff it was completely unprofessional. Extremely disappointed with the service we received today.

I called to get an appointment after my grandfather had a stroke. This is where TMC funnels their stroke patients after discharge. They didn t call back for three weeks. I called every week, the receptionist was very rude, she I nvited me to get an appointment elsewhere when I complained that they couldn t get my grandfather in earlier than 2 months out. We finally went to our appointment and waited more than an hour and a half to be seen- after our appointment time. I would not recommend going here. Not sure about the actual Drs but everything else has been horrible!
