Great experience with our salesman Patrick Mburu. He was attentive and when we started getting hungry he helped us out with a healthy snack. Fernando the finance gentleman was easy to work with as well. Overall a good easy experience at this dealership.

Andy Yu with internet sales did a fantastic job! No haggling, no surprise fees. The price I was quoted on the internet was the actual price (plus tax, tags and title of course), and unlike other dealerships, the vehicle was immaculate, and fairly priced per Kelly blue book. I feel like I got very good deal!

Manny did a fabulous job of having the exact car that I wanted to see pulled up and ready to go prior to my arrival. When I wasn t fully satisfied with the price, the dealership didn t put me through a lot of haggling. We were in and out with our new vehicle in a matter of 3 hours. Good job, Manny and Vandergriff.

Buying the vehicle was a good experience, I got in what I wanted at a decent price.
Trying to get a hold of anyone in the finance department for anything warranty related can be tough though if you aren t persistent. That is my only issue with this dealership, generally very positive experiences though.
The finance director Abdullahi has been extremely professional and helpful to me with any problems I have had.

My experience with Vandergriff Hyundai was excellent! Had the pleasure of working with the salesman Brandon who was so friendly and helpful! Jason the sales manager was also very accommodating. Overall I had such a wonderful experience and will most definitely be shopping with Vamdergriff again! Would highly recommend!

Worst buying experience thus far!

I travelled to this dealership twice in hopes of buying a 2016 Nissan 370z. The car was in great shape, drove great and all. When I went inside to talk numbers, the car was listed at $18,500 internet price. My salesman then presented me a piece of paper that showed the final price of $24,800. This markup included a $1,800 dealer prep fee, and the rest were options like window tint, paint protection, and other unnecessary stuff.

I said no to everything - take it all off. This was very sketchy to me and gave me cold feet. When the salesman finally removed the markups from the deal after some back and forth, the used car sales manager then came over to say that he would not negotiate the price on the car, saying that he would not go a penny less on the $18,500 price. What type of normal dealership does not negotiate the price of the car? I was blown away by this.

I asked myself then: Does he not see 2 valued customers sitting right in-front of him?
I then got up and left after asking myself this.

I would NOT recommend this dealership to purchase a car - take your money elsewhere.
This review is coming from a real person!

p.s: I now see that they raised the price of their car from $18.5 to $20k on their website. What?! This totally contradicts their We market our absolute best price online statement that I was told multiple times at the dealership. What a waste of time and gas.

Honestly, they were all so nice during the car buying process, as good salepeople should be. My saleman was wonderful! We signed the paperwork and I drove off into the night. The next morning I was to bring my car back to get the windows tinted. My saleman again was so nice! But the funny thing is that the same peoole that took the time to learn my name the day before quickly forgot who I was! The person who did our financing paperwork passed right by me and didnt say a word to me after I said good morning to him. The kicker is that about 15 later he called and ask me about my experience at Vandergrift! I told him I was actually in the building and passed right by him earlier. He apologized. Now, its a few months later and I called the service department and the person I talked to was extremely rude. I even believe he hung up on me.....because we were "disconnected" and he has yet to call me back. I would not recommend this place to anyone but I would recommend the salesman. Let's hope that he leaves goes to more genuine dealership!

The sales person came back with some numbers, not sure how he got them if he didn t even check with lenders on the interest or anything, said he would go talk to whoever about lowering the price of the SUV or lowering the payment. When he came back he said something about they was busy or wasn t available. Idk, I m very disappointed that they didn t even try to help me. I went there based off their reviews. Not a good experience at all.

He was patient and provided solid information on the different vehicles, condition, and options. He took the extra time to ask questions about our impressions and feelings after test drives. This place is great. They had a Subaru WRX that I have been looking around for. I actually had a deal going with a few other places but these guys went over the top to keep me as a customer! They gave more more for my car without even seeing it and met the price I was looking for in order to fit my budget. Car sales man Fernando is the guy to look for. He didn't play games he took me serious and even brought his used car manager out to make a deal going right when I was ready to leave. These guys are great and if your looking for help go see them. Btw I love my car. Definitely will go back or recommend to anyone! They made the deal right and met my needs!

