I normally dislike dealing with car dealers a lot, but working with Aras was a pleasure. He was upfront and honest throughout the process without the usual nonsense. I came in to drive one car, but didn't like the color, but he as able to find me another immediately and I was out the door in 2.5 hours. Well done.

I took my VW under warranty for Check up of infotainment system and thy charge me $160 for Diagnosis. The car was under warranty there should not be charge for diagnosis all they did was some new software load. This highway theft. Be vary not going there again. bad service

Visited Sheehy VW on 10/9 after work - I was nervous going in because it was my first new car purchase, and had heard from people that the process was long and boring, which is something I was not looking forward too. When I arrived at the dealer, they called for a salesperson and Paul Wicker immediately approached me. I told him what I was looking for and didn't take long for me to test drive the car I had in mind. He was very informative and made sure all my questions were answered. He went through all the options I had when it came to purchasing or leasing the vehicle. I have to say that this was a very pleasant and most all, an EASY experience! My wife and I were very pleased with our recent purchase from Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield. I inquired by email about a vehicle and received a prompt response from Curtis Shannon Jr. a sales rep. We arrived the next morning and asked for Curtis specifically. He was available and ready to to help. The vehicle we wanted to see had been sold earlier that morning. Kind of a bummer, but undeterred we continued to look at a few more vehicles. Mind you we were in search of a used Ford F-150. Curtis took us right out and began showing us the rest of their used truck inventory. We saw one we liked and decided to test drive. Curtis told us to take our time make sure we ran the truck through it's paces and even grab lunch.

We traded two vehicles in, as we we had too many cars and it was time to thin the heard. Trade in value on them was reasonable and we continued with the process. Curtis worked with us on the price and we did the let's buy a car dance as you would expect with any dealership. Numbers are thrown out and the back and forth commences. It's part of the game.

However what we didn't expect was the professional attitude and overall pleasantness of Curtis's demeanor. No request was too unreasonable. He never once skoffed or gave us the impression that we were waisting his or the dealerships time.

The dance was short and we agreed on a price. We payed cash so no issues with dealing with the financing office as we all know this would have probably caused a little more heartache!

We signed the contract and the rest of the paperwork was a breeze. The whole process took about four hours, mostly because it was Veteran's day and the dealership was very busy! No worries for us and we expected this.

After our purchase I noticed a few small things I had questions with and Curtis was on them getting it squared away as fast as he could. I can't tell you how easy Curtis made our entire experience. He has stayed in contact since our purchase making sure everything was going smoothly and keeping us updated to date on the tags and other matters.

I can't thank Curtis Shannon Jr. enough for his professionalism and work ethic. If you want to buy a car at Sheehy Volkswagen ask for him by name!

This review is for service. I had no issue with purchases I ve made ( 3 cars for the last 3 years) . Came for Sheehy advantage service , $89 as advertised, there s fine print of $30 more if use synthetic ( which all VW use synthetic oil anyway ) that s around $135 after tax. The service says tire rotation is part of it, found out they didn t rotate my tires. I wonder if they really put that BG additive as they advertised it. Jonah is my service advisor , he s good, but.....those guys who actually do the work in the shop are questionable. It ain t my first issue with service department. I m not a happy customer.

We just got Acura RDX a few days ago from this place, Min was our sales representative and we received very good customer service. We come after work, sometimes after 8 pm, and the dealership is almost closed. He patiently waited for us and still gave us full customer service, even though our daughter continued to bother him and asked so many questions. However, we got a very good car, even though we purchased slightly more than what we planned to, but we decided to get VIPs and full coverages for our car, just wanted to have peace of mind, to know that what we paid would be worth with the effort that we will put in the car, especially with full coverage that will always take care of our car.

Service is good. They also offer good discounts. But what happened to me was that i went from VA Beach to Springfield to get the new car. I financed it, but when i reached to VA Beach, i came to know that driver side rear glass window is not working in the new car. I called them , they told me to come there but i can't go again 200 miles. They should offer me a reward gift card for the hassles i went to fix the glass window on the new car. I have to give a car to local dealer to fix it for 2 days and i have to book rental car for those 2 days to go to the job. At least , reward the customers if you can't fix the mistake.

