Once arriving at 4:30p.m. we had to wait over a half hour for the room to be ready, though they say check in is permitted at 3p.m.

When we arrived at the room, the exterior accent lights were not on at all, but the neighboring apples had lights on. It was snowing and icy, which was dangerous to walk in the dark.

The room itself was very spacious which was great, but the price we paid for one night including the deposit was way too much upon viewing the facilities. Wall paper was crinkling off in the private pool area in various spots enough so that you could see the original wall (would recommend changing that to a mirror). The floor had stains on it, mirrors were smeared in areas, wax was still on the side of our private pool and jacuzzi from the last visit. Dirt was on the floor of the private pool. Wax was on the tile floor. The plastic grip in the jacuzzi was half way ripped off from prior use. The bathroom toilet area had small bits of gunk on the wall. The shampoo, body wash, conditioner provided in the shower also was very bad, the body wash smelled like paint thinner (I did not use this). The heating unit in the room did not work very well. Also no microwave was pleasant, but a mini fridge was in the room, which didn't make sense to me.

In my personal opinion I thought the facilities were very run down for the amount of money I was paying per night and the $100 deposit was uncalled for because whoever cleaned the room last clearly had left gunk from prior visitors in the room. My overall rating would be a 4/10.

Not worth 1,100 for 2 nights. Bad maintenance. Smell like cigarettes. Just bad overall.

Rooms are definitely dated but pool and champagne jacuzzi in room make up for it!

Not a 5 star resort! Dress code needs up graded to make pants and collared shirts mandatory. Hire more wait staff for the club so you can actually get a drink. Up date the interior of the rooms! Keep guests not staying at the resort off the property. I was not impressed by this place and will not return. For the amount you pay per night for a room you would expect a higher level of guest and service. Would recommend finding another establishment to book your getaway with.

Gabrielle, Monica and Yvette were simply outstanding to us along with Yvette and the rest of the great hotel staff during our stay Thanksgiving weekend. We cannot wait to return on Valentine s Day Weekend.

Very disappointed!!!!!! Spent the 450.00 for my husband's birthday when we got to pur room after lugging our backs across a huge parking lot ( no where close to park) we enter the suite I reserved over 3 weeks ago to find people in the room how embarrassing!!!!! So they said they would upgrade us hahahahaa what a joke a heart shaped pool that looks absolutely disgusting ! Two floors well if I wanted to travel up and down steps I would gave reserved a room with steps! Very dissatisfied and I would tell everyone to go to a cheaper place the service is much better!!!!!!

Words can't express how much fun and sex we had here on are 2nd anniversary

Our room location was great, had excellent service with meals and activities, rooms were kept clean, just the furniture was a little uncomfortable and older, wall paper had some water damage but I had and excellent time and enjoyed the delivery service for the special occasion with the balloons and ice bucket from gift shop.

Good ambiance, but mildew on tiles in shower & by toilet... Tiles in our pool room VERY dirty and missing grout... in room door is marked up with scuffs and outside trash, overflowing. Grounds were nice, food was okay, and our pool was warm.
Staff very friendly, but you are expected to pay a gratuity for sever after breakfast & dinner.
Would try someplace different next time.

This place definitely 5 stars I took my wife for her b day and it was the best experience. Everything was great... from the food to the rooms and everything around. U guys have to visit this place u won't regret it. Games and singers were good too

This is what my partner n I needed we enjoyed. This was our first time The ladies n gentleman that check us in was very polite n professional. They make me feel wonderful to be there. The rooms was clean n beautiful I was I little worried cause I read reviews about how the rooms smells n not clean. My sweetheart n I are clean freak, but our room was clean n smell ok. The waitress n wait on us both was very attentive ( Cassandra) . All the staff was wonderful n very attentive. I wish we stay more than one night. It s was so relaxing we both needed that. We will be back n try the other resorts. Love it thanks for a beautiful n great weekend.

We were in the Diana room and were pleasantly surprised. We usually take the Garden of Eden room. We know that these rooms have been recently renovated and it shows. Loved the coziness of this room. The outlets didn't work in the bathroom and there seemed to be a draft problem as the log kept going out in the fireplace. But that was minor compared to the rest of the room.However, the food was once a again a big disappointment and we are far from being picky people. Breakfast not too bad but the eggs at the buffet were dry. The dinners were mediocre at best. Seafood buffet was bland (especially the lobster mac), French onion soup was way too salty and my husband had the veal and said it was really not good. We will not be taking the food option next time we come. Service was good though. We will be coming back to take advantage of the Diana room again.

