Just had the WORST experience ever with your hotel...

Just had the WORST experience ever with your hotel in Albany, OR. The room was filthy, the bathroom door had a hole busted through it, broken towel rack, no tp holder and boogers on the wall. You can't make this stuff up. Also Amanda at the front desk was rude and didn't seem to know what was going on.( also, I don't think having a lip piercing is appropriate for a front desk job). They wouldn't refund our money but gave us another room. Which was cleaner but the beds are older than I am and the room door looked like it was kicked in before. We are military and have to travel often. We have always stayed at Law Quinta, but never again! This was unexcepable!

Reservation made in january 2019, yet still overbooked the day we arrived. Corporate Customer Care is horrible. Staff is obviously in the wromg profression.

My daughter and I stayed September 26, 2015 at #0921 in San Antonio. The service was good. However, upon the return visit we stood waiting at the bus doors for the shuttle to leave at 4:45 am October 1, 2015. The sign in the lobby said the shuttle began running at 4:15 am and ran every half hour. That means 4:15; 4:45; 5:15; etc. NO! Bobby and Hilary say this means 5:00; 5:30; etc. ???! So.... after having had surgery in San Antonio my daughter had to stand in long TSA line at airport without my help in lifting her bags because I was left hurrying for my gate as a result of Laquinta Inn's misrepresentation of shuttle schedule. We won't fool with Laquinta again and we WILL do TSA PRECHECK!

I reserved a hotel room for one night stay at Laquinta Inn Bruce B Downs Tampa Florida. This clerk who was on duty the morning of was upset at her staff because her staff had told me I can check in Laquinta Inn anytime after 7 am. The clerk was very upset she started saying that her clerks should have not told me that I can come in after 7am. Then the clerk told me what if there was not any rooms. I said that does not have nothing to do with me. I also told her your clerks gave me a time that I can check in, which was after 7am. The clerk also told me that she has to charge me an additional $14 I told her I never knew from the other clerk who made the reservation that I had to pay this fee. This clerk then gave me a room key that did not work for the room she registered me in.

I had to go back to her to address the key does not work for the room she gave us. My grand daughter and I was very embarrass by the way this clerk showed she was so upset. This clerk was very rude towards me and my grand daughter. This clerk was talking to me with an attitude in front of the guest who was at hotel eating breakfast. This clerk then mention to me that her clerks should know better and that she was going to talk to them because she train them. Then the clerk mention to me the other hotels would not let a customer check in until 3 pm. I said I dont know I just wanted to get a room an rest. This clerk should really know how to talk or act around children. This clerk also acted like it was my faught about the reservation the clerk made the day before. This clerk had a attitude that was address towards me with her body language and tone. I am embarrass that this happened in front of my grand daughter, who mention that the customers eating breakfast was staring at the clerk and us. This clerk need more training, training that teaches body language in the workplace.

Lack of training perhaps on good customer service skills, and communication because lack of knowledge to properly address issue....... I had a very embarrassing moment due to the left hand didn't know what the right hand was doing..... You would think with today's technology we could be more efficient in the 20th century....... Back to the drawing board.........

LaQuinta is ripping people off!!! Stayed here in Durham, NC for a birthday party, which was told to the front desk clerk upon arrive. They ask you to pay a $75 damage fee without even intending on paying you back. Online during booking, the website doesn't say anything about this surcharge. Had I known I would be charged an additional $75 on top of the $120 room rate, I would have took my business elsewhere. You can't even leave trash outside the waste basket or you'll be charged! That is absurd and I've never heard of this before. They will no longer get any of my services nor will I recommend them to friends and family traveling.

Reserved on-line for Sat-Sunday. Noticed it only reserved for one vs. two nights. When I called Savannah location to ensure that I could stay in the same room for both days, they informed me that they did not see a Saturday reservation. They said that even though I had changed the original default date from Friday to Saturday arrival, it did not get recognized on the system. I had to pay $140.00 for a night I did not stay there.
When contacting the hotel, the desk clerk said he could not do anything about it. I asked for a Manager, he said none were there. I asked to leave a note and he refused to take down my information.
This is the 3rd disappointment. I stayed previously at a La Quinta trying to use my rewards and they claimed I was not part of the program. I tried to sign up right then and there and they told me I could not, because my phone # and e-mail were already part of the rewards system, but that there was no number they could use for a discounted stay associated with my information. The manager was supposed to return my call to speak to me about this issue and never did.

I also get texts stating I can get a 15% discount if I stay before a certain date in July and when I go to use it, it responds that the discount is not currently available.

