Trace was great, perfect service, good suggestions and very professional and knowledgeable about all services. I will certainly upgrading some things on our A/C system soon.
A#1 is really good. Technician name was Sam. He seems to know what he was doing and he explained really well.
Tech was very efficient, knowledgeable and most of all professional. He did a thorough and complete check of downed unit and explained his findings while also correcting the issues with no guarantees (honesty) because of the age of the unit.
We thought we might be low on freon because the unit didn't seem to be cooling properly. Jordan came out and checked it and said it was working properly. Only had to pay the service fee but it was worth it for the peace of mind to know nothing was wrong.
Great service. Nice technician. I was completely satisfied with the work we received.
Overall great experience and quick service! Let me know about any issues and no pressure to repair/replace anything.
Purchased a new A/C system three years ago through this company and couldn't be more pleased. Techs are always on time when they come out twice a year for system checkout, they are professional and courteous. I got bids from three other companies and A#1 is the only one that seemed genuinely honest.
I've used A#1 for everything from A/C to electrical to plumbing for the past 3 years. Usually, I'm okay with how they run their business, but this time I feel like they tried to scam me.
I called because our A/C was having trouble keeping up. We had to charge the unit last year (about 1lb of refrigerant) so I figured it was the same slow leak this year. The tech arrived, glanced at the system for about 5 minutes (without actually measuring refrigerant levels) and told me I needed a new $10,000 system. He said he didn't need to measure the refrigerant when I asked how low it was. After trying to rush me on the sale, I told the tech to give me a day or so to think about it.
I called another local company who had a tech out within a couple hours. 1.5lbs of refrigerant and a thorough leak check later, we just saved $9,800. The tech said the coil is a little old, but no way we need a new system. New coil eventually, but that's it.
That one sketchy push for a whole system just cost A#1 the rest of my business.
Juan M is a really nice guy and knows his stuff! He figured out or problem and had us cooling down in no time!
Our AC went out on Sunday and according to the website they say no overtime charge for nights and weekends, but a $390 capacitor is ridiculous. Also the website says if there is a repair they will waive the service call fee. Did they show up at 9:15PM on a Sunday - Yes, did they fix it - Yes in about 5 minutes but we were charged $449.00 for a 15 minute call and a $30 capacitor. We will never use them again no matter if it is a weekend or not - crooks!
So our AC went out mid summer (end of July, of course) so we called A#1 Air for an assessment. Immediately our tech Chris could tell we needed a new unit. And me being so skeptical thought 'yea right theyre just trying to sell me a new unit' but after he explained and showed me, I completely understood (see photos). Our inside units drip pan was so clogged and some of the coils I think he said were completely dry meaning there was an air flow constriction and would take too much time to replace as well as cost more vs buying a new unit. Of course at first I about freaked....'Where TF will I get 5k+' I thought to myself, then Chris told me they do payment plans. Knowing I have decent credit, I applied and qualified. Turned out to be only $65/mo with nothing down, being it is 10 friggin years though, but still....gotta do whatchya gotta do. The installation technicians Nathan & Mario were great and very professional. Nathan was more of the go to for explaining things and asking questions but they made me feel at ease with everything they did. My ONLY complaint, which has NOTHING to do with A#! Air, is the stupid crane was well over an hour and a half late. Granted it did rain earlier that morning which caused the delay but you all know, sitting in a hot AF house, every second is an eternity. We ended up getting in on the deal (at the time) of a FREE Nest Thermostat and a FREE Google Home Mini. We also could have gotten a FREE CD detector but we did not get a gas powered unit. We didnt get the Mini right away though. We actually JUST got it a few days ago and the AC went out a while back now They ran out of them so we had to call every so often and they were finally able to mail one to us. I think the offer I saw on TV now is a $500 Visa gift card - THATS EVEN SWEEEEEEEETER!!! Dang I missed out on that one!!
Overall though, great service, very friendly and professional and reasonable on price (being that they offer payment plans). They also offer an 18 month payment payoff plan, which obviously would run you a bit more than 65/mo. But they offer the choices and that can be beneficial to a LOT of people out there. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!
