Poor saleswoman suzette, my wife had her running across the Hyundai lot and shes 5'5 hahahaha. She was good to us though, kept us engaged; although we were her 2nd sale, shes bound for amazing things there. Her and her Managers worked with us and got is a rock solid deal. I'm proud of the new Hyundai we got, and I couldn't be more tickled pink that we did business "the vandergriff way"

Sold out to money ,and greedy interest. No longer a community dealership. The death of a another car ship. I bought a. Car from them in 2016 , I don't know what has happened to the dealership. I wish I knew we too drove a long way expecting great service again sorry to see they fallen so far. Not knowing information should be expected, not expressing interest or seeking a satisfied customer base seems to be there new normal. Sad to see this. No words. Excuses though lots of them.

I can share many things wrong with Vandergriff Hyundai but here s two.

In January 2018, was told my battery drained due to the cabin lights being left on. I had to explain to service advisor that 2014 Tucson doors lock automatically a minute after you exit the vehicle. And that when the doors lock the cabin lights automatically turn off.

A couple weeks later, I went back for my state inspection. They told me my 2014 Tucson needed front and REAR brakes to past inspection. Said breaks measured at 3mm and less. Had a bad feeling about them so left and went to Hiley Hyundai Burleson. Hiley measured front breaks at 4mm and rear brakes at 8mm (good!).

Do not let Vandergriff steal your hard earned money! Find a honest business who actually cares to service your car.

Though I had done my homework prior to arriving at the dealership, I didn't know what to expect since it had been 7 years since my last car purchase. I must say, that dealing with my Salesperson, Darius Carter, and later his brother, my Credit Manager, Thomas Carter, was a very positive experience! The process was upbeat and educational, not pushy and "sales-e". Darius took me on a tour of the facility introducing me to the people I would later deal with in the Service Department.The atmosphere at the dealership was like they were hosting a party and the customers were the guests. As I looked around, most of the staff was young and enthusiastic, happy to be there.

I highly recommend Vandergriff Hyundai for their customer focus and great cars! When you go, ask for Darius Carter. He'll greet you with a broad smile and a firm handshake!

Fernando was excellent. The above and beyond service was much needed at this difficult time in society. As an essential worker in health care juggling two kids and a divorce, car issues was the LAST THING I NEEDED!

I remembered that Hyundai offers its family of drivers amazing services such as no cost towing and extended recall warranty. On top of it Fernando and his team worked hard to get me access to a loaner vehicle right away. I was able to continue working and getting my kids to Child care without any delays.

There were no exhaustive hoops or loops to jump through to get assistance. While I was not sure of what to expect i was thoroughly satisfied and impressed with Hyundai services.

I will be with Vanderfgriff Hyundai for a long time.

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Deceptive pricing, deceptive shell games, deceptive advertisements, deceptive phone calls, and deceptive website. Get the picture don't go or waist your time. After you walk out because of all the lies you can expect them to call and text nonstop even after you block them. They are like the ex you can't get rid of no matter how hard you try. Went to another Hyundai dealer in Denton and it took 20 mins to buy a car with no haggling, fare prices, and great to experience compared to this dump.

Called over the weekend and express that I wanted to buy a new 2021 palisade. They said they had the vehicle in stock and could sell it to me for an agreed price I said that I lived over an hour away and could drive up on Monday. Carlos went ahead and took my information so they would have it when I got there but informed me they would not run anything on my credit, as soon as we got off the phone I got an alert that my credit had dropped because vandergrift had done a hard inquiry. Because of this I drove to Rockwall and bought a new vehicle from them at Clay Cooley. Vandergriff reached out to me Tuesday and ask me if I was still interested in coming in after I told them I was not, and I expressed again why and they apologized for the inconvenience and said that they would follow up with the sales rep. I got a call again today from Carlos asking me if I still wanted to come look at the vehicle so obviously nothing has been done or said about this. Be careful if you're interested in a vehicle and learn from my experience do not give any information to them until you get there and make a final decision because they are not honest and will run your credit before you get there when they stated they wouldn't!