I kindly asked for a 1pm checkout during breakfast hours at the brand new The Colony, TX location. The man could only communicate marginally; and, then he had the gaul to tell me no one could help me until 8am(?).
I called corporate- They won't even accommodate leaving a voice message until 8am, even though breakfast hours are 6am-9am!
I appreciate the upgraded accommodations, physically, to the newer La Quinta locations. But the customer service, training of staff, and level of communication skills leaves Much to be desired!
If a hotel wishes to upgrade their reputation, it must upgrade its customer service level, not just the colors of the decor!
I am tremendously disappointed! This is the third La Quinta I've tried since the upgrade efforts: San Jose, CA, The Colony, TX, and another in the Silicon Valley area.

One disappointment after the next. Management must improve their standards of operations and service to the customer, if they want to change their image from an old flea-bag, mold-infested, cheap motel to a more upscale mid-range hotel with more than just decor. Luxury hotels demand a higher level of service if you expect to raise the prices. Did anyone in upper management attend university level education? Does anyone in upper management possess a Master's Degree in Business Administration or a degree of any sort... from a notable university?

I'm appalled. No more La Quinta's for me. There are so many more excellent choices where I can expect to be treated like a human being and not a piece of luggage. Disappointment galore!

This hotel is dirty I use to work there they have bed bugs and the housekeepers barely do their job by keeping it cleaned and the management is horrible they have employees that are on drugs such as meth ect. Very poor and unfair business. Did I mention they found out Prostitution was going on in the hotel police had to come up there to check it out when I was working my shift. I also got fired because I wasn t feeling well and one of the manager told me to have a seat for a few and the GM asked me why I was sitting down and I told him I was told to sit for a few not once did he ask how I felt was I ok no he was worried about why I was sitting on his clock making free money is what he called it how can you run a business when your employees are not feeling well how can you expect your employees to give good service to customers if they do not feel well he did not care not one bit that I wasn t feeling well... I asked him was it a problem for me to be back here because I wasn t feeling well I was told to get off his property and told the manager that TOLD ME TO SIT FOR A MINUTE to exterminate me because of that not once did I get smart but he took me asking him is there a problem as me being smart I never knew asking a question was being smart if that s the case he was being smart asking me why I was sitting down on his clock so with that being said now that I don t work there and he fired me over Absolutely nothing and it want matter now if I tell the truth about this hotel I wouldn t Recommend anyone to book with this poor unfair company

It was so many things wrong at the LaQuinta Inn in Salisbury, MD that it is shameful. What I would say is that the place is being held together with minimal staffing and outdated and nonfunctional furniture, appliances and mentality. The manager instantly took the side of her staff ans Credit me back $200 only for the disservice I and my Family " may have felt we experienced". I booked three rooms for three nights. It's not about the money only, it's about the fact that the hotel is a sinking ship that can be restored if they invested in the quality and stopped worrying about quantity. The people will come if they invest in sustaining loyalty with their guest.

I have to say that we were driving back from Florida to Minnesota recently. We were forced to stay overnight in Chattanooga Tennessee because of Bad weather in the Smokie Mountains. It was getting late and we are a Family of 5 and our Golden Retriever. We needed to make a decision on where to stay quickly as it was getting later and wondering how many places accept pets? We came across La Quinta and immediately pulled in along with 3 or 4 other cars behind us. We did get 1 of the last 2 rooms. I have to say the accommodations were Very clean and Comfortable for us all! We left early the next morning for a long ride home. 2 hours down the road my daughter notified me she left her purse in the room. My wife immediately called the hotel, The manager had Housekeeping Captain retrieve the purse. They called us back within 5 minutes to say they had the purse locked in the safe. We gave our information for mailing to us at home in Minnesota. I have to tell you my daughter received her purse with all personal belongings all there. I especially want to commend the Staff for their honesty as her $154.00 dollars cash was also in the purse. THANK YOU TO ALL!! I will recommend La Quinta to all I know and I hope all Hospitality Establishments could learn from this OUTSTANDING Service. We will definately be staying at La Quinta in the Future. THANK YOU Again. Our date of stay was Saturday March 11, 2017. (We checked in Late)

******Warning! Theft! I stayed at the La Quinta in Austin, Texas off 300 E. 11th street and while I was away at a concert with my daughter, between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m., housekeeping came in my room and stole all my cash out of my wallet. 440 dollars. They replaced one trash bag, replenished 2 towels as well that's how I know it was housekeeping. The hotel claims they don't have cameras. I was never informed about their safety deposit boxes behind the desk until after this incident. Do not stay here! Warning!******

Sorry to say that after several years of regular stays at various locations it would appear that La Quinta has become more "pet" friendly than "guest" friendly.
As we are discussing booking for our next trade show, we were reminded about a recent experience at one of your hotels when the front desk person said they could do NOTHING about a continuously barking dog in a nearby room. We explained that we were not able to sleep but that made no difference.
Therefore ............. part of our planning would include a hotel where we COULD SLEEP at least a few hours during the night we are paying for !!!!

