This weekend we worked with Muhammad from Sheehy Volkswagen.

We test drove some cars the other week with him and then took some time to decide what we wanted to do.... This weekend we talked to this employee, Trisha, over the phone and she told us that they were willing to make a great a deal that we were very interested in. If it weren't for her reaching out we may not have come back in, so thanks, Trisha!

A half hour later we came in and met with Muhammad again and he got the paperwork together quickly. Around 45 minutes later we were leaving with my brand new Tiguan!!!

The process was easy because of Muhammad! So thank you, Muhammad, for making the process painless! I couldn't be happier with my new car! It's amazing!!

This is the most dishonest and impolite VW dealers...

This is the most dishonest and impolite VW dealership I've ever been to. I went to the service department to get my car fixed and the consultant was rude. They also charged much higher price for the same work compared to other car shops, e.g. wheel alignment. And when my car was fixed, they didn't even call me. I had to call them right before they closed and they unwelcomingly told me my car was ready. Right after I gave them a bad review because I felt the charge was too high, they called me saying that next maintenance appointment would be free. Jokes on them, I will never come back, neither do I recommend this dealer to anyone.

I brought my 2006 beetle to the service department...

I brought my 2006 beetle to the service department after it randomly wouldn't start one day. There were a couple issues with it that they found from the diagnostic and I agreed to have those fixed. The process of fixing my car took almost a month, which I was understanding of because things don't always go the right way and the problem turned out to be more indepth and difficult than they originally thought which isn't their fault. However, the reason I'm giving such a low rating is due to how my car was returned to me and the treatment I received when I discussed those issues with the manager of the service department. When I picked my car up after the repairs, the door handle on my drivers side door was completely broken off, there was trash left in my car from the parts they had ordered, and there was a new warning light on the instrument panel that has never been an issue before and the instrument panel was a part they had just replaced. When I brought these to the managers attention he suggested that my door handle was probably old and already loose when I brought it in and they couldn't be responsible for normal wear and tear. When I dropped my car off my door handle was no where near falling off or even at risk of coming off at any point in the near future. The manager then suggested that I could bring my door handle in for him to glue back together and glue back on my door even though his team were the ones that broke it. He apologized about the trash. Then we discussed the warning light which he thought may have been an issue from the beginning that they hadn't discovered since my car wasn't running or turning on when I brought it in. However they were able to plug my car into the computer to run a diagnostic which was how they determined the original issues that needed fixed and there was no mention of an issue with the part that was now firing this new warning light. The manager agreed to fix the broken door handle, but it's been about 2 weeks since then, if not more, and I haven't heard anything from them about ordering the part or bringing my car in to fix the door handle. I felt I was very understanding during the whole repair process because like I said not their fault it didn't go the way they planned, but I can't excuse the way i was treated after picking my car up and attempting to discuss my issues with the management. Not writing this review to get attention or anything, I just hope it can lead to some changes/improvements.

Jonathan Routt, shouldn't have to say more than that but I will. He was one of the easiest, no pressure salesman I've ever dealt with. I even left to go test drive other cars and still ended up back at Sheehy VW. I already had figures and loan approval so the finance office was a record time for myself. Best experience in the car buying realm by far! Thanks again

David was my sales rep and he was alright. Marina was my finance person and she was terrible. Wasted much of my time and messed up. Couldn't issue my plates. Told me they'd send a check for the registration since I had to go the dmv even though they charged me to do it. I've called for months and never got a refund.

We love Sheehy, and Paul Wicker just made our experience so fantastic that we drove (and will continue to drive) from NYC to Sheehy in Springfield, VA for our second car (our first was a GTI also with Paul). Professional, friendly and knowledgeable (and I research my vehicles thoroughly and am a car enthusiast), Paul makes the experience of car shopping an absolute treat. Most importantly, we leave knowing we got a good deal and from a friendly face.

