I found the car that I wanted online, submitted an application for approval and then only had to come in to inspect the car and perform a test drive and sign the papers and drive the car home. Very easy. No haggle, no fuss.

Buying a car here was fantastic! John in the finance department took great care of us! But the service department is horrible! I called today because my car is having transmission problems that has made it non driveable, the 1st that they have available to even diagnosis the issues is 5 DAYS from now. We purchased the roadside assistance, when we called, the service department receptionist told me a tow was not covered and they do not do loaner vehicles. LUCKILY my husband knew that was not the case & called back to find out we needed to call Ford directly. This location is where we have always had the vehicle serviced but I will no longer be taking my car here.

After another dealer in Jacksonville was rude and pushy we went to Autonation and glad we did. Phil Waters took great care of us and was knowledgeable, patient and understanding of our needs. They didn't have exactly what we wanted, but he went out and found it and had the F150 delivered for a price we agreed on. I would recommend highly.

I am coming back to review their service dept, which is terrible. The customer service is to get your in and out without any concerns to your needs. I brought in my truck for an oil change, the 3 recalls and a noise that is coming from the rear axel. At first James only had the oil change down and told me his bay was full and that he has never heard of a noise from the back of a 150 so it must not be anything. Then told me he couldn't look at it today. Good thing I took the day off to be told they didn't schedule it. I'll be going over to Coggin Ford or another dealer to have my truck serviced.

General Manager, Jim Lampke and Sales Manager, Rini Schepen were extremely helpful in assisting me with the purchase of my 2017 Ford Escape. The were courteous and professional throughout the entire process. This is the 3rd time that I have purchased a new vehicle from Autonation-Jacksonville (formerly Mike Shad Ford) and this was by far the best deal that I have received. After the initial diagnosis we made an appointment to bring the car in for repair of our driver side window. The car was taken into the shop immediately and a shuttle took us home and picked us up 4 hours later. They got the work completed in the time promised so we could keep a doctor's appointment. Laura handled this transaction and the window is perfect now.

My wife and I purchased our vehicle from AutoNation Ford in 2014 and always have the service done at AutoNation. We recently hit 80,000 miles in our Escape and finally had the brakes done (front pads, rear rotors and pads, traction control sensors replaced, new battery as well). They knocked it out in one day and the service we received from Jessica was outstanding - which is the reason I am even writing the review. Jessica did a wonderful job and definitely deserved some special recognition. Thanks!

I try to get my car serviced at Bozard where it even costs less but unfortunately I just don't have time to make the drive all of the time. Had my oil changed in my 2017 F350 Diesel. Tires rotated and my 2 batteries replaced. I wanted the positive cable replaced because the connection for the battery corroded off but they didn't want to do it. They kept telling me it was very expensive. They never told me how much, just that it was very expensive. I thought this strange as my bill for the work done was $600+ . I Was willing to pay for it. They did clean the cable and told me the make shift emergency repair that I did when the cable broke was fine. They did a good job on everything else. I guess I will go to a different dealer to get a new cable installed.

It was the most amazing thing may be i should give them 5 stars. I was on the lot looking a new truck and no one come out to sell me one. After about 15 minutes i just got back in my car and left. I was very surprised but the good thing is that i found the truck i want to buy now i can just shop online and get the best price. A test drive would have been good but it is not a deal breaker I really like the Ford model F150XLT with the 4 full size doors. No one does a better job when comes to trucks.

If you choose to wait on your car there is a very comfortable lounge area which offers enough seating inside and outside. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

I had purchased my first brand new off the lot car back in November with Rick Davis at AutoNation Ford . Rick and others at the location such as McChillin and Christine made the process pleasant and simple .Less than two months after I bought my new car a drunk driver hit me on Christmas Eve and totalled my vehicle .Rick Davis had called to check in with me to see how I was liking the new Ford before and happened to call again to make sure I was still happy with my new purchase. When I told Rick about the accident not only was he empathetic, but he was extremely helpful with the frustrating aftermath . When it came time to purchase a new car there was no one else i would have wanted to help me other than Rick. What impressed me the most about Rick however was the fact that he remembered little details I had mentioned in passing about features I missed or wished I had thought of . He found me the perfect vehicle that has now become the best one ever! With the assistance of Sam in finance it was once again an enjoyable process. As long as Rick is in the car celling businesses I will never purchase from anyone else!

