Wow, I'm really starting to regret placing an order for a firearm here. Placed an order for a firearm on the 16th. They confirmed they received my FFL info very quickly but then from there, nothing. 11 days later, no tracking or update. Their communication is almost non-existent. They haven't replied to 8 out of 10 e-mails and do not answer phone calls. They obviously have some attractive prices on their website (hence 2 stars) for some goods but what benefit are low prices without ANY service and when you don't know if you'll even get the items? Very confused as to what is going on. I thought maybe they were closed over the holidays but nothing is mentioned on their site, on Google or on their phone about closures. Why do they do online business if they can't keep up with the demand? This is a shame.
Edit: Ouch. Downgraded review from 2 stars to 1 star. Order cancelled. Had to cancel my Sapphire card to be sure they wouldn't get money out of it. It's unfortunate Google doesn't allow anything lower. I've done about $1,000 in business with them in the past. They won't get another penny out of me. I'll work as hard as I can to spread the word about how poorly this operation is run. I can't decide if they are a scam or not - end result is the same either way. ANY online shop is better than Botach. ANY.
No response to emails, no response to customer support chat. They took my money and never shipped my purchase. I've contacted the better business bureau. Please stay away from this business.

Free shipping only took 3 days to arrive but the product was insufficiently protected inside the packaging, which was only a padded envelope. The product arrived intact though, so no harm done.
I cannot get ahold of customer service. I have called a total of 32 times, left 8 voicemails, emailed 3 times. I have tried to call when they first open and a few hours before they close spreading out my phone calls throughout the day.
The only time you get ahold of an agent/representative is the # key for military and law enforcement.
Luckily I was able to get my money back, and will never do business with Botach again.
Received wrong scope ordered. Called emailed got a return mailing label to FedEX back. Haven t heard anything about when correct scope will be sent to me. Lack of communication.
I ve been purchasing items from Botach for a while now and just recently had to contact their customer service regarding order issues. Response has been quick and the issues resolved super quickly too! Very happy and will continue to buy from them!

-Around 9/2 out of stock and no back order refill date projection...
-9/13 (Today): I receive and email:
"Do to inactivity on you order, your credit card has expired in our system, and your order for LVL IV armor has been cancelled...
...If you are still interested in these plates, please re-place your order"

I ordered a product from Botach and received it very quick. I had also realized I did not get the discount, when I contacted customer service, they immediately made things right. I am a very happy customer and will continue to shop and buy from them. I would recommend them to all my friends and family.

They sell items that are not in stock, and then just send the wrong colour instead of declining the sale. That's already shady.
Don't bother being gracious about it, because after I returned the item, they sent a different product instead. And yes, it was a cheaper one, and one that I already owned.
I have used several vendors for tac gear in the past, some good and some bad, but Botach has their act together and their prices are outstanding. I was a bit disappointed when the items I order came in a bag instead of a box, but I figure if the items I m ordering can t withstand the handling practices of FedEx and USPS, then they won t withstand actual field use. The free shipping was extremely quick although I absolutely hate when stuff is shipped FedEx smartpost, I really can t complain on this one. Only thing I ask, is that items be shipped in a box. Bags are too easy to get into or damage items. But with the quick shipping, excellent prices and a huge assortment of items from some great manufacturers, I have no reason not to be a return customer.

UPDATE: After multiple attempts to reach Botach, and with help from the Better Business Bureau, my item finally shipped . It took FOUR MONTHS from order date to ship date. I cannot personally recommend botach to anyone.