If you want to meet probably the best general manager of a car dealership in the DC region go to SHEEHY VW in Springfield. I enjoyed meeting Russ who comes across as a very-caring and honest individual. I have always dreaded going to dealerships as they usually tend to have a reputation of being pushy and self-centered. But Riss and his team really know how to make you feel like a valued customer..leaving the dealership with a great deal. Of course, car buyers don't meet general mangers everyday but in my case he intervened when the purchasing process experienced a hiccup. He exercised an effective leadership and turned it around. You want to go to a dealership whose leadership is competent and flexible. I now know where to go to buy my next new car.

I bought the 2019 Jetta GLi from this Sheehy VW in Springfield. The salesperson there, Mr. De Maryo provided excellent service and support right from the beginning until I got the keys to my new GLi. Considering my budget, he worked hard to give me a very attractive and irresistible deal. He helped me expedite all the paperwork and ensured a smooth process. This is a mixed review. I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation that I scheduled the appointment for. I also had a TSB taken care of for a software update for the radio. The service for myself was good, however this took 4.5hrs of me in the waiting room which is a bit... extensive. Would've been nice if they would've kept me updated that this was gonna take so long.

The real 1 star review comes to when I was checking out in service and a customer was trying to straighten out a miscommunication and one of the service individuals actually got into a legitimate argument over it. The service person was actually yelling at the customer about wasting the dealerships time on his vehicle and how the guy needed to pay up (the customer was not debating this portion). The whole thing was definitely ridiculous and I as a customer would not stand for that kind of treatment.

What's the point of even being able to pick a serv...

What's the point of even being able to pick a service time on your website if I have to wait for just and oil change for 2 hours? I get that you have other customers too, but imo it is just ridiculous, especially because I was told it'll be an hour.
Then the advisor say that he'll give me a discount, which he did, but it is kind of funny that Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield's price is even after a discount higher than Fairfax Volkswagen's. Total parts price is higher by $6.80, which is not too bad, but the difference comes in labor price. While Fairfax charges you $15, Springfield will charge you $30. So even after the discount, I paid more than I did without discount in Fairfax.

If you plan on waiting for you car there, then you have to at least have 2h minimum and bring a laptop or a book (maybe even 2, you might be there for a second).

VW really needs to get better dealerships, since I have had good experiences with other car makers dealerships, but it just seems like every VW dealership sucks. Oh well... at least I know now

Excellent experience today at Sheehy VW in Springfield. I was met by Jorge who was very helpful throughout the entire process and patiently explained different portions of the purchase contract. He went the extra mile to get me a better price and did everything he could to make the transaction effortless.

Kelly in finance also went above and beyond to beat a competitive rate I was given. She was very informative and straight to the point on the numbers we ran. Couldn t ask for a better overall experience, will come back in the future.

When I first got my car from here the customer service and service department was top notch. Over the years I have seen it decline. Took my car in because the AC was not working properly, they changed some piece. A few days later the same thing happened. Made another appointment to get it looked at again. They were suppose to have a loaner car available for me they did not, shuttle took me to Enterprise who then proceeded to tell me that I would have to pay for the rental because they do not have a contract with Sheeny VW. I was suppose to get updates on the progress of my car. That has not happened each time I have had to call. This is beyond ridicules and is costing people time and money since work schedules need to be rearranged. Hopefully it will be fixed this time and charged as well as everything else. I would not recommend this service department.

I don't normally write reviews but my experience at Sheehy VW was exceptional. Bahahdor was great to work with. His communication was prompt, accurate, and consistently helpful. We came from a distance to purchase the car and communication was crucial. The dealership was clean and efficient. Everyone from Bahador to the finance manager and store manager was nice to work with. I highly recommend Sheehy VW and Bahador Samiei if you're looking to buy a VW!

