I bought a torch lighter in 2014 - the entry level at 170 euros. Recurring problems in the mechanism because Chinese manufacturing .. today I am offered to replace it new for 33 euros while I have never used it. The after-sales service is really of poor quality and did not recognize the failure of the torch lighter and reduces the problem to a shock suffered. It is really shameful for a house that wants luxury.
Ashamed as a service. I'm going home. Neither of the two sellers said hello to me. I came to just buy a product not available on the internet. The purchase would have taken 5 min. They didn't try to make me wait. After 20 min without a hello I asked if I could maybe buy the good in 2 min. I got a "no" from the seller, there are 2 other people. Dupont has luxury only what remains of it before being bought by the Chinese. I have had Mont-Blanc pens for years without any problems. When an 8-year-old fountain pen started to leak, Mont Blanc graciously took charge of the repair; find the mistake... When you call yourself a prestige brand, you already start by having an after-sales service that matches your dissatisfied customers! Dupont? NEVER AGAIN !!!
Shop to run away and avoid. Even if the reception is classy, the service provided is not up to what we expect from a premium brand.