This is about the location in Goodlettsville, Tennessee. The staff was rude, they lie, they cheated my family out of a night's stay with me showing them the receipt for costs paid. The general manager is flaming, the air didn't work, the phone in the room didn't work, the pool wasn't open, the noise from the construction still going on started at dawn, the breakfast area and hallways were not air conditioned, and many other torments too numerous to mention. never ever stay here!

My cat and I stayed in the La Quinta Inn in Deerfield Beach, Florida (100 SW 12th Ave) for 5 days. The staff was very attentive to my needs, the room was clean, and best of all - no bed bug reports in the BedBug Registry. The other La Quinta on Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach has a history of bed bug issues as reported in the Bed Bug registry.

We stayed at the Boerne, TX La Quinta. I kept waking up in the middle of the night coughing, all full of congestion, it was awful. The next AM I heard a dog barking in the room next door. Well #1 on my list of allergies is DOGS! If I had known they were pet friendly I would not have stayed there. #2 on my list of allergies is MOLD! I discovered the carpet under the AC and all the way over to the desk was wet, ewww! The staff were very nice but did not offer me any kind of compensation. I have been sick from allergies since then. We got a room at the Hampton Inn down I10 and it was fabulous, Very clean, the AC worked and NO DOGS. Just know I love dogs I just can't be around them.

My husband had an extended stay here in Canton, OH. His card was not working to extend his stay for a couple more days so I called and tried to see if one of my cards would work to get him through for a couple of days and it wouldn't it was declined. So I booked a stay for him else where. A reservation was never made at La Quinta, yet I woke up today with 2 notifications that La Quinta had ran my card twice for a two night stay when my husband never even stayed there. I called the hotel immediately to ask them to refund the unauthorized purchase and the front desk "lady, Christina" raised her voice at me telling me that the charges were approved by me, I told her that I didn't approve any charges and I especially wouldn't approve them if my husband never stayed there??? She continued to tell me that this was my fault and that I approved this and "She'd see what she could do." I called the manager later in the day and the MANAGER had a worse temper than his front desk lady. He IMMEDIATLY was defensive and yelling when I tried explaining I never authorized a charge for a room that was never stayed in and he came back telling me he was going to turn my husband into the cops?? Ugh for what??? I told him I'd just call corporate and solve the issue there and he laughed and said good luck and once again started yelling at me. Keep in mind my husband and his on the road crew have been giving this Hotel solid business for over a month and COULD have been for a solid TWO years. If this issue is not resolved I'll make sure to have 100 PLUS guys find a different hotel to book at no matter where they travel. ABSOLUTLEY RIDICULOUS.

I've been tying to resolve my issues with rooms that we booked in Mesa AZ. They have confirmations mixed with other guests. They have rooms that we have confirmation numbers not being found. Spoke with someone by the name of Brandy who has been trying to be helpful but end result just want us to book rooms again. The venue is this weekend. We are the host and had 15 rooms booked out with now the fear of guest showing up from many different states possibly not having rooms . I will no longer use La Quinta inn in any state ever again. This company sucks!

My husband & I have stayed at the same LaQuinta at 2725 International Speedway, Daytona Beach, FL. for many, many years. Unfortunately, I've watched it go downhill badly over the years. This past weekend of the Daytona 500, we spent 5 nights at this facility once again. This time was by far the worst ever. The room had such a terrible smell from spray that maintenance brought in a BIG fan to try to elevate the stench. It didn't work. When maintenance was in our room, he removed a piece of hair stuck on the bathroom door with grease because since housekeeping never did. When I called the front desk around 3 PM, I was advised there were no other rooms to switch. OK, we went to dinner and upon our return, the stench was still horrible. I called the front desk again and this time Stephanie was on duty. She changed our room for us with another executive king which is what we always get. The manager, Amanda Lowe is absolutely wonderful as was Michael the previous manager. Stephanie was wonderful as she was able to make another executive king room appear when the other girl earlier couldn't or didn't want to be bothered. This LaQuinta is in desperate need of NEW CARPETS, holes fixed, torn hems on the sheer drapes replaced, and a general overhaul which is LONG PAST DUE. If it weren't for the fact that this was the Daytona 500 weekend, we would have left the LaQuinta IMMEDIATELY and gone elsewhere. I hope this review opens the eyes of someone in Corporate that truly gives a damn. Thank you, Leslie Simonds, Returns Club #W1281195.

