I purchased a used vehicle from BMW of Nashville and, while I was happy with the car I received, the service I experienced from the sales staff and administration has been poor. I had an appointment to view the vehicle I was interested in and the sales person I was supposed to meet with was not available when I arrived. On it's own, this was not a big deal but it turned out to be an indicator of poor processes. When I went to purchase the vehicle, I was forced to wait two hours to complete the process and I didn't even have to go through the process to finance the vehicle - I was paying with cash. Overall, I looked at one vehicle at the dealership and was there for over three hours with the majority of that time spent sitting around and waiting. In the process of completing the purchase, the dealership added an additional $300 charge for a GPS location device that they installed on the car to keep track of inventory. When I asked to have it removed as I did not want to pay extra for it, they told me they wouldn't do it and I had not choice but to pay for something that was obviously installed for the dealership's benefit and not my own. Next, I purchased the vehicle almost two months ago and have yet to receive the title in the mail. My calls to the dealership to figure out why I have not received the title have gone unreturned and the sales rep that sold me the vehicle does not know anything about the process. At this point, I have no idea when or if I will receive the paperwork. Finally, I assumed the dealership would sell me the vehicle with all parts in good condition. After driving the vehicle for less than a week, I had to replace one of the tires because it was worn out. The dealership told me they would reimburse me for that but its been two months and I have not received any payment. I would not buy a vehicle from this dealership again.

This is going to be a mixed review. Some good stuff and some not so good stuff.

The good. They have a nice, friendly staff that listens to you and will try to solve your problem. If I had warranty work, I would go here without hesitation. They appear to be technically competent. if you've been there a few times, you'll have an assigned service adviser.

Now the not so good. I took it in for a oil change (not warranty) and to check (followup) on a recent AC repair that was recently done under warranty (to verify that it was fixed). My regular service adviser was out that day, so I was inprocessed by one person, then handed off to another adviser. An item on the service list (scope) was explained one way when I checked in (free verification of the AC), and an other way when I checked out (reprograming computer) for which I was charged almost as much as the oil change.

At home, the dash started to display the message that I was past my service date (which I just had performed). This came on every time I started the car. Then I started getting emails from the Dealership telling me my car was past due for service followed by a phone call. I made an appointment to go in to have it reset again (I don't live close by). I came in (first in line) and had the computer reset (literally 3 minutes). I asked my regular adviser about the charge for a "scope", to which I was given a third explanation. It's performed on all cars coming in for service; check a bunch of stuff like fluid levels and tire pressure. Wish he had been there when I checked in.

But that's not all. A few days later, I got emails telling me I missed the appointment. I replied via email that I had not missed the appointment; that I was the first one in that morning. I received a reply that it was a computer error, and that it was taken care of. A few days after that, I get a phone call from a California phone number for the dealership in Nashville, again telling me that I missed the appointment, and would I like to reschedule. You can imagine my response.

In summary, they generally do a good job. I think this happened to me because I was handed off to two other people. If it's not a warranty repair, be sure to review every item on the service list very carefully. After the service and before you leave, go to the "service due" screen and check to make sure the respective service has been reset correctly. And try to get your assigned adviser.

Prior to visiting your showroom I was contacted by Amber as I was searching your website. After we decided to come to the dealership Amber assigned David Tran to help us with the process of deciding whether or not to purchase the BMW. David greeted us as soon as we arrived and stayed with us through the entire process from the test drive to sending us off with gifts from BMW and our new car. Everyone at the dealership was very helpful. Mr King the sales mgr greeted us. The man in the BMW shopping area was also very friendly and helpful. Then we met Kandy Blain F&I mgr. She also was very friendly and stepped us through the process of financing our BMW. David Tran went through the entire process of setting up our BMW and explaining and demonstrating the features of our car. He even told us to call him anytime if we have any problems with our car or with any of the features. We had had a very, very bad experience at our local BMW dealer so we traveled from southern Indiana to BMW of Nashville to make our purchase. We were treated very well by everyone at BMW of Nashville at Amory.

Service (recall airbag replacement) was easily scheduled... Arrived and was told that there's two other recalls on my car, they have the parts and will take care of them all... 1 hour and 45 minutes later car is ready and even washed... My only complaint... Wifi internet was malfunctioning and useless... All else great!

