So I buy a used car from AutoNation with a 90 day ...

So I buy a used car from AutoNation with a 90 day 4000 mile warranty.

94 days later I begin to have problems.

Long story short... Ive driven the car 3000 miles. Have made three payments and I'm out $4049.60 extra out of my pocket due to the car needing a full engine service, collapsed motor and transmission mounts, and lastly a rebuilt transmission. The certified mechanic said he believes the car hadn't been serviced in a long while.
I believe Auto Nation placed it on their lot and smacked a sales gimmick of 160 point useless inspection on it for a sucker like me to buy. I've gone back and forth with Auto Nation and they refuse to cover any of the cost even when I asked them to split it with me.

Auto Nation, delete me from your database. Stop sending me service statements and extended warranty offers for 300 bucks a month. I am done with you!!!!!! You Suck!!!! I wouldn't buy a damn skateboard from you.

Great, deceitful, stall tactics from you also.

Beware of them! As long as a car runs they place it on their lot without servicing it. My mechanic said the service codes lit up like a Christmas tree during his diagnostic test. I hadn't even had the car serviced the first time by Auto Nation after I had bought it and it has blown up.
Enjoy your profits and continue to provide your customers with your guaranteed bullshyt!

Overall the experience was good, with a minor speed-bump . Originally I was told the service was going to take about 1-2 hours for completion, so I decided to stay at the service area; it was only an oil change an rotation. 4 hours later it was completed. I can understand things getting a little hectic, so I understand the delay, however I was little disappointed no one checked on me or communicated the delay, I had to ask. Not a big deal, just didn t reach 5 stars for me. Overall, I certainly will go back. Staff was nice and there was a comfy enough chair. Next I ll just drop off and assume it will take longer than I get told. Thanks.

Recently I had some issue with my 2012 Ford focus that needed attention. I first took it to Coggin Ford, and it was the worst experience of my life! They mishandled my recall and didn't even fix the problem. I went back that saturday because Chris beaudry told me he would be there. I show up in the morning and he didn't even work that day. I was livid! It was like no one wanted to help me, they even had the nerve to tell me that my troubles wasn't related to the recall. They wouldn't provide me with a rental or nothing. I left them in tears of frustration. I end up making an appointment with Autonation Ford and they took really good care of me. Because of the day I was having I was a little difficult to deal with but Benjamin Simpson the Service Advisor kept me calm and reassured me that I was in good hands. The staff was very professional and also made you feel welcomed. Ben told me that my services will take all day but they had a courtesy shuttle if I needed to get around. The service took a little longer so he put me in a rental, I only had a $25 deposit. He told me that if it took longer he would pay for the extra days. I was so shocked and how thorough they were and how much Ben stuck to his word. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Autonation Ford to all Ford drivers. Especially, young 24 year old girls like me. They didn't make me feel stupid because of my lack of knowledge of cars, nor did they up sale me. They fixed the recall and I paid NOTHING! :-)

They were great during the diagnosis. Once we decided to get it repaired elsewhere, they were terrible. They didnt put the car back together the way we brought it in. They left it in a dirt parking space in an alley back behind dealership and sent us to find it with no assistance. Terrible customer service! Will never take a car to them again. Way overpriced as well.

Very surprised, and HIGHLY disappointed with the level of customer service, integrity and pricing.

1 - On two separate occasions, the reps assigned to us to contact went on vacation, didn't notify us, and our vehicle ended up being in the shop over a week each time, for pretty standard repairs.

2 - EXCESSIVELY overcharged us twice. Not only overinflated price, but exaggerated time needed to do repairs.

3 - Once we complained, pricing was drastically changed, but still excessive, with no change in parts or real labor time. So, were you overcharging us to begin with?

Originally tried to charge us $1,400 for a routine alternator replacement on our shuttle bus, a repair other companies were going to charge less than $350 to do. Shuttle wouldn't start so we made the wrong decision of towing to the dealership, thinking they would do a better job, but they wouldn't give an estimate over the phone. We figured it might be about $200 more at a dealership and were ok with that.

When we got the estimate of $1,400 and complained, eventually they reduced it to $800 (for the same job). We didn't get our vehicle back until 8 DAYS LATER, for a job that should have taken an hour. And no, there were no complications. And it wasn't due to waiting on a part. It came next day, once they ordered it. If you ever go there, wait with your vehicle or call them every 2 hours or you could be put on the back burner.

Everyone knows you pay more at a dealership, but 3 times more???!! The previous time we had a full brake job and some belts replaced and they charged almost $5,000!

Shame on us for trusting to have our vehicle towed there the 2nd time, and for trusting that a dealership experience would be stellar.

The only reason why I gave them 2 stars is because the repairs were done and appear to be good. But we could have gotten that pretty much anywhere for much cheaper prices, and more responsible and responsive customer service. Maybe this is what dealership experiences have come to? If so, it's definitely time for us to use small businesses/shops.