A#1 Air, Inc is one of the best Companies in the Metroplex area. Very proffessional, excellent service...Honest and reliable...
First let me say that everyone that I have dealt with in the company is extremely pleasant and nice to deal with. The install of my two new units was very professionally done. The problem I have with the company is the deceptive advertising. Their current ad states that you will get an 18 seer system for 14 seer pricing. This is a total lie. The most they will give you for 14 seer pricing is a 16 seer system. It was going to cost me $10,000 more for an 18 seer system. When I asked the representative about this discrepancy he told me the equipment cost would be the same but the installation cost would be much higher. It is really hard for me to believe that it cost $10,000 ($5000 a unit) difference in installation cost. I would have cancelled the install if it wasn't scheduled for the next day and I had already taken off. So I will live with a sub par system but you don't have to! Byers beware about deceptive ads.
UPDATE: Well they said they would contact me to try and resolve my concerns. They did have someone contact me but with no offered resolutions. Again if they are not going to stand by their advertising, you can find a 14 or 16 seer system for cheaper than what they sold me. In fact I had found a cheaper 16 seer system but went with them when I thought I was going to get a 18 seer system for a 14 seer price like their advertising says.
They are very expensive for small repairs. Cleaning up two small pipes that required 15 minutes cost me almost $500.
The next day one of air conditioner stop working again. After calling their service I understood that it can cost me another $500, spent some time and fix it myself.
I make correction in my initial review:
A week later I got a call from the company management. They agreed with me that the service was overpriced and offered the partial refund.
It shows that they really care about their customers.
So, I give them two more stars.
Very professional. Very helpful! I would definitely recommend this company!
Koyt is professional and represents the company well.
Please beware - this company can do some major damage to your wallet. Unfortunately paid $1000 for a job on one of my ACs that Berkeys charged $360 for the same job.
These guys are pretty dang impressive. Chase came out on time and helped me through the decision process without pressure or tactics and I believe I made a solid selection at a fair price. Then, Miguel and John were amazing... came out the next morning and had me up and running with two new units by early afternoon. Install was high quality and results are awesome.
Was a 5!!, but dropping by the day, all I need is for A1 to email me copies of what was done (new furnace, and some repairs) so I can forward to the title company so I can sell my house. For three days I have called and been told you will have it today. Well it is now 5PM and I don't have documents, so my home closing is in jeopardy. The title company is calling me and my agent 3 or 4 times a day and I have nothing to tell them. Quality of work *****, On-time*****, Customer service after they have your $$ **, at best. If I loose the sale of my home, I will be going to A1 for compensation.
This one guy come out just look my out side unit then talk to me trash how small it's also he told me that they won't do it; if they do will cost me over 20K dollars and he took off. The very sad thing is he's the only guy or company told me that about my unit and refused tge service.. what such a bad customer service.
In 2014 had ac unit replaced. Call A-1 out cause we have a warranty. With warranty in $1809. To replace coil part was cover buy warranty or it would of been $3000. It s August in Texas I go ahead and say fix it cause my kids are hot. This was Friday here we are still with out ac Tuesday cause they are waiting on the part. They are way over priced and it takes them way to long to fix anything or even coming out. When we first call on a Thursday are 5:00pm they couldn t come till1:30 pm Friday. Never again will we use A-1 air. Apparently we don t have to cause it s just manufacture warranty and they have the most expensive labor ever because they take several days to even get out and fix it.
As usual the tech was on time and did exactly what needed to be done. Explained it all to me and even left me a weird little faucet tool that I could use myself if it ever happens again. Very satisfied.
Couldn t have asked for better service. From the first call to the tech that came to locate the problem. Replaced our unit and the 2 techs did an excellent job. Recommend this company
Jamal was great. Excellent service and communication. He was patient and kind. Thank you A-1.
I ve used A#1 Air for years now for my HVAC needs. I am very happy with the service I get. I found them to be a company that I can rely on which is important to me.
