The company has really made me have a different out look and opinion on the customer service, support and products. I purchased a iPad Pro back in December not an air on a mini the new pro. My pro stays at work on the desk or I carry it to church to take notes. I have been hearing about them bending so I notice mind was bending as well. I took it to the store three months after purchasing and the manager said they was aware of the bending issue because of the bezel design but my iPad was pass the the amount of bend that they cover so basically I didn t catch it in time. I was told I would have to pay 500 dollars to get it repaired even tho it s an Apple issue. I will continue to advise anyone to not buy the products if the can not stand behind them. The manger didn t care but was willing to take pictures of my iPad that s all the help I received from this huge company a too bad so sad.

First time visit to an Apple store since visiting ...

First time visit to an Apple store since visiting Charlotte.

Wanted to take a look at the new M1 Mac computer. Of course this required a reservation due to covid.

Arrived early and had to get online even with a reservation. Then was told to come back because they can't check you in early.

Walked around the mall for over an hour. Came back to the Apple store and got back on line about 20 minutes before the reservation time and now they tell us that they can't check us in until 5 minutes before the reservation.

Finally made it inside the store and no display models to look at.

Not the best experience but 2 stars for the friendly customer service once inside the store.

Picked up my Apple Watch today. First Apple Watch. Not quite sure why the have security when other stores don t but Tom provided a pretty decent quick conversation about the Apple Watch and how he uses it.

A couple of years ago I was fairly anti-iPhone/walled garden. Obviously this is a another step into that. Interested in the mini HomePod.

I originally spoke with Shawna (a really short-haired, tattooed girl) to begin with who was very lethargic and rude with me. Then after she was too lazy to help me I asked to speak with a manager and she got Macey (a bald headed guy/manager) who was even more of a jerk and so I decided to just go to another Apple store. Steve Jobs would be turning over in his grave if he knew the way his employees are treating people.
SERIOUSLY -- AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS!!!!

I purchased an Apple Watch for 750$. It broke the first day I wore the watch. I called the service number and was told to go to the store and they would resolve the situation. However after going back and forth with the manager I was told that since it was purchased through a third party that I would have to address it with them. The watch came out of the box broken and was accused by the manager that I broke even though he claimed he had never seen the charging part broke on an Apple Watch. For a company that profited over 58 BILLION dollars last year, and then to try an nickel and dime me to try and get it replaced is absolutely appalling! To be honest I imagine that the Apple Watch cost less than 50$ to manufacture.I will be switching over to an competitor for higher quality products and to be provided better customer service!! If zero stars was an option I would give this company that!

I wish I could give 0 stars I called 3 times stayed on hold for over 30 minutes each time just to get hung up on each time. Not sure who is running this store but they need to be fired ! This is the worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life no one seemed to care at all! Just kept getting hung up on after explaining my issue!

I LOVE Apple products, but this is by far the worst Apple store I have ever been to. I have been three times now, and two out of the three times, I have not only received poor customer service, but the sales associates were downright rude. The first time I went in there, it was packed, so I waited in a line to speak to one of the sales associates. I'm not sure if my waiting in line rubbed him the wrong way, but after he finished helping the women in front of me, he completely skipped me and helped the man behind me. When I tried to find someone else to help me after I had been rudely skipped, no one would. I went in to buy a new phone and walked out incredibly disappointed and empty-handed.

The second time I went in the store, the associate I spoke to was very friendly and helpful, so I guess they're not all bad.

However, the third time I went into the store, I could not believe how rude the sales associate was to me. First, I went up to the front of the store to ask if they had any new iPhones in stock. The man rudely shoed me in the direction of the front of the store to a man whose name might have been Cliff? He was "the guy with the red iPad in the front of the store." When I approached him, he was helping another customer. I witnessed him rudely informing her it would be silly to come into the store "this late in the day" asking for any new products. Even after hearing this, I still thought I would just ask if they had any new phones in stock. Silly me, how stupid can I be? He simply scoffed at me. When I started to walk away, he told me I could order them online and get them sent to the store. I told him I had tried that, and the Apple Store had not given me an option to send the phone to the store. He rolled his eyes and told me that clearly meant they didn't have any in stock. As if only a moron wouldn't know. I tried to explain to him it didn't seem like a stocking problem as much as a website issue. At this point, the sales associate with whom I was speaking had apparently lost all patience with me, as I was clearly another uninformed, unintelligent customer wasting his time at the end of the day. He apparently dug deep down inside himself and pulled out the attitude of a 13-year-old girl when he told me to try the website again. I asked him to be a little bit nicer, and that was when he turned away from me and started helping someone else.

