Thank you so much to Ronny and the entire Auto Nation team on our truck buying experience . My wife and I decided to go truck shopping one day and we rode to several other lots and nothing caught our eye. We had a certain budget we wanted to stick with and we ended up at Auto Nation. It was close to closing time when we pulled into the lot and it had started to rain. After a few moment later it started to pour rain and out came Ronny. He had his umbrella in hand and greeted us with a smile. We explained what we were looking for and he was eager to find our dream truck. After test driving several trucks a few days later, we went home empty handed. I got on auto nation's website and there it was, a truck that was just listed on the website it hadn't been on the lot a full day. My wife contacted Ronny about coming in later that day to look at the truck. Once we seen the truck we just knew this was the one. Ronny made sure the truck was perfect before we left the lot. Thanks again Ronny for this experience and after all once you buy from auto nation you're not just another customer, you're family!

At AutoNation Ford in Jacksonville, I received excellent customer service from Al Bott. He found the perfect car for me, but I never felt pressured into buying. I knew as soon as I saw my car that it was the right one for me, and Al made the process of buying a car very easy and enjoyable. I would highly recommend that if anyone is interested in buying a Ford to see Al at AutoNation Ford on Phillips Highway in Jax.

Bought pre owned F 150 with 35k miles on it on Jan...

Bought pre owned F 150 with 35k miles on it on January 15th, 2016. Noticed knocking noise by day 2. Brought the vehicle in to service on February 10th, 2016 , today is March 16th, 2016 and they have not even started on the repair.

With my truck in the shop i had contacted dealer 3 times to provide a vehicle for me to drive, rental whatever. They told me to #$@! off. I complained to Autonation Corporate and finally got a car to drive.

My truck has been in their shop for 36 days and nothing has been done. I have never met a management team so disinterested in standing behind the product than the management team at Autonation Ford of the Avenuues.

Every time i call i get a great story but no results. It's situations like these that give car dealers the stigma that they have. This poor review was earned by the management team at AutoNation Ford of the Avenues.

Update.

Auto nation fixed my motor problem over 3 years ago. And 94k miles later all is well.

Would definitely buy here again.

Great experience with the dealership. It was a pleasure doing business with our sales associate, Dalton Reddick. He was professional and courteous. We particularly appreciated him getting us through the car buying process as quickly as possible on a busy Saturday. The finance department was also very courteous and efficient.

Shameful experience at this dealer, I stop by to test drive a new f150, the manager at this location failed to inform me about rebates and how financing works with the rebates. the manager gave me a purchase the vehicle but the interest rate was 3.99% so I decided to give a call to my bank to see what interest they will give me, to my surprise they gave me 2.99% so I collected the check from my bank to pay for the truck. the moment I siad to the manager that I have my own financing things got ugly, the manager got very upset and unprofessional about the fact that I had my own financing in place, he assumed that I was going to finance with them witch was a lie, I did not commit to a financing option at that time and I said I might do it if the rates are ok for me, then he turn around and left me with my check in hand. Im a business owner and I will never turn my back on my costumers and leave because the costumer did not make me a profit that i was counting on, I can understand that the dealer need to meet a number criteria to make it profitable to do business. I was not informed correctly how the rebates work with the dealer financing I was just given a purchase number to buy the vehicle and that was it, I did call another dealer in Orlando to request information on the same vehicle about $1000 dollars cheaper and the person how talk to me ont the phone explain it correctly the way that the rebates work, they apply all the rebates to the advertised price financing and then see if you qualify for it base on financing option an so on. they took the time to explain that if you have your own financing you will loose about $1500 dollars of rebates, my problem is that if you as a professional manager see the situation just take few minutes to explain it to me and Im pretty sure i would understand and proceed with the in house financing option and then refinance later with my bank of choice , because a bad reaction

Her co-worker said "Bye" going to lunch. Jessica then spoke, and said "I'm hungry too." I left. Pathetic. Your paid to help customers, not make them feel like they are a bother.

Pleasantly surprised as how good a deal they had. 90 day/4000 mile warranty on a 2010 is reassuring. David the salesman was great and finance was nice, but didn't explain their packages very well. It was implied that they have packages including gap and service plans, but now that I read the fine print they are all separate and I paid a pretty penny for each :( Today I went back, and the manager cancelled the packages I want so I ended up giving them 3 stars.

