We were here for hurricane Irma on my boyfriends company. The room was nice, however. There were no paper cups to use, which I thought odd. There were two rolls of toilet paper and no extra - odd with there being a storm, you'd think they would give extra. The biggest let down was being Highly charged for breakfast. I didn't think it was nessecary. As well not having a reasonably priced place to eat open for more than just dinner time.

Beautiful resort and facilities. Many conference rooms for any event. Four dinning options are available on site. Pool site lite fare and drinks to fine dinning inside. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

They made us stay here for a soccer tournament but clearly they hate families here. Pool and pool bar closed at dusk each night and kids who were simply kicking a soccer ball outside where threatened by the staff vs even being warned to calm down at 8pm on a Saturday night. I won't stay here again.

Had the worst experience at this hotel. My first room smelt like mold in building 4 we had to change our room to building 8 witch was still not the cleanest the bathroom was disgusting with dirty towels. We also found Mouse droppings outside our door. There are no comforters on the beds the carpet has huge stains, the pool that was closest to our room was very dirty with some type of bacteria foam growing. The service is absolutely horrendous we asked for towels to siting by the main pool because the chairs they did not look the cleanest and didn t get them until two hours and of course were dirty, we tried opening our umbrella and two bars feel down from the broken umbrella hitting one of my family members in the back of the head no sign saying it s Broken not even pushed to the side it was between to lounge chairs Over all did not have a good stay, staying at Bonaventure spa and resort do not recommend.

The location and grounds we're very nice. The rooms were nothing special, standard fare for the most part. The elevator in our building is very scary it makes loud noises when nearing the top floor and begins to shake kinda like the Disney ride "tower of terror" honestly leaving you worries it might fall or drop. The service has been great overall and I would be happy to come back.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I would. The property is gorgeous--that's about it. The staff was terrible--we were told we would get a confirmation call for a taxi, which did not come. We called the front desk 2 time and spoke with 2 different people--neither of them knew anything about what the other person had done. When we arrived at checkout in the morning, the clerk at the front desk did not know what was going on either and ordered us another taxi--as we were finishing our breakfast we received 3 calls from 3 different taxi drivers--this was an unwanted hassle and embarrassing to tell 2 taxis that we already had a driver. We were told upon check in that breakfast was included in our stay... when I called to check on a mysterious 111 dollar charge to my credit card after being informed that there was a 10$ "resort fee" (which is ridiculous because we paid almost 200$ for one nights stay) I was informed that I was also charged 45$ for the two "complimentary breakfasts". Lucia whom I spoke with in accounting was borderline defiant and demanded to know who told me I had 2 breakfast when only 1 was included in a booking for 2 people... she reluctantly gave me my money back. I will never stay here or at any other property owned by the parent company. All of the reviews about the staff being shady and money grabbing are absolutely true. Stay away from this trap.

I'm not sure how this establishment qualifies as a 4 star hotel. I booked a room with a king sized bed. The room I was given in Building 4 wasn't properly cleaned after the previous guest. There was a used towel hanging on the door in the bathroom and a strand of hair on the toilet seat. I had to request a shower cap and a robe plus extra towels. There was a few questionable stains on the wall in the bathroom and the closet floor wasn't thoroughly vacuumed (there was visible trash on the floor near the wall). There was no fridge, no microwave, and no bottled water inside of the room. When I inquired about that I was told the rooms with king sized beds don't have refrigerators or microwaves (that's only reserved for the rooms with double beds) and they don't leave bottled water in the rooms but I can stop by the front desk to pick up some bottled water. The building that my room is situated in is about a 5 minute drive from the hotel lobby plus it was about 10pm. When I asked if someone can bring the water to my room I was told that they did not have staff to accommodate that request. So I spent the night thirsty and unable to refrigerate my leftover food. The wifi didn't work. There was only 1 usb port in the room and it was located on the alarm clock that was not plugged in. Good luck charging your phone without a plug for the outlet. Aside from this, the layout of the room and the bathroom was nice and spacious. The bed was okay, at least the sheets appeared to be clean. I liked the marble tiled floor in the entryway but this doesn't make it a 4 star hotel. This was definitely less than a 4 star experience from my perspective. Hopefully this establishment will step their game up so that future patrons can have that 4 star quality experience .

We stayed in building 4 and had 2 rooms there and others from our wedding party had rooms in building 3. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable as well as very clean. The grounds are beautiful even with remodeling. Only downside the entire stay for ALL OF US this weekend was the guy working the pool bar Fran. We spent 20 min waiting for him to ask our drink orders and he took only my husbands order out of 4 of us and walked away after giving him his drink and not bothering with the rest of us. Then 15 min later asking the rest of us who were all sitting together what we wanted to drink. We asked if we could order food and he gave us menus....again only took my husbands order and walked away. Not bothering to take my order or the other couple we were with. 10 min before my husbands food arrives he took our order. Then Sunday 2pm my 26yr old son asked to open a tab on his credit card with same guy while we are all at pool he says they cannot do that. He asks if he can charge to room then and Fran tells him no. He asked for lunch menu and he tells him they do not serve food at patio bar...meanwhile we are watching food being delivered. Sent my other son who is 23 to ask to charge drinks to our room with other woman at bar and he has no issue. Fran you were frustrating and threw our rushed wedding schedules off Saturday because you couldn't bother with orders from women. So I had to split my husbands lunch with him and leave. Sunday you were just a jerk. Dont use Fran ask for another staff member. Everyone else there from ground staff to cleaners to desk help were phenomenal!! Great place to stay!