I purchased a 2007 Nissan murano as a gift for my dad. Ray was my sales representative and he was great make sure you ask for him! Even though there was a lot that had to be done with my car that I bought Ray hung in there with me thru the entire process he even came in on his day off when my vehicle was finally ready for pick-up. My only issue was the service dept was not forth coming with info and did not do everything Ray asked on time which was no fault of Ray's but Ray did his best to keep me updated. Due to my troubles with the service dept Chris made all well with me and promised to get a spare key for my vehicle since my car didn't come with one. I would recommend them to anyone great customer service.

Only a month has gone by and already regret purchasing a used car from them. I should have gone with my gut feeling and walked away when the check engine light came on during the test drive. But the sales person reassured me that service merely forgot to reset the sensor. Since then, the check engine light has turned on twice. The first time it was the ignition coil which was, thank god, under warranty. The check engine light is on again now and made an appointment once more for service. On top of this I called last week stating that I haven t received the tags from MVA and they said to call back next week since the temporary tags don t expire until then. I called back Thursday. They told me they would overnight updated temporary tags on Saturday. Didn t show. Tags expire Sunday.... called them to complain and was put to voicemail. Haven t called back.

I went to see a car they have listed for sale for $14,000. I asked what the best price they could do was if I did MY OWN TAXES and TAGs.. The BEST they could do was $ 15,929.03... Essentially charging a 1,929.03 fee to "process" the deal. What a waste of time.

I walked in and had my pick of a large variety of certified pre-owned cars and SUVs. My wife and I were helped out by a very nice salesman who didn't put any awkward pressure on us. I highly recommend you talk to Riadn Mejri if you are looking for a new or cpo vw! He was excellent to work with.

They send out scam scratch-off mailers ("you could win one of these four great prizes, including a car or else up to $300 in lottery tickets!"), then demand your driver's license (not because they need to identify you but just to gather your information), ask you tons of personal questions about what kind of car you have and whether it's paid off, etc., then award the bare minimum (in our case, one single lottery ticket). Incredibly, incredibly shady and we will absolutely not be buying from them when we purchase our next car if that's the kind of business they are operating.

My boyfriend bought a car today there and the staff is really nice and friendly. Great negotiations with price and APR. Took almost 4 hours to get the whole thing done...

I became interested in a VW Tiguan and intended to purchase from my local well respected VW dealer.

Unfortunately, the particular trim I sought was unavailable. The deal offered to me would be less favorable as the unit would have to be obtained from another VW dealership.

So I decided to see if I could find the trim I wanted by searching inventories at other VW dealerships.

By luck I checked Sheehy VW IN Fairfield VA and was stunned by the most generous dealer discount available literally anywhere.

I contacted Trisha who is responsible for Sheehy s Internet sales. After a brief very professional chat with Trisha I was introduced to John, GM of Sheehy.

John,as Trisha, offered black and white info regarding the sale.

I received a deal workup from Tricia and all was in order and exactly as presented in the previous conversations.

I accepted the offer and Kelly, finance manager, made the paperwork and documentation easy.

Next day I received a call that the vehicle I thought I purchased had already been purchased by another the same day - but earlier.

Knew all of this was too good to be true and was saying good-bye. But I was told it wasn t over.

Sheehy found an equivalent unit at another VW dealer at the same price. Mere changes in the paperwork for the VIN, color and interior and the purchase was done.

Sheehy could have increased the price as the vehicle came from another dealer but did not. Sheehy simply ensured it did what was necessary to sell me a vehicle.

I live in the greater New Orleans area and have recommended to my friends neighbors coworkers and acquaintances that any of the Sheehy dealerships may provide a deal better than can be found locally, as well as the Houston, Dallas and other markets.

Unlike most practices by owners of dealerships - instead of pocketing incentives/bonuses awarded for meeting quotas or other metrics, Sheehy pushes the dollars into generous discounts to we the consumers.

