Came here to buy an iPhone drove 30 mins from work (checked before hand and saw online they have stock the particular model I want to buy) . Even though they have stock I need to stand in line to make and appointment to buy a phone later the same day . You have To come twice on the same day to buy an iPhone which is in stock it s worst customer experience in the South Park mall ..
Apple makes it so hard to do business with them in their Stores. Most of the stores are closed because of Covid and even when traveling 2 hours to an Apple Store when you need help you are treated like some sort of danger to society. You are met with 2 security guards at the entrance and I was told to take a step back to have a conversation about getting help....only to be told that my 2 hour trip was wasted and I couldn't enter without an appointment.
They couldn't help me online and told me to go to an Apple Store for help. Garbage.
Too bad my company forces me to use Apple for my work phone. Bad experience all the way around.
Bought my Mac at this store and had about 4 subsequent visits for support and 1 to 1. My experience was HORRIBLE. I got so fed up I wanted to just sell the computer back to them. Each time I went I heard a story different from my last visit.
I just visited the Apple Store at Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, MI. All of my issues that were unable to be resolved in Charlotte were fixed in one visit.
I wouldn't recommend the SouthPark store to anyone!

One of the worst apple stores in the USA. I lived in Miami, New York and Los Angeles and this is without a doubt the worst store I have visited. The attention is slow, to buy any product the minimum wait is 20 minutes. In any store you enter, choose, buy, pay and leave. In Apple South Park, enter, wait an eternity and leave, without buying, tired of waiting. If you live in Charlotte, dont waste time, BUY ONLINE!
The attention can take quite almost any day. When they finally attend to it, the service is good. Otherwise the logo speaks for itself
Friendly staff that take the time to assist my 89 year old very hard of hearing father ! He continuously stops in with phone issues ! The employees here don t try to sell him products he does not need or can t use . Clean, friendly and extremely patient here !
Dropped my phone off over a month ago to be replaced at a Genius Bar appointment and I still haven t heard anything about getting my phone back and when I call every other day I m on hold for 2 hours or more only to be disappointed because they don t know when the Apple South Park will be opening again which is ridiculous nobody knows when and they aren t offering any other options to get my device back which they can easily ship it directly to me Apple isn t trying to help at all. I feel like they have stolen my phone
Always an easy experience at this store for me. I ve never had an issue here. Their newest remodel is pretty cool. The store has a very bright and up to date feel. Staff here is helpful and makes things very easy to do business. If you re getting the new iPhone XS I would recommend you buying online and doing a store pick up to save you some time.
Made an appointment, but ended up fixing it myself. Never even called me for my appointment with a Genius.

Brought my iPhone X in for a screen replacement and upon receiving my device back, noticed that the TrueDepth front facing camera had been damaged during repair (ie I could no longer use the Face ID feature). Since my phone was still within the standard warranty I was able to walk out of the store in a mere MINUTES with a brand new iPhone X!!
I honestly don't know why people are bagging on the customer service reps at this location. I received nothing but the utmost and sincere attention and respect from the staff!
PS. If you don't want to stand in a line just set an appointment online in advance. Our generation has limitless resources right at our fingertips (on your iPhone, Mac, iPad) yet we're still too lazy to plan ahead.
My experience at this store, I have purchased over $7000 from the store over the past year, I had to have my iPad reset, the technician, lost my pen, but they acted like it was my fault, they said it was not there before they service it.
The Manager on duty was a young lady with black hair, she was very rude and did not care whether or not I existed as a customer or not, I ended up having to buy another pencil for my 12 inch iPad, I also bought another Mac which was $2600 for my business.
I now use both Apple and windows products, but in the future, I will really have to think twice about ever going into that Apple store again. As a CEO I would fire the Manager, she may believe that she wins the battle by being argumentative with the customer, but in the end she will lose the war and so will apple as their customer base evaporates away.
I spend $249 plus tax for my airpots ... so after few weeks i start Hear noise when i put
(Noise cancellation ) that issue let me feel headache So i back to apple store to let them check what happened on my headphone ... they asking me to have appointment..also no one else was there only the staff waiting customers to tell them go make appointment....? am always traveling.. not easy for me to know when am gonna be in Charlotte..
since i get it i feel unhappy when I used them ..
Also when iphone company has new Generation they send us update to Messed up our phones .. they forced us to buy now one every year ....
just one thing I want tell iphone company ( Shame on you to do this with your customers ) but this is not Your fault this is our fault because we trust you...