Within a few hours of check in, our toilet started leaking water all over the floor of the bathroom. We were immediately moved to a new room, but, Chad The "assistant manager for the night" seemed to be annoyed that we complained and wanted to be accommodated for our inconvenience. He has a terrible attitude! When I called to ask his name and position he was very combative, unwilling to listen and unreasonable. The room we were moved to didn't have any towels, less one pillow, the unwrapped tissue roll was on the floor and there was still evidence of the last occupants with the candy that was left under the bed, leading us to believe the room wasn't properly cleaned. When I went to the "broken toilet room" to get the towels, since our new room didn't have any, I was met by Chad, "The assistant manager for the night " He was very aggressive with his speech and honestly a lot petty in his actions, telling me I couldn't take the towels or pillow up to the new room. We are very disappointed in the service we received here this evening.

I keep getting emails from the manager of the one in Denver, Colorado...thanking me for staying there, and, calling me Robert. I never stayed there and certainly my name is not Robert. I get emails from their coporate office also calling me Robert. I let them know a few times about this weirdness...they do not care and won't do anything about it.

I was very disappointed with my stay at LaQuinta in Mansfield- Breckenridge Rd. The pictures on the website are very misleading and the location is not clean. I was very uncomfortable staying there after checking in to my room and the lamp caught on fire and sparked flames. The fire alarm went off. No one came to my room. I went to the front desk to let them know of the situation. The smell from the fire made us really nauseous. I was moved to another room but on the same floor but still felt sick. The manager seem nonchalant about the electrical fire that could have been worse. The fact that the lamp caught on fire was scary enough to me and my family. The manager seem very argumentative when I pointed out things about her hotel. The air condition was very loud and noisy when running. Housekeeping didn't speak any English and one of the staff entered my room without even knocking on the door. I asked her did she knock before entering and she looked puzzled. I complained about the black color around the bath tub. DOGS were everywhere in the hotel. Yuck! When I checked out the computer system was down and I was not able to check out to get my receipt. I definitely will never make reservation EVER again at the LaQuinta!

Incredible rudeness by a woman at the call center ...

Incredible rudeness by a woman at the call center who said her name was Janet. I was providing her information she requested because I needed an answer to my question about my stay at a La Quinta. She demanded more information than was necessary and insisted that I provide her with my phone number. She was argumentative, not helpful and left me on hold for several minutes until her supervisor Eric who was also very rude and non helpful came to the phone. I said I was going to write a letter to the CEO. Those words got me cooperation and an answer almost immediately. Time spent on one question..20 minutes and 16 seconds! I cancelled my reservation and tore up my rewards card!

We recently had a unexpected 4 day stay at your La Quinta Inn at 229 W. loop 121 in Belton Tx.. First of all we want to Thank you for being Pet Friendly. We are empty nesters,and our dog is our life now, and goes every where we go.We were welcomed so graciously at this establishment, and the whole staff was great.

The main reason we are writing you is to tell you our lucky you are to have Dan Gatlin on your staff there. We forgot a favorite toy of our dogs that he cannot live without, and when we called 4 hours down the road, Dan had it. He then mailed it to us at our home in Kentucky, with a thoughtful note.

Thank you Dan and thank you La Quinta for employing such a special person.

