I booked an appointment on line on a Sunday night asking to have service the next morning between 10-12:00, not expecting to actually get anything for days as it is a heat wave.
Russ showed up at my door Monday morning at 9:30! I was blown away. He told me what he thought the problem was, and did a few tests to confirm his thoughts. It was an expensive fix, but he advised to do a repair as we could get many more years out of our furnace/AC and it is not worth looking at a new one yet. We agreed. He said it would likely take 3 days to get the part and gave us an accurate price.
Later that day I got a call booking us for Thursday morning, but they would let us know if there was a cancellation.
Tuesday morning at 8:10 am we got a call saying they could come around noon. We were overjoyed as it is close to 40 degrees this week daily.
The young man who replaced the part worked long and hard. He may have been newer as he made several calls. He worked through his lunch, and it took him close to 4 hours to complete the repair, but we had AC, and it was glorious! He was working in the heat, so was not always covering his nose with his mask. That is the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating.
When it does come time to replace the furnace, I will be calling Boehmers.
