I was absolutely amazed again, by the response to a service call on Sunday September 30th to Boehmers. From Kiana, who took my call and acted immediately, to receiving a call back in less than five minutes and subsequently, Chris, who attended my residence (an hour later, due to distance) to resolve a heating problem with courtesy, knowledge and professionalism. My appreciation and thanks to each one!
Air conditioner stopped working this summer, called boehmers and the tech came the same day. He was excellent at his job, found the issue immediately with the fan motor and made arrangements to replace it the same day.
They got the new motor and fan to the house and we had air conditioning going again the same day!

We ordered a central A/C yesterday (If you are a Costco member, use it!). They sent Alex and Jon today at 8:30. They worked till 12:30. Everything is done perfectly. They are professional, hardworking and very helpful. We are extremely happy are extremely happy with their work. By the way one of our family member used work with a local charity that helps the poor and homeless. They use Boehmers/Cronin Emery for their HVAC needs as well. On Sunday morning, 11 February, our furnace quit and later was pronounced deceased. I called Boehmers / Cronin Emery. Within a couple of hours a technician arrived, accurately diagnosed the problem and called for a sales person who did show up. We purchased new furnace / central air units. On Tuesday morning CURTIS, ALEX AND CAM SHOWED UP and immediately started working. they were above excellent to fantastic. Russ Cunningham has been servicing our furnace, humidifier and air conditioners in Guelph and now our new home outside Guelph for several years. He has always arrive on time and with the proper equipment to complete the service on our Lennox products in a timely manner. He has successfully corrected any issues with our equipment. Russ has provided advice on the various service plans offered and we purchased them. Additionally he has suggest upgrades to some of the equipment. Russ has always been very personable, takes the time to explain what he is doing, or the suggested upgrades to equipment. As my brother has said it is the people that work for Service Experts and Boehmers/Cronin Emery that sell and resell their products, not advertisements and telemarketers. We recently moved into our rural home and discovered we were eligible to upgrade from oil to gas. After finding boehmer s online I gave them a call and they sent Lisa Schueler out to our home the next day. She spent time getting to know us and our needs. She was kind, flexible, understanding of our situation and even brought us a Starbucks coffee! Her level of customer service was exemplary. She went above and beyond working as our liaison with the gas company to get our line installed and with the technicians. It all came together seamlessly. We are very grateful to her and are very happy with our new furnace.
I had my furnace and A/C installed by this firm after a lot of research. They may not be the cheapest, but they are worth every penny. The company is well organized and very professional. The technician was on time and very well trained in A/C service. He provided answers to all questions. Technician also went out of his way to ensure the cleaning and tuning of the AC system was completed thoroughly and answered all questions, including some great recommendations. He treated the equipment and the home as if it were his own. Safety first by calling in advance and ensuring he wore a mask. Curtis should be given a raise or at least provide training to all the staff on how to meet and exceed customer satisfaction. Well done.
We had a really great experience - we had an issue with our existing furnace that I was worried was potentially dangerous. I first called the number on the existing furnace and they could not come for several days. I then called Boehmers and they had a service person to us within the hour. The customer service person was excellent as well as the service technician. To no surprise we needed a new unit. The sales individual was over later that evening and provided my options - he was great and helpful. The installers arrived first thing the next morning and were quick and professional. An excellent experience all round. When my furnace broke down Curtis was onsite within an hour of my call. He quickly diagnosed the problem and we decided that the furnace needed to be replaced. Yuri was there within an hour to discuss options. Alex & Chris were there the next morning with a new unit and it was completely installed and running by mid-afternoon. Early the following week I noticed a problem with the humidifier and Chris was back out in less than hour to check it out. He got it working immediately. Great teamwork, many thanks.
Got a quote, Signed up and with in 5 days I had a new Furnace and AC. Pretty quick. The system has been every thing presented. All the rebate stuff was handled by Juri our salesman. Called these guys to check out my Central AC as it was not cooling the house even though it was running and blowing cool air. Tech was here for 5 minutes and said I needed a new AC. Seemed odd since the AC was working fine last year and was blowing cool air. The sales guy quoted me an outrageous amount of $4000 for a 1.5 ton unit. That was after a "$200 discount if I kept my current thermostat". Garbage. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. When I messaged him a couple days after, I got no response for 3 days. I finally called and he said he didn't get my message. He said he wasn't able to get me a better deal. Either he wanted full commission or he just couldn't go lower for whatever reason. Super expensive. Horrible service.
I ended up contacting Reliance and their service was great. It wasn't actually a whole new Central AC unit that I needed. I tried to contact Boehmers to get a refund on my $112 service call and spoke to the GM, Wayne Fagan. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. He blamed Reliance for creating problems before I even finished explaining what happened. He refused to credit me my money even after I told him about the bad experience with the sales guy and the fact that a new AC wasn't actually what I needed. I told Wayne I wasn't looking to argue, but was just looking for a refund on the service call. The service call costs the company next to nothing, especially when the tech was here for a whole 5 minutes. I told Wayne I would write a bad Google review and charge back the service call through my credit card provider. He didn't seem to care. Well, Wayne Fagan, here is your review.
For anyone reading this, Reliance has much better service and prices. Wayne also admitted to me over the phone that Reliance will always have lower prices because of the different business models of these two companies and sub contracting. Boehmers also ONLY deals in Lennox AC units. If you just want a reliable and cheap unit (Goodman) that will work and you don't want the Mercedes of units, then you definitely should not use Boehmers.
Lastly, when I first called Boehmers Service Experts I asked the lady over the phone if they had any discounts or promos running. She said there was nothing I could qualify for at this time. When I got my bill/receipt for the service call, it said I could have saved $15. Just another reason their service is garbage.
To whomever moderates these reviews or has authority at ServiceExperts/Boehmers... Maybe you'd prefer to refund me my money before it becomes more of a hassle when the credit card company starts knocking on your door regarding my chargeback.
Was this a savage and downright dirty review? Yes. But hey, if Service Experts don't care about me and my money... Right back atcha. It is with 99% probability I will receive my credit card chargeback and to think that this review will stay on here publicly forever doesn't seem like a great way to stay in business.
All negativity aside, I hope this helps someone make a better choice in the future. I am a first time homeowner and I hope nobody has to go through what I went through. Please do not be sold on the Lennox brand. It's an Air Conditioner, guys. It's just metal with some fins and fluid. You don't need to pay more for no reason. Go look at the reviews for Reliance on Google. Pretty damn good... Doesn't seem like I am the only one with this opinion.
Excellent work by Al and Braedon. Worked efficiently and quietly. Cleaned up to 100% satisfaction. Turned off all lights they had used (trades people often do not). Perfectly confident I am ready for the heating season.
Everyone was friendly and professional. Riley diagnosed our misbehaving 20-year-old furnace as needing a new pressure switch and a new igniter, at which point he suggested we consider a new furnace. Al explained our options, and we chose a new furnace and a new air conditioner. Alex and Brock showed up exactly on time to install the new units. There was a hiccup with the venting, so Jon also then came to help. The three of them were quite chatty with each other, which at first was distracting, but then became comforting (they were happy workers). Everything was completed within the originally-quoted time-frame, and Alex told me everything I needed to know about the filter, the thermostat, and winterizing the AC unit. Thanks, everyone!