Coming from someone who is in the hospitality business and understands meeting and exceeding customer exepectations - Duane Illingworth went above and beyond! I came in as a walk-in for car service and even though they were incredibly busy, he made time to check out my Ford Escape before a trip out of State. He kept me updated on all repairs and made sure everything was fixed before I left the dealership. Thank you Duane for making me feel like I was the only customer that day (even though I know there were many more!).

Excellent buying experience, the staff treats you with respect like a customer and not prey. No games, no gimmicks. The sales manager sent an estimate on the first email about a car I was looking at online. I couldn't get an estimate from any other dealership. In the end, the price was fair and we left happy. Best buying experience ever. Special thanks to Jose Gomez for really doing a splendid job, made me feel like I was buying a car from a friend.

First let me say go anywhere else to save yourself $800 in dealer fees. They have a fixed price so basically if you want anything done on a vehicle you might be buying forget about it. The car I was looking at had two tires that had very little tread on them. One of the tires had a bubble in it so you know the steel cord in the tire was damaged. The only thing I convinced them to do was put on a set of wiper blades on because the ones that were on there were completely worthless. Of course after I realize they were going to charge $800 in dealer fees I told them thanks but no thanks and walked out. If you re buying used go anywhere else because what they re selling is junk that they are trying to flip quick and make a buck.

EXPENSIVE SLOW service: Took our new Escape in for a simple oil change yesterday. The cost was $48 for the change, which seems outrageous compared to the cost I pay with my other vehicles. Also, despite a scheduled appointment time, it took almost 2 hours to get this 15 minute procedure done. Will look elsewhere for our maintenance in the future.

A new car - less than 3 years old with only 17,200 miles needed tires?????? Why??! I was told goodyear says these are " performance" tires and arent under warranty. Wait, what!!!?! If i knew id have to be replacing these expensive tires this early, i would have not purchased this expensive vehicle. Autonation sales amd service peeps are great, hire ups need to rethink their promises and possibly not take goodyear as a vendor if they cant provide appropriate tire warranties. Totally ridiculous i would expect tires to be replaced at little or no cost, but i dont use the car that much!!!!!!!!!

I went into Autonation Ford convinced I was going to buy the new Camaro 2SS I had just driven at a Chevrolet dealer next door. The Mustang GT I drove convinced me otherwise. The sales staff, Roger and Lance were as helpful and reasonable as I could ask for from the onset of my first internet search all the way through the sale. The finance staff and service staff were also very prompt, professional and courteous. I'd recommend AutoNation Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

No stars from me. We purchased a 2016 Ford Edge, the salesman was great, and we loved the vehicle. One week after our purchase, we had an air bag warning light illuminate. Our service representative worked very hard to satisfy us; management, not so much. After multiple trips and 45 days of attempted repairs (one positive, they provided a rental thanks to our service rep.) we initiated the FL Lemon Law and eventually agreed on a settlement amount. Thirty days later, upon which the vehicle had to be turned in, we have not received the agreed-upon refund. We will now have our attorney represent us.

From the dealership General Manager to the Sales Manager, who stated he "doesn't work for Ford," it is apparent they could care less about the struggles or frustration this experience has created. From the moment this vehicle arrived to the Service Dept., management disappeared. They accept no responsibility whatsoever, choosing to ignore the customer.

We will NEVER purchase a Ford or ANY AutoNation Dealership product again.

This place is my safety net for all my car needs. Apart from providing excellent service, the customer service representative always goes out of her way to make my wait comfortable. Cookies, coffee and tea! I recently just went there to get my side mirror fixed, when it fell out when I was reversing out of my drive way hitting the trash can. Found out there's a recall on my ford that I just bought it's a 2015 under 37000 miles, I called there 3 times to make a appointment was told I will get a call back it's been more than 48 hours, but never did. I think it's funny everytime I call, they have to make me another account, I'm calling the manufacturer today due to it being a recall. It's sad, it's a recall for the transmission programing software, never expected this from ford. Oh well. If this is replied back for calling the general manager and apologizes for my trouble, you can call me I gave you my number 3 times.