A#1 Air ~ Very best in the business! Always there when you need them. Always the most experienced techs and always make sure the service is "above the rest"!
Our furnace conked out, and we were lucky that they responded so fast! Gerry was very professional and knowledgeable.
Sam A. did a fantastic job. Extremely professional and polite.
This is a Public Service Message for anyone considering having Heating or AC work done.
A few days ago, my husband and I noticed that the air conditioner wasn t cooling. We purchased our AC unit from A#1 Air a few years back, so he said to give them a call.
When the came to give me the report, he said he noticed on their records that we d had several service calls in the past couple of years, and we might want to think about getting a new AC system. I thought to myself, ummm I don t think we ve had many repairs in the past couple of years and besides, this system isn t that old. I told him no thank you, we d just repair the existing system.
He said the evaporator coil was busted, and we d lost most of our coolant, which had caused the compressor to lock up outside. He said the total for the recommended work would be $3,128. The technician said he d need payment to schedule the work, so I wrote a check, and we scheduled the repairs for the same day.
Later I was talking with a realtor friend of mine, and he suggested I get a second opinion, so we called Jacob at Everest Heating & Cooling a local, independent HVAC service company. Jacob said that if it was what A#1 Air said he thought he could do the job for $2500, but he d like to come out and evaluate the situation first. Jacob evaluated our system and came back with the following analysis:
Our system is an Amana not the Lennox system that A#1 Air wrote up on service sheet.
Our system is under warranty through 2021, including the evaporator coil A#1 Air did not tell me this.
Not busted evaporator coil as A#1 Air said no replacement needed.
We only needed 7 pounds of refrigerant. Did not need to replace all of it as A#1 Air indicated on their service sheet.
The total for the repairs from Everest was $283.50, a whopping $2,844.50 less than A#1 Air. Because Jacob was very nice and helpful and saved us so much money, my husband ended up purchasing a one year service agreement as well, bringing our grand total with Everest to $421.50 still $2,706.50 less than A#1 Air.
I feel like A#1 Air was trying to take advantage of us. They tried to sell me a new system when ours is still under warranty. When that didn t work, they tried to charge us for parts and service that weren t broken, and even if they were broken, the parts at least would be covered by warranty.
What s more, Jacob knew what A#1 Air had quoted us. He could have easily agreed with their assessment and charged us the $2500 he d initially quoted, but he didn t. He was honest and ethical and told us the system just needed refrigerant and took care of the repair on the spot. And he didn t charge us any extra for coming out after hours.
Everest Air and Heating has definitely earned all of our AC and heating business in the future. And you can bet I will be telling everyone what a great job he did and recommending them to everyone I know. Thanks, Everest and Jacob for being ethical and honest and having your customer s best interests at heart.
Not happy with their plumbing services at all. I had a clogged sewer line and they came out to assess the problem. Got on the roof and used a camera to find the problem and made an unsuccessful attempt to clear the pipe. Charged me $504 which did nothing to remedy the problem AND recommended that I replace the sewer line at a price of $13,000. I had another plumber come for a second opinion and they cleared the line at the cleanout and recommended a high pressure water jet to further flush the line. Total cost: $357. Have used A#1 for HVAC services for a few years now but will cancel my contract with them.

They called at 9:30am said there were two people a head of us at 5:00pm after calling A#1 Air they finally showed up but wanted to charge 250.00 to blow out the drain line. Other companies do this as part of there tuneup. I would not recomend A#1 air.
Didn't get the thermostat I was promised. They started a sale after I purchased. Other than that. Good job
The great service and kindness of the employees was great. William (Mike) B., was very professional and made sure I would be taken care of. My attic is tight and the crew he sent out made it happen. A few hiccups happened, but A#1 Air handled the matters in a timely manner.
Thanks to Mike, the tech crew, and Corey for a job well done.
Thank you, A#1!
Terrible. Cannot come close to hitting time windows. Once they finally made it out, the problem started again 2 hours after they left. Probably the worst service experience I've ever seen. Sad.