I know this might not sound bad as he was never outwardly mean to me. However, if I could convey his tone and facial expressions via Yelp, I believe most of you would have been horrified. If you work in customer service, I don't care how annoying the customers are, you need to learn to deal with them politely. And all I did was ask if they had any new phones in stock. I wasn't even asking him do to anything. All he has to say was, "No, sorry." I'm not asking for much. Just a little human decency. If you can't be a decent human being, you shouldn't be working in customer service, and definitely not at an Apple store, where many (uninformed) people come to you with their technological concerns. Two out of the three times I've been to this store, I have had to put up with an absurd amount of attitude from the associates. I am disgusted, and I will definitely never step foot in the South Park Mall Apple Store again.

Typical apple store experience, which means it s really good. They have a high bar for customer service and paying attention to details. You don t really notice it from Apple store to Apple store, but you definitely notice it by comparing their service to virtually anywhere else. On my visit, I had a complicated issue due to the online order I d attempted. It took about 10 minutes for them to get to me, but once a rep was available he stuck with me for about 45 minutes plus some time with a manager. They did everything they could to help me out, and I am blown away by the effort they put into dealing with just one customer. It actually offset the hassle the online apple store and 3rd party fulfillment centers put me through. As much as I hate going to the mall, I ll go to the apple store before I place another online order.

I am incredibly disappointed with the service I just received at the Apple Store. After spilling liquid on my computer, I came straight to the Apple Store thinking this would be the best option, and my computer actually turned back on by the time I got to the store. I was told by the person who checked me in that they could help me. I waited for over an hour to just be told by a store associate there wasn't anything they could do but send off my computer. He told me this without even taking my computer apart. I then requested he open up the computer to at least see if there was still liquid in it- there was. I cannot believe I waited over an hour to be told they could just send off my computer, without even an offer to look inside and see if they could get some of the liquid out. I understand the computers have to be sent off to be fixed, but it is absolutely ridiculous this employee did not even offer to look at what the damage was. I will NOT be using the Apple store again.

Definitely the most convenient Apple store in Charlotte. Is located in a very nice mall and is also very spacious and modern, always regularly updated with Apple's latest designs. Staff is always very nice and helpful; Rob H was extremely understanding and helpful during my latest visit. Have been going there for years and will continue to.

Make a reservation with the genius bar before going. Even so, it can take a long time to get help. The geniuses often belittle customers for their "lack of technical knowledge"--expressing a degree arrogance. Poor customer relations! Important: the owner of the product needs to be present or Apple will not serve you. I found out the hard way.

Terrible experience at the Apple store at South Park Mall. I spoke with someone on the phone, they said to come up there before they closed and get my battery replaced. I live an hour away from this store. I spoke to a very rude employee that told me I was totally wrong, that there was no way someone told me to come up there because they couldn t get me in for two weeks, told me I needed to wait just like everyone else who is going to come in there. Walked out of there with my broke IPhone (thanks to Apple for the unexpected shut downs and ruined battery) and will not be returning there again.

Bought new iPhone 5 months ago with Apple I care for $149 for protection. Screen saver cracked and said I needed to file a claim with a 3rd party. Said if I wanted a new screen protector I could pay them 39.95. They never disclosed that I had to go to a 3rd party. The blasted screen protector probably cost them 50 cents. Left unhappy and paid a vendor outside of their front door for a protector $15. Greedy Apple and not customer centric.

The Genius Bar appointment is a complete joke. Expect to wait at least half an hour before someone can help you even tho you have the appointment. And this is just on a regular evening - not holiday, not weekend. The staff there doesn't seem to care either.