I was disappointed with communication between service tech and service case manager. Either the techs need to share more detailed notes or the case manager needs to ask more questions.

The Customer Service was great this time! The only issue we had was that after the Technician (Khadija Lateef) had replaced a fuse for the radio, the vehicle was returned to us with all electrical components (such as power lock, interior car light, brake lights, head light, radio, alarm system, etc.) NOT working. The vehicle was then taken back and Vandergriff found that the Technician had NOT inserted the fuse correctly all the way, causing the vehicle not to have electrical power. We were informed that the Technician has had several previous complaints on their carelessness and it shows that either no action is being taken to resolve the issues or the Technician is failing or unwilling to comprehend that doing a half-job could possibly cause a customer to have an accident due to the Technicians carelessness.

They were nice when they were trying to get you to buy. But when I left the dealer and found physical damage on my car, I asked them about it and if I could get it fixed under the warranty I paid SO much extra for. It's been almost a year later, and after several attepmts of contacting them I have still received no response.

Truly good dealership trying to get people in what they want.

I had a very old truck that i had done some custom work too that i never thought about trading in because i knew no dealership would take it. showed up here to look at a new truck on their lot that i was interested in and they were straight forward and didn't screw me around. told them the price i was interested in it for, they were willing to take my other truck on trade and gave me 800$ more than the KBB price to get my payment down . we test drove, they gave me the keys and it was all mine. even gave me time to swap my stuff from the old truck to the new one. Didn't try to sell me on a different car, didn't rush me in the test drive, didn't jerk me around on price. Just make sure you know what your trying to get before you show up, do your research, don't try to get a new model for under 10k with 2 miles on it and then be mad that they wont work with you.

One thing to be aware of when your car shopping, just make sure you have a good credit score. they will let you take whatever car you want home but watch the interest rate.

Very very satisfied with my experience at vandergriff Hyundai this past week. I walked in to look at a new car as a birthday present to myself. Fernando Baltazar was there to help me out and did everything he could possibly do to make my experience a good one!

He was very helpful working with me on financing and trade in so that it fit my needs. I ended up walking out with a 2012 Subaru wrx.

But here's what really stood out about Fernando to me. I got about 20 miles away from the dealership when the check engine light came on. I drove back to the dealership ready to raise hell but I didn't have to. All I had to do was tell him the light was on and he immediately put me in a nice loaner and told me he'd have it ready and taken care of for me the next day.

If you need a car, go see my man Fernando at vandergriff! He'll make sure you're treated right and taken care of!

Horrible experience. The service departments never has the right parts and is possible staffed. I have been without a car for a week and they still need more time. When I brought my car in for service a week ago, I was asked to pay 150 for the diagnostic fee . After discovering that issue, I decided what I wanted to have fixed/replacement. But then the next day they called me back, I thought it was my car was ready . But no- they asked me to ask me to pay another 150 for another diagnostic fee! This place is unorganized and inconsiderate. This was a horrible experience.

Although the genesis line has been separated from Hyundai, I bought my 2017 G80 from Vandergriff Hyundai. I typically despise going to a dealership, but Jeff and Jason made the process very easy. They also were very responsive to my schedule, helping me get in and out in record time. Also I encountered a few issues after the purchase, for example I noticed my rear passenger mat was missing, and they helped to resolve without issue. I would do business with them again.

A service department that has a caring staff who went extra miles to take care of us.
The battery died and could only be replaced by a Hyundai dealership.
Called and talked to Marty in the parts department to ask some questions.
Marty went above and beyond to help us. My spouse is in a wheelchair with two
broken heel and cannot put and weight on her feet. Sandy had recently had
surgery and was in pain. So we were desperate to get in
because it s the only car I can get her in safely to go the Doctor.

