We were not very impressed with this place. First off, when I originally booked the stay, I was told I would receive an email with all the information I needed about our stay. I never received even after calling back twice. I haven't even gotten a receipt from the place as of yet (3 weeks ago). Secondly, the bridge that led from the main thoroughfare was closed for construction. We could see the resort from the other side of the bridge, but had to back track about 4 miles to get around to the other side of the bridge. This is something that they should tell you about when you are booking. Third, the room was very run down and dirty. It was on the little lake, which was nice. But the trees and vegetation was overgrown and blocked the view of the water from the patio area. When we got there, the patio had some goose poop in a couple of spots. We called to have someone come clean it but it took them a whole day to come out, after we asked for a second time. The rest of the resort was ok, however there was goose poop everywhere. The basketball court, the archery range, and much of the grassy areas. It also seemed like it was pretty run down. Which I didn't see in the video online. In fact, the video for this location had clips from the other locations in their chain. Seems we were misled about how nice the place was. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was for the food. It was fantastic. But after thinking back about the whole trip, I don't feel like I got my money's worth. I won't go back unfortunately. It had the potential for being a great trip, but fell way short. I didn't even receive a customer satisfaction survey after our stay. They probably know already.