Fantastic service as always with A #1 Air. A special thank you to Luis for a fantastic job done thoroughly & professionally.
I'm writing this review because after reading most of the reviews I am seeing a trend of the same type of experience.
We had them come out to do our semi-annual "part of the family" a/c tune up. While here I asked the tech how much it would be to add hard start kits to both a/c's. He said $400 a piece but we get a 10% discount and that we should do it. I asked him if there was any other discount to do it for less since I can see the actual kit is about $50 online. He said no. I told him I would think about it while he was checking refrigerant levels on both units outside.
While he was checking refrigerant the 2nd air conditioner I told him I would hold off on the hard start kits and possibly just do it myself. This seemed to annoy him and he said he would make a note of that on the report. Then he said the a/c appeared to be a pound low on the refrigerant and pointed to the gauges. I don't know what the gauges should read. I then explain that it had actually been running good but that we might replace the unit in the spring. He then said we can't warrant this unit if it's low on Freon. I then asked if they would warrant it if we did add Freon and he said no. He then let a lot of what I would assume is Freon out of the system when he removed the gauges. Loud hissing sounds and what appeared to be graphite particles spraying everywhere for about 3-4 seconds. Not sure what the equivalent of Freon that might be, but for a system he said is a pound low on Freon, it couldn't have helped.
I have another year and half left of pre-paid "part of the family" maintenance program, but I'm not sure I trust them to work on my equipment anymore.
We purchased a new Daiken system from them 5 years ago and in that time both the blower and a/c coil have been replaced. The coil replacement was free of charge. That was nice. The blower replacement was just over the 5 year mark and they charged only labor of $800 to replace it, but the blower motor was covered.
I feel like this company was much better to deal with prior to 2019. Honestly, it wouldn't surprise me if they might do something to sabotage my system to need them to come back out to "fix" it....like purposefully discharging freon when removing pressure gauges.
I think they are really out to sell systems and equipment than perform repairs and maintenance.
I highly recommend Dillon for the great work that he did to get my electrical going for my ceiling fan in my bedroom. I also recommend A1 electric for anything that u need done!
We have used A #1 Air since we moved to Texas six years ago because we trust them and they always come out promptly any time we have an issue. We bought our replacement central air system for Damian Morales at A #1 air because he is the person who actually worked on our old system. He explained to us the life cycle of our old unit and the advantages of a new system. Damian told us how A #1 Air pays such attention to detail and they stand behind their work. I recommend A #1 Air and Damian Morales to anyone with HVAC concerns.
Repaired the issue if a burnt wire in a single circuit that impacted several light switches from working. My issue is not really With the electric repair but with the pricing. He was at my place a total of exactly one hour. 15 minutes spent looking at other things that they say are a part of their service but had absolutely nothing to do with my issue. 45 minutes spent on my actual issue and the cost was $500. Initially Said if it didn't take him too long to troubleshoot he could negotiate the price. When I ask for that negotiation at the end, he said he couldn't do it that it took too long. It has been 2 weeks and I have called their customer response area twice to discuss this overpricing and no one has returned my call. I have had 2 calls for surveys on how the service went, but neither could help me with the pricing issue.
A#1 Air is involved in a very deceitful business practice. Their sales rep will tell you that you are financing your purchase through GreenSky at no interest for 6 months. But no, read the GreenSky contract and you will find that it is 6 months of interest only payment. This is not a benefit at all, why would you what to defer payment for 6 month. Also, A#1 price and service not that good. Installers were good.
Damien was great, very professional and kind hearted. I give 5 stars for the great work he did to solve the issue with my air. I will recommend him and A1 to anyone in need of your services. Thank you Damien and thank you A1. God Bless.
Peter O. was nice and professional. He took the time to educate me on my AC system and gave me good recommendations. He also told me about other services A 1 Air provided with estimates. He was not pushy about the services I needed he just recommended and gave a through explanation for each. I appreciate his patience and due diligence.Great service and I highly recommend this company. Thank you Peter and A1 Air.
