This place is great for repairs. I have had them repair my MacBook a couple times, and it s always fast. But anything else, I would go somewhere else. They are ALWAYS busy. No matter what day or time it is. Just go to your carrier for phones or buy online. It ll be much quicker.

My wife had the worst experience.

My wife had the worst experience.
She asked Tory to assist with the recent issue I had with my phone that completely stopped working. She looked at the phone and told me I am not touching this. It has water damage.
I am curious to how Apple claims that this phone is waterproof and it carries a rating of IP 67 or IP 68.
I simply asked on how come the phone has water damage and her response was: I wasn t with you to know how

I need to know what kind of customer service is this ?

I don t know may be because I have an accent

We have 5 iPhones and iPads in my household.
This was the worst experience I have ever had specially when I was present at the Apple store.
I have a special needs son that had to endure all of the frustration we encounter. That response aggravated me so much and unfortunately I had to leave because of my son getting frustrated.
Your agents response should represent your brand. I would not expect such a response out of Walmart employee!

Awful!!!!! I would recommend buying your electronics from Best Buy, or any other store. The service is awful and you will wait for hours to receive support. Don't let the nice looking products fool you, they aren't worth it!!!!

The staff has a lot of attitude. The store leader was helpful bit the rest was not. The guy helping did not even bother to introduce. Within five minutes he concluded that I needed a new phone and I have only had my phone for little over a year.

I attempted to perform a simple exchange for my defective SmartCase that was under warranty. I purchased it from Apple SouthPark in April, and it stopped charging 6 months later. A sign outside the store read by appointment only d/t COVID-19 safety measures so I asked if I could make an appointment. All 4 service counters were free and no one was in line, but none of the employees in the store even acknowledged my physical presence at the entrance. A mall security employee was more helpful, and said to call AppleCare to make the appointment. I did, and the AppleCare rep called the SouthPark store to make me an appointment, explaining that I was at the entrance observing all 4 counters being free, with no one in line. The Apple SouthPark store still refused to make me an appointment even when the AppleCare rep asked. I remained in front of the store on the phone with the rep for the next 15 minutes, watching all 4 service desks remain open the entire time. My issue took 52 minutes to resolve by phone, but would have taken 3 minutes to resolve in person.

Great experience with Sergio who resolved our "Activation Lock" issue with new iPhone 6s in 5 minutes that Verizon and hours with 3 Apple phone techs who could not help us. He was patient with two 76 year olds and very nice and accommodating. He should be recognized for excellent service. We will attend training asap. Thanks! Tom and Linda Dodgen, Gastonia, NC.

The Genius Bar was a good experience, though I don't like having to leave my computer at the store awaiting a part. The attendant was knowledgeable and efficient. I had an appointment which greatly simplified being seen immediately. Recommend anyone have an appointment before going.

Really love the upgraded appearance of the bigger store now. Always very slick and clean like an Apple Store should be. At certain times there can be quite the crowd here and you may have to wait a while for technical service but it's always entertaining and the workers are knowledgeable and kind.

Had the pleasure of meeting Tyler yesterday, he was an absolute pleasure to deal with, an exemplary employee. Made the whole process very easy and even made me laugh about spending that much money . If you do go to this store I would recommend asking for Tyler, he's extremely knowledgeable about the products and knows what he's doing.

Zero stars. Terrible customer support. Have an iPhone X... both cameras and Face ID stopped working immediately after updating to iOS 13. Went in to the store and were told they can t help and we would have to upgrade to a new phone. This is an $1100 one-year-old phone!

I have wasted hours on the phone and in the store just for a battery replacement. The battery I have and my husband have is faulty and under warranty. I went to the store and waited 2 hours for someone to tell me my battery qualifies for replacement, which I had already found out on line. Then I m told the battery will need to be ordered, but getting an appointment has been a terrible experience. I ve been waiting almost 30 minutes on the phone just to schedule an appointment. Trying to schedule an appointment on line is not better, I ve been checking for several weeks and there are not any available appointments anywhere in Charlotte. Apparently Apple needs more help or more stores.

This is a pretty good store. They have a pretty streamlined check in process. The salesman we dealt with was knowledgeable but at one point he got frustrated with us when we didn t understand the very confusing phone payment plan options. He gave us a very sarcastic, Ok, one more time.... before explaining the payment.

Had an excellent experience at this store when purchasing and setting up my new phone. I was very nervous because I had previously purchased a phone through my cell phone carrier s store and after a software update during initial setup, it stopped working and had to be returned. So I decided to go straight to Apple this time and I had the pleasure to work with Romeo at the Apple store. He was extremely helpful and patient and waited with me through the whole setup process to ensure my phone would be working before I walked out of the store. I greatly appreciated the time and service I received in this store.