On the positive side, they offered a great price on the product I want to buy.
All the rest is negative: Ordered a product a month ago and it still has not shipped. They did respond once to an email saying they never received my FFL info -- that's untrue as I have confirmation it was sent by email. We resent the information anyway.
They do not answer the phone, do not return phone messages, do not answer additional emails. Product still hasn't shipped. If not shipped very soon I will be contacting my credit card fraud dept. Such a shame.
Sent wrong item, no way to get a hold of anyone at their office, stay away
I placed my order 8 days ago. I received an email the next day saying my order had shipped. It s been a week now and the FedEx tracking number still indicates that a shipping label has been created but no further progress or communication. Simply creating a shipping label is not the same as shipping a product, this is a misleading business practice.
I ordered two Battle Steel Level IIIA Ballistic Armor Package. There's other options available, but a lot of the higher-rated are sold out. I received the products about a week and a half later or so. Looks to be very good quality. I haven't actually tested them :-). Good customer service.
After placing an order with Botach I found the product elsewhere on the Botach site at a lower price. I emailed them a screen shot of the lower price and they immediately refunded to difference. Excellent online customer service.

LITERALLY THE WORST CONSUMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. Zero communication and zero service.
Original post 6/15: I registered on May 22 and added a couple things to the shopping cart that I was considering while I waited for the product I really wanted to become available in inventory. On May 26th I got the news, "The item you requested is back in stock!" Now, between the two listed dates I got 2 automated communications encouraging me to make a purchase as I left product in my cart. I ended up making purchase for nearly $500 on May 31. Between the 26th and the 31st I received yet another email, "Don't miss out! - There's still time to complete your order." On the 31st I purchased 4 armor plates and some magazines. At that time I don't recall there being any notifications of delays. I figured I'd give them some time considering the state of things and their website's notification of, "Orders typically take approximately 24-72 hours to ship. This of course excludes weekends and/or national and Jewish holidays. If your order is placed at the end of our business day and/or weekend, you must take our business hours into consideration." After 5 business days on June 6th I sent a follow up using their internal communication system. Based on their responses to the reviews I eventually read, I would venture to guess that never happened therefore implying I made it up, but time will tell. By Tuesday June 9th still nothing. I decided I'd dig in and see if I could find some information. I was astounded at this company's reputation and now fully understand it. I would go as far as to say their 1 star rating on the BBB is too high. Anyway, I sent two communications that day. One went to cs@ and the other to sales@. Two days later on June 11th I sent two more emails, again sending one to each of the previously listed addresses. Somewhere in there I sent a separate message to their internal messaging system again, but I'm sure "I made that up to" as there is no record on my account. In the meantime I received more automated email from them on June 8th, 9th, and 11th, but again, nothing addressing any of my concerns or even an acknowledgment that they even care that you re reaching out. Best I can tell, the status of two of the armor plates I m attempting to purchase changed and indicated they would ship on June 15th. As of just a few days ago, they re completely out of stock. That s my story. On to what you ve read this far for. Am I going to get the merchandise I ordered on May 31st and waited patiently for? Are you going to show as shipped and never get the package to the shipping organization? Will my order be completely canceled for outlining my experience with Botach? Will excuses be made about the pandemic and Covid? To share some recent experiences with other organizations; I ordered from Shellback Tactical, Opticsplanet, Bulletproof Zone, Bulkmunitions, Eurooptics, Tier 1 Concealed, and Nexbelt and received the products I ordered in less time than I could get an email response or any type of human communication from Botach. All you had to do was say, We re sorry we are behind. We intend to serve you by (insert realistic date) , and me and most of these negative reviews would not even exist. I d like the product I ordered ASAP and/or a realistic expectation of when they ll be delivered. If the plates that were going to ship on June 15th aren t in stock or won t be, cancel my order and I ll take my money to an organization that cares about and respects their customers. An email response is literally too much to ask for...sad for a company with the years of experience y all have, but that s just my unprofessional opinion. Y'all as the professionals would have a better understanding.