Its an OK getaway. They could update a little. Even the grout and mirrors show it hasn't been updated for at least 30+ years. Considering you can't travel much now, better than nothing

Nice rooms but could be more clean. Hotel seemed a little disorganized with opening time for some of the amenities.

Celebrating our 14th wedding anniversary. We had our honeymoon here and come back every year! We absolutely love it here.

Me and my hubby stayed here a few times!!! We love to go to Paradise Stream!!! Our room was so amazing , and each and everything was fantastic!!! We always attend any night club shows and they are always fabulous shows !!! We also went on a tour and got to see what all the rooms look like and learn more about Paradise Stream, was an awesome experience!!! We can't wait to go back and are counting the days till we can get back to this amazing awesome place!!

Have been here numerous times for over 33 years...love it here BUT it needs renovating bad...

Dont eat from Cafe horrible food. Service could be improved greatly. Could have cleaner rooms they dont have a fresh scent. Should be consider a motel not a resort.

Our experience was great. We loved our room. The staff was pleasant ESPECIALLY our concierge driver pat!

Worst resort ever go to Cove haven if you want a better experience. Paradise stream is a nightmare it's not worth the money. Staff at the front desk are beyond rude and gave us the hardest time checking in. When we got to the room the swipe card didn't work to get into the room so we had to call the front office and drive back up to the office to get a new card. When we entered the room the 1st thing we saw was RUST in the bottom of the pool. As we walked through the room we saw RUST behind the bathroom door. Nothing looked clean at all. When we went out to the dining room for our Valentine's Day dinner we only had a choice of 5 things and the food was so disgusting that I would have rather left the resort to drive to McDonald's to eat. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY your better off staying at motel 6 before staying here !

My boyfriend & I spent our 2 yr anniversary here, and we are so glad we did! We paid for Lakeside Villa but surprisingly got upgraded to Diana's Oasis for no charge. The room was very clean and comfy. Really enjoyed the pool & jacuzzi, only problem is that the jacuzzi had some brown flakes in it, but we managed to get rid of it all before going in. The morning of checking out, we literally laid in bed debating whether or not we should just book the room for another night haha but unfortunately, we both worked the next day. We did not want to leave, it definitely is a place for couples to escape and enjoy time together. We are already planning our next visit!

Must go! My husband and I went for our Honeymoon. Loved everything about it! From the property, the amenities, the room to the staff! Just got home yesterday and we already wanna go back! Highly recommend for any couple wanting to focus on each other's company and their relationship. We had an amazing time! And as a bonus our room was super clean and food was delicious!

This place was awesome. I booked a room and then upgraded it to a Champagne Tower the day before we arrived....which was a very smart move. The room was awesome. A little warm in the upstairs when we arrived in the room, but it cooled off a bit by evening. We arrived early to just enjoy the place a little before checking in, but, luckily us, the front desk let us check in early, which was completely awesome of them. The lounge was great, as were the staff there. We went on a boat ride which was enjoyable. But with all the amenities in the room, why leave it? I had only one problem. A cricket found it's way into the pool in the room somehow. And while I was sleeping, a cricket found it's way onto my arm. Dont know of it was the same cricket and it kinda threw me for a loop, but the place was still worth the stay. My wife always wanted a Jacuzzi in a room, and this place delivered. Hell, a pool in the room also....Enough said.(Didn't get 5 stars because of the cricket.)

The food was awesome. The wait staff was awesome. What I liked even more is that the manager even came to the table several times as well as other tables to make sure everything was good.