I was happy with my brand new Ford F-150 PLATINUM SERIES.... (ALMOST $60K) until it had it's first problem. I bought at this dealership and all seemed well. My adult sons noticed a problem with the extended mirrors on the truck almost immediately, but honestly, I did not 'see' what they saw. Then I was on the highway on a trip and heard a ridiculous loud noise by my window, which has driven me crazy. The extended folding side mirror's "housing" IS WARPED. THE PLASTIC HAS SWOLLEN LOOKING AND ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE HEAT DAMAGE. WE LIVE IN FLORIDA. THE GM AND THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT HAVE NOT DONE ONE THING. I ALSO BOUGHT THIS TRUCK BRAND NEW AND AN EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE TRUCK: AND SORRY FORD AND AUTO NATION DO NOT CARE AT ALL. I WILL N-E-V-E-R BUY A FORD AGAIN OR DEAL WITH AUTO NATION. CUSTOMER-NO-FREAKING SERVICE.

(LEAVE THEM ALONE DON''T GO !!!!) Liked the salesman got the car I wanted, but I was lied to by the sales mgr Joe. We made an offer to buy the car that night. I called the next day to increase our offer by 500.00 He jerked me around for the whole day saying that tires and other work was being done to car that he would give me the final price of the car as soon as things were finished because management had decided to do more to the 2013 Cadillac and the price would be much higher. We got there that same day at night to find the car untouched by anyone. This guy called about every two hours to say he was still waiting for all the repairs and tires to be replaced and actually alluded to the fact that the final repair was being done that he was just waiting on the paperwork for the tires that had been replaced on the car earlier that day. We arrived at 7:30 September 15th 2014 to find that the car Had Not Been Touched It Was All A Lie!!!!! Next issue the car was full of Spiders because it had been moved and parked under a tree. During that process that Mgr didn't know about the big lies already told to us he came out and lied about having the car for days to repair it but he didn't know that we brought the car and that we had it for 3 days before bringing it back for the spiders and to have tires put on it. They were to repair a simple ash tray that hangs out and refuses to close. Now Its always "We'll call you back" POOR POOR POOR customer service and more than that! They seemed to have Foot In Mouth Issues THEY ALL LIE!!!! YOU CANT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU!!!! I continued to tell the Mgr to stop lying the entire conversation. He finally said "that maybe he'd just seen the car around. Watch your wallet and TRUST NO ONE IN THIS PLACE BECAUSE THEY ALL WORK TOGETHER !!! I this place one star because of the lies told and because I had to force them to detail the car, which ended up being another problem they scratched the touch screen during the process. Leave them alone I'll never go back. Buyer Beware!!!!!!

Sales associate Mark Carofano was great and attentive however dealer was backed up and we got our of their way late, we were taken care of after complaining. The reason for the not five stars is I had to ask the sales manager for compensation for being at dealer for an hour after they closed with young kids and they new I had young kids with me that need to get home and go to bed. Nothing was offered and manager basically said to bad, I am sorry. Customer service is still the key to business, and if the sales associate and finance guys weren't so great and respectful it would have been a bad experience. Overall, happy with the deal I got though and would recommend them.

I brought my car in for a safety recall a few weeks ago and they did a full car check up as well, which originally I thought was pretty nice of them. At the end, they told me I needed new front brakes, that they were completely gone and I needed them replaced ASAP. I decided to go shopping around for prices and eventually went to a Goodyear, they did a brake check first to verify that I needed new front brakes and found that I actually didn't need them at all. They had 30-40% wear left on them and told me I had plenty of miles left on them. If you want an honest service, please do not go to this place.

I came in to this AutoNation Ford location to test drive a car I saw online. When I arrived I was met at the door by Jose Laboy, who was a very nice salesman. I was informed that the car I was interested in had not arrived to the dealership yet, but that I could test drive a similar car at another location. Even though this particular AutoNation Ford location did not have the car in stock, Jose drove me to the other AutoNation Ford location in Orange Park on the other side of town to let me test drive a car. He wanted to help me determine whether I would want to buy the car I came in to ask about initially. I plan on purchasing the car from this dealer in the future when it arrives.

I will never go back to Auto Nation Ford. They were not friendly or pleasant from the beginning. I almost did not buy the car because of their lack of friendliness. I caved in and bought the car. Doug did not even say goodbye after I finished signing and everything was done. He just walked away, which was extremely rude. Then, as I am driving home, I realize the car is almost on empty. They did not even make sure there was a full tank of gas before I left. I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome throughout the process.