Terrible customer service. Ordered an item, specified in notes that they package it with padding as the type of item is easy to damage - and sure enough it arrived damaged with no padding. This was September 1st, 2019.
RMA returned the item, they still haven't refunded me. Ordered a replacement in a separate order to make things faster after Customer "Service" assured me they'd put padding in the package. They did not pad the item and the same item in my 2nd order arrived more damaged than the first.
Called Botach on a Friday and held for a "supervisor", no supervisor became available. The woman on the phone was short with me but assured me they'd get in touch with me later in the day. They never did. They ignored my emails as well.
I'm currently out close to $600 and have now just gone to disputing the charges with my CC company. Absolutely terrible company that cannot put padding in a package when asked not once - but twice.
Sept 20th, and I'm out my money and I do not have an undamaged item. 20 days and they still can't get me a new, undamaged product. Do they care? Not one bit.

I placed an order from botach and waited over a month for my shipment. I finally started calling and emailing them and couldn't get a reply. Luckily I paid with paypal and opened a complaint with PayPal. Only after PayPal got involved did botach finally ship me my products. Buyers beware this is a very sketchy company. I will never buy from these clowns again. AVOID this company. If you decide to buy from this place use PayPal or you may never get your stuff.

Received broken flashlight, was told to take it to the manufacturer. They would not return a flashlight they sent me that was defective in the box. I never got to use it. First and last time I place an order here.
Ordered $3000 worth of products, not a single response from their customer service for a simple order status for 2 weeks.
UPDATE - It has been more than a week. Though their customer service did respond once to my email, I haven't heard back from them since. The order status has not been updated either.
i have dealt with this company in the past without complaint but as of late they are not reliable they do not answer the phone or return messages. I purchased a suppressor which they transferred to me but never shipped it.

This place has to have the worst customer service ever. I ordered a backpack with a ballistic panel. They shipped the backpack but not the ballistic panel. My order is marked shipped on their website. I have sent three emails in almost 2 weeks . No reply nothing, I tried to chat on their website, nobdy there. I even left a message on chat, no response. They do not even anser the phone. They are a rip off!

For the company without any credit, I have been waiting for a week to send an email saying that the price on the website is wrong, so I directly cancelled my order and sent a coupon as compensation. However, the coupon could not be used. A: it's too much. I've never seen such a dishonest company before. I'll tell all my friends never to buy anything from them again.
Order the pistol online. The pistol shows up at the FFL store exactly 1 week later. I have called the customer service twice and the lady provided the helpful information. Everything went smoothly. I also ordered the 6 magazines and they shipped directly to my house as well.

Well, they were the only ones to have 40 cal in stock for a good price, but they cancelled my order, then when I email them to ask why on Thursday, they replied with I see your order was delivered today . It wasn t. I replied back with a screen shot of the order cancellation, and they didn t reply. It s Saturday, and my order just came in this evening. Pretty poor business to lie to your customers in my opinion. Think I d rather just take my business elsewhere. It all worked out in the end, but it was a pretty irritating experience.

Botach has the worst customer service I have encountered while purchasing in the firearms/acc world. I can't seem to ever get a response on the phone or via message, orders have no ETA on shipping and at this point I'd rather pay a few extra $ for some customer service then deal with this type of shady practice. A few feeds from others websites showing products won't go very far if the company can't even bother to service its customers. I'll be overlooking Botach in my future needs.
Ordered in the first week of June 2020 waited a few days as I understand the Health situation has backed up almost every company. I received my package within a week. Amazing prices best I can find thank you guys. Most reviews I read are during shutdown so keep that in mind. Best

I've ordered from Botach for around 6 or 7 years. They always have good prices, a fantastic selection and great customer service. I've never had a problem with shipping speed. I'm patient and all the way across the country and my orders always arrive in a timely fashion. They used to offer free shipping and still do in their ebay store. But even with shipping their prices are very good on the item itself so all in all a great deal. Keep the deals coming Botach, customer for life.