Had a great experience buying my Z4 from BMW of Nashville. I worked with David Bartol and he exceeded my expectations, very easy to work with. I found the perfect car I was looking for and drove 13 hours from MN to buy it. Placed a deposit over the phone so it was reserved for me. Once I reached Nashville, David and his team was very prompt in getting the paperworks done and got me back on the road quickly. The car was just as described on the website. Highly recommend them!

If you are looking for the Ultimate Driving Experience as part of your new vehicle search, I highly recommend BMW of Nashville. We drove comparable SUV's at other dealerships, and hands down, we felt the most comfortable with their staff. We were greeted with enthusiasm without pressure. We were given the full tour detailing the differences in the SUV models and the test drives were entertaining and fun. Our decision was easy to make after knowing all the facts. Our X5 xDrive50i Sports Package is the bomb! Thank you John Bergeron, your wit, enthusiasm and knowledge are greatly appreciated! Thank you BMW of Nashville, see you on the freeways.....catch me if you can!

My maintenance representative was very polite, thorough, attentive and helpful. He arranged for me to get a loaner car due to needing 4 new tires.
He communicated with professionalism and took precautions for COVID that were appreciated.

I was a bit perplexed that my car stayed overnight and neither the inside or the outside had been cleaned, which I thought was complimentary.

Overall, the staff was nice, the facility was clean.

Was disappointed that they didn't clean the car. or if they did it was negligible. still spots and bugs etc everywhere. they told me they'd look at tire pressure and the system overview shows that the tire in question had not received any air at all. so i guess i got a $310 oil change.

The service advisor, AJ Becquet, was a complete gentleman. My complaint has nothing to do with him or his treatment of me-he was good. However the vaunted German engineering that is BMW has left a sour taste. My 2014 750i has 17k miles in essence a 6yr old new car. A week before I went in for fluids a friend accidentally hit the button that raised the rear sunshade-it wouldn't retract. I was told the motor and shade were an assembly and would cost 2500 to fix-a feature I've never used. Also, for the previous month when I'd try to exit the car the latch would partially raise but not disengage. BOOM, 1200 or 1500 (don't remember exactly) for the fix. I had to eat that. I can no longer rave about superior German engineering. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful but my next purchase will probably be a Tesla.

In 2016 I took my x5 there after a shop told me the issue was cover under a recall. At the dealership the denied this and charged. I got a notice for similar issue Dec 2017. I took it in jan 2018 for the fix and asked about getting reimbursed for charging for an issue that was in fact a recall. They could not fine my file and also said they would look into it. They never did. I tried to push it a bit more and got the run around from everyone. The customer service approach is kind great but the honesty is questionable. They also returned my car on empty.

I just purchased a 2017 BMW X3 today (6-3-17) from BMW of Nashville which is my first BMW. It was a great experience and received amazing customer service from our client advisor Daniel. He was great. In addition, all of the folks at the dealership were simply a pleasure to work with them. Urge anyone looking to buy a car to talk to the folks here. It will be worth your time!

I have had a terrible experience purchasing my car...

I have had a terrible experience purchasing my car from BMW of Nashville. The customer service was terrible and they have wasted a lot of my time and money driving back and forth between home and the dealership. They didn't properly fix my car so we had to take it back to be fixed a second time. Not only did we have to bring the car all the way back, they made us uncomfortable as if we were inconveniencing them. Then, they never called to tell when car was ready. I had to call every day and finally when I got in contact with the manager they said they car had been ready. It took in total two weeks just to fix a couple scratches. I guess they do not feel the need to tell people when the car will be ready for pickup.

They then never called to tell us when our license plate would be ready and finally on the last days before the temporary plate was to expire we called them and they said lucky us it was coming in today (guess they forgot to tell us again) and when we drove there (again!) it had already been lost. I will never be buying another car from this dealership again. Wasted way too much time and money.