BEWARE!!!! I had a squeaky furnace I thought just needed a tune-up, and a thermostat I wanted changed out with a new one I bought from Lowe's, so I asked them to come out and take a look. The tech installed the new thermostat with no problems then he looked at the furnace. After him looking at it, I was told that there was a crack in the Inducer Motor housing and that the housing and the inducer needed to be replaced. They red tagged the unit because of the crack, and said until it was fixed, they would have to shut the gas off. This was on a Friday, in January whenever it was in the 20's and 30's outside. They said it would take anywhere from 5-7 business days to get the part in from California and gave me an estimate of $918. I was told that they had a financing program for 18 months same as cash, so I applied and was approved. After further looking at the estimate I noticed that the parts and labor were not separated, there was only a total number, and not a break down of the two. After talking to the tech about this he told me that the office is the one who gave him the price and that I would have to call and talk to them, so I did. I spoke to the the customer service manager about why there was not a break down of the parts and labor, and they couldn't give me a straight answer. They said the price included the training for their techs, labor and the part. The CS manager said that the tech is the one who quotes the price and that I would have to speak with him. I explained to him I already did that, and that the tech said, "that I should speak to the office." After getting the run around I told him that I wanted to get a second opinion and to not order anything and put everything on hold. So I made a few phone calls to different heating and A/C companies and spoke to a gentlemen who came out to my house that Monday, with the the inducer motor and housing, and charged me $400 flat!!! I called back to A#1 Air and asked to speak to the manager and I told her that I had my furnace fixed by another company and that they tried to over charge me by $500!! I was very upset as you can imagine. I told her that I had opened a line of credit with the fiance company through her office and that there better not be a charge on it, to which she said, "that I would have had to sign off on the paperwork after the work was completed to incur a charge." Being that I never had them fix my furnace or do any work on it, I left it at that. Three weeks later I get a statement in the mail showing that they did indeed put the charge on the line of credit, but then issued a credit the very next day. These people will over charge you if they think you will fall for it!! Please don't use A#1 Air, or if you do get a second opinion if things don't seem right. They will take advantage of people who don't know any better!! I didn't want to give them one star, but had to in order to post this.
Michelle from Ft.Worth
Great service, experience technicians.
Would definitely recommend to others.
This was the most professional group we've ever had the pleasure of doing business with.
They arrived on time, ready to work.
The electrician arrived prior and completed his part in time for the installers.
Joe and Terry were very competent, completing install sooner than I'd thought possible. They explained the system and it's operation, even installed our own Nest thermostat.
We can't say enough about this company.
A special thanks to Michael Whitten for speedy delivery and follow up.
We will be referring A#1 Air to all our friends and business contacts.
Marcie & Doug Bowling
Matt Sistrunk came by my home an sold me a AC unit that have dropped my electric bill down more than half in the summer I was paying 450.00 a month & now I'm paying 210.00 a month thanks guys for helping me save
We have had a great experience using A#1 Air for our HVAC and heating maintenance. Jamal is very professional and helpful, without being pushy. We will definitely continue to use them!
Tech found issue right away but claimed I had wayyyy too many due to age and racked up repairs to $1k plus.
I get a second opinion and got the one thing that needed repairs for $75.
ImI staying away from this scam
We have been extremely satisfied with A#1 Air since our first phone call. Their customer service has been outstanding. We have recommended the company multiple times. It s been hard to expect everyone to keep being so helpful and nice.
However, the last technician stood out even more than all the others. Corey White took the time to listen to what we were telling him, came up with a solution, and made several adjustments to our system. He took the time to show us several features about our fancy thermostat. Turns out there were settings we didn t know about that were causing most of my issues.
We have Corey s card on the fridge and will request him from now on.
Do not do business with this business. The tech's name is Justin. Either he does not know what he is doing or they are scamming people. Justin said I needed a new compressor, wires fixed & some freon. He was going to charge me $3,000. My AC is only 8 years old. I got a second opinion from an AC man my brother knows & he was disgusted at what he heard about A#1. He said to report them to BBB. Anyway I found out it was the capacitor that went out. So he replaced it, tuned it up & just refreshed the Freon. It only cost me $350. What a price difference. So do not do business with A#1. I would rate them a 0 if I could.