We are here because the top part of the screen on our new iphone6 is flashing on and off. It just started to happen recently and we got the phone in just two month.So at the end of the appointment we were told to bring the phone the next day to have a test done to the screen/display to determine the root cause. We were told if it's human cause like water damage then we will have to pay to get the screen fixed. If it's quality issue we will get a new replacement of the phone. However, today we came to have our phone tested. The customer rep didn't even listen to our issue. He asked us to hand in our phone to get the screen replaced. We were surprised because we never wanted to do so before knowing the root cause. We thought the purposes of this second appointment is to determine the root cause. And they said they the only thing they can do is to have the screen replaced. They won't do any test. We don't want them to change anything to the phone without knowing what's going on. Plus it doesn't seem right to do any major repair work to a brand new phone without knowing why we are doing it. The only thing I can think of is Apple is trying to cover something up. Or they don't want to admit that their product has defects. To us consumer, it's really unfair that you paid full price for a brand new product only to have it turned into a refurbished one.

Very long waits in this store. For this time of year, they should be "staffed up" like other industries to manage the volume. Once I finally saw an agent, he was very helpful. I also requested an email invoice but never received it. When I tried to call, there were very long wait times before I was eventually hung up on.

Sitting here waiting for someone to help me at the Apple Store for a possible purchase- going on 45 minutes now. Just asked one employee how much longer I had to wait to ask questions about purchasing a new computer. Rudely told me to 'ask someone else' to see how much longer I would have to be in the queue. When will Apple figure out how to really treat customers? The Genius Bar people are great but what a huge hassle even to get there. I should not have to put in my apple id every time- name should be enough- been a customer for too long I guess....

I made an appointment for 11:30. I arrived at 11:15. I had driven from over an hour away for this service appointment. I had been told in an email to check In with the person at the door. I told him I had an appointment time. His response so! There s the back of the line. I got in line. There were 45 people in line in front of me. There were no covid protocols in place. I guess their current stringent protocols are to protect the employees, not the customers. I waited in line until 11:40. After that 25 minute wait only 3 people in line had been allowed in. So, I left. It would have taken hours in that tightly packed line. Why are you requiring reservations if you aren t honoring them? This is a poor way to treat customers. Never again!

What a joke! Nowhere online does it say this store is closed. Drove all the way to Southpark to purchase a iphone after mine got water damage to find the inly store in the entire store with their doors locked.
A note on the door saying their employees are down the escalator in the parking garage. Find two guys standing there with apple shirts in the parking garage but neither one could help because he said they only do curbside to go. Leave it to a far left company to continue over react about a pandemic that most people have forgotten about!

I have been to this apple store for my Iphone repair, okay with welcome and check in process. I was asked to come back after 40 minutes so a technician can look into the problem, when I went back happily they asked me to wait again. After waiting for 30 mins no technician attended me and no one informed me anything about delay. Out of curiosity to know the reason for wait time I reached to store attender, he then informed me it would take one hour or more to assign technician for my case.

When questioned why this was not informed before, he apologized for this and asked me to reach out to online apple care or call apple care about the phone problem to get it resolved.

Arrogant staff. I will never visit this place again.

I specifically visited South Park Charlotte, NC Apple Store on Sunday March 12, 2017 to obtain assistance unlocking my phone due to my Apple ID being disabled. ( I had previously spent over an hour with Apple "help desk" on the phone/internet without a resolution.) First Apple person that I encountered told me that I would have to speak to a "technician" to resolve my issue. The "Technician" made me verify that my phone was "locked". After he reviewed the error message on my phone, I was informed that he could not assist me. I requested to speak to the store manager. The " Store Manager", who would not reveal his name, said " We do not have a technical staff on site to assist you". One hour on phone and one hour personal visit--no resolution. My conclusion, if you are a not a customer seeking to purchase an Apple product, you are on your own for product support and assistance. None of the Apple employees coherently articulated a resolution or offered meaningful assistance to resolve my issue.

I'm also a huge Apple fan and writing this pains me. I brought my iMac 27" to the genius bar for repairs on March 13th. It's now April 7th and 3 senior Apple advisors and numerous phone calls can't make contact with the store. My next step is getting in the car and driving 35 minutes for a visit. Perhaps I'll wait in line for another 3 weeks, but I'll get an answer.

