Not impressed by the company's billing or customer service department.
I contacted them to send someone out as my tenants said their AC was leaking water onto the furnace and there was some pooling in the basement. They said they would dispatch someone to come look, so I waited. 45 min later they called to find out the problem and told me that they couldn't come out that day, but would the following. No problem. They found out it was the furnace filter which was not allowing the cold air to pass. Once again, no problem.
The billing person called me to tell me total, gave her my credit card information, and asked they send the bill & receipt to my home address. My credit card was frozen 2 days later when I went to the grocery store, which is not embarrassing at all. Called the credit card company and someone had entered the expiry date incorrectly several times, freezing the card.
A month later my tenants send me a message there is mail from Boehmers, I pick it up, and its advertising for their service program.
Fast forward another month and my tenants let me know I got a PAST DUE notice from the company letting me know my credit card was declined. Well, if you enter the information incorrectly several times, it will be. But, no phone call, no bill, no notice, nothing. They had my phone number, and my correct billing address, but couldn't be bothered.
I called to pay the bill, and they couldn't care less. The response I got was "I don't issue the bills so I can't help you..."
Definitely won't be using Boehmers again, I'll go back to Delta Air.
Brandon was at my home today for the annual service work on the furnace and air conditioner. What a fine representative for Boehmers/Cronin Emery Service Experts!
He was professional and neat in his appearance and completed all work in a timely yet careful manner. Brandon explained what he was doing and informed me of the condition of each element he checked.

We were very impressed with the quick response to our call during the coldest week of the year so far. Luke, the Service Technician was knowledgeable and clearly outlined our options when he found our old furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and would need to be replaced. He set up an appointment with Al, the Sales Consultant for the same day so we could get heat back in our house as soon as possible. Al also clearly gave us options and prices on heat and cooling systems we could choose from and did not pressure us at all. Our new furnace was installed the next day by Alex and Curtis who were professional and friendly. They went over how to use the new thermostat with us and answered all our questions with a high level of knowledge. We are enjoying the remarkable improvement in heating in our entire house - our old furnace never heated our upstairs bedrooms like this! We were very happy with the service and new furnace from the first emergency call we made to the final clean up after installation of the new furnace - all done within 24 hours!
We had Yuri as our sales guy and he was wonderful at explaining everything and answering our questions, he also came back after the work was done to see if I was happy with the work. Our service technicians were Rob, John, Curtis and Julian and the were very professional, cleaned everything up and went over everything we had done and made sure nothing was damaged.

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from Curtis at Boehmers. Honest, prompt, pleasant, professional, I could go on. I was told my air conditioning unit had to be replaced. I called Boehmers to get a second opinion, and had the unit fixed at way less money within a day. Very impressed.
We recently had the pleasure of having Boehmers/Cronin Emery install a new furnace and air conditioner. I contacted the office, and Yuri was quick to call back and set up an appointment. He arrived on time, and was very professional in presenting the options. We chose to proceed with the Lennox 2-stage furnace and air conditioner. Installation was scheduled within a week.
The installation team of Rob, Jon and Braydon were excellent. They arrived on time, and immediately set to work. They were a well oiled machine, knowing precisely their assigned tasks, and worked very efficiently. They arrived at about 7:30am and completed their work by about 2:30pm. They were careful workers, covering the floors, and didn't knock any of the walls hauling the old furnace out, and the new one in. They even swept the floor before they left. Excellent, couldn't be better.
Yuri made a follow up call the same day, just to check to see that everything was completed to our satisfaction. A very nice touch, and much appreciated.

HORRIBLE service. Technician came on a friday evening. Told us we need a new part and ran out the door. barely even looked at the furnace.
We called on monday asking when the part will be replaced. Told not sure still waiting for it.

After several failures of our old furnace, we needed to get a new furnace and air conditioner. Our installation went very smoothly and quickly. Jon, Rob and Braedon worked hard and did an excellent job.
Quick and professional service, with helpful explanations of what was going on in my furnace, and what to watch out for going forward.
No pushy upselling either.
When our furnace was pronounced kaput by an inspecting technician (Riley), he quickly arranged for a salesperson to drop by later that day. Yuri was a pleasure to deal with as he patiently and thoroughly explained the options for replacing our "dead" furnace. He also arranged for next-day installation.
Alex/Brock were professional, quick and courteous in the installation. They also cleaned up well afterwards.
My only beef: I was told that I could use credit card or cheque to pay the installers. However, they didn't have a machine for credit cards, so paying by cheque cost me a few hundred dollars in lost "loyalty money" on my card. (An expensive miscommunication.)

I can not say enough good things about this Compamy. After our Furnace died, they did everything possible to get our new furnace installed and have the heat back on in one day. After getting estimates from several companies ( and never hearing back at all from one major well known firm ) a friend told as about boehmers .we called them and within the hour they had called back and set up an appointment to come to assess our needs. We wanted a ductless air and heating system installed. Their sales representative Al, discussed our options and in order to make sure that we were making an advised selection, had Wayne, the installation manager come to the house. They even arranged for us to go to a home in our neighbourhood to see what the units etc looked like. We were very impressed. We arranged for installation to be done on September 5th. Wayne was on site before the crew arrived to go over the plan. The three man crew arrived right on time. They put dust carpets everywhere , and worked quickly efficiently and professionally in sweltering heat til 2 pm. They completed the job in what seemed to be record time. They then vacuumed and swept , inside the house and outside , even though there had been little if any disruption or mess. The air conditioning units are quiet and very fast . The house was cooled quickly despite the fact that our doors had been open for 6 hours on a hot humid day.
We have already referred a neighbour to Boehmers Cronin Emery and wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Thanks to Al ( the helpful sales representative ) and to Wayne and his stellar crew of Rob Jon and Shawn They were wonderful to deal with, fun to talk to, and professionals with an obvious pride in their product and company.