I would give lower than one star if that was possible. Ordered a flashlight through Wal-Mart com, Botach didn't send the one I ordered. They sent another model without any communication to me. Registered a complaint with Wal-Mart, gave Botach a week to contact me which they never did. I guess because they sent what seems ro be a higher priced model that makes it ok. It is a longer and heavier flashlight than what I wanted. The one they sent the package was cut open part way. Wal-Mart said they could refund me and send me a shipping label to ship it back. Will never order from them again!
I won't do business with Botach, Inc. again. Can't tell if they are deceitful or incompetent... would give them no stars but can't.
Good luck getting a hold of anyone from this organization. I placed an order for a ballistic helmet that was supposed to be drop shipped from the manufacturer and paid for 2-day shipping. 10 days later and the manufacturer still doesn t have the order request from Botach. Their message states that customer service and satisfaction is their priority... their follow up and performance says otherwise.

Very dishonest, deceitful company who goes to great lengths to prey on its first responder customers. Exceedingly adept at taking deposits and payments for items not in stock, promised in stock, will ship only to have no items in stock. If it weren't egregious enough, Botach has the audacity to never answer customer phone calls re refunds for these unshipped items. Will be contacting the BBB as well filing a charge-back dispute with Amex and making Botach "famous" across all social channels.

Jonny at Botach contacted me personally and took care of the issue and issued a refund for the cost of the missing items. He also informed me that he had been contacted by three people that had the same issue. Seems new inventory coming from vendor has been missing items.
Very good of Jonny to look into and fix my issue and quickly I might add. Live Chat worked, just in a roundabout way for me.
I will continue being a Botach customer.
Received an order that was short in quantity that was ordered. Called customer service twice only to be connected to voicemail. Left messages with my contact info. No reply. Sent an email via company website. No reply. Tried Live Chat option. After ten minutes, no reply. I only want what I paid for. Either the missing items replaced or price adjusted. Difficult to get anything done if you cannot contact the company.
Outer packaging my order shipped was intact. End flap on an interior box partially torn and items missing from that box. That means they were stolen at the shipping end, or original merchandise arrived missing items from vendor. Either way, the customer should still get what was paid for. (UPDATE - Botach has had issues with new inventory coming from this particular vendor).

I've ordered from Botach 5 times now (they run some killer sales by the way). Every order, I continue to be impressed! They've got fast shipping but, here's the thing, Botach has yet to make a mistake filling my orders. I really appreciate THAT---no contacting customer service for return authorization numbers, no being made to feel like I did something wrong. That's a pretty good outcome. I'll never be their biggest customer but as long as I can still shoot, I WILL be a customer. Thanks guys.

Fast to process your payment, slow to ship, frequently refund your payment days after placing the order citing a "programming error". Zero customer service, and sometimes sell used products as new with no packaging. My dealings with this company are done. Do not waste your time with what appears to be a good deal as it is only a bait and switch with these guys.

Absolutely horrible customer service. They sent the wrong hardware pack for a shotgun stock i purchased. The lady argued with me for a while then finally agreed to send the correct one after i sent her pics of the issue.
A week later she sends me an email wanting a pic to see what i needed. Obviously im not gonna get my replacement hardware.

Purchased a new 92fs in Inox finish at an amazing price. Best part about it was that it is Italian made, even though I was told to expect mine to be made in the USA (not as desirable to me, but still excellent). I am very satisfied with the speed and responsiveness shown by Botach, and will order from them again.

Just now, I got really tired of the ridiculous popups always in the way of where I was trying to read. Not all of the popups are x-able, so, out of frustration, I just quit looking for what I wanted and went to other less-annoying websites.
When I placed an order there was no notice that the items were back ordered. I had to contact customer service 2 times before I received a response. They indicated shipments are FIFO, and that they were receiving inventory every 1-2 weeks. Well, it s now been about 4 weeks without any change in order status. If you need something quickly would advise against ordering from Botach. I have no problem with waiting for inventory, but you should notify your customers before they place an order. Frustrated and feel like cancelling my whole order based on principle. I ll spend my $700 bucks elsewhere.
I ordered a bag from them about Almost 3 week ago as they sent me the wrong item. As I opened a return request, they took their sweet time to accept the return request. I returned the item immediately and I m still waiting to be refunded. This company is horrible at customer service and fail at their job. They should not be in business at all. Buyer beware!!!!!