Marty talked to Toby in service who let me come in with out an appointment.
I was treated like a queen and my wait was short. They understood I had to
leave Sandy alone at home and I was worried about her.
Anibal Aragon the service manger checked on me several times to give me
information about the car and to see if I was ok.
Toby saw me at checkout and asked about Sandy and how she was doing.

Thank you so much. We so appreciate your kindness. You are our heroes.

My experience with Vandergriff was awesome. We all know how stressful buying a car can be but there was none if that at Vandergriff. Everyone is extremely friendly and making sure you are being taken care of. Our sales persons were Saul and Audrey and I really liked both of them. Great personalities and funny. So if you are looking a new or pre owned vehicle please go give Vandergriff a chance to earn your business. I will definitely go back when I need a new car. Great job guys!!!!!

I just recently bought a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited and the Bluetooth refused to connect or search for any other phone profiles besides the previous owners. could not get this to work for the life of me, I spent days researching on the web. finally we decided to go to Vandergriff and a taller young hispanic man came out and helped us and within one minute had my phone hooked up and playing YouTube and making phone calls thank you so much!!! Andy Im was wonderful. He listened to what type of vehicle I had previously driven, my wants and must haves, and my no ways. He was patient with me and knew just what color and type of vehicle to bring out for me to try. He was great when we walked away to go test drive some other brands and types of vehicles. I think he was a little surprised when I called and told him I was on my wa6y back to see him. He met us outside and took us to see a few more color choices. But his first one was spot on. We chose the 2020 Santa Fe Limited 2.0T in Calypso Red and could not be happier. Thanks Andy!!

Great service and the work was perfectly fine but the reminder for my appointment came an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment. For me, this isn t a big deal because I calendar everything myself but for someone else it could have meant they missed the appointment.

We did get a good car for a good price.
Unfortunately, the service department has been a nightmare. We've been told they have new(and very poor) service manager and team. It took over 3 months after we purchased a car to get the promised spare key and floor mats only after following up with them many times and several mistakes along the way. We just now getting a spare key because these guys are so inept, that we had to go to another dealership to get it taken care of. There have been hours of phone calls and wasted time.

I originally posted a very negative review. Everything that could have gone wrong did. However, after contacting the right people they did everything they could to make it right. All of my expectations were met this time. I feel as though Mike and David really tried to make sure I left there happy. I was able to return the vehicle i purchased and take home a brand new car in the color i wanted. I originally purchased a preowned Elantra, I was able to purchase a new Sonata. This service recovery is the reason I changed my rating from 1 star to 5.

Originally, my intention was to buy a Nissan Rogue. That was until I stopped by Hyundai and test drove the Tucson. My sales representative, Alexandra, was great attentive, wasn't pushy like the salesmen I'd encountered, and made the process easy.

During COVID-19, Hyundai is apparently a little short-staffed. After waiting for 5 minutes for someone to help, I was about to walk out. Not sure how the dealership is fully staffed. Hope the dealership adds more females, because Alexandra saved a sale.

Do not recommend. I showed up here to buy a car. I checked on the price before coming. The car is clearly listed at $15,787 on cars.com (see photo). They tried to sell the car for 15,787 plus $3,495 for "features". They are totally shady. Trey and Mike. I had bought a 2018 Accent from Hiley Hyndai in Ft Worth the previous week, and the day after my terrible experience at Vandergriff, I bought the exact same car at another Hyndai dealer in the metroplex (2018 Elantra Value Edition). Apparently Vandergriff has a reputation for these bait and switch tactics and adding to the price of the vehicle for "features" and trying to turn it into a lease purchase with a huge balloon payment. This is how they "do deals". If you buy a car or have bought a car from them, look at your paperwork, you might be quite disappointed when you look line by line. In the last few years I've bought brand new cars from Hiley Mazda and Hyndai, Meador Dodge, Park Place Lexus, Chacon Suzuki, and Van Hyndai. Of these Park Place was by far the best to deal with, then both the Hiley dealers, and Chacon. Meador Dodge is ok, the online price was honored but after the sale they didn't care. Van Hyndai was ok. So it's not as if I'm not aware of the new car buying experience, that said, I'll never go to another Vandergriff dealership again.