I went to this apple store to buy a new iPad and to get my new iWatch screen fixed. The lady at the front was pleasant. Told me it would take 90 mins to get help for my watch which they would then mail out to get repaired as they don't do them in store. (90 mins, Yikes!) But she quickly suggested she could have apple call me and they could arrange a box to be mailed to me and sent out from home with same turn around time. (That sounds good, better than the 90 min wait)
My Phone rings, apple lady on phone says, if your already in the store, just have them mail it. It will be 90 mins I explain to her. She replies, it will be three days for us to send you the box. I reply, Its not the expedience of the shipping its the 90 mins I don't have to stand here and wait to be helped. Again she says, it will be faster if you just wait in the store. I ask one more time, can you just mail the box and do the repair that way? She huffs and finally agrees. We go through the process and that seems sorted out. (why did I have to nearly beg her to help me? but it only took 10 mins so that is better than 90!)
Meanwhile, I am still waiting to be helped to purchase a new iPad. 20mins, 30mins, 40mins I return to the nice lady I checked in with. How much longer I ask. Her reply, there are still three people in front of you... I just want to buy a $950 iPad, I reply. Is there anyway to get someone to help me sooner, I have been standing here for 40 mins. (I'm smiling and courteous incase your wondering)
I'm sorry she replies, there is a long wait. But you told me it wouldn't take that long when I first checked in, I reply. (My eyes scan the store; there are 25-30 other customers wandering around I guess that must be busy) I ask, will be be less than an additional 20 mins. She replies, I do not know.

My Apple iPhone recently stopped receiving a signal and was directed by my service provider to take it to the Apple store, as this is a known and common issue. I come to the Apple store only to be told that they do not have any availability to look at my phone today and I cannot make any appointments for over a week to have my phone diagnosed... although I do find it odd that they have someone to assist me immediately to buy another phone.
Got here at 4:30 to have someone look at my phone that is not making or receiving calls. The guys told me it would be about a 2h wait. It is now 6:40 and I was just informed that I won t be seem until at least 8pm. Wow! 3,5 hour wait to have someone look at my phone!? Crazy!
Once I set an appointment they were great. The service was very good and the people were surprisingly knowledgeable. I went in to get a Ipod repaired 4th gen. The screen was cracked. They replaced it for under $100 with a new one. I had no warranty. The service man was able to advise me on a couple of other problems I had with Itunes and other apple products.

Apple store in the mall. Helpful staff but like most Apple stores overrun with people. Took a glitchy iphone in and they promptly moved me ahead of the regulars trying to figure out how to check their email.
They checked out the phone. Said they needed to replace it, the grabbed a new one and soon I was on my way.
If more companies treated me like Apple I would be more willing to stick with their products if they aren't 100% all the time.

The worst customer service. Sold the wrong cover for the I pad that were both purchased in the store at the same time. Can t seem to get this corrected. My parents took cover back. EVEN though they (THE STORE)have all the records they can t refund the cover with out actual receipt.

I went in for service and everyone that I spoke with was very polite and within 5 minutes of checking in someone came to help us right away and was in and out within 10 minutes.
Friendly staff but they said something they don t want to honor. I was tricked for a phone repair and they changed their words and was told to pay more than double the price. Be aware, avoid this store if you don t want this hassle! They deserve NO star at all. Do what you say if you want people come back.
This store does not even deserve one star. Stay away from this place. Some employees are rude & have very little technical knowledge or customer service training. My photos & videos were permanently deleted by one of these "technical geniuses" who failed to ticket the service...probably bc she knew she had made a fatal error. So, there is no record in the system. The so-called store manager is arrogant & inappropriate for that position. Lots of excuses but no solutions. I am escalating this issue to headquarters in CA.
This store needs to be permanently shuttered.