The customer service at this location is the worst I ve ever experienced. We waited three hours to have my battery changed only to find out that nothing was done to the phone come pick up time. No text...no notification of any sort to indicate or let us know that the battery could not be changed. They just took the phone and kept us waiting. Only after I asked if all was well, did the rep mention that he had bad news and the phone was inoperable and offered a swap for $300. I grabbed my phone and walked out. Tempted to switch to Samsung just so I don t have to deal with Apple s customer service.

I initially had a really bad experience with one of the Genuis Experts. She was unhhelpful, gave me advice on what I should have done after the damage was too late and parroted the "company line" that they "don't support third party applications" after I followed the instructions on upgrading software. She certainly wasn't interested in helping me with my current issue at all. But then I ran into Dwayne and Jamie. They couldn't have been more helpful, encouraging and reassuring that my issue to transfer pictures from my android phone to my newly purchased MAC Air could likely work. They troubleshooted multiple methods to try and load my pictures from my smart phone. Eventually it started to work once they realized my SD card could be read on the MAC laptop. It took some persistence on their part to do the research but eventually it helped at least to isolate the issue. Even if they couldn't have helped me, their positive attitude and willingness to at least try was very appealing and the service you would expect at the Apple Store. Apple needs to hire more people like these two guys!

Shocked to see how poorly managed Apple s store operations are during these times of Covid.

Apple s express pick up email specifically asks customers to visit during the 15 min pick up window to avoid long lines due to Covid. And it clearly states that customers who are outside their pick up window will experience long wait times!!

Unfortunately, this protocol was not clear to the store employees or the store manager. All customers with or without an appointment or those who are arriving way before or after their appointment were standing in the same line as the customers who are arriving within their pick up time! When I brought this up to the store manager s attention, he told me that this is his way of being fair to everybody without realizing that he is being unfair to people who are punctual and honoring Apple s email by arriving within the pick up window.

On top of this there was no social distancing being enforced. Very frustrating and jarring customer experience and that too with the most valuable company on the planet!

The only thing that I would say is MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU ALL!!!!! OF YOUR EQUIPMENT BACK!!!!!!! This is an absolute MUST! From the moment you walk into this store you can tell that they stay pretty busy. The people who work here have a system, they follow it, it works for them. I have had my computer serviced twice at this location and both times they forgot to give me the wall adapter back for my computer. This time they forgot to give me my entire box (mouse, keyboard, wall adapter, and installation disk) and when I asked them for the rest of my items they STILL forgot my wall adapter (luckily I had a spare at home!). A big whoops if you are from out of town like I am. I do not blame them because most of the people working the genius bar spend their day running around like headless chickens.

Can t walk in and buy products typically 30 minute wait to purchase any items. No chairs for your convenience. If you have a legs or back problems this is not the place for you. Apple stores are not thought out very well. Holidays are a new nightmare!!!!!! Apple trys to be different and futuristic but I believe and feel it works against everyone.

Took 4 attempts and 45 minutes to get through to a store assistant. The automated apple system kept redirecting me away from the store. Once in the automated system only one person I talked with could connect me to the store of my choice. The other assistants just gave me the same number I was already calling and getting dump right back in the automated system.

I called twice and asked questions; both times my questions were answered fully. I also went in store without an appointment to purchase a laptop and I had great service. I was able to get an employee to assist me within two minutes. Highly recommend going here! Great workers with honest answers to help you get what's best for you.

This place is a dumpster. I came yesterday to have a battery replaced. They said it would be three hours so I opted to leave it overnight as they said it would be ready first thing. I got there at 10 am right when they opened and guess what, the phone is not ready. Horrible service horrible store. Apple does not seem to care at all for their customers time, loyalty, or patronage.

I've attempted to contact them on several occasions and I can't get through to anyone in the store . It sends you to the customer service line and the representative cannot even reach them . Needed to find out if they can even help me and all the customer service representatives can say is maybe so now I'm driving 1 hr each way just to find out if they can even do anything to help me . Done with apple so is my family . What's the point of a warranty if you can't even get them to fix it in a timely fashion . Apple is a joke

Came here specifically to buy a particular computer. Waited almost an hour to be given the glorious opportunity to spend over a thousand bucks on a laptop (sense my sarcasm? Because I'm laying it on pretty thick), after being told it would be a 15 minute wait. Why you have to wait at all to simply buy something is beyond me.