My beloved VW had sustained damage from a deer-hit, was not drivable, and I needed to replace it immediately (over the Thanksgiving holiday). When I walked into Sheehy, I was fortunate to be paired with Ray Williams, who sold me a beautiful new 2017 GTI and made the process easy and enjoyable. Ray was professional and personable, and I will return to him and Sheehy as well as recommend their sales and finance team. I also had a fabulous service experience at Sheehy with my 2013 Beetle (tire replacement) in the Fall -- and was already charmed a bit by their first-rate service department.

At first everything was looking good my sales person was DE MARYO ( for nissan maxima 2011 silver 86k careful guys that car have bad carfax report) so i looked at the car and i noticed the damaged i told DI MARYO about it and he told me our policy i can't show you carfax report thats the financial manager whos in charge so ill let it go for now i took the car for test drive with the sales person and he did not stop talking to whole test drive anytime i mention ..what happen to the this Maxima do you have any idea ? No answer ? After the test drive hes like do like the car ? Yes i do ..kz i want it to get to those paperwork so i can see the carfax report and the news was ....accident reported

Sheehy VW Springfield is awesome. They are transparent and don't play games with their customers. I had an excellent experience in buying my 2018 Atlas yesterday. Paul is an outstanding sales person as well his manager Cash. They are polite, understanding, helpful and determined to earn my business in an honest way. They made the deal happen and I out the door in less than 3 hours. I have been to Ourisman VW in Rockville and their manager Bill is a fraud so is Mark in Lindsay VW. They play games with their customer by charging them twice the same fees and play with numbers, but Sheehy is not like that - they keep their word and didn't change a single bit when i went to purchase it at the dealer.

The experience here was first rate. Upon pulling up, we were greeted by Riadh, he asked about out needs, didn't try to force us to look at any inventory, didn't force us to do an application. The car we wanted was getting detailed and knowing others were waiting for it, he made sure we got to test drive it as soon as it was finished. When there was an issue with warning light, he made sure it got a thorough inspection and service check, give us a loan for the time it was being serviced. Riadh worked with financing and got an additional $350 knocked off the sticker price. Will look into them again when looking for my wife's a car.

This was probably my least favorite dealership I v...

This was probably my least favorite dealership I visited in my search for a reliable and sturdy vehicle. I believe I worked with mohammed, nice dude and a bit unorganized. However, that was the least of my issues with this dealership. As soon as I walked in, I was completely ignored. Workers walked past me, didn't ask any questions, and I of course did not know where to go due to front desk being kind of hidden. A couple however walked in and was immediately greeted and taken to find their sales man. I made an appointment with Mohammed and was left wondering where he was for about 10 minutes. He had two deals going on and was not really paying attention to me much. I finally get to his office and after we have been emailing back and forth on a black jetta, I was hit with news that that jetta had been sold and I was not informed until then. (I traveled 3 hours to come see this vehicle by the way). I was highly disappointed and upset that I was not alerted of this before and would not have wasted my time. However, my car barely made it up there so I was left with little to no option on getting a vehicle. We settled on a white jetta and was a bit presented Easy Care. Easy care was explained to me in a way that made me think I would have 3 years of my car being taken cared of exterior wise. it cost about $850 dollars and seemed like a good deal. It was not. I recently was told my wheels were bent and I would need to get new wheels and possibly tires. I call easy care and to my surprise they only insist in matters that are a safety hazard, like if my tire were to loose air. I couldn't believe that I even invested in this service because to fix my 2017 Jetta now, it would cost just below the $850. There were some bonuses, I was able to get a car with no money down, and a jumpstart kit + mats. Other than that, I would have bought from elsewhere.

Rude rude rude on the phone. Don't call if it is regarding recall service. They will not try to find your vehicle on the system while transferring you everywhere in the department. They might be happy to assist you if you are interested in buying a car there.

Tried making a deal with Ridah, couldn't get it to work. Got a call from a different salesman 2 days later asking me how the process went. I said it was so and so, and I thought Ridah was kind of arrogant. 10 Minutes later got a call from Ridah asking me why I felt that way and that he told me price was firm to start. At first I thought he was calling to apologize but rather basically wanted me, the customer to do so. Thought that was strange and unprofessional and took my business elsewhere. I am sure this is a great dealership but I did not have a good experience.