I ve been here twice to address the death wobble and the vehicle pulling to the right. It was like pulling teeth to get them to acknowledge that it was shaking so violently. They finally put new rotors on and a steering damper which solved the problem for about 7 months. They also told me that they put the truck on the alignment rack and it tested perfectly. They said the service tech drove it and confirmed it. I put the service tech in my truck and let go of the steering wheel. He was obviously surprised when it started to pull drastically to the right. He also admitted to not driving the truck previously. This time they had to replace the rotors again and are telling me that my tires are causing the violent shaking. This is absurd as they are not in need of replacement and it happens when you hit bumps on the interstate. The day I left the shop it shook on the interstate again. I called to let them know and they said there is nothing they can do because it did not shake for them. When this death wobble occurs the vehicle is not controllable and poses a safety concern to my family and others on the road. I will be taking it back to let a tech ride with me at some point. I also have video of it happening. If there is an accident due to the inherent defect in this truck it is noted here that I ve brought it to their attention multiple times and they are dismissing the problem. I am also sharing this information with all parties that need to know Incase something awful happens. I would never buy another truck here.

We recently purchased a Ford Explorer XLT from Terry Leonard. We were just looking when we first went into the dealership. I'm so thankful that Terry was the one to greet us. From the start he offered up the plans that were available through my husband's work. He worked hard for us trying to get us what we wanted and needed price wise. My husband and I talked several times about how this was one of the best car buying experiences we have had. Not a lot of haggling and going back and forth. Our car had to be picked up at another dealership south of here. Terry was so kind to make sure it arrived when we needed it and that everything went smooth. The car is beautiful and more than what I was expecting. It was also a plus to find out that Terry's brother lives in the same city that we moved from recently in Texas. So, we had a little something in common. We are completely satisfied!!

We thought we had gotten a great deal, nice salesman, etc. I own one of the faulty ford focuses which there have been lawsuits about the road dangerous transmissions. The car is not road worthy and ford does not correct it beyond minor tweaks to say it's good when its not. Its not public that ford had known about this transmission issue and continued to sell the vehicle. Completely unethical and disgraceful. Now it's my problem to deal with. How can you sleep at night?

After doing my research online for a new large suv to replace my aging 1997 Ford Expedition, my wife and visited several dealerships to look at the current offerings. We first tried out the GM products Suburban and Yukon xl but were unimpressed. We then checked out the newly redesigned expedition at autonation and was patiently assisted by a young but very knowledgeable Ruben, who helped us check out the car, test drive it (including helping my wife adjust everything to her smaller height) and then he was very professional in asking for the business with an attractive offer. There was no pressure, and we wanted the think about it. After further review the following day, we decided to buy the car, and Ruben helped navigate the final negotiations to an acceptable conclusion. Delivery was flawless, and I have greatly enjoyed driving this new vehicle! Great car, great dealership, and great assistance by Ruben who no doubt will achieve success in this business with his positive attitude towards customer service.

They rushed me through signing the documents. I had to go back to get copies of the documents I signed. Sale statement is not clear. It does not identify all debits and credits. Sal was very nice and accommodating. Dealer prep fee of $699. is outrageous and a $200 dollar service fee was added and not properly disclosed or discussed.

Probably would not recommend them.

It took 2 hours for the courtesy service to make a 30 minute trip home. they tried to charge more than quoted for the diagnostic and undisclosed fees were tacked on the bill. Even though we had an appointment, it took all day to look at the car for a 10 minute diagnostic. We were only given the most expensive alternative.

Thanks for your response. If you are sincere in wanting to right the situation take responsibility and you call me and talk to me at my convenience. I do not have time to wait on hold for someone who is not showing a real interest in helping.

I would like to give Ford some recognition for being the most accommodating and considerate dealership my boyfriend and I have encountered in our car buying process. They were so professional and Ford was the only dealership that was able to get us the monthly financing price we could afford on our car. Ford also showed their support for college students by giving us a $750 discount because I am currently in college. We couldn't be happier with the service they offered and the car we are getting. This experience was pretty painless. The upfront pricing cuts out the back and forth as I had experienced with other dealerships. They washed the car on the exterior and filled the gas tank for me. I think they forgot the interior though, or just settled. We came home and had to clean up interior. So make sure to reiterate this to your sales person. Everyone was polite and helpful. They either answered my questions or found a resource. I had been shopping for over 30 days and a price drop allowed me to solidify my decision.

It finally did start and I drove straight to Autonation--no appointment, just frantic because I had to both go to the office---no problem--their shuttle took me back and forth--and be home early to relieve the caregiver for a special needs family member.