I booked an appointment on line on a Sunday night asking to have service the next morning between 10-12:00, not expecting to actually get anything for days as it is a heat wave.
Russ showed up at my door Monday morning at 9:30! I was blown away. He told me what he thought the problem was, and did a few tests to confirm his thoughts. It was an expensive fix, but he advised to do a repair as we could get many more years out of our furnace/AC and it is not worth looking at a new one yet. We agreed. He said it would likely take 3 days to get the part and gave us an accurate price.
Later that day I got a call booking us for Thursday morning, but they would let us know if there was a cancellation.
Tuesday morning at 8:10 am we got a call saying they could come around noon. We were overjoyed as it is close to 40 degrees this week daily.
The young man who replaced the part worked long and hard. He may have been newer as he made several calls. He worked through his lunch, and it took him close to 4 hours to complete the repair, but we had AC, and it was glorious! He was working in the heat, so was not always covering his nose with his mask. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating.
When it does come time to replace the furnace, I will be calling Boehmers.

Bought a new 50 gallon hot water tank and installed 2 days ago. Found odor in the water. I called the office and they immediately sent another technician to come. A leak was discovered and was fixed. Then I spoke to the manager. He made it up by giving me a free service for my furnace. Appreciate the effort to compensate.
My technicians were Rob and Jon. They were both fantastic. They were both very polite and dealt with my frustrations from what I was "sold" very professionally. They showed up on the dot of the time promised, covered my floor with mats to avoid mess (it was raining) and was efficient in completing their tasks. They took the time to walk me through both furnace and A.C. units as well as my new thermostat. They ensured I was comfortable and satisfied to the best of their abilities before they left.
UPDATE: My issue with Yuri was resolved and he delivered what was promised. So I updated the rating to reflect this.
New furnace and air conditioning installed resulting from a service call on my old furnace. Russ did the service call on Friday night, got the old beast up and running within 2 hours of my call. Al came Saturday morning to discuss the options of purchasing a new furnace/air conditioning. All options were discussed and no pressure was felt when making my final decision. Monday morning at 8:15, Alex, Brock and Rob came and within 6 hours installed a new furnace and air conditioner. They were very friendly, helpful with going over the new thermostat and did not leave any mess behind. All the people I dealt with since Friday night were very courteous and understanding, including Karen, who took my panic call on Friday regarding the furnace not working :)
Mark arrived on time and was very knowledgable and helpful. He not only repaired the damage caused by a different HVAC company but he got our furnace back up and running in no time and took the time to explain what he was doing. We will definitely be returning customers in the future and highly recommend Mark.

The first time we met Russ was when he came to service our furnace after we lost heat last winter. He diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly and at a fair price. He then helped me with setting up an inexpensive yearly maintenance plan as our furnace is quite old. Having a reliable person to call has given me peace of mind, especially as a single parent. We are very pleased with the overall experience that we had with Boehmers/Cronin Emery. We purchased a new furnace and AC package through Costco and Yuri the salesperson was very helpful in guiding us through the process, especially the many rebates that were available to us at the time. Installers Alex and Brandon were professional, and knowledgeable. They arrived on time and put in a full day s work even though it was a Friday of a long weekend! In the afternoon Alex informed us that there was an issue with the gas meter but that he had already contacted Union Gas. Union Gas arrived within the hour and installed a new meter. Alex and Brandon stayed until after 6pm to be sure that the gas and furnace were working properly. These guys were great and I would highly recommend them.
My 92 year old Mother in Laws furnace went down sometime late Friday night or early Saturday morning. We called for service on Saturday morning . Russ showed up with in an hour and did an inspection. It turned out we need to replace the furnace. Russ spent time with us reviewing the process and talking about options.
He also contacted Yuri, from sales, in order to arrange for us to meet with him.
Yuri took time to meet with us on Sunday to set up our order.
On Monday morning at about 8am Jon and Brock show up at the house to install the new furnace and they were done about 2pm..
The care and concern that this team showed regarding our situation was above and beyond.

Had a new air conditioner installed by Brandon, Chris and Luke. They arrived on the dot of the appointment time and were very courteous and professional.
Installation was professional and went smoothly. Not 5 stars because they disconnected the water softener drain and it got pinned under the ductwork. Hear a water rushing in the basement to find the hot water heater, furnace and water softener surrounded by water. They left drywall dust on the floor to be tracked through the house by my kids, and I found bits of copper pipe in the lawn, and some of the old exhaust abs in the basement.

After moving into a new (but old) house, the furnace failed in the first winter. I called BCE and their technician came out very promptly, and found that the heat exchanger had cracked and the furnace was unsafe. In -16C temperatures outside, I needed a timely replacement and the BCE team was excellent - the sales rep, Al, carefully and clearly explained my options (including buy or rent), and the new furnace was installed by Jon and Alex and an assistant. They were helpful, professional, and efficient; and I now have a safe and warm home again.

Quick service on the coldest day of the year! Called me to update on ETA for onsite technician. Technician was great and explained the issue with quick fix due to part being on the truck. Way better than experience I had with AireOne guy who tried to convince me to buy a whole new furnace and AC a couple of years ago because the fan blower motor stopped working. That time I ended up fixing it myself with a $2 part ordered from Digikey online.
Boehmers guy looked at my furnace yesterday and said it is showing signs of aging but still generally in good shape. I appreciate the honesty and ethics of Boehmers and would go with them again in the future.