Starting from the salesman RON all the way down to the service rep Gabriel . I will never purchase a vehicle from Sheehy ever again. I purchased a used car from this dealership in October of 2011. The reason for buying from this dealership was based on price alone. The salesmen Jamal was very nice and ensured he would meet my every need. Safi in Financing promised the same and seemed real shady when trying to sell me extended vehicle coverage. It took 3-1/2 months to finally receive my registration and tags. We were forced to drive on temporary tags over and over again and had to keep calling to check up on the status of our registration. There was no effort done by VW Springfield to keep us updated in the progress. If we weren't so proactive, we would still be without plates. Every time I called and asked for a manager, Jamal or Safi would tell me that they were in a meeting. When I finally got through to the manager, Si, he admitted he wasn't in a meeting nor was he ever in a meeting. Finally, Si put me in touch with Maryln who could finally help me, even though it still took 2 months from there to get the tags.

This was a huge nightmare and I beg you all to refrain from potentially experiencing this yourself. Even though I feel like I got a good deal on my VW, I would rather spend a couple grand more elsewhere and get the customer service I deserve.

I m extremely unhappy, with Sheehy VW of Springfield and their sales manager (Hussain) because they re not only unreliable but also fraud. I spoke to Hussain on 3/6/2014 in regards to Acura MDX 2011, which was listed for $25,500, and after haggling with price we agreed upon $25,000. I decided to move forward with the deal and do the paper work next morning 3/7 since it was pass the normal business hours on 3/6. On 3/7/2014 I tried to contact the dealership all day after calling 14 times and speaking to 4 different people and each time there was a different excuse as to what was going on with the car / and how now the car was in Richmond, and not Springfield. I finally received a call at 4:33PM from Hussain stating The car we spoke about last night is no longer for $25000 and now its $27000 . Since he already knew that I wanted to purchase the vehicle they/he jacked up the price thinking I will fall into his fraud. EVEN THOUGH YOU WOULD WANT TO TRUST THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE A BIG DEALSHIP THAT DOES NOT MEAN THEY CANNOT CHEAT YOU. DO NOT TRUST!! TRY A DIFFERENT DEALERSHIP IF I WAS YOU!

I would like to recommend Jonathan Routt. He is the most professional sales rep I have dealt with. He sold my daughter a car she LOVES. I came in to the dealership to get more information to help me decide what vehicle I wanted to purchase as I will need a new car in the very near future. Jonathan went above and beyond to explain with great detail some of the choices I have. He was not only knowledgeable but extremely interested in making sure I got all the information I needed. He is very friendly and I will be back for sure!

I had a great experience working with the staff at Sheehy! The truck I was interested in wasn t available but thanks to Scott, I was able to find a truck that fit my needs and runs great! I highly recommend talking to Scott for any vehicle purchases and information. I was in and out pretty quickly, with great service and friendly customer support!

I can say I didn't expect much... I didn't have much choice, as the 6-speed Beetle TDI convertibles are still pretty rare. I bought my very first new car at Springfield VW in 1997, and didn't have a great experience. However, Sheehy has taken over Springfield VW, and the change is definitely for the better. I still think the traditional car dealer experience needs to change. Tesla has the right idea. And the internet has done a lot to fix the traditional model, consumers are more informed, dealers can't get away with what they used to. In that light, this was a very pleasant dealer experience.

So this past weekend (2/14/2020 and 2/15/2020) we bought two cars from Sheehy Volkswagen of Springfield, One was for us and one was for our friend. They went above and beyond to help us trade in cars that we hated, both of which were severely upside down with negative equity. They work tirelessly to get us the best deals as possible. We could not have been more happy with our experience at Sheehy. HUGE thank you to Jonathan Hoang (sales) and Kelly Ghabour (finance) for being so awesome over the weekend! Phi and Sheehy honored the 30 day warranty and fixed an issue that occurred in regards to the secondary timing chain and tensioners. Very high integrity with Sheehy, I would highly recommend this dealership.

