We made reservations for 9:30pm, and enjoyed the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, the service . Until waiters started asking us "are you still working on this? " which is SUCH an annoying question, and SO inappropriate for such a high end venue! We come to a place like this to enjoy, not to be rushed!! If staff wants to go home by 11pm - don't except late reservations!
If you DO except late reservations -let your guests enjoy what they pay for!
Before we were done- waiters started collecting table cloths from neighboring tables, set for next shift, and clearly exoressing how much they all wanted us to leave already. .!
This behavior is Sadly very typical for San Francisco, but we did not expect it in a place that charges average of $250.00 per person! It kinda destroyed the experience for us.