If I could give this dealership a zero star rating I would. I have been an avid ford owner since 2007 buying a new vehicle every 2 years for both my business and personal. I have been using Auto Nation for my service needs. I live close to this location so it only makes since I use them for oil changes and warranty work. First time having any significant issues was with the latest purchase of my 2016 F150 limited. For the 4th time bring this 70k vehicle in for warranty work since I bought it in April 2016. Every time I've brought this vehicle in for work I kept saying I'm never coming back to this location. There personnel need some serious coaching on how to effectively deal with customers. I invite all to just try calling the service department, it's met with a voicemail and no they do not call you back. So you walk in to make an appointment and your met by some of he worst customer service techs I personally have dealt with since being a ford owner (2007). Then when they say they need to keep your brand new vehicle for a few days because they don't know what the problem is and have to do some further diagnosing, it is now up to you to fight for a rental car. You'll be met with massive hostility until you finally get ahold of the general manager. Then and I mean only then will he "look into the matter". They'll come back and say "only this one time" will we authorise a rental car. So I decided to truck myself back down to Bozard Ford, I tell them the issue and it wasn't but 5 minutes later, no hassle no fuss a rental car was provided on the spot and a very sincere feeling that they cared about the situation. If I can give any advice is to not EVER use Auto Nation for any of your ford needs.

Over all a good experience for service. Very friendy and it was done on time! I can not say enough how friendly and prompt they were. My only disappointment was I was after getting on the freeway my truck started shaking because they do not balance the tires after rotation. I asked if they did and i was told the premium service contract i purchased dose not cover it. I also purchased the tires 5000 miles ago from a different Ford dealership and still not covered like a normal tire shop. Come to find out the new set of tires was not even correctly balanced. There was old weight on top new weight all over the inside of rim. *Reminder i did not purchase them at AutoNation Ford* but another Ford dealer. Now I'm at a tire store getting all four tires balanced. I will never buy tires from a dealer again. You just do not get the service like you do at places that specialize in tires. Ford is not the only band dealer I had tire issues with after purchasing new sets. My advise let dealer stick to vehicle issues and do not fall for price match on tires or whatever insensitive is advertised.

After a bad experience with a different dealership, we were drawn to Autonation at Phillips Highway from a vehicle on their website. We were initially contacted via phone by Ruben and were set an appointment to few the car. After viewing the car, we decided that one was not for us. Ruben worked diligently with us and found the perfect vehicle. We laid out our buying criteria, price, interest rate, budget, options, and Ruben was able to take care of every bit of it. Every concern we had, Ruben was able to liaise with his management team and remove any barrier we had in order to put us in the vehicle we wanted at the price we wanted. This is now the third vehicle we have purchased with the Autonation group and I very highly recommend them above their competitors. Kuddos to Ruben and his team. We will be back and will remain loyal customers.

I was with a vehicle I bought from this dealership. Some things happened and I ended up more underwater and my last Interest rate was double what a Auto company Cred would have given. Having worked in the auto business I knew it would be almost impossible. But I knew that John Smith would do what he could as he always does. And Rini Scheppen is one of the finest, relentless, caring sales person. We tried every way possible, but alas, I went home accepting because the effort by those two was outstanding. The next day Rini called said he had a vehicle that might work, even better than the one we targeted. Then he found an even better one and asked if he could go ahead and submit it to see if Ford Motor Credit would give us a loan. We all felt the line was tight to get in Ford to finance to use incentives, but John Smith did it!. Rini even drove to south of Orlando to get the car he found that "might work. That same week Ford added a 1000 dollar loyalty bonus. So with all helping, we got a Ford Motor Credit Loan thanks to tireless negotiations by John Smith. I know many people see the word AutoNation and feel like it is not a local dealership that knows the people of Jacksonville and part of some bigger conglomerate. That is not the case. All I know is that I have never seen such relentless efforts in getting a car that would work. They have a great and reasonably priced maintenance and all my maintenance has been done with them.

Don't waist time with other dealers. GO first to AutoNation Ford and talk to Rini honestly as he will do the same and if he sees a glimmer of a deal and you like it he will relentlessly pursue all possibilities to get you a car. And it will really close or better in options to what you asked for in the beginning. Thanks Rini and thanks John!

My husband found his perfect car because two angels has helped us. First my mother in law (she found a AutoNation Ford..,) then the lady who sold his car. Ms Karen Dubin, is a very dedicated and she has patience because my Husband didn t want anything that wasn t perfect and she find it. I am so glad and grateful for this car, my Husband just give me back my car and now he is driving his brand new nice Mustang with everything that he asked for, thank God! Thank you, Ms Dubin. This is an addition to a review I wrote several years ago (see below if interested)....Added a star.....Finally got around to dealing with the airbag recall. Went out to the car to drop it off but it wouldn't start and wouldn't take a jump. Got it towed to AutoNation who told me the battery was shot. I had a warranty replacement on the battery so I asked them to pull the battery and let me know when I could pick it up. Got the battery replaced under warranty and went back to Autonation. Folks in service took the battery and in 10 minutes I was back on the road. Best service I've had in awhile and the front end crew was super nice. Thanks folks!