I purchased a 2013 Jetta Wagon this past April. Aras Barlas was my salesperson and did a fantastic job. No pressure. He patiently answered my (many, many) questions. I'm from out of town and had communicated with him in the days prior to my travelling to Northern Virginia. He was responsive and went out of his way to send extra photos and information when asked. Unfortunately, my local VW dealership is not used to dealing with certified pre-owned VW's and has been less than helpful when dealing with a couple of warranty items which needed to be addressed. I ended up calling Sheehy and speaking to Aras. He was able to mail me the part I needed and assured me VW Sheehy would take care of any expense incurred related to installation of the part. I was not charged for the part whereas my local dealership was trying to charge me almost $200 for a missing part because since the part wasn't on the vehicle they couldn't determine the mechanism of damage. How about there was not damage and it just wasn't there in the first place??? Sheehy didn't even question WHY the part was missing. They simply took action to solve the problem. I have sent multiple friends to them since my purchase and I will travel the distance to buy from them again in the future.

After I was the victim of a four car pileup on the Beltway just after Labor Day, I needed to get another car. Robert was sympathetic to my needs to get another stick shift Volkswagen in a timely manner. He was able to locate a Golf GTI 4-door in silver for me and get it to me in half a week. I also managed to test drive a 1.8 TSI manual wagon and a 2.0 TDI DSG wagon, but I went with the GTI. If price was not an object, I would have gone with the Golf R manual.

I also wish to offer thanks to Robert for accommodating my work schedule. Having to commute between Alexandria and Silver Spring takes a bit of time each weekday, and he was willing to meet me after dinner to discuss what was available.

I did notice a blemish on the paint by the driver side tail light a few days after purchase. Robert and crew managed to fit me into a Saturday morning appointment to get it wet sanded and looking like new.

My wife and i recently purchased a 2014 Jetta TDI from Sheehy VW in Springfield. Our salesperson David Perez was great not pushy at all. The GM Russ Zakeri got involved with our financing search and got us s great rate and the perfect car for us. The whole experience so excellent that my youngest son purchased another Jetta from David just yesterday. I can't say enough good things about this dealership and the staff. I would definitely by from them again.

I had a great experience purchasing my first car in America. Sheehy is one of the best dealer I ever met. When I was looking for a car, I was even invited to have my lunch there. The sales are so much friendly and patient. They talk as if I am their friend. So far, I still keep good relationship with the sales. And they provide thoughtful services that when you get and trouble related with the car, they can take care of that. If you are a car lover and you don't want fix car yourself. Minho took the time to find me the specific car I was looking for and had terrific, timely follow up. He delivered on my needs and gave me what I felt was a very solid deal. The paperwork process was easy and quick and they got me in and out with no problems. It would be hard for me to imagine any aspect of this going better. The sales man was very rude and started judging me unless I purchase right away and please him. I can't believe that such poor customer service is offered by VW Sheehy Springfield VA.

I was having a very tough day and in the lowest of spirits before i walked into Sheehy VW of Springfield, thinking theis car i had seen on the net may not have been what it was in actual visualization. I was met by Sales Consultant Lucia Giordano. I always dread the long and tiring process of car shopping. But, this absolutely pleasant person made my search for a car as painless as possible. I dont think i even searched, it was like picking up a package that had been left for you.
In less than 2 hours i was driving away with what I wanted. I really do appreciate the way i was treated by the whole team. For a moment i forgot i was at a dealer and just absolutely was as comfortable as i could possibly be.
On my way home my friend's jaw basically dropped when i took him for a spin. Thats how i feel about my new purchase. Today, i wanted to drive to unnnecessary places and be stuck in traffic just because i was feeling like a child with a new toy.
I like my car and am so greatful for each and every one's hospitality. Be sure to see me in the near future. Great service like this will never go to waste.

Manager was rude and sales representative I talked to was very uneducated and lied to me the whole time. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, please dont waste your time.

Sketchy, high pressure. Bought a used vehicle, they tried to low ball me on the trade value but got them to raise it. Aggressive salesman, only talks payment, which I don't care about, we need to focus on the actuals. He wasted a lot of time not talking to me, never engaged with anything other than how he can make a buck. Foreigner, so there you go, no idea how to relate to us. Apparently my trade isn't selling lol. POS, they bought it and F you, cause you sold me a vehicle that you didn't detail or include floor mats or a spare tire. Sales manager is a joke, all your automatic emails are worthless. I still get a real email from a salesman from 1995 in South Dakota.

Terrible customer service. No respect toward their customers and really rude to non English speaking people.
