Fantastic dining experience. All of the food was fresh, amazing, and unique in their individual ways. Was stunned by the use of Indian elements in traditionally American dishes and vise versa. Was not entirely thrilled about the ambience and feel that it could be improved.

I've now stayed here three times. The rooms are lovely, well-appointed, and comfortable, not to mention pristine and well-kept. And the service is always super friendly. Having stayed in other, more expensive SF hotels, I'm now convinced the Taj is the best choice!

The Tj Compton is a beautiful boutique hotel that has a high quality well trained staff. From your entrance into the hotel to your departure, you will be well take are of. The dining room and bar areas are small and intimate. The food is excellent - gourmet with a twinge of Indian seasonings.