The resort is not the same as it was in prior years. The food on Thursday the 27th was not edible. Poor quality, the beef stew had raw potatoes. We sent our food back and asked for a salad. The appetizers in the lounge ran out and it took almost an hour to refill them. During happy hour, it was always hot appetizers. Now it is veggies, cheese & crackers and that ran out. Alot of FL were disappointed, we expected a hay ride and scare crow making but when we all showed up at 1:00, we were told that the activity was cancelled but in the night club on Saturday, they announced a winner for the scare crow contest. There were a lot of us that were not happy. Our room did not get cleaned until 6:00 on Friday. I had to go to the front desk and ask them if they could send someone to clean it. At check in, I had to ask for our pins, 20% off in the gift shop and free photo coupon. For the number of years we have been going to PS, it just seems that for the money we spend, not only for the rooms but in the night club, the price goes up but the quality has gone down. The only one good part of the weekend was the steak & lobster at dinner. That was very good and it was like the old PS where you always has surf & turf on Saturday. I hope going forward they bring back what we used to get. Even on Halloween there was a pumpkin full of candy treat bags but no bowl of candy to put in the treat bags....hoping things improve so they do not lose long time customers.

Once we arrived our door will not stay closed we had no privacy until security came and had someone fix it once we came back from dinner our door would not open for about an hour we had to have security come and let us back in not romantic at all

I will start off by saying I had an amazing time. My boyfriend and I came to spend our one year anniversary so it was very special and crucial that everything come out perfect.

When we first arrived I was a little nervous because the outside looked dated and the activities are the first thing you see, the golf course and pool etc. Need to be updated for sure , driving past that, the buildings look a little old. So we check in and everyone was nice. We then get to the room and we stayed at the garden of eden Apple(which was beautiful) , very big and romantic. There's a private pool and jaccuzi.

The only problem I had with my room was, the first thing I saw in the pool one tile had rust it wasn't too bad it turned me off, but I kept an opened mind and overall the pool area was spotless, after a two long nights of romance and fun the money was well worth it. So don't judge a book by its cover, and if you get a dirty room, just ask them to clean it or change it, they are really nice people.

Can't say nothing about food did not eat there, venture off there's great places to eat no more than 15 min alway , (and a Walmart) lol

Very romantic setting, no kids anywhere was really great haha... the rooms are huge but they are mostly very outdated. They upgraded our jacuzzi room to a private pool room and the pool was more enjoyable than the jacuzzi.. it was so warm and so amazing! There's also a private sauna in the pool room. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The only complaint I have is the price of the room. It's so expensive we could only stay one night so it was impossible to enjoy all of the amenities since check in is at 3pm and out is 11am.

Overall great experience. Would not recommend the upgrade room packages such as chocolate covered strawberries and champagne with rose petals. That was not given unlimited. It was just for one day.

We were not very impressed with this place. First off, when I originally booked the stay, I was told I would receive an email with all the information I needed about our stay. I never received even after calling back twice. I haven't even gotten a receipt from the place as of yet (3 weeks ago). Secondly, the bridge that led from the main thoroughfare was closed for construction. We could see the resort from the other side of the bridge, but had to back track about 4 miles to get around to the other side of the bridge. This is something that they should tell you about when you are booking. Third, the room was very run down and dirty. It was on the little lake, which was nice. But the trees and vegetation was overgrown and blocked the view of the water from the patio area. When we got there, the patio had some goose poop in a couple of spots. We called to have someone come clean it but it took them a whole day to come out, after we asked for a second time. The rest of the resort was ok, however there was goose poop everywhere. The basketball court, the archery range, and much of the grassy areas. It also seemed like it was pretty run down. Which I didn't see in the video online. In fact, the video for this location had clips from the other locations in their chain. Seems we were misled about how nice the place was. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was for the food. It was fantastic. But after thinking back about the whole trip, I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I won't go back unfortunately. It had the potential for being a great trip, but fell way short. I didn't even receive a customer satisfaction survey after our stay. They probably know already.

The location was easy to find from the Hudson Valley and close to town in case you forgot anything. Check-in was easy and we were able to get into our room early without paying additional fees. We stayed in the Villa styled cottages. The slightly dated interior and the exterior could use a little bit of attention, however, it was private, quiet, clean and spacious. We loved the heart shaped Jacuzzi, the spacious shower for two was a nice treat. In addition, the living room with the fire place and outdoor deck was also a bonus. There was plenty of lighting and some cool features, such as, stargazer lights. However, makeup maybe hard to apply due to the poor bathroom lighting. During our stay it was cold, windy and with light showers, so, we were not able to take advantage of the outdoor activities, such as, biking, Bocci and archery. The fire place is designed to burn manufactured logs which must be purchased separately. But, due to the high winds a down draft came in and almost smoked us out and spread ash everywhere, so, we had to toss it outdoors (quickly). We toured the pool/hot tub area and the entertainment lounge. We, however, were very shy and chose to not partake, but there were activities, games and social opportunities for the more intrepid or extroverted. The dinning area was spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was mostly buffet style with the ability to order some options. Some food was great and other items were average, but you won't go hungry that's for sure. The wait staff were very pleasant. While they do encourage guest to dress up and they do have a dress code, some guest chose to dress poorly (hats, baseball caps, torn jeans, sneakers). However, this is not entirely the resorts fault, many people nowadays take no pride in their appearance and take casual attire way too casual. For a last minute plan this location was nice and we would recommend it. It's not the Ritz, but it is much nicer than a hotel.