Rooms are still a bit dated, but clean enough. The meeting spaces are great, and after a 6 day conference, I don't think we were served a single meal people weren't raving about. Beautiful outdoor features with the koy pond and pool. Modernizing the guest rooms is the only thing keeping that 5th star off the map.
(Look I to a Ruckus WiFi solution - inconsistent experience with signal around the property)

Not what I expected to find. Rooms are very worn and don't appear to have been updated since the 80s. Room features (tv, ceiling fan, mini fridge, microwave, etc.) vary from room to room. Mattresses/beds are not very comfortable as they are broken down and clearly haven't been replaced in years. No attention to the details evidenced by paint splatters on curtains and windows, interior of shower door not being cleaned, used towels being removed but not replaced, etc. There are 4 restos on site - pool bar, lobby bar 'Zen', lobby resto, and Ireland's Steakhouse. I did not eat at Ireland's as it is too pricey for my taste, but heard it was very good. The limited menu for the lobby bar and resto are the same, and the pool bar has the same menu minus the entrees. The food was just okay (although the catered food for our conference was tasty) and the service was horrible. On the quieter days, it was difficult to get service - we had to flag down a server to clear a table for us, then for menus, then for silverware, then for refills, then for the check. The next night the server took my friend's credit card and forgot he was still processing payment and where he had put it. We had to ask him about it and then he had to go search foe it and ask us several times whether he gave it back (it was eventually resolved). Servers would serve food, not say anything, then walk away. They didn't even check on us throughout the meal. On the positive side, the main pool is lovely. Can't speak to the spa as I did not use it.

Was here for a conference. Carpet in the room we stayed in smelled as well as the elevator. There was no microwave or refrigerator in our hotel room and one hanger in the closet. Had to request additional hangers. TV remote did not work. Despite calling front desk 3 times to replace it, no one responded. Service at the Banyan restaurant on a Wednesday night was horrible. Drink server did not come by our table until we were halfway through our meal. When we requested hot water, the drink server forgot and we had to remind him as we were nearing the end of our meal. The hotel room was very dated and our room view was of a construction area. The only saving grace was the spa staff including hairstylist who were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Do not plan to stay here again.

Went here for a convention. The facilities are dated. Parking is bad and the in house restaurant is HORRIBLE!!! Every year we have to eat their due to no other restaurants in the area. Food is extremely slow to get out, expensive and inattentive service. Pack your own lunch

We dined at Ireland's Steakhouse for a work at dinner. The 14 - oz steak was the most incredible steak I've ever had. Sides included Lobster fries and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, both highly recommended. 5-Stars

Everyone was very nice and helpfull. Especially for us the night manager Baldi, he not only directed us, he actually came and escorted us to the resort at 3 am as we were lost but not far away. Thanks for making us welcome.

The Room was very sad. Cleanliness is not a strong point nor was it comfortable the bed sucked. It felt more like a cheap ghetto hotel room. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. Musty smell was bad other areas of the resort didn't seem so bad but I didn't get to enjoy or use any of it because of the false representation given by Royal Seas Cruises package they are combined with. The outside property really needs to be cleaned up also.

Located in an area of wide circular streets and parks, very beautiful, in Weston near the Sawgrass Mall and the highway to Naples. Internal restaurants, we visited a nice one there. We met him little by step.

This is such a beautiful property! I was able to get a free upgrade using my check in on Yelp, but even without it, this hotel resort is a-MAZING! Great pool area, Jacuzzis, fitness center, spa, restaurants on site and the service has been outstanding. Forget about coming back again, I never want to leave!

As usual, conference rooms are too cold! I did not stay at this resort, but I had other physician friends that did and they didn't recommend it. When friend had to change rooms three times due to various things being broken or working in properly in the rooms. The event parking is also the farthest away from the conference center and across the street with no crosswalks and no lighting at night.

Rooms were adequate but a little overpriced. Our room included a kitchenette which was nice but the room smelled a musty. Internet access was limited. There was a pond behind our building but construction of a new complex behind the pond made for some noisy early mornings. The main pool was large and had a pretty waterfall feature.

I stayed two nights for a conference held at this hotel. The rooms are pretty good although the beds a small. My biggest issue was the male bartender at the pool was rude and unwilling to help guest. We also had an issue at the restaurant that was practically empty but the greeter and waitress had everyone in a line waiting to be seated for over 10 minutes again with plenty of available tables. Also people that were seated had to leave because they were not being helped either and we had only an hour for lunch. The pool is in really bad shape I got my feet hurt at the bottom because the floor of it is broken and pinchy.
The installations are good I just think pool can be refinished and have a better management to take care of the staff issues.