First time going into one of the Apple stores yest...

First time going into one of the Apple stores yesterday. After spending time browsing I wanted to purchase a phone. Was told I needed to find the guy floating around who would sign me in so they can page me when they are ready for me. Ready for me? He was helping someone so I waited. Two other groups of people came up to him after me and went to the other side of him, keep in mind he is just standing in the store, no line, no desk, etc. Then he tells me I need to go wait behind those other people to get an appointment! I knew what I wanted, was ready to pay but apparently it needs to be on their terms. I walked out and purchased from Best Buy as the Apple store "process" is basically an abuse of customer's time.

The "geniuses" are rude and talk down to you. Apple's concept of making an appointment to get service is stupid. If you are a minute late you have to reschedule but if you come early or on-time you have to wait a half hour before they help you.

Arrgh! Apple makes it such a pain to repair equipment, but their associates always have a super-friendly smile plastered to their faces. After leaving it for repair, my MacBook track pad still doesn't work, but it's such a pain to go to this store that I've decided to just use a wired mouse... the Mac Magic Mouse doesn't stay connected either. One question, when they used to have the "Genius Bar," who was the genius? Them or me? Clearly them. I'm still using their over-rated products.

My daughter has had horrible issues with her XR. We came to the store to trade it in for an 11. The tech 3 weeks ago said their would be no problems. He would put a note in. We came back today, and have had one hassle after the other. Don't trust what the tech says if you have to come back. What they tell you and what is put in the encounter is not the same. Be wary......

Robin is awesome, very customer service oriented. She is 100% the only reason I m leaving a 5 star review. After having to replace this phone for the same problem once before, she made sure I didn t come out of pocket for a new phone. Checked up on me even after I was taken care of. Value good employees like her.

As noted here the SouthPark Apple store is always slammed, however I have always found the service there to be first rate. I walked in knowing exactly what I wanted, a new Mac Mini and Melvin the sales rep set me up quickly and easily. He sent someone to get my new computer while he filled out the invoice and took payment. Melvin also mentioned my company discount (since I work for a large company) I never thought of that. Melvin thanks for saving me money! The people at the Apple Store deal with tons of people so give them a break.

Tried to make an appointment online and was unsuccessful. a glitch on Apple's end. Once I finally got an appointment, the staff are unfriendly and seem to be annoyed that you are even in the store. 2 star only because they honored the wait time (walk in) & estimated service repair time was exactly 1 hour. Be prepared to wait, to pay a service fee, although I carry and have carried for 2+years Applecare.
I have since made the switch from the haggle of "back up your phone" and "download our latest software" interregoration to the easy accessiblity of Android, the Samsung galaxy.

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service!!!! ...

Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service!!!! Please do not come here because the staff is very unprofessional and rude. I asked for management and they were even worse!!!! I drove an hour and a half to this store to replace my cracked iPad Pro with a new one. I spoke with an Apple representative all that morning as I was enrostrarle to the store, to make sure I had an appointment and that they were aware of my situation. I got to the store and received rude customer service from the time that I walked in. I checked in with a representative and he was fairly rude and stared discussing things that didn't pertain to anything that I asked. I asked him to speak with a manager, and he rolled his shoulders as of my request didn't matter. So of course he called over a manager that he was cool with to handle the situation, which didn't make the situation even better. I had to go through the trouble of calling back the representative that I spoke with that morning to clarify things that she clearly had coded. So then I waited two hours while a million representatives stood around. Oh and I'm a military member that was leaving for deployment training at 6 p.m that evening. They were well aware of that, and that's why they asked me to come in earlier. Save yourself some time and go to the other store in Charlotte. I will NEVER come in here again!!!

They have scheduled pickup times, but don't have the product ready at the scheduled time to pick it up, despite having it in stock. The solution? Wait for an email at some unknown future date/time - they can't be bothered to simply grab one. Add to that ridiculously long lines weeks after a product launch just to discover they don't have it ready and you have an enormous waste of time, annoyed customers, and a low rating..

Large store great location but very unfriendly staff. We booked an appointment online for battery replacement but the genius who was helping checking in could not find our appointment. Instead of helping us he acted like we were wasting his time and did not even want to talk to us. Worst Apple store expedience even here at SouthPark. Also, please be prepared to wait a very long time because this is always a very crowded store.

Got here right when the store opened on Saturday because I didn t have an appointment but they still told me that it would be over 2.5 hours before they could get to me. The other option they gave was to schedule an appointment mid week. However like most other people I work durning the week so a mid week appointment would not be possible. There is only two local apple stores which are both in malls so I understand that they will be busy but it seems that they could be more readily available on weekends to help walk in customers.