Exceptional service! My furnace had stopped working after a power outage so I called for a technician. Erica answered & she was very professional & helpful. She promised a call back once a technician was available & she did call back within a couple of hours. Luke arrived, introduced himself, put boot covers on his boots & began to ask what I had observed. He began his diagnostics & explained everything as he went. Showed me what to do if the problem happened again & made notes on our account. Very professional! Reassuring being a female home alone.

I'm very please with the recent service I received. Our furnace died after 20 years of faithful service so the service man sent Yuri over the next day to discuss all our options. Even over the Easter weekend they got things ready to go and by Monday at 8:30AM Rob & John arrived with all the new equipment, installed an entire heating and cooling system and were out of the house by 4:00PM. They didn t leave a single piece of garbage or dirt, it was like no one was ever there. These guys were pros from start to finish. Very much appreciated and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Excellent experience with this company recently. Sales man Josh is exceptional and very informed. The installers were efficient, respectful, did amazing and tidy work and were over all very impressive.
We had a great experience with the folks at Boehmers/Cronin Emery with our recent purchase of a new furnace.
The technician, Dave was very quick and advised us that we really needed a new furnace. Within the hour the Salesman, Al was in our home and shortly after his arrival and discussing the options, we had chosen a new furnace.
The very next day the furnace was installed by Alex and Chris and a brief assistance with Andrew. These folks were very, efficient and professional. The entire time of the installation they were very careful and tidy, cleaning up and removing the old, outdated furnace. This was all done with out any damage or mess left behind.
All the employees that we had to deal with were very knowledgeable and experienced or well trained.

We just had a visit form Mark Z a Residential Service Technician. He was sent to help us figure out the details of the new thermostat that came with our new furnace. He was VERY helpful, answered all of our questions and even showed us a few things we were unaware the system could do.