Brought my F250 in for maintenance. Stephanie was amazing. Knowing we were waiters , she was quick to advise us when she got to a bit of a sticky point with the maintenance plan since it was going to drive the time. We got an Uber home instead of waiting. Stephanie got everything taken care of & it was much better to go home for the 2.5 hrs instead of sitting around the dealership. Especially with the crazy world we live in right now.

Ronny, our salesman was honest and direct. He worked with us to get a good deal and did not waste our time with sales games. I would buy a vehicle from him again. We got a good deal on our Expedition after looking at several models of this class at several dealerships before closing the deal at Autonation. Definitely the best dealership and salesman for us.

Appointment time means nothing. I waited 2.5 hours for a oil change and tire rotation. Why make appointment if your not going to start on time? Customer Care individuals were professional. Someone needs to supervise timing in the backend. Will probably take my service business elsewhere.

After waiting for months for the part needed for my vehicle to come in, which is all due to Ford's lack of anticipation that so many vehicles would have an issue with their transmission, service was exceptional. I feel that this service department is an asset to the company.

This is in review of my sales experience only. I just bought a 2015 Mustang GT. I came in knowing exactly what I wanted and Auto Nation Jax just happened to have the exact car I was looking for. Came in with a check from my credit union ready to buy if the deal was right. Lance was my sales guy and was very accommodating to get me the best deal possible to keep me shopping elsewhere. I was given a fair market trade in for my older mustang. Overall my experience was excellent. Fast courteous non-pressured service including the paperwork at closing if you can believe that! I will be looking in the near future to replace my wife's ford F150 truck and Auto Nation Jax will be first in line to help me.

Tip for all looking to buy a new car: Do your homework! There is no reason in this present information age to not find out out what you need to know before buying a new car. There's plenty of great advice and guides on the internet. I came in this dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and what I should be paying for it and had my financing worked out ahead of time. Though this played a major factor it does not take away the fact that Auto Nation Jax gave me a great sales experience. It will however tremendously help you to be educated before you walk into ANY dealership to have your ducks in row so there are no surprises. Just my two cents.... -Nate

AutoNation Ford incessantly emails me to ask for reviews everytime I get my car serviced, so OK - I ll play this time. I went in for an oil change and asked to have a leaking tire looked at while they had the car. When they called me to the counter to pay up, they said the tech couldn t find a leak. I said there had to be a leak, because it was losing 10-15 psi a week, leading me to fill it up every time the low pressure warning triggered. They sent it back for a second look, and the tech still didn t find a problem. The following week, I went to a tire shop, where they found an embedded bolt and a hole that was too large to repair, necessitating a new tire be installed. In yet an another email survey, the dealer asked me what they could have done better during my last visit. I said, Learn how to recognize tire defects. They also asked me how much I trusted this dealer. After this incident, the answer is not much.

Getting an appointment was very easy and quick. The person checking me in was very friendly and helpful. Their waiting room was clean and comfortable and the service was completed on a very timely fashion. My only complaint was the expense! The charge for my service was about 1/3 more than I would have paid at home (another state).

This is how car buying should be. No doubt customer service is the number one objective here. From the moment you arrive you are greeted; and treated with respect and as a priority. There are no grey area's or hidden agenda's.....they actually know what they are talking about and don't feed you lies. They BLOW Nimnicht Chevrolet out of the Water; I will never go anywhere else to purchase a vehicle or have a vehicle serviced. Thank you for making this the best car buying experience I've ever had.

During my experience there I dealt with Ricardo (salesman), Mrs. Fleeman (finance), and the Sales and General Managers. From the time I was there to the time I left I was treated with respect and really appreciated the way all of them were straight shooters. Even after I purchased the vehicle I took it back to have the brake pads replaced and they fronted the bill for that too! I would go back there in a second. The only thing that caught me off guard was the no hassle pricing on used cars they have. I will say this though, they put the KBB price on the window and price every used vehicle to move. They won't negotiate, but I walked in the door savings 4K on a great truck.

My truck turn itself off as I was driving and the wrench icon appeared. At this time the engine was running but it was shaking as if running on two or three cylinders and nothing else would work. Turned key off and restarted successfully. Had same problem two weeks later (9/12/19) and took it to the dealer. Dealer was not able to fix the problem and I was told to bring it back next time it happen. Sad that Ford cant find out the problem and fix it.

I have paid over $1400 for repairs on my brakes and a leaky moon roof. My brakes are still not functioning correctly and my roof still leaks. Service managers will not call you back and you get a run around when you ask for a manager and not a voicemail. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. My buying experience with them was great, but their service department is a Mess. UPDATE: my BBB complaint and swath of negative reviews got the attention of the general manager, Brad, and he has worked to make things right by refunding $400 and agreeing to absorb about half of the cost of replacing the sun/moon roof. There was still an issue where the service manager left before I got there to receive my refund which unnecessarily complicated things. Also, my brakes still scrub despite their master technician giving the all clear though.