When I initially bought the carfeokmthis dealer ship the sales experience was great, no complaints in that end. Hey who wouldn t roll out the red carpet when trying to get 80,000 from you. After trading in the car I had before I was notified that the previous car had not been paid off in time, as BMW had plenty of time to pay it off from the time of purchase. I contacted the dealer to let them know and only was given the run around. It wasn t until I made an in person appearance that they got on it, after I had to do all the leg work. They were still late with the payment causing a mark in my credit. I was assured that they would fix it and have yet to have anything do anything about it. I have been up to the dealer several times since and still haven t had anything corrected. The dealer also made a mistake on my tags for the car and I have address that as well, they said they would issue a check for a new one. That was in September and today is December with no new tag still!! I have had two tickets which they said they would take care of and have not kept to their word about taking care. This dealership is horrible do not buy from them at all. I bought a brand new BMW and with in two weeks was in the shop due to a malfunction with the seat. When I brought it in I was blamed for the cause of it saying I must have got the seat wet. I had to put the car in the shop at least 4 times before they finally fixed it. The service manager reached out after a bad review I left and said they would send me a check for my inconvenience, but has that been received? No! I would never purchase from them again !!!!

I had driven myself and two passengers from Memphis to Murfreesboro to attend a conference with my car in distress almost the entire trip. Upon arriving in Murfreesboro, I called the BMW service center in Nashville and was glad to find out they were opened on a Saturday until 5 p.m. Many people were there and I thought I would have to spend the weekend. After explaining how my car was driving, the service manager had a technician to ride with me to "hear and feel" the car. The technician suggested it was a tire issue and when we got back that's exactly what it was. Because the service manager knew I was in transit, he said he would do his best to get me serviced that day, which he did. I was pulling out in less than a couple hours relieved that I could safely travel back home.

Had a great experience with our salesman Matt. He knew so much about the Q5 we purchased and really helped us make a decision with his knowledge. Would have given the 4 stars if it weren t for the overcharge they do for paperwork of $599 on a car I paid cash for. I would have taken the title to change it and get the plates for that much. Pretty much a hidden charge and is just a money maker for them.

Repost. In the negotiations of buying our vehicles from BMW of Nashville, they agreed to fixing an oil leak that we discovered. They completely knew the undercarriage of the vehicle was completely rusted. After a couple weeks of owning the vehicle, we noticed rust all over the door jams and the muffler fell off from rust. The frame was also covered. They told us it was inspected and was in great condition. Being from the south, didn't think to look for rust.... They knew it was there and still hid it. They should have sent this one to auction.

Friendly staff at the dealership, focused on doing the right thing for their customers, not trying to always squeeze every last dollar of revenue. Houston Brown is an awesome advisor, and works behind the scenes before and after my appointment to take care of me. The relatively new facility is top-notch as well, with reliable WiFi, coffee/espresso machine, and snacks. Kid-friendly as well. Keep up the great work!

Ben at the location on Armory is very helpful. Seems like he really wanted to help me. A used car I was looking at was at the sister property on Mallory Lane. I went there even though he so graciously offered to have the car moved for me. They dont work for commission... Once there Ms.Luz was also very nice and wanted to help me as much as possible. I havent purchased yet. I am picky and wanting the perfect used car, color etc. But what great people. I hope managment will take notice, and great job in your hiring.

Had a great experience at BMW Nashville with Grant as my service provider. He was very kind and considerate of my time as I chose to wait several hours to have my service completed.

Not only was the job completed to my satisfaction, Grant made sure my car was washed and verified with me that the technician indeed fixed my issue. He walked me through what was fixed and demonstrated that the issue is no longer present to provide extra peace of mind.

The constant communication that Grant provided during my vehicle service was exceptional. He contacted me by phone if I was not in the waiting room to give updates on the status of my repair service. He also made sure I had availability to wait and offered a rental car if I needed to get around.

I believe Grant has set the standard of excellence in customer service for BMW if Nashville.

We never intended to purchase a vehicle upon visit...