I bought the same car, the next day. I paid $16,800 for it, but that was the advertised price. $15,787 at Vandergriff was actually $19,282 plus.

Anyway there's a lot more. Best thing to say is buyer beware. Buy at your own risk from this place. They make tote the note places look good.

Sevice team helped me so much, i always ask for Casey or Anthony they are so awesome in making sure i am in good hands! Also, if i would recommend Byron who sold me my car last year is super awesome and still takes care and gives the best advice to his customers even after the sale is completed. He coordinates with the service department to make sure i am with the right person! Love it and recommend anybody to this dealership!

On Saturday August 1,2015, I took vehicle to Vandergriff Hyundai at 1120 W Interstate 20, Arlington, TX 76017. The reason for my visit is because I was unable to get my car out of park on 2 separate occasions that morning. The gear was stuck and I consulted the manual too see what I should do and it said to remove the cover fro a shift lock release button which I struggled to do for some time and was not able to in order to press the button and release the lock. The manual said that after doing so, to immediately take the vehicle to the Hyundai dealer to be inspected.
When I arrived in the Service Department an advisor came out and I told him what was going on and he said that they were just too busy to look at my car and that they'd be closing at 5 o'clock. He then proceeded to ask if I could leave the car there until Monday or Tuesday and my very next question for him was if he were going to put me in a loner car. He said no, and I told him that I could go the next 2-3 days without a car and he told me to bring it back on Monday.
Today is Monday August 3,2015 and I just left Vandergriff Hyundai and I pulled into the service department and waited for someone to come out and assist me and no one came. So I got out and walked inside. I walked to the main counter and told the lady I wanted to have my vehicle looked at and that I was back from when I came in on Saturday. She called over the load speaker for an advisor to come to the front desk. A lady came over and asked how she could help and I told her and she said, "I'm sorry, we are too busy to take your car today, could you come back tomorrow?" I then asked, if I needed to make an appointment because this was my second time coming back.
I do not know anyone's name who I had these interactions with because no one introduced themselves and provided their names or a business card or anything for me to connect with them again after they turned me away.
My concern is that the first advisor on Saturday or the lady today didn't offer to schedule an appointment and had no problem blowing me off.
This was my first impression of this dealership and I have to say that I wont go back.
At the dealer I've always gone to, a shuttle ride back home while I waited would have been offered, a loaner vehicle or an appointment set for a specific day or time for me to return for them to address my issues.
All I got from this place was a "Can you leave your car here until Monday or Tuesday and we are just too busy to look at your car. NO SOLUTION was given.
I am not impressed and I AM offended by the service they provided

Are you familiar with the phrase pass the buck well these guys are. I ve never had a dealership take 3+ weeks to pay off a trade note. I ve called this place more than a dozen times, talk to this person, that person. I ve never heard the phrase I ll call you back , or I m pretty busy, I ll tell so and so and have them call you more in my entire life. I m in the sales business as well, and if I reacted like this I wouldn t have a business. These guys have no clue what customer service is. I call in to speak to a manager and he says he is swamped. That s not how you treat customers. I m a very calm person but this has been the worst vehicle leasing experience I have ever had. I ve had to make an extra payment on a vehicle I don t even own anymore, and I still don t know if the pay off check has even been sent because I m still waiting on that I ll call you back with an answer I didn t know it was so difficult to walk over and ask accounts payable for a tracking number. If you like being passed around this is the dealership for you. I m disappointed I have to deal with them for three years. Terrible mistake, DO NOT RECCOMEND VANDERGRIFF HYUNDAI to any sane person. Maybe after this review I ll finally get a call back, wishful thinking probably not. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.