The entire team that assisted me was awesome. Constant communication on the next steps was greatly appreciated. Toby S. was especially helpful. His professionalism and product knowledge was useful in helping me make the decisions I needed to make. He informed me of my options and provided his opinion as to what he thought would work best. I'm truly appreciative to him and the entire team. Thank you.
Jamal was fabulous, punctual and extremely informative. Would love to have him as my technician. again..
Dustin Bryant assisted me with my winter checkup and gave very detailed information of what I needed to have done and what he recommended. I actually provided me with video of my air ducts and all the build up on the inside of the ducts and how bad they needed to be cleaned. I gave me a sense of trust and knowing that he was honestly providing suggestions of what needs to be done to keep my AC/Heater unit running at its optimum potential. Thank you A#1 for employing such honest people and if all of your employees are of Dustin's caliber then you will always have my business. Thank you.
A #1 Air goes above and beyond in customer service. They are the ones to trust with any of your A/C or Heating needs. I couldn't be happier with the service I received and would highly recommend them to everyone I know.
Sam A. from A#1 Air serviced our AC unit thoroughly. Thanks for the professionalism Sam. We will never forget who helped us out in the heat of Last summer when our AC unit broke down. Thanks A#1 Air.
Called A#1 Air to come look at our AC unit due to it blowing warm air. Watched the guy spray refrigerant on the AC unit, and he tried to tell me there was a leak. He did the same exact thing on the inside coil, he said there was a leak, and I hear him spray refrigerant. He also told me the compressor was bad. So his recommendation was to replace the whole system. I first called another local company to come give it a look as well. His first comments were, "who was recently here, they sprayed refrigerant everywhere?" He fired up the system, flipped the breakers a couple times to check the valves, and it was magic...the whole system worked fine. Turns out it was a sticky valve, and no issues at all. House is cooling perfect, not refrigerant need for that "leak" that A#1 air said we had.
Such a scam! They work on Commission and this is how they stay alive, scamming people out of money. Please don't use this company, please go to a reputable manufactures website (Bryant was recommended by a distant friend that does HVAC) and find a good service team. That's what I did, and it saved me thousands of dollars. Hope you will do the same.
UPDATE: The response to this review has gone no where. The "make this right" is just a front. I've had no one even try to contact me. Just makes my point even more.
I've used these folks a couple times and they've been great. This last time was classic - one of my (very old) compressors wouldn't turn on so I called for a service. My A#1 tech Quincy had to take the whole thing apart to untangle wires that had somehow strangled the propeller and shut off the motor. I'm convinced most techs would have been stumped and probably would have pushed to sell a new compressor, but he diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, then charged a minimal trip fee - much less than I expected. I'm referring them to others.
IF YOU DONT DO BUSINESS WITH A#1 YOU ARE THROWING MONEY OUT THE WINDOW
Called A#1 out to replace our air conditioning system. Kurt was knowledgable, polite, and efficient while he was over. A few days after having him provide an estimate we found out we had foundation issues. It took several weeks to clear up but at no point did I feel pressured, annoyed, or like I was just another sell to close. When it came ti.e to pull the trigger, the installation experts Noel, Rafael, and Santiago did a bang up job. The quality of their work was outstanding and they treated my home like they lived there. Tanks for the Daikin Fit system guys, it is phenominal.
A#1 Air addressed our A/C problems quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I strongly recommend them for your HVAC needs.
This is how I was greeted via chat by their CSR after the storm in February 2021.
Whats going on? I'll be upfront with you and let you know my plumbers are booked up until mid to late march due to all the calls we're recieving with busted water lines and such. This is the busiest I've seen them!
I would never give them my business; rude and unprofessional.
They charged me $217 to check my outlet. $168 for the checking and still charged me for the dispatch of $48. These guys will stick it to you if they can....