We never intended to purchase a vehicle upon visiting as we were there for a service repair. Due to unfortunate circumstance of our car exceeding repairs that were not worth having, the team at BMW were incredibly supportive in helping us through this challenging situation. We set our eyes on a beautiful 5 series and from the beginning our experience was beyond our expectations. From Karen at the service department being so informative and Jim the service mechanic who was so through and transparent regarding what repairs were needed to our vehicle, to Mitchell our sales rep who helped us and talked us through the process. When we got to the finance department we were wary (given our situation and having had a bad past experience with a dealership in Miami) as everyone knows the finance is most daunting part. However, Adam was incredible. He was very direct and clear and we do and don't need and I appreciated that I was being sold on things that we don't need. This kind of service is why I not only would recommend my friends and family to come to this dealership but we will continue to return when the time comes for our next vehicle. We are SO pleased with the support of Mitchell in even getting some minor cosmetic fixes done to the vehicle, following up to make sure we were happy and making us feel like our purchase truly did matter to them. Also a shout out to Elijah who took care of some cosmetic stuff for our car. Thank you to the entire team for taking away the scary from a car buying experience.

The 100 Oaks location has declined immensely since the dealership opened in Cool Springs, which I have not visited. The level of service is no longer what it used to be as you have to wait for hours for simple issues even with an appointment. When asked how long it would be, the answer was "I will see how far behind they are." That tells me they are always behind. In addition, it was suggested that I had some sort of "accident" to damage a sensor that should have been covered with my extended warranty. It was clear my vehicle had never been in an accident. I left without the repair being completed as they estimated the replacement would be $800.

Truly terrible. I have no problem with the way I ...

Truly terrible. I have no problem with the way I was treated but service department is predatory in nature. I own an aviation service company of 50 employees and understand high end service of expensive equipment and owners of said equipment. I brought my car in for overheating and asked for a diagnosis. The charge was $119.95 to tell me I should spend $2633.34 on repairs. I am an FAA licensed aircraft technician and fully understand and am fully capable of working on and fixing my vehicle. I choose to take it to the dealer because I am busy running my business and have no problem supporting maintenance shops that in theory can best and most expeditiously diagnose and fix my issue.

In this case I was told I needed to replace the water pump "$680" because oil had leaked on the connector, the entire valve cover (not just the $40 gasket mind you but the entire metal cover) because it leaked the oil "$1157.81 P&L" and the thermostat because "they go bad when car overheats" $161 but $1368.36 for thermostat, pump and labor"

So the diagnosis for my car overheating that I paid $119.95 for them to tell me is that an oil leak caused it and it will cost $2,633.34 to repair.

SOLUTION:

I bought a valve cover GASKET for $40 it took me an hour and one beer to replace, I cleaned the water pump electrical connection and all is well with the world!

I have over a month and several hundred miles with no issues and none expected.

This is either intentionally predatory or very incompetent and for either I will not be back EVER and would suggest to you that you either get a second opinion or steer clear altogether.

I came in for service because I had a check engine light on. The code showed I needed to replace the catalytic converter which was under warranty. I was given a bill for $2100 for new brakes and rotors , an air filter and an air mass sensor. According to the service center the air mass sensor had to be replaced first to rule that out as the problem. Luckily I had just purchased the car and that dealership replaced the sensor (purchased from BMW for $150 less than they were charging me). Within 50 miles the check engine light came on again, again showing a catalytic converter code and need for replacement. now I have to wait another 10 days for my appointment. While I was treated very nicely and given a loaner car, BMW is clearly putting themselves first, recommending unneeded services at an exorbitant price, instead of addressing my problem.

Though I love my X3, I would never recommend buying a car from this dealership. Almost a year later, I still only have one key to my car because they've failed to provide a second one as promised... they mishandled my trade-in and it ended up at a towing lot and I received a certified letter, and the salesman also failed to return my parking pass (valued at about $400) as promised. They've also never returned a phone call, and I've made about 20. Oddly, I think I'd hear from BMW Financial if I failed to make my payment. It's simply the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any arena -- and I bought a luxury card. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!

I rolled into BMW of Nashville on a Saturday without an appointment while on vacation. I was greated promptly and everyone I spoke to was very polite and helpful. My issue was addressed quickly and I was treated like I was a regular customer. The service advisor was kind and personable and the technician was knowledgeable and thorough. I left very happy after only about an hour with my issues resolved.

The facility is very clean and state of the art. This dealership obviously prides itself on serving its customers and making sure their experience is a pleasant one. This would be my go to dealer if I lived in the area. All BMW owners in the area can feel confident when taking their car in for service or repairs.