Circa early-June 2019, my attention went solely to...

Circa early-June 2019, my attention went solely towards choosing and researching my next car while waiting for the insurance company to decide my car was totaled after a tree fell on it while peacefully parked in my driveway (don't you just love all these storms we've had lately?). I chose the VW GTI. Two weeks into waiting for the determination and getting rather impatient, I decided to drag my husband to nearby dealership (Sheehy) just to "look." Charles King was the one who helped us, and despite knowing our situation, and that we weren't sure if my current car could be saved, he didn't hesitate to show us the requested Autobahn trim and take it for a test drive. So, two weeks after the initial test drive, when my car was finally declared a total loss, I was more than happy to return to Sheehy and request to purchase through Charles. After all my research, I knew Sheehy VW had the best selection of GTIs in the area and I was able to get the exact color and trim options I wanted. Charles and I were able to quickly come to what I thought was a very fair deal. When it came to financing, I worked with Kelly Ghabour, who was awesome and straightforward. The whole process was the smoothest and quickest I've ever gone through in a car buying experience. I would happily recommend this dealership for prospective VW owners.

We just purchased a car there and It was easy.. the car was super clean for an 09 Outback with a 132,000 miles and runs great.. they were definitely helpful. Mr Paul Wicker did an awesome job at making the deal happen and they really tried to get the best deal for me. Walked out of there with a big smile on face and definitely will come back and buy another car there in the near future

I don't write reviews unless I experience exceptionally good or bad service. In this case I was lied to. I bought a new 16 GTI autoban fully loaded in April of 16. With it I bought sheehy VIP for $850. It included all oil changes and tire rotations for 5 years. I also bought a interior protection package for another$650, I believe it covered the leather for 6 years or so. I specifically asked if I sell or trade the car could these packages be returned and get a prorated amount back as I knew I wouldn't have the car that long as I trade up every few years. I told reassured I'd be able to return the unused time on these packages and redeem a prorated amount back. So they took my money. About 6 months later I go in and ask them to price me out a golf R and see what they would give me for the gti trade. When they came back with the price a refund was listed for the sheehy package and I asked about it. The salesman said yes its automatically on there as I saw you purchased it. I didnt end up buying the golf r. However, my needs changed soon after and beginning of Nov of 17 I purchased a new ram 1500. I called sheehy and explained the situation and asked for the refund for the packages. I was told to fill out some form and it was emailed to me. After filling it out I was denied anything. The lady told me I couldn't get anything back because it was a used package. I explained that's not what was told me to and when I spoke on the phone and through email you said something different. I said if she couldnt take of this then let me speak to someone who could like a finance supervisor. I was told shed contact a supervisor and someone would be in touch with me. Never happened...a few weeks go by and I get a call from service department asking to schedule a service for the gti. I explained the situation and how the car is sold. This lady said she would send a email to the general manager detailing everything and have them contact me. That never happened either. At this point I'm frustrated I was lied too by this business. I trade up my car as well as my wife's car every 3 years and they lost all my possible business due to this poor service. Maybe this review will help straighten out the issue. I'll update the review if they fix the situation.

I'm a salesman so I understand I'm not easy to work with and dealerships usually hate me, and I dont doubt that the guys at sheehy hate me too after dealing with me. with that being said, AJ did a great job in finance and is a really nice guy in general. he does a great job of breaking down numbers and doesnt pressure you into buying anything you dont want to buy in the settlement office. the used car manager (I forget his name) is also a very reasonable man...even though I'm pretty sure I offended him and brought him to hell and back. last but certainly not least, Jonathan Martinez was my sales rep and he was extremely knowledgable about the product and really did try to fight for the best deal for me. He is kind and polite and sells in a low pressure manner with an emphasis on building value in the dealership. I got the deal I wanted at the rate I wanted and I know that there isn't another dealership that could have facilitated this deal. In and out of the dealership in under 2 hours which is increasingly rare, even at the dealership I work at.