I get that it was busy but I had set an appointment five days prior and the staff still helped walk ins before getting to me, and when they finally got to me (as I knew it would be) it was a short 5 minute talk about my warranty on my product. This branch may be a little OP since they re the closest in our area. It just sucks to know that they could ve been better but you can t really do anything.

I agree with others that this place is hard to get...

I agree with others that this place is hard to get a genius appointment...it s been like that for years. I also experience the occasional grumpy employee here unlike the typical Apple store experience, but today, a savior named Greg really helped me solve my phone issue.

If you re desperate maybe ask for him because he really went out of his way to ensure I was satisfied and my products functioned properly. Five stars for Greg.

Worst customer experience EVER!! If I didn t love Apple so much I would NEVER buy from them again!! I bought a Mac Pro, Watch, iPad and iPhone all on the same day 2 years ago and had much better experience!! The manager was so rude and condescending!! Needs some training in being emphatic. Thank you to the guys in the Apple Store who were so nice today. I walked in late to my appointment and visibly upset. They gave me a seat, tissues, space.... checked if I was okay. They sped up the repair process for me, making my case a priority and finally covered the cost of my screen repair- approx $130. They really went out of their way to be nice and look after me! Unfortunately, I was so distraught that I didn't catch the main guy's name. I think it began with a Coltan or Colgan or something. Anyway, you know who you are, and I really appreciate what you did!

Beyond useless employees who push buttons and think they are 'geniuses'. I had a rude, condescending, unhelpful and extremely ignorant young man 'help' me today after waiting over 3 hours for assistance. (My phone has been saying no service for 4 days. Apple literally has a recall for my model for this exact problem and he ignored me multiple times when I told him that.)He plugged my phone in to a computer, deleted everything off my phone, pushed a button and said it doesn't work. He also pushed a button and told his computer to not update my phone to activate and now I can not use my phone at all. It is completely unable to activate. He broke my phone way worse than when I came in to the store. I told him he was no help and he replied "you're welcome" I told him I did not say thank you and he proceeded to say he assisted me today. He literally ruined my phone. At least before I brought it in I could use it on wifi. It now won't even activate or take me to a home screen. I am about to call and file a formal complaint. To make matters worse I just moved to Charlotte. Since the employee rendered my phone completely and utterly useless I had no gps and it took me over an hour of driving around before I found my way home.

I ve been loyal to apple for at least 20 years when the products were limited and industry dominated by Microsoft. Worst Apple store I ve ever tried to purchase from.

Would give less stars if possible. EVERY TIME I CALL THIS LOCATION I'M ON HOLD FOR HOURS AND NO ONE EVER PICKS UP THE PHONE. EVER. In fact, I called apple care direct and even they couldn't get ahold of anyone at this location!!!! THEY NEED A CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT SPECIFICALLY FOR ANSWERING PHONE CALLS BECAUSE NO ONE EVER ANSWERS. EVER!!!!

i have always had a good experience at southpark. i ve lived in charlotte my whole life but today i went to buy a case for my new iphone and they took 45 minutes to check me out. that s horrible. they should take less time worrying about selling iphones and macs to help people who are loyal customers and need a case for their products

I recently placed an order for pick up at this location, in the future during these times I d appreciate it if the instructions for pickup where more clear, I was under the impression that they still offered curbside pick up so I spent 15 minutes in the parking garage to try and locate the pickup area ONLY TO find out that I had to park and go in the mall which I feel is extremely inconvenient. Apple didn t score me on this one.

I just got the new iPhone 7 plus and although there has been some issues with the phone, the two people I've encountered at this Apple store have been awesome. Super helpful, friendly, and understanding. Considering how well both people took care of me, and on two separate occasions, I don't think it was a coincidence. I also read some of the poor reviews, and it seems people should temper their expectations. It's an extremely busy store, and the one time I walked in without an appointment they said it could be a long wait, so I left and scheduled an appointment online, no big deal. The service members also can't fix every single issue, they're not engineers, just technicians.

Had to drive 2 times to the mall and end up canceling my order... the first time the lady on the line was really nice and let me talk to a representative, who assured me that i can pick up my item as soon as i get the gr code. the second time that i come to the mall there was another security lady who didn t let me go at the line cause i had to be at the store 5 minutes before the appointment. Thank you for waisting my whole day. Tried to call them but there was nobody who can answer their phone.

The worst customer service ever, on a consistent basis- as a customer you feel helpless bc getting anything fixed requires you to make a genius appointment a week out. Once you get there they make you wait and move you from table to table- bc you have bought their products and there are only two stores serving the entire metropolitan area, you are forced to put up with pushy, rude staff- I spoke with the manager last time I was here to complain and there were lots of hollow apologies. For a company as shiny and slick as Apple you d think they have a better in house model for customer service.