I want to start this out with saying I have stayed in 100's of LaQuinta's before and have always enjoyed my stay. However, my experience with dealing with staff and corporate is my main complaint. I reserved a weekend stay for the weekend of January 14th 2017. She asked for my card info, I specifically said "You are not charging me correct?" She said "No, this is to reserve the room and if you don't cancel in time your card will get charged January 13th for the first night" I said "Ok! That's what I thought but I just wanted to make sure because I will probably pay with a different card once we get there" She said "no problem" So then today LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER RESERVING THE ROOM. I check my account and notice I have been billed for the whole weekend. Is it pending? NOPE IT HAS BEEN WITHDRAWN FROM MY ACCOUNT. AFTER I EVEN ASKED HER IF SHE WAS GOING TO CHARGE ME. I call the hotel.. no manager is on duty. The receptionist tells me she is sorry and that she will refund me. I explain to her I cannot wait 7-15 business days to get a refund. It is right after Christmas and almost the 1st and my rent and bills are due. She explains there is nothing she can do. I call my bank, my bank says they have to wait to receive the letter from LQ then deposit the money back in my account. So I call LQ back and ask the receptionist when a manager will be in she says she does not know. You mean to tell me that during a DAY shift you don't have a manger on staff. Then I call the corporate number you cannot get through. It asks you to spell the last name of the person you are wanting to speak with. How in the hell am I supposed to know what your corporate staff's names are. So after doing more research on the website and finding names I redial the number. It says please spell the last name of the person you would like to speak with. I spell it. It tells me invalid entry, spell again. So I spell again and then it says goodbye. So then I call the 1-800 # and it's 10 am on Friday 12/30/16 and your offices are closed. So tell me how in the hell is anyone supposed to get a hold of customer service. I am learning that clearly Corporate does not care about their customers due to the fact that you cannot even get connected to a ringtone or a voicemail or anything. After the new year if I can get a hold of someone I not only want my refund I want all my late fees covered as well as my $25 charge for you over drafting my account WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. I also have reservations for LQ in South Padre and you can bet your ass I am calling them and cancelling

Paid cash, they charge my credit for the room also. What's on second floor the People above me, had a kid that ran around and jumped up and down the floor asked the front desk to have them stop it, took 4 times before the kid stopped. Then the parents stopped around called the front desk again... then they stopped. Dog down the hall barked and whimper enough to keep one awake. Was also bitten by a poisonous spider of some sort that has caused lots of pain. Can't get anyone at corporate office and when i got someone from "rewards" as it was the only number that someone would answer their comment was basically they didn't seem to care. Now I have to fight with them to correct the charge on my Credit card. What fun it was staying at a La Quinta and will never say at one again. This is from a traveler that had driven 16 hours and when I asked how much a room was they said $136 because I didn't make a reservation, but the person that came in after me only paid $86 and they didn't have a reservation. So who got screwed on this... sure wasn't La Quinta so be aware tired traveler if stoping at one of their hotels that you will get screwed....

I wanted to thank Debra Trujillo for her service. The morning after my stay at the Trinidad, Colorado La Quinta I asked for something at the
breakfast bar that I did not see. She was so polite and sweet and said
she would look in the back to see if it was stocked. Later she came back
and told me the item was not available and with great sincerity apologized. Debra has such a great work ethic for someone so young. I
watched her very carefully as she restocked, cleaned, and greeted ALL of
the customers at La Quinta. I am certain she will do well in any career she chooses. What I tell all, especially young people, no matter how hard anything is never give up, too many people have and become resentful of their lives. The impossible is possible.

Made a reservation for my wife then tried to confirm it with a credit card authorization form. They filled out the wrong guest name twice so I cancelled the reservation. They told me they could not cancel it even though they never made it correctly and that I would still be charged. 30 minutes later being put on hold and being treated poorly they finally decided to cancel my reservation and not charge my credit card. Never again!

The girl working the front desk, Jennifer, refused to give me corporate phone number and said giving me the wifi password would go against her manager, Rinesh Patel, orders. Open networks don't have passwords.

I have stayed in several La Quinta hotels and everything has always been good. I am staying in Orlando for the first time in this location and the experience was horrible dirty room really seems that they don't clean dust everywhere, roaches and bedbugs. With a horrid musty smell the air dripped water on carpets that were dirty I also ended up sick with asthma. Take photo of everything and show the employee I do not know if they took action. It is completely depressing and dirty this hotel my experience was so horrible that I never stay at La Quinta !!!!

Not even -one star is to say how bad my experience has been once I checked in. They over charged my debit card. Didn't give me the points in owed. Nothing on my bill adds up at all. This is fraud and theft. Staff completely unhelpful with no real answers and gives you the run around. I've spent HOURS OF MY TIME on the phone trying to redeem my points with no solid answer and HOURS OF MY TIME trying to just get my refund! It's filthy in here the pool is freezing cold and the hot tub hasn't works for 4 days! This PLACE IS AWFUL!!!! Check your account this is HORRIBLE AND WRONG!!!!

Awful is the only word that I can give this Motel, and yes I said Motel. I booked a three suite room, which online is described as 2 bedrooms and a seperate living room. That was certainly not the case at all. This place is dirty, sheets dirty, dresser drawers broken and the room smells really bad, had to spray a whole can of lysol for the room to smell halfway descent. This motel is not worth the money, what you get is a motel room across from the front desk and there are no such suites in this dump. The front desk switch my room after I complained about not getting what I booked to supposely an upgrade, ha ha joke on me. PLEASE NO NOT FALL FOR THE HYPE AND PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP , FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. THIS PLACE DESERVE A BIG FAT ZERO.