This is an edit to a previous post where I stated that I had purchased both an extended warranty and the pre-paid maintenance agreement and was having trouble getting the dealership to honor them.

The dealership kept referring to a set of expiration dates that differed from the dates on the contracts I had been given when I purchased the car and agreements.

After a few failed attempts to have these agreements honored based on the expiration dates printed on the contracts I decided to contact the BBB and work with the dealership's general manager, Brad Burnett.

Mr. Burnett was certain that the expiration dates the dealership was using were correct and that the dates I was referencing on the contracts were not. Mr. Burnett look into my issue and uncovered that when I had bought the car and paid for the extended warranty/maintenance the person who had done the paperwork had filled it out wrong but the contracts were clear.....the dates the dealership was enforcing were correct and the dates I was referencing were not.

Mr. Burnett went out of his way to come up with a creative solution that would work for both of us and I am happy to say he succeeded.

IMO - Mr. Burnett and the dealership could have left me hanging or passed me off to Ford itself but instead took the extra steps to keep a customer happy. Thanks Mr. Burnett!!!!!

Terrible service from sales to service desk. T My salesman was obnoxious and kept telling me I would not qualify and was wasting my time. I still got the vehicle. I have been to the service department three times and my brakes still squeal. The people are rude and service is so very slow even if you make an appointment. I will cross the bridge to go to Autonation ORANGE PARK anyway of the week, but will not waste anymore time at this place.

They should focus less time on sales and more on service, When you call you either get eternal on hold or no answer at all, Why even bother having a dedicated service rep if you can never get them on the phone? When you walk in theres 7 guys staring at you, You leave and call back and no ones home. Very frustrating.

I would prefer going to other local service stores than this service center ..

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FORD DEALER, my older dealership used to treat me 1000 times better even when i had my 1998 Toyota !!

Took my F250 for service without an appointment. Laura Stevens hooked me up and got me in and out in 1.5. I was also able to have a brief discussion with the tech who handled my service and he answered a few questions I had. This was the first time I used this particular dealership for my service and I was impressed with the level of customer service they provided!

Clean dealership due to the fact of recently being renovated. I was helped by Lance who did a great job with showing me several cars. The car I decided to go with was a manual, which would be my first manual car. Lance was kind of enough to spend a good amount of time teaching me how to drive it. The only negative we experienced was having to wait for the finance people despite having set up an appointment to buy the car which was a little surprising but they were nice as well once available. Thanks Lance.

The service department at this Autonation is beyon...

The service department at this Autonation is beyond disgraceful! Took my ONLY car in to be repaired on Fri morning as the battery was completely corroded and my car would not turn over and as of Wed morning have yet to receive my car back. Did I mention that this is my ONLY car, I have 5 kids, and no other means of transportation. I was never offered a courtesy vehicle and when I inquired about a possible discounted rate for a rental car, my request was never returned. Although this was over a holiday weekend, I was never informed that my car could not be repaired in a timely manner....we're talking 5 DAYS (so far). I urge everyone to reconsider having your car serviced at this dealership!

I can't say enough about working with Jacob Rothman on the purchase of my new-to-me Escape. The car buying process can be extremely stressful (especially considering I was transferring everything from out of state and was new to town) but he made this process a breeze. I was actually disappointed when all the paperwork was done as that meant I couldn't work with him more.

I have worked in Customer Service for many many years and he is definitely a diamond in the rough. He was quick to answer any questions and made me feel like a priority. He truly went above and beyond to meet my needs and my schedule. I can't wait to really enjoy my Certified Pre-Owned Escape! He made me feel confident with my purchase and answered all of my questions thoroughly. If I had $1,000,000 I would bring it all to buy cars with Jacob!

After having my car for a bit now, I had to come back to brag on the service team ... especially Susan G! She is truly a rockstar. She made me feel comfortable and confident in the services being done to my vehicle. I have worked with other service members, but I will continue to wait for her help. She walked me through the tire purchase process, told me how I could save money, and communicated quickly and clearly about the process and even answered my 100,000 questions with a smile. If you want you and your car treated right, ask for Susan!

Small Inventory, WORST TRADE-IN OFFERS!!!