Enjoyed my stay here, my suite was nice and intimate. It included its own private jacuzzi and pool along with a private suana room.
Offer room service as well. The space was clean and the wings I ordered were really yummy.
The round bed had wheels though lol. I didn't love that, as the bed kept moving with the slightest touch.
Mattress was comfortable though. Radio in the room was broken, the volume could not be adjusted and it would not connext via bluetooth.
Other than that, all went well and enjoyed my stay and would go again.

I had a great time with my husband at this resort. Despite being in a global pandemic, we were able to enjoy ourselves and our stay. I highly recommend.

beautiful place to be with your couple, me and my wife had a great time, the thematic room urges to do different things and arouses sexual appetite ... I loved it. In plus the resort offers fun activities and events, dinner and breakfast were included in the cost of the room, the food is good and abundant. % recommended.

This place is horrible and I would never stay here again. Such a waste of money the only good thing about this place was the room which was also small and the food was awful. I do not recommend staying here.

Romantic rooms in a lovely location right in the Poconos. Heart shaped jetted tubs in every room. Some rooms also have other features like indoor pools and dry saunas.

Resort is ok, room furniture very old needs updating. Nice view in back, but deck area needs cleaning, not well maintained. The room was somewhat clean, old smelly carpet, jacuzzi was nice but no bubble soap and no candles. Overall I believe it s pricey for what you get..

My husband and I went here on our babymoon. Since I was unable to drink, it was great that there were activities that I could do. I loved the game room and indoor pool/jacuzzi. We played rock n roll bingo at happy hour. When friends asked how the trip was I described it as "cheesy, but fun." We did not purchase a meal plan and ate at nearby Desaki and Frogtown Chophouse (enjoyed both). I would return.

Found mold in adjacent walls and on tile of pool. Exterior side wallpapers were peeling off due to poor maintenance.
Only good thing was the corteous staff at the front desk.
Rooms feel like one is back on the 80s rather than 2016....

Beauty that's not enough to be full. Atmosphere, comfortable. Staff, right there for you. Food, drink's n entertainment,GREAT.

Great romantic getaway! Friendly staff, great food. Always something to do. The resort has that "dirty dancing resort" vibe. The entertainment staff is there for you if you want to join in on activities, nightly entertainment, and outdoor activities as well. The food was delicious as well. A nice getaway!

Came here for my girlfriends birthday and our experience was a little above average. Service and staff were very polite and courteous. Resort could be better maintained. Granted we came in the winter when everything is wet and dead but I ve stayed at other couple resorts during the winter and they look absolutely amazing. Our Lakeside Villa (#212) seemed very clean and no odors. However, it feels very outdated and old the resort and room itself. The carpet is an industrial carpet meant for offices and warehouses (I used to work in home improvement); it s not exactly a romantic touch. The heart shaped tub was a huge plus and everything was in proper working order. Their service and manner is what made me give 4 stars. Overall, our stay was a nice one but find a more updated and modernized resort.

As champagne tower is the main attraction of room ,so resort should provide the items required for creating the foam .

Champagne suite smelled like cigarettes, disappointed there was no complimentary fire lid, champagne bucket or glasses. You could buy all of those in the gift shop

This is our second time coming here! First for our honeymoon; we stayed at the Champagne Towers and then for our vow renewal and 10th anniversary; we stayed at a Lakeside Villa. Each room was vastly different but we loved them both so much! Also guest services are on point! The food and drinks in the nightclub are delicious! And we had a lot of fun dancing in the nightclub (they take requests) and playing a game with a bunch of other couples!! Each and every time we left, it was bittersweet. Loved the stay so much so slightly sad this little spot of "heaven" we had to leave eventually. They really go above and beyond into making it feel like you and your beloved are the only ones there! So romantic...