Jerry came in and had it fixed in about 10 minutes. Worth every penny
I was highly disappointed with the diagnostic on my HVAC unit. My AC unit was not working like normal, so I called for a diagnostic. I was informed my entire unit needed to be replaced for no less than $8,000 because the compressor was no longer functioning properly. To compare prices, I called another company and they found my compressor was unplugged and the unit was a little low on refrigerant. An $8,000 bill turned into a $700 bill.
The worst part is when I called A#1 air customer service to inform them what was found, they had a sales manager call me back to sell me a complete unit instead of listening to my concerns on the diagnostic performed.
Bryan M was on time, very polite and very knowledgeable. A1 AIR is best company I have ever done business with.
After having problems off and on with my Ac and heating unit I called A-1 Air , Vicky checked and measured and gave me a fair price for installing both the ac and heating unit, I had it installed on Wed.Aug.5th , I was very pleased with the work Omar and Santiago did very professional ,very neat ,and left every thing in my house and outside picked up and clean, They know their work Thanks
We were happy with the service we got from making the appointment to having our needs serviced.
Had A#1 Air install a unit 5 years ago that ran constantly and has given me $220 electric bills every month ... after finally switching companies I found out that the unit was too small all this time! It was sized for a 1200 square foot house not a 1500 square foot house ...
I m sure someone from A#1 Air will get on here and tell me to call their customer service line - I ve got that number and it just rings and rings ...
I ll be filing a small claims case later this week
Do yourself a favor and use any company except this one
Levi was a breath of fresh air!!! Soooo professional..nice to see a contractor who was not a con. Very knowledgeable!!! Even taught me a thing or two about air conditioning. I learned a new word..."capasitor" yay!!!! Fantastic service!!!
Thanks so much!!
Teresa T.
My HVAC Technician Andy Vestal was simply the BEST! Very thorough, informative, and educational. Very professional and nice and knew what he was doing to repair things quickly. Thank you A#1 Air for Andy!
Dustin B. Did a very thorough job. He is very considerate and knowledgable.
Prompt response to service request. Robert was friendly and professional and explained exactly what needed to be done and why.
Had a complete AC installed - and not a low end unit. They installed it incorrectly. They hooked up a supply line to what was supposed to be a return line. The error has damaged my home! A month later I am still trying to get the unit installed correctly and the damage to my home fixed. The 100% satisfaction guarantee and no hassle guarantee are just words they use. The customer service has been awful. You would think someone could step up and own this mistake that has damaged my home and try to make it right. No. I'm having to constantly call and demand my home be put back to the condition it was before they stepped foot in it.
I was told my service time would be between 2-6pm. I got a call at 12:30 stating I was next so would be there right at 2. I hurried home from work. At 4:30pm still no, so I called. I was told they would get a status and call back. At 5:30pm, I got a call back to tell me someone was on the way. At 6:30pm, a tech showed up. He took 2 hours, so I missed my 7pm meeting. After done, he pushed selling me a service plan. He explained that it included 2 pds of Freon for each of my air conditioners. He said that their hooking everything up and testing it uses 1 pd alone so good to have plan to add as needed since costs $100/pd. I asked if he tested it today, and he said yes all was good. I asked if he replaced the 1 pd he used up. He said no but if I bought the service plan he would add it next time. What??? Today's service was supposed to include up to 2 pds per unit. You use up a pd testing and don't replace and then want me to pay in advance for you to come later and replace it? I don't think so.
I told the tech that I didn't want to wait 8 hours from time I get a call to say I'm next to the time a tech completed. He said that if I buy a service plan there is a time guarantee. Time guarantee or discount for being late today? No.
He also said that the reps who call to give time estimates are young and new so they will learn how to estimate service times as they go on, so I should understand the time wait. He also said there isn't sufficient communication between the techs and call center. What I am hearing is that your call staff is undereducated, undertrained with a heavy roll over. That is not a legitimate excuse.
I politely said no thank you to the service plan. Paid the full amount and 8 hours later found out my AC is in fine working order with one less pd of Freon. Not impressed!