Jessica provided superior customer at my last visit to Auto-Nation. She kept me informed related to the status of my truck. The repair was completed on time. I purchased my F250 from Coggin on Atlantic - but the service dept. their is not up to par. I decided to give Auto-Nation a shot - even though it's an additional 15 miles for me. Awesome Place! Ask for Samuel Koran. I recently had to purchase a new vehicle because I drive a lot for work. I needed an SUV that was reliable, affordable, and safe. I looked at all the other dealerships in town and did not have the best experiences. The sales associates at the other dealerships were not engaged, uninterested, and aloof. This was not the case at Ford AutoNation on Philips Highway! As soon as I pulled up it was nothing but great customer service. Sam Koran was my sales associate. Right off the bat, Sam was very helpful, attentive, and honest. Sam is very knowledgeable on the vehicles and was able to answer all of our questions. We test drove several vehicles and the Ford Edge was my favorite. Sam was not pushy and allowed me to take my time in making my decision. We even test drove other vehicles later that same afternoon. I returned the next day to purchase the Ford Edge. In part, because that was the best vehicle for me and because we had such a wonderful experience with Sam. The process was quick and painless. Even a bit fun I might add. If you are looking to purchase a new vehicle go to Ford. If I could give them more stars I would.

The purpose for me to visit your dealership in the...

The purpose for me to visit your dealership in the first place was to perform a service to my old vehicle, I will say that the service provided by the service department was excellent, downside was that it was going to take a while, due to parts and only having two tecs for the day, no shuttle to take you anywhere meanwhile, so I decided to check the dealership for new or used vehicles, it was still earlier than 9am, then I went to the COGGIN Chevrolet dealership next to it and the Hodges Mazda dealer to the front to also see what they had in store, I was not looking to buy, but was open to the idea, I talked to Mr. Scott Messmore from Chevy and he was very courteous and very helpful, I told him I will think about it, I went back to Autonation Ford and ask the front desk for someone to help me see some vehicles at the used car lot, the manager showed up and he was very professional and helpful, he found a sales representative in the back that I noticed earlier when I was in the waiting area after I dropped my car for service, this person was not engaged in anything, didn't even looked like he was a sales person, no professional attire, commitment, etc, he asked me what I was looking for and explained I would like to see the numbers for the two Tacomas and the 4Runner they had in the used car lot, since the other building was closed, no ones was around, and I was interesting to check it out and see numbers, I wanted to be in the $500 a month, so the sales person just took me to his cubicle and ran some numbers on his head and wrote them down, I had to put more than $10K as down payment to be able to pay around $600 a month, for 60 months, no haggle, didn't make sense to me, with my score, etc the numbers didn't seem right, never offered to walk over and show me the vehicles, no even a test run, etc. I was shock, it was like he didn't want to be bothered, didn't want to do anything and just brush me off like I was not a legit buyer, and I was not worth the time, I was respectful, polite and just told him I will think about it and walked away, the service department person talked to me to give me an update on the vehicle, one of the things that I was inquiring was a 15hrs job and would have been more expensive than the value of the vehicle, so I told the person just to fix the other stuff and will try to fix that another time since it was not an emergency, could have lasted couple more years, I went back to the COGGIN Chevy dealer and approached Mr. Messmore again, as always very polite, professional and helpful, he offered right away to bring the keys for two vehicles I was interested, we drove both vehilces and returned to his office, he ran the numbers for me between an Infinity Q60, and a WRX STI, I was also interested in a 4Runner, but wanted something with warranty, newer, less milage, it was done in the computer very detailed with everything I needed to know, I decided for the '19 WRX STI with less than 6k miles, manufacture warranty still valid, great vehicle, went with my bank to finance, paying around $500 a month, with extended warranty, they took my old car as trade-in for a reasonable price with even all the issues it had that would cost more than the vehicle to fix, and I put $4k down, I would not even go back to any Autonation dealership, if this is the way to threat costumers, I was a Ford (Mercury) branded vehicle owner for the last 10+ years, it was not great the feel to have to change the transmision at 80k miles, having to change inside door handles, and projecting to have to reseal the whole engine at less than 110k miles, but everything else was fine, now I am verry happy with my WRX/STI, thanks to Mr. Messmore, hope this will help to make better decisions in the future for sales department, dont judge costumers for just how they look or act or comunicate, you never know that person would end up buying a vehicle and not just looking around, and might be worth the time, time that would potetialy be a recurring costumer for the dealer and service department. "Profitable"

AutoNation took FANTASTIC care of me. I worked mostly with Mr. Huish but the whole team really helped me find the truck I wanted at the lowest price in town. They were actively looking for as many rebates as possible for me. They were professional, not overbearing, and truly cared. They realize that buying a car can be a big purchase/decision and so we should get what we want. For me, what I Ioved, was their commitment to me without being pushy.