1. I went to buy a car advertised on the Vandergriff website. After discussion, the salesman told me the advertised price did not include the dealer prep fee. I asked how much that fee is and he told me it s usually $1000-$2000 . I told him I don t need the vehicle prepped and I won t pay for it. He told me the vehicle was already prepped, so I asked why Vandergriff falsely advertised the price of their car. No answer, but the manager waived the prep fee.

2. When I went to the finance office, after they ran my credit the finance guy told me he got me 4.9% financing. Angrily I told him my credit score is over 800 and there s NO WAY I m paying 4.9%. Surprised by my anger, he said let me see what else I can find. I asked him why he d offer me 5.9 if there are other , better offers. He told me someone upstairs is still looking. I said so you called me in here when you don t have all the numbers? I ll wait in the waiting area until you get all the numbers! He replied that he has all the offers now. I asked HOW he can have all the numbers ( financing offers) if someone upstairs is still looking for offers. He gave me some lie, so I walked out and went to the waiting area. Soon his boss came to me with an offer of 2.9%. Miraculous, right? I asked him why his employee didn t offer me 2,9 in the beginning, instead of 5.9%. He lied and said that offer just popped up. Then he lied again and told me that if I had accepted the initial 5.9%, when the 2.9% offer popped up 5 minutes later, the guy would have given me that better rate. SUCH DISHONESTY! I walked out and told them to keep their car.

3. A manager followed me out and asked me what happened. As I answered his questions, he kept interrupting me to defend his staff. I told him to stop interrupting me while I answer his simple question. He agreed to stop interrupting, but he didn t stop interrupting. That ended badly and I left.

4. 20 minutes later the sales manager called and asked me what happened. I told him what I just told you. He apologized and told me he just purchased me a lower rate from Capitol One and he asked me to come back. He paid $299 to bring my rate to 2.25%. I bought the car but I will never go back.

5. This dealership is dishonest at every level. They advertise cars for $1000-$2000 less than the real price. They offer you finance rates which benefit them. They lie to your face, and then lie about their lies. Abdullah, the manager is the only person who treated me honestly, and that MIGHT be because he knew that was his last chance to make a sale. Overall, the place is dishonest. Would I have taken 15 minutes to type this review if it weren t true?

Worst experience ever!! I would give them 0 stars of it were an option. When I got there they tell me the price for my battery is $160 WITH my warranty (so labor is free and I pay 75% of the battery cost). I jokingly ask how much more they charge than other places (we all know you pay a little more at dealerships). He said about $20 and I told him that was fine. It is worth $20 to not have to go anywhere else as I'm already there and my car will die of I turn it off. After about 45 min the guy comes out and tells me it is gonna be another hour ( it didn't quite take that long). After they are finished the service guy who is obviously frazzled runs around for 15 min trying to get the bill printed then another 15 min trying to explain to me why it is $60 more than the already inflated amount I agreed to when I got there. They never could give me a straight answer. I finally called my husband who came up and gave me his car so I could go run errands and left him to figure it out. He was so irritated by the bait and switch that he made them put the old battery back in and he took it somewhere else. He was in and out for far less than $160 in 30 minutes. I WILL NEVER GIVE THESE PEOPLE A DOLLAR OF MY MONEY.....

Just had my sonata serviced and a recall taken care of.. Dealt with Mike in the service center and had an awesome experience dealing with him(at least as good as it gets for taking my car to get serviced), I wasn't pressured to pay for anything that wasn't needed and Even got a free carwash without even spending a dime today.

Robert was amazing!! This was the shortest time I have ever spent at a dealership!! I told them up front what Inwas working with. What I wanted and thy delivered! They quoted us one price but when we got there it was a little bit more, however they threw in a bunch of features that they would normally charge extra for.. (mats, tint, net..) etc way more than the price difference than they originally quoted me. I love my new Elantra and When it s time for me to upgrade, I will be back!!