I was just getting ready to go on vacation and the day before my 18 yr old central air died. I ended up having to arrange this from my cottage. I had used a different company in the past for my work but was not entirely satisfied with them.
Who to go with? I am one to look for great Google or Homestars reviews and Boehmers/Cronin Emery stood out. Everything was taken care of by these guys and came home to a cool house.
The air conditioner by Lennox is very quiet and it was placed nice and level even though our side yard has quite a slope.
I would highly recommend them.
They came to service my furnace before I purchased my new home as part of the agreement. Once the cold weather hit the following month there was a gas smell on start up. Now 50 days later my house won't warm up to temperature and they want to charge me to service it because "it is out of the 30 day call back" even though the furnace has been on for less than 30 days. A good company would at least come out and see what the problem is from their last "service" and make an effort. Don't call these crooks if you want your furnace to work...
Reputable company. Good technician. Okay sales guy. Questionnable pricing. Suggest getting a competitive quote before making final decision. I did and saw a very big difference for the exact same AC unit. Good luck!

Boehmers replaced our furnace and AC this week, after the 33-year-old Pulse Lennox failed the pressure test. Lisa, the rep, came out the same day the furnace was shut off, and explained all the options in detail, answering all my questions. The following day Rob and Jon, the furnace technicians, came out to install the new furnace and AC. The guys were fast and efficient, answered any questions I had and explained the setup. They were very clean, both in hauling off the old stuff, and in the way they left the place. 24 hours from shut-off to a new high efficiency system. I highly recommend them.

Bad situation turned good. Furnace broke on a very cold January day. Brandon was very knowledgable and was able to locate the problem and fix it in no time.
They showed up to my house to look at my A/C, apparently the Freon had leaked out and I needed a new A/C. I figured I'd go with them to install a new one because I assumed the prices would be competitive. It turned out they only work with lennox, which makes sense since it's a good deal (13 seer 2 ton at 4100 after taxes and installation). They were really pushy about trying to get me to sign, I told the guy to give me 30 minutes to do research on the matter and he seemed hesitant, then I flat out told him either give me the 30 min or else I'd just not go with them. He told me he didn't want to leave and come back to measurements, so I told him to just do it before he leaves? He reluctantly agreed and took his measurements. It probably took the guy 5 minutes to write down the measurements. I ended up getting a Carrier 2 ton 16 seer for 2400 pre tax.

I had Mark Zimmerman come out on the weekend to look at my furnace. Previously I had another company diagnose the furnace and they gave my 6 year old furnace a death sentence. They preceded to site numerous issues and quoted a $7000 hvac system.
Mark was so kind and took a lot of time explaining each of the items the other company suggested I change (that weren't even broken!). He was patient and friendly. And guess what? I don't need to replace the furnace at all...there's nothing wrong with it. Its old, and not the most efficient but it still has life.
I'm grateful I got a second opinion from Boehmers and will without doubt, be doing business with them in the future. Thanks Mark!

We had new furnace and water heater installed this past Monday by Alex & Brock. This was after we had scheduled a furnace servicing on the Friday before, only to discover that we had a cracked heat exchanger. The technician that day (we forget his name unfortunately) was very helpful in explaining our situation and arranging for a sales person to come out almost immediately. All three technicians were friendly, professional and all followed health protocols and took precautions to keep our house clean. The two techs who installed the furnace and water heater made sure to explain our options given the age of our house and conditions surrounding the installation. They even went a little above and beyond by re-routing drain lines and cleaning our AC coil. They explained the systems fully complete with operating and maintenance suggestions. While we may have been able to find a less expensive supplier, based on our experience, we would recommend Boehmers Cronin Emery. We are completely satisfied and now ready for the heating season.
Curtis and Wayne did an excellent job replacing my furnace. There was absolutely no mess to clean up after they left. Yuri thoroughly explained my options for a new furnace without a high pressure pitch. The entire process was a pleasure from beginning to end. Good job guys!

July 20/19 My air conditioner conked out figures during a massive heatwave. Boehmer was very prompt to answer my service call. They sent out Russell Cunningham to service my a/c and he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Turned out to be a capacitor which was a quick fix for a reasonable repair cost. Thanks Russell and Boehmer for top knotch service. Would recommend them to anyone!

We were very pleased with the furnace inspection/service we had in the fall, and I was happy to call back to service the home a/c unit. Chris did a great job replacing the refrigerant and repairing a leak on our home a/c unit, and it was all done on the same day!