The Savannah location off of I 95 is run down, filthy and a very poor example of La Quinta Inn. I believe that this location is a corporate location and should be the standard that other locations should follow? You got to be kidding . As you can see my husband and I have been to numerous La Quinta s and we have never seen such a deplorable condition.
To begin with when I pre registered online I requested a refrigerator for our room, there was none. When we went to the front desk we were told that the hotel only had ten refrigerators and I didn t call ahead to request one. That makes no sense.
Have you ever been in the lobby of the Savannah La Quinta ? It is shabby, dirty and run down. The check out counter is worn with paint peeling. That is the first impression one sees as one checks in, the rooms are even worse. Our room was dirty, smelled of smoke, hairs in the sink and a carpet that needed shampooing. The sink was clogged to the point where the water almost never went down. Cracked tiles and shower hardware barely attached. When was the last time the room was deep cleaned?
Knowing this is a corporate hotel, OMG if this is what you consider corporate standards, I would never think of staying here again and twice before I ever considered staying at another corporate La Quinta. One would think a corporate hotel would have high standards and be the flagship of La Quinta brand. Obviously I was wrong.
Having been a loyal customer of La Quinta I will have to reexamine whether we will staying at La Quinta at all in the future.

Charge more, but have standards. Cheap isn t a value if the place makes your skin crawl.

Laquinta N Myrtle beach kings highway..issue with my 3 very small dogs..I passed a Doberman a pitbull mix in the hall..all exceding weight restrictions..the manager of the hotel informed me one of my dogs had to have its own room!!! So yes I had no choice since we were 2 hrs away and we live in Ohio!
The dogs I have are kept in kennels when were out.(which they are used to)..the damage of one of the dogs I mentioned with one paw could do more than all 12 of my dogs paws..we told them when we booked room 3 pets...no mention of having to get additional room...we booked in March..its June!! They want to charge me over 1300.00 for a 5 night stay...they are crazy..this has completely ruined our vacation..were leaving !! Company is ripping people off for additional charges. We were charged for smoking and the person traveling with me did so outside. Corporate and franchise has refused to provide video evidence of my partner going outside.

We travel often, and always book a non-smoking room as I do not smoke.

The manager also stated she called us, this did not occur as I have pulled my phone records.

While there, we were also forced to put up with nearby guests smoking marijuana, which the staff has acknowledged occurred.

After reading many reviews, the company is clearly gouging the customers.

Nashville Airport La Quinta refused to show me a room today. It was nearly 4 pm and her excuse was that housekeeping was behind and there wasn't any clean rooms that I could look at. I was going to rent a room for 9 weeks. Welp, guess I'll go somewhere else.

First night we arrived for our reserved room in Clearwater (near the small airport), reserved weeks in advance. Manager spent 2 full hours on the phone at the front desk before she would provide us with our room. Second night we waited at the front desk for 15 minutes, as we needed a few cups and towels. We came back to the room to call the hotel to let them know that the front desk was not staffed in case someone was in danger and for safety, as we were concerned. Same front desk manager as the night before answered the phone immediately. I let her know that we were concerned, as the front desk was unmanned. She immediately stated that she has been at the front desk all evening and that I was lying to her. I let her know that we just needed cups and towels and we were just worried. She said "Honey, you don't know me! I've been here all night! You did NOT cone up here!" I simply hung up and sent my husband to the front desk this time, as there was no reason for her to berate a paying guest who legitimately was concerned for their safety. I'm so upset that our trip is ruined after being treated this way 2 days in a row by this LaQuinta manager. Cosmetically there are holes in the walls, we have had to listen to a large barking dog on the other side of our connecting room door day and night, the bathroom is filthy with body hairs in the sink and tub, stains on the sheets and covers, refrigerator was on high but does not work, the one available outlet in our room does not work so we had to unplug lamps, trim and floors are in very rough condition. I would be shocked if LaQuinta can keep this hotel afloat for much longer. We travel often and this was by far the worst experience we've had. We will never stay at a LaQuinta or sister property again.