The worst service. I was appointed to have a technician to take a look at my ac 8:30am but no one came. I called the service center and all they say is "will be there within 15 mins," been waiting more than a hour. These people are wasting my time
Our AC system was experiencing problems so we called A#1 Air for service. Kevin from Customer Service was incredibly patient and helpful as we worked thru the specifics of the problem and the details of scheduling the repair/replacement unit. Rafael and AB came out to install a new unit and in just a bit over 2 hours we were up and running and haven't missed a beat since. Rafael and AB were not only pleasant and efficient in their work but they also took the time to explain things to us and they insured that we were completely satisfied with the process and transaction. Could not have asked for a better resolution to our AC issues!!
Happy and Cool Customers,
Cody & Elizabeth Jones
I had them check my AC system and was very pleased with the tech Cameron H and his prompt timing and information about my system. He went over specs and details which was really nice, good to have a trustworthy person and company for a great price.
I called as soon as I got home and seen the downstairs nest thermostat had an error code on it and Daniel arrived within 3 hours of the call. He was super nice and taught me everything I ask of him about the system. He had the unit us and running within a hour. I am a business owner myself and to see customer service the same way we provide is just wonderful. Thank you A#1 Air for the great customer service and support.
03/01/2016 - I was talking to Heather about the city inspector coming out and mentioned one of the flues were leaning and she had a tech out within a couple of hours, I can not say enough about the service. With service like this I can't see why anyone would use anyone else but A#1 Air.
Very courteous and patient. Explained everything he would do in advance. Also helped me resolve questions about the evaporator coil lawsuit pending with Lennox. Would be happy to see Peter for follow-on seasonal checks.
We just had some A/C work done this morning. Justin was amazing very professional and kind. Cleaned up after he was done. I am very pleased with the service we received. Highly recommend this company.
After purchasing a brand new unit for almost $7,000, I can t get them to show up to troubleshoot it in a timely manner. Need them to come during the heat of the day when the problem exists and they have not made it in 3 different appointments. So much for a warranty if you can t get them to show up. There are plenty of companies that will take your money and give you bad service- this one is the leader of the pack.
I couldn t be more pleased with the service from A#1 Air from the AC rep Chase to the service techs Juan and Wilbur. The techs were thorough, polite, knowledgeable and made certain the job was done right. I will definitely use A#1 Air again. Special thanks to John for a great job!
Sam and Josh are two excellent techs. They have both serviced our systems semi-annually. we recently had both systems fail and Sam came out late Saturday and diagnosed condenser leaks. Both Sam and Josh came on their DAY OFF to repair our systems so we would not be without AC for several days. They both are very professional and thorough. Big thanks to both of them.
These guys do a top notch job, called and let me know when their coming, prompt response, protected everything, they got the job done precise and looks great, works great. I am very pleased with the job Francisco and Robert did this morning they worked really well together and got the install job done and on working great. Thanks for taking care of us and having such professionalism doing your job.
Chase did a great tune up and gave great advice for moving forward.
My new condenser unit installed by A#1 started making a horrible racket after only 72 hours. I've made numerous calls and had a technician confirm it is failing. But no one at A#1 Air will tell me when (if?) they will fix it.
They got the job done but of course tried to upsale me and say I needed other repairs. I know I didn t and they failed to explain how they reached their conclusions for needed repairs or upgrades. Technician was in a rush and more concerned about the suspected rain. I told him he had time and I was right.
Logan goes beyond the call of duty on every visit. He is professional, knows his stuff very well, cares about the customer and he s a nice guy. I have a two year old system and my system is checked in the spring and fall. Logan spends the extra time to check EVERY part of the system inside and out. He s not in a hurry and can answer any and every question I have. He asks if I have any questions or any concerns with the system.
Logan should teach classes on customer service! A#1 Air, you have one Amazing technician!!
Outrageous pricing. More than double Arthur Hagar AC in Fort Worth on the same equipment. I guess they have to pay for that advertising somehow...