The room where nice but since the fact that there is no windows it had really pore ventilation and due to still I'm no at the doctor's trying to figure out what is wrong the room was too hot no matter how low I dropped it the room was still too hot

We just spent a beautiful weekend at Paradise Stream, it was a much needed break from the hectic Christmas week! The food and staff were great, and so was the entertainment and games we played. We cant wait to return in a couple of months!!! oxoxox

Being a tad generous with four stars, if I could I'd rate about 3.5. Over all our stay was very nice. Only a couple of issues came up, one of those being the room needed renovations. We were told we were in one of the last rooms to be redone, and though the differences were small it was a little disappointing seeings how there were plenty of other suites available. Another thing, the hot water. We had to call to have our hot water reset several times which was quite bothersome. We had a champagne suite, it seems like a poor decision to not have water tanks large enough to fill even 1/4 of the tub with hot water. Other than those things everything was fine, decor could definitely use an update but it was still cute. We had a great time and the meals were fantastic.

We both plan on returning to Paradise Stream, and the other two resorts in the chain as well. We always have a good time there together

A little out dated but over all a nice week there. unfortunately I did not get the room I was promised.

Food was NOT GOOD. We had breakfast included and our eggs were burned. Toast was served 20min before food. Just not good. Went to dinner and the food was just not good. Staff are nice. The room was great. Wish the pool was cleaned better. Also takes forever to get anything you need ie:towels TP. Drinks at the bar were great. Room service food was ok. So was the food at snack bar. I recommend not eating meals on the property.

Customer service has been great. Only thing is the heated pool could be a little warmer. But overall, great stay. We'll be back definitely!

Visited this location for my anniversary and had a wonderful time. Don t expect everything to be perfect and you will appreciate what this place has to offer. It s outdated but our room Diana s Oasis was clean and perfect size for the two of us. We got drinks and food off of the property so unable to rate the food and service. Housekeeping was great with giving us extra towels upon request, checking in and out was simple and everyone we encountered was so friendly. We didn t do any activities on the resort because we just wanted to spend time in our room, looking forward to our next trip back.

Was threatened to be kicked ot with no refund for bringing our son when booking the hotel was never notified that this was unacceptable

We stayed here for our anniversary. Disgusted by cleanliness. The events and amenities in the rooms are really great, and we really enjoyed the all-inclusive meals.

Everything was fantastic except the room was not very clean, and we found at least 11 live bugs (including cockroaches) throughout our room during our 2 night stay, and there were 6 mouse/insect traps in plain sight in our room which we thought was quite strange.

Management handled our complaints well, but for the price you pay these rooms should be in much better condition and at the very least no bug infestations. This is especially disgusting considering they are "taking extra precautions" for cleanliness during COVID.

We did not have a good experiene here. The sheets were dirty and we found hair between the bedspread and sheet - a lot of black hair. The sheets didn't feel clean. We threw the bedspread off, and pulled the sheets all down except for the one covering the mattress and there was a different colored hair there, too. It was also creepy having a jacuzzi/pool in the room next to ours. We slept with the light on and a chair under the door leading to it.

Champagne room was great! Pool in room and a very comfy round bed. Only thing was that the water pressure in thebshower wasn't the greatest, but was a great time anyway!

Our first experience was not that great. We rent one of the Champagne Tower Suites with pool n fireplace. The mirrors were cracked , the fireplace flute was stuck shut, there was no water pressure and worst of all the mini fridge was not working at all. So Chocolate Covered Strawberries and Wine became worthless. All was brought to the attention of manager with in 45 minutes of our arrival. We stayed 3 days n 2 nights...nothing was done about the fireplace or the fridge. No offer to change rooms or any compensation. I really expected more for over 300 a night. Room 409

And no response other then they will look into it...

The room was clean and enough rom for me and my boyfriend. It was a surprise for his 33rd birthday and he loved it. We stayed in Diana's Oasis which has a pool and Jacuzzi and fireplace in pool area. We didnt use the pool bottom was cracking but the Jacuzzi was awesome. Don't forget to bring your own bottles. Overall very nice.