I am very pleased with the experience and car recently purchased at vandergriff. The salesperson Tanner was friendly and the finance person not pushy on the extras and worked efficiently. The car was clean, gassed and ready to go. From the moment I walked in the door to ask for a test drive to the time I left was 95 minutes, which is the fastest I ve been through this often long process. The usual sales tactics were present as to be expected but overall quite pleased and recommend this dealership.

This place has no integrity. They took all my personal info (social security, finance, etc...) and promised me they d hold a specific truck til I arrived. They even put a Sold Sticker on it when I had a friend go check it out. I m now en route from DENVER and had to call them to find out the truck sold 2 days ago. The Used Car Sales Manager tried deflecting the blame as if their salespeople don t know any better and it wasn t my salesperson s fault.. nor his fault. I m sorry, you re the manager and didn t know what your reps were doing? The reps don t know what the other reps are doing? Seems like you re all horrible at your jobs and pretty shady. Typical used car salespeople.

The service manager Laylon really took care of me ...

The service manager Laylon really took care of me and my wife after finding out that I waiting for 5 hours for my vehicle issue to be diagnosed. They were able to put in a new transmission since it was under warranty and we're happy that Laylon compensated us for our time. We really appreciate everything that Laylon and the Vandergriff team did for us. Thank You.

I wasn't really happy with the last service.. my car was driving real rocky I knew I needed an alignment so I took my car to get an alignment so I'm thinking my car fixed when I pulled off after service was done NO!!! My car still driving like something wrong so I took my car to a car service near by because there is no way I can drive 12 miles back home with my car driving rocky like it was. Car service told me from not getting an alignment sooner my tire on my passenger front was really chewed up and all I need is a new tire.. why didn't anyone from vandergriff tell me I needed a new tire before letting me drive away or gave me the option to get a new tire, anything. Then a week later I'm having battery problems I'm thinking I just left Vandergriff they didn't check my car like I ask for any other miner problem that I can just get out the way while I'm here... I'm not sure if I want to go back anyway because the wait time is far to long. One day I needed an oil change that took almost 4 hours..

My husband and I couldn't have received better service from the moment we arriived, to the time we pulled off the lot in our new Palisade. Samuel greeted us in the lot (with his mask on) and was extremely relaxed, professional and patient. After our initial test drive, he very politely excused himself, due to a previous commitment and passed the baton to Byron. We were a little apprehensive about having to start over with another Salesman, but Byron was as pleasant, calm, patient and accommodating as Samuel. Praise God. Throughout my indecisiveness of which color, the wants vs. the needs of the trims, Byron was the perfect gentleman. Even Fernando in Finance had personality and humor! We are extremely satisfied with the service you guys provided and not to mention, excited to have our new car. God Bless you all.

I just got my car and hadn t had it a week and it started messing up. Took it to the service center they said that it didn t read any issues on the computer and sent me on my way. The next week I almost didn t make it work because of the same issue that Did not read on the computer So I called to ask for man in charge of sales. And left I message for Alareo. He called me back immediately and told me he would take care of me and get my car fixed! And that he did! My car is my sole provider for me to work n take care of my Mom! Without it being dependable, we are dead in the water. Alareo understood this and provided me with the best service. I would definitely recommend Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington! They have been great! I m a happy customer so far. I m back in my car and it s so far so good

Update: Had to bring my car back with same problem, thank God it was under warranty. Tim done a fantastic job taking care of me but the service dept. let me drive out of there with a flat tire and I had to turn around and go back. They charged me to fix the tire and I was severely late to work. I have to change my star rating to a 4 . This is definitely no reflection on my service advisor. He was just as surprised as me!

I went to Vandergriff to purchase a used car that was purchased at an auction. There w a s a delay in the vehicle being transported to the dealership. Alley and Fernando were excellent in working with me to get the terms I was happy with. They went above and beyond to take care of me. I would recommend this dealership to all my friends when shopping for a vehicle. Still waiting on the outcome of how my vehicle will look once all maintenance is complete.