Before visiting the store to fix a phone, I checked online to see if I could make a reservation. At that point, I noticed the low star review and it concerned me. I was not able to make an appointment in advance. We went at a time that we thought would be slow. The only appointment available was a walk-in appointment 4 hours later. In about an hour, they texted us that they were ready. The technician that helped us was incredibly knowledgeable, understanding, and efficient. I wish I had gotten his name so I could ask for him again.
Called ahead and drove 3 hours to buy an iPad we confirmed was in stock. Only to get here to find out it's appointment only. Tried to order for pick up online and the product became unavailable for pick up upon checkout. Was given misdirected instructions on how to make an appointment by the guards out front who knew nothing about the process.
Once I bought my first iPhone Apple was the number 1 in term of customer care, but today, 10 years later, after the experienced I had last week at this Apple Store I can say the average level of knowledge and the customer care is touching the ground.
I had to replaced a non functioning iPhone XS and it took 1h 20min to do it. But the best is yet to come because considering all my datas were in the broken phone they tried to restore the back up I smartly did 1 day earlier, but they could not be able.
The Apple guy I dialed with did not even know the procedure to replace a device so the keep asking here and there making my experience awful.
Apple Customer Care turned out to be ridiculous.
They could care less about their customers. They lie right to your face. You know it and they know it. One customer gone forever. They might not care now about me and one customer but someday they will tick off enough people. Someday they will not be on top and begging for customers - never again.
The customer service here is terrible, they don't care about their customers AT ALL. i went in there with an iPhone they sold me literally 6 months ago and they phone was constantly shutting off does not work at all and they told me basically they can't help me and have a nice day. I highly recommend either another Apple store or switching from Apple all together.
The store is extremely crowded and it is unclear who is on line and who is just looking around. Additionally, the sales associate who helped us was not very friendly at all. Everything else is very fine overall.

How long does it take to remodel a store? As of August 2018 it s been closed for 4 months. Which is about as long as it takes sometimes to wait for a Genius Bar appointment.. If McDonald s can throw a whole building up in a couple of weeks, what are they doing in this place and what happened to the employees who worked there??
After an hour long wait time, the one employee actually working wouldn't help because he said our iPhone 7 was purchased in 1978 which is complete BS since there was no such technology in 1978. The guy must have been stoned. The other three employees were goofing off and not doing their jobs creating the long wait. Skip this one, go somewhere else.
Cannot pick up a call within 10 minutes. Shows how apple cares or for that matter store cares. Poor service
I am very excited about my last two visits at this location because of Romeo! I have been there a couple of times before and had a terrible experience with the staff. My last two visits have changed my mind about this store because of Romeo and I will never go back to the northlake location. Romeo was very knowledgeable and helped me through everything! He even helped me with my kids and was extremely patient!. I highly recommend going to this location and speaking with Romeo! I will definitely be going back to purchase a Mac now that I am completely comfortable with Apple again!
horrible. Genius bar couldn't help and their automated answering systems sucks. I could not even get a hold of a South Park employee without getting transferred to some mega repair place in another state. Horrible service..
If you can found a worse apple store, I will buy you a lunch, period. Staff are lazy, don t want to do anything but argue with you.
I always have an excellent experience when I visit the Apple Store at South Park. The staff is so professional and friendly and I never feel like I'm being rushed or that any issue I'm having with my products are trivialized. Love this place.
Waited 2 hours to be seen. I understand it was a walk-in but they told us it would be an hour. Never have I ever waited this long at an apple store.
The people at apple are great, when you go the genius bar they are respectful and give you their attention 100%. Try getting good customer service from Microsoft and you will not complain about Apple, I think they offer great products and service!
Horrid customer service. I waited 3 hours just to be told there was nothing they could do for me unless I spent $350. There seems to be little to no organization as well.

They have a very efficient process set up. Showed up a little early for my genius bar reservation. Was seen within minutes of my reservation time. Vick say down with me and ran some diagnostic tests on my iPhone 6 battery. Found an issue that could not be solved. He got me a new phone and got me out the door in under an hour. Excellent service and painless experience.
Waited literally 3 hrs just to be seen when I got back for the appointment I was told it was another 2 hrs to fix my phone, after that they fixed my phone all my stuff was deleted
Horrible horrible experience! Adam was the re who gave this horrible experience. I reserved the iPhone over the internet for a in store pick up, added my girlfriend as an authorized person on my wireless network account and when she walked in they refused to give her the phone! Adam told her that I forgot to put her name on the PICK UP ORDER screen name where it didn't give me any options! I called 1-800-APPLE (thank god they are so friendly and helpful)the rep (I think so Kelly) she told me that the store is telling wrong policy regarding the upgrade phone as the upgrade phones don't need any authorized users name when the order is being placed! She called and UPDATED the store manager and Adam about the "Apple's" policy! I mean c'mon! really? The store couldn't have verified that information from the "Rule book" or something?? Shameful!
My wife went and everyone was very nice and helpful with getting her exchange and everything transfered!!!
Although it was the iPhone 11x Max Pro Ultra launch day and employees were stretched thin, they were very helpful and respectful.

I have been here many times over the last 3 years, and I can honestly say that everyone has always been very courteous and genuinely interested in helping me. Overwhelmed with customers sometimes, it's amazing that they can get people checked in and direct those to training without complete chaos, and at the same time helping retail customers. Well done!