Gave three stars only because the sales associate was knowledgeable and friendly.

After I grabbed my accessory I had to run around to a few people to find someone who can actually take a payment and even the person who took the payment made me feel like he was doing me a huge favor by taking my money.

This place is absolutely awful in food and customer service!!

My husband ordered Louisiana pasta and it came under cooked and I ordered pasta davinci. Both were lacking sauce. Both noodle dishes came out dry. We asked for more dates and it took 20 min for the sauce to come out by then both dishes Ice cold. I notified the manager to have the food comped off our bill. The manager refused to comp our meal. When you $20 plus for a pasta dish, you would think they would try and make it right and have proper customer service to please their customers. Lacking in customer service!!! We were offered a free piece of cheesecake.. I don t care about cheesecake. I don t eat it. I wanted a good meal! So disappointing!!! I hate leaving a restaurant not satisfied and irritated!

I came to this store as a walkin customer to get my iphone SE repaired as the switch on and off button is not working since a couple of days. My phone is under warranty. They checked it and told me that the phone needs to be replaced. I was little hesitant but since I had no other option, I agreed. I am glad I had my IPad to back up all my pictures from my phone. I took everything that was needed from the phone. The customer care executive in the store took my phone even before giving me a chance to have a look at the new phone. She quickly erased everything off of my phone and placed my SIM card in the new phone. I tried to setup the new phone in the store and felt like there is something wrong with the touch on the phone. I asked my brother to check the touch and he felt the same. I kept asking the person who was working with replacing my phone if she is replacing my phone with a new one or refurbished one but she dint say yes or no which made me feel more suspicious. I refused to take the phone and asked them to give me another piece but they did not agree for that and instead they were kind of forcing me to believe that there is nothing wrong with the touch. The service provider went and spoke to several other service providers in a very slow voice which was clearly understandable that they didn't want me to hear what they were talking. I did not like their service. They said there is nothing that they can do about it. So I took my old phone and left.

Came in about a month and a half ago with an Apple ID issue where my work iPhone and my personal iPhone had somehow become intertwined. Was told that I'd need to speak with a tech at the Genius bar, and that it would be 3-4 hours. THREE TO FOUR HOURS!! This is unacceptable - either hire more Genius techs, or train some of the useless people in the store with the iPads to be... You know, actually useful.

I was offered to be connected to Apple Care support over the phone, which I took them up on. However, being that I was in a mall, it was impossible to find somewhere quiet enough to have a 30 minute tech support call. The solution given ended up being "delete all your apps and re-install", which required me to either be on wi-fi, or burn through all of my data fixing the phone. I drove home and took care of it myself using the advice.

Fast forward to today, where I have a camera hardware issue on my iPhone 7 (the same phone as above). I come to discover that the Apple Store in SouthPark is closed for renovations. I guess they are repainting it a new shade of white? Maybe a pale birch finish on the tables instead of maple?? My phone is still under the 1 year warranty, but I doubt it will be once this store is re-opened...

My next nearest location is the NorthLake Mall, well over 30 miles from my home. Apparently, this location is getting ALL of the frustrated people from Charlotte now, because the next available appointment is 4 days out. Again, completely unacceptable.

I love Apple products and have had good luck with them up until this iPhone 7, but this lack of after care support leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.

The actual Apple employees are fantastic when offering support and helping people fix or pick up products. But this location has 4 security guards that stand around doing the bare minimum and occasionally bully the line for fun. I had an appointment at 3:20 and arrived 15 minutes early. I was told to go to the back of the line, which resulted in me being 15 minutes LATE to the appointment. I was also asked to show a QR code but my phone didn t work at all. I explained this. The security guard cut me off and radioed the store to confirm my story, since I had called to confirm that not having a copy of my reservation would be okay. Just overall, not a pleasant experience. They were often too busy talking to one another and didn t direct the line properly. Two different guards would send a genius multiple customers at the same time, which is super awkward for customers because someone has to exit the store and return to the line.