My wife checked into the San Antonio location on 6/5 in room 202. The man at the Front desk, I think his name was Jeremiah? probably got this wrong. He told my wife our card would not be charged since the room was booked in our daughters name. Our daughter checked in on 6/6. She and her fiance' were staying through Thursday 6/11. Both of the cards were charged for the entire stay. A hold was placed on both cards for $544. They were unable to correct this problem before my wife left to return home on Monday. Our card was not refunded until 6/12. This mistake took up a chunk of the spending money that was to be used while vacationing there. My family was extremely upset over this. The GM Natalie Quiroz was not returning until Monday and was told we had to wait until she returned. She called me about 2:30 and told me she would see what she could do to fix the problem and needed my wife to come down or call her. My wife went down there once I reached her and she waited in the lobby for over 15 minutes only to find out Natalie left for a Dr's appointment, leaving the assistant to try and fix this matter. This is just one of the MANY problems they experienced while at this hotel.
The sheets were never replaced, the air conditioning was not functioning properly, the blow dryer didn't work, roaches were seen in the room, and towels were not repleneshed toward their need.
This is by far the worst stay in a hotel my wife and family have ever experienced. They were down there to prepare for my daughters wedding next May. Needless to say, Laquinta Inn San Antonio will not get any of the business we bring as we find rooms for the 100+ people attending the ceremony. We just stayed in another Laquinta in Mabank, Tx barely 2 months ago. That stay was excellent and would use that one again. The customer service in San Antonio is poor, while I understand that things happen that cannot be helped. I would have expected the management there to step up and resolve these problems and that didn't happen without us staying on top of them.
A complaint is being prepared and will be sent to the better business bureau and the visitors bureau of San Antonio.
Update on review: once management finally called me back they apologized for the clerical error and said our card would be refunded. A few days later the money was returned. They also refunded the money back to our daughter because of the problems that occured during the trip. While they were all frustrated by the occurrences, Laquinta did the right thing and even went a step further in my opinion to restore faith in the brand. I believe they would stay there again, a bit wiser this time in hopes of a better experience. Only time will tell if they corrected the issues mentioned here but I do thank Laquinta for the service they offered to restore good faith.

Stayed at the La Quinta in rockwall texas, The GM marisela is amazing and the staff there are wonderful. Had to stay for a night cause my car broke down and they had no problem getting me a room ASAP. Great price for a great room.

Well I am not sure the actual quality of the hotel in Bellingham wa. The no calls from anyone after asking for them and being promised with them speak volumes.

I made a reservation about a month before my stay. I was to check in on Friday night. It was going to be a late check in (11:00pm ish). I called Thursday during the day talked to the front desk staff made sure they understood I was bringing a dog with me. They verified my reservation and put down the information that I had a dog. I was told though it was not a problem that they were 100% dog friendly.

Well then Friday came. The hotel called me around 10am and wanted to verify that I was still coming this evening. I repeated all the information I gave them the day before. The lady I talked with did not appear to have the information that I had stated less then 24 hours before.

Well I arrived at the hotel around 11:15PM on Friday ready to get to sleep for a meeting that I had at 7:00AM the next morning. Well when I told the lady at the front desk that I had a reservation. She said "oh we oversold your reservation we actually don't have a room for you".

Why would they make a reservation and oversell it?
Why would they call to verify my reservation if they had no plans of keeping my reservation?
When it oversold why couldn't they just call me and let me know?

Well none of these questions end up answered. I was promised a call from the General MAnager Tina. Well that never happened either. Seams like customer service is the last priority at the hotel.

If you plan to make a reservation be careful they may or may not keep the reservation with no respect to you.

We enjoyed our stay at Jacksonville LQ. All the dogs were kept on THE FIRST TWO FLOORS. Then came Ft. Lauderdale. I called at 9:03 am Saturday June 30, 2018, and specifically asked for our room, reserved months ago, to be as high up as possible and away from barking dogs since we are both light sleepers. I made that specific request when we booked, months ago. The young woman kept insisting we put dogs everywhere in the hotel and can t guarantee one won t end up next to you. I just asked, very nicely, as much as possible we want to be away from barking dogs. We are just leaving Jacksonville and dogs are kept away from the upper floors. She kept insisting we can put dogs on either side of you. Seriously? Dogs are given priority over Military Elite guests? The site says there are 131 rooms. I told my husband, she s going to deliberately surround us with dogs ! We arrived at 2:20pm and we re told our room wasn t ready. Told to return at 3:30. We returned and sure enough, we were put in 608 and an enormous loud barking dog was in 615, a smaller constantly barking dog in 623. All we could hear was barking dogs in our room OVER THE A/C. We had to call the desk TWICE and beg them to do something about the dogs....who never quit barking. They finally moved us to a much lesser room than we paid for but now we only have to listen to rap music from outside our door. What has happened to La Quinta? It s certainly gone to THE DOGS. We re THROUGH with La Quinta. When dogs are more valued than Military Elite members we re done. Moving to Sheraton. I ll be posting this on every social media platform I can find.