Let me start first by saying that my Salesman Jacob Rothman was Outstanding. Was happy to help me with everything and anything I asked for. Even on his day off he took my calls and answered any question I had. The dealership itself is a different story, The selection felt like less than half the size of the dealership I actually purchased my Truck from, Duval Ford. Before finding the perfect truck, I made the Mistake of letting the Used Car Sales Manager quote me on my Trade-in a FORD Fusion, HUGE MISTAKE. The offer I was given was abhorrent, I actually went across the street to the Nissan dealership before going to Autonation and was offered $1400 more and that was before any haggling or negotiating. Not only was the offer Terrible, but the Manager Jay Popp felt he needed to Lecture me for what felt like an hour on how "the game" works with used cars and how I would not get a better deal. I can honestly say, after having to sit there and listen to Jay ramble on, for what felt like forever, I was completely turned off by this dealership. Jacob still worked tirelessly to help me and I truly wish I would have been able to make a deal with him. My advice for anyone looking for a good value for their trade-in to look elsewhere. The management at this dealership is the Main reason for a low rating. Duval Ford was Excellent in every aspect of the Truck buying experience.

I went in for an oil change and the clerk stated it would be about an hour. No problem. As part of the service , they also rotated my tires, but apparently forgot to balance them. I left and noticed a vibration, brought the car back, the manager drove it and said yes, there is a vibration so they balanced my tires which took approx 1.5 hours longer. Very upset that a 1 hour service appointment ended up being 2.5 hours.

David Bruton at AutoNation Ford was my service representative when I took my car in for repair.
He kept me informed as to the status of my car repair and everything that he told me was TRUTHFUL!!!
I qualified for a rental car to use while I waited. He arranged this and the car was very nice.
I recommend AutoNation and I will continue to use AutoNation Ford for future service.

Calls to Ford customer service is impossible. Will not buy another or be back for service. I hope this will help make some improvements,

I took my vehicle to get it serviced on Friday May...

I took my vehicle to get it serviced on Friday May 18th. I dropped it of at 7am early I called after lunch and the service representative stated that the car was fixed and was being looked over one more time. I picked up my vehicle at 5:45pm. When the service rep brings the car around he states that he failed to check to see if the Sync 3 system was operating which it is was not. He gives me an invoice of the repair showing both issues and yet here I am with the Sync 3 system still not working and I am still not sure if they fixed the first issue on my car. So my car spent a whole day at the service center with no repairs done period.
Fast forward I get a follow-up courtesy call and I explained to the lady that the issue was not resolved and that there is poor quality assurance and I have never experienced this on any vehicle I have owned at other service centers. She offers a free oil change and that she would pass the information on to the service manager .really oil change that still does not solve my issue. I am contacted by the service manager who leaves a voice message that they can pick up the car for me and get it fixed which I call back on 5/21/2018 and speak shortly with the manager who clearly does not remember who I am and states that he would call me on 5/22/2018 in the morning. Well here I am it is 10:29am on 5/22/2018 and no call.

Is this how Ford AutoNation is going to take care of their customers first you don t check if the repairs were complete, than you tell me bring it back after it was there ALL DAY. Than contact me and offer me a free oil change like that s going to solve my issue, then contact me again and say you will pick up my car but fail to contact me the following day to pick up my car to get the repairs done. If that is how business is done there well I will make sure to pass this information on to other folks to not do business with your service center. It is absurd that a business with the Ford name on it cannot take care of their Ford customers the right way.

If I can give this business ZERO stars that is what I would do because they do not deserve a star rating. Go look at other Ford dealership service centers because you will not get the right level of service at this one.

*****Update****
After posting review I got a voice message stating that the driver and Service Manager were coming to pick up the car what a coincidence. The call did not come in to close to midday which is not the same as first thing in the morning. Then it looks like they proceeded to go to my home even though I said I would be at my job hence the reason of taking my information in the first place.

Now I got a generic response here on google review and the GM wants to make the experience better, here is some advice to everyone business should get it RIGHT in the first place, if you bring your car to be repaired or service it should be completed accordingly. Taking my car back to this dealership is not an option because the trust is not there and I do not trust them to take care of my vehicle when something as simple of checking up on the repairs should have occurred. FORD prides itself on service and quality well you guys dropped the ball.

I don't like to leave reviews like this, but I could not believe this experience. My wife took her car here to get a window fixed and they quoted her a price $200 over what she had paid for the exact repair several months earlier AT THIS DEALERSHIP. They proceeded to argue with her even when she showed them the charge from the previous repair. They then held my wife's car hostage for an hour after she told them she wanted to leave and not have the repair done. Unbelievable!!!!