THE WORST. We leased a car through Sheehy. All was fine for the last 9 months. With the lease we got full services packages. One of these packages included full bumper to bumper coverage which included things like getting detailing done, getting any repairs to upholstry done (this is what sold us on the plan because we have a dog and worried that he could damage the seats), fixing paint scratches, etc. We actually even used this warranty a few times with no problems. Now, out of nowhere, Sheehy says this doesn't exist and there is no such thing. They say that they have documented that repairs we had done in the past were no cost to us just because the manager "waived the fees out of good will". WHAT????? This is completely insane. We spent a total of $900 on service plans and all of a sudden they have taken off most of what that was supposed to cover. DO NOT EVER USE THIS DEALERSHIP. IT SEEMS THAT INEVITABLY THEY WILL SCREW YOU IN THE LONG RUN NO MATTER HOW GOOD OF A DEAL THEY SEEM TO GIVE YOU UP FRONT.

Great experience! Paul Wicker help my wife and I out. We walked in on a Saturday without an appointment and Paul greeted us as soon as we walked in. We test drove three cars with him and he as extremely knowledgeable with the their features by leaps and bounds compared the other two VW dealerships we visited in the area. Truly Exceptional!

I had one of best car-buying experiences with Aras Barlas at Sheehy VW Springfield. Aras was honest with us through the entire process, worked with us fairly and within our budget without trying to overextend our dollars while still meeting our car needs, and made the transaction seamless. I first worked with him online via email in the past when I ve dealt with email discussions regarding car buying, I ve felt misled by the time I walked into the dealership. That was certainly not the case with this experience. The information Aras provided via email was exactly what we received when we walked in the door. Additionally, Aras was extremely patient with us as we had our two-year-old son at the dealership during the transaction. He got us in and out quickly and without and problems. We would definitely work with him again and Sheehy again.

Called for the service dept, operator asked me 25 questions. Finally get someone in the service dept., ask to speak with a master technician. They transferred me back to the operator. She asks me if I want to set an appointment. I guess, if you don't set an appointment, one can talk with the service dept. She transfers me back, 599 rings later, no one answers. And the line hangs up! If your people can even figures out talk how to use the phone system, much less someone answering calls,screen customers as if they need to reach a fortune 100 CEO. How are you going to sell cars...?

I ve been purchasing new vehicles for over 15 years and I can honestly say Freddy Romero at Sheehy Volkswagen was the best person I ve ever had the pleasure of working with.

His attention to detail, knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in, and friendly personality made it very easy to work with when finding what worked best for my family and I.

I would recommend that anyone intreated in a new Volkswagen call Sheehy and ask for Freddy Romero directly before going to another dealer in the National Capital Region area.

Just bought a 2016 VW Touareg from Naim Bryant at Sheehy VW in Springfield VA. Excellent price, no hassle, no high pressure tactics. Just an honest, nice approach to buying a car. Can't recommend Sheehy VW or Naim Bryant enough.

By comparison, there is another VW dealer in northern Virginia that does the old hard sell routine. I walked out on that one.

Sheehy and Naim Bryant are the VW team for us!

The customer service from all of the agents in the Service Department is fantastic. Over the past 4 years they have remained the same and continue to provide awesome responsive service delivery any time we have to bring our Volkswagen in, usually accommodating us the same day. Whether it s a bent rim or smashed headlight from these horrible VA highways, they thankfully always have the parts in stock, and go above and beyond to make it right.

My buying experience with Sheehy was great. My salesman David Perez was upfront and honest and gave me some advice that will end up saving me some cash in the long run! Perry Dellagatta was my finance guy and he has his stuff down to a science. He didn t try to hard sell me in things that I didn t need or want and the whole finance process took less than twenty minutes! I would highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a VW.