My dad and I stayed at the La Quinta in lake jackson texas. The first day we went seemed great. They got us in a little earlier and the lady Mrs Jobi at the counter had great customer service. We are here on business for 10 days. Well we get to our room and it is dirty, floors were not vacuumed and their were a pair of dirty socks in one of the drawers. We were like whatever throw the socks away and let's get some rest since we drove over night to get here. Wake up a couple hours later to start getting ready for our day to begin. We killed 2 decent sized roaches and just thought well it happens. When we came back later that night and turned the lights on a lot of roaches scattered. Okay gross. We are exhausted and try to push it feon our minds and we end up passing out close to midnight. The next morning we wake up at 545 to start getting ready for our day, as soon as we turn on the lights there ate like 15 cockroaches on the walls the ceiling the night stand and on our microwave and fridge. That's when your skin really starts to crawl. I started looking around and under the phone and Internet box as you lift them a bunch of baby roaches scatter. We said nope can't do this. So we go down for breakfast and talk to the guy at the counter. He seems disturbed and disgusted by what we have been through which is great he apologizes and tells us he will get our room comped for the night and have us moved into another one but could not do it at the moment because they were fully booked. He asked us if we could come back in a few hours. We asked him if he could just hold it for us since we were driving an hour into houston and working about 12 hour shifts. Later that night I came back a little to early to get us moved over to another room. The lady at the counter apologizes for the miscommunication and says the room was comped for the night but they were not moving us because they booked all the rooms. By this point I'm frustrated and she informs me that we are not the only ones dealing with a roach infestation problem in our room. So they obviously knew and we're still booking people and charging them over 600 for their stay. Well about 330 in the morning we can't stand it anymore, they are all over our things in the beds and on pillows and all over our closed boxes of food. I took so many pictures and videos because it was absolutely unacceptable. We pack our things and without even knowing if we can get another room turned in our keys and said were done we can't do it anymore. Couldn't get no rest or comfort constantly feeling itchy. We take off in search for anywhere to stay. As we are driving in to Houston to find a closer one the same clerk for the morning before who told us that he would get us a new room calls and informs us that they are going to still have to charge us for this night, yeah the one that we only made it till 3am on. We told him no your not and we don't want to talk to you we want a phone call from your general manager and hung up. Now we are just waiting to here back. I am literally sitting in another parking lot of a hotel in houston waiting till they get in cause they told us they would give us a room the the week at half the cost of what La Quinta was charging us. So really mad and upset and have not had any sleep in over 24 hours. This place is a nightmare and I will never ever ever ever again stay at a LA Quinta anywhere I am so done with this experience. I wish I could post my pictures and videos for ya'll to see how skin crawling this room was.

I had my luggage stolen from my room at the LaQuinta on Paradise Rd. in LV Nevada - IF ANY of you ever think about staying there I recommend you DO NOT !!! I ask the manager about it they could do nothing because there was no cameras in that area - I guess the GUESTS would know that !! No forced entry - I Guess all the other GUESTS had a key to my room - I filed a police report with the LVPD and have an case and investigation in process - I called corporate about it and they said they would get back to me and never have - I have not stayed at a LaQunita since and I have stayed at them for Years ! I will never stay at another until or unless some resolve is sought to satisfy my losses !

We stayed at the la Quinta in Ripon California and will never stay there again. The staff working the front desk are totally incompetent. I went there in person in June to make reservations for August. My mom went back there a week b4 we were to arrive to make sure everything was in order. She discovered they only had us reserved for 1 night when it should have been 4 nights. When we arrived to check in they only had us reserved for 3 nights!
We had adjoining rooms that were supposed to have 2 beds in each room. We only had 3 beds so I had to get an additional room because they didn't have a roll away bed.
We had about 3 more instances with them checking us out of our rooms b4 our stay was over but all I can say is i am fighting for a refund and I'll never recommend them or stay there again.

Recently stayed at LaQuinta in South Burlington, Vermont. Between my luggage not arriving with my flight and dealing with a concussion my brain was a bit addled - after using my bank card I apparently did not put it away and it fell under the bed. The maid found it and turned it into the manager who called me (I was not even aware yet that I had lost the card) and then had it FedEx'd to me immediately. Honesty and integrity are so important, and these 2 ladies deserve acknowledgement for their kindness and going the extra mile for me.