This is your typical big dealership where the importance is put on their sales and not on the customer's wants/needs. Vandergriff automatically adds what they say is $3200.00 worth of "options" and these are non-negotiable! They are standard over-priced Vandergriff extras....their way of putting extra money in the Vandergriff coffers. Almost every simple question or inquiry I made resulted in having to wait for Patrick (sales) to disappear and finally return with his response, many times from Jason (new car manager). I was still trying to select a vehicle and Jason was sending Patrick out with quotes and payment options on different vehicles! So, I simply drove to another Hyundai dealership (there are many others out there) and saved myself $9,000 from Patrick's "best" bottom-line offer. I purchased exactly what I wanted, not what Vandergriff wanted to "sell" me. I received double what Vandergriff offered me for my trade-in AND the whole experience was done quickly and with honest answers. Do your homework and research concerning financing, rebate offers, deadlines, trade-in values, etc. because Vandergriff will take you to the cleaners if you don't!

Horrible place. Don t go unless you want to pay the highest price for a car that you can and love sitting around wasting your time. Prices are not listed on their cars and they will not tell you the price of your trade in. If you go in looking for a cheaper vehicle they will do everything they can to get you in a more expensive vehicle rather than show you what you came looking for.

They advertise a price on the internet and then add hefty additional charges when you go in to make the deal. (Bait and switch!) Sadly, one of the salesman I dealt with was very unprofessional and seemed very inexperienced. I shopped several different dealerships and this one was one of the worst.

I purchased a 2019 Kona Ultimate from Vandergriff ...

I purchased a 2019 Kona Ultimate from Vandergriff Hyundai in Arlington TX this past Saturday, 15 December. Today I contacted the dealership to discuss an exchange and was told by the sales manager this was not an option for me since I had not gone through the Shopper Assurance program online. He asked what the issue was and I told him I was looking for something less expensive and was actually interested in a 2018 model from another dealership because Vandergriff does not have any models that interest me. I was told I could exchange the car for one of the 2018s they had on the lot, but they were all demos in black. However, there were other vehicles available which I wish I had been told up front during the first conversation.

Also, the pricing on the site is misleading because they advertise an internet price including all possible discounts even if your are infinite. Unfortunately, it looks like I'm stuck with a car from these guys which is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth and marks the beginning and end of my relationship with them. BUYER BEWARE!!!

UPDATE: So I followed up per the owner's request and after sending an email to Emma on 18 December, I received a followup from her in less than a day informing me she would forward my email to the general sales manager who would contact me regarding the issue. It is now 21 January and I have yet to hear from anyone. It seems some remedial training on what the goal of "every customer leaves satisfied" means...

After i was dissatisfied with the total pricing I asked him if i could have my application back multiple times and he ensured that my credit will not be pulled however in fact it was! My main reason for visiting them was for an oil change for my Hyundai Elantra GT. I called them at 4 and checked if they had an appt for 5 and they said they did. When I went there, they almost sent me back. I had to talk to the manager who recollected talking to me. Oil changes typically take 30 min, especially with an appointment. The guy who attended to me was cocky at best. After 30 min, when I checked if my car was done, he said they are still working on it. After 10 more min I asked and he said they are still working on it. So I took this chance and went to the other side and test drove the Palisade. Even there, no one attended to me for 10 min. But once I caught an agents attention, things were smooth. I returned from the test drive and after a total of almost 30 more min and they said the oil change was almost done. When the car came after 10 min, I checked with them if they had washed my car as it was a part of the package. They said they can give me a coupon which I need to take to another location 4 miles away. I really needed a wash and left the place angrily and sadly. The attendant said I was lucky they took my car in. It was almost demeaning. I went and got the car washed. O we all it took me 2.5 hours from the time I entered their door to the time my car was washed. I would not recommend this place for service. I might think about buying a car there if I get a good deal but then I might kill the thought as it would mean I will have to take my car back for their service.

I walked in to look on the lot at around 730 pm on a Monday nite and by 10 pm I was out the door with a great low milage elantra in hand.!!!

Bought a 2017 Sonata with the help of a gentleman by the name of Jared Camp on the sales team. I must say he's the be best car salesman I have dealt with. Before the Sonata, I settled for a Veloster and it had a little issues. Jared took it upon himself to switch me over to the Sonata and still followed up with me after to make sure I was satisfied with it days later. Needless to say he made my whole car buying experience very smooth and I will definitely deal with him in my future buys.

After having the car for several weeks and not being able to find out why it intermittently will not start, I called them to tell them I was going to pick the car up but needed it to be ready as I was needing to go to work. With an hours advance notice when I got there, they had to track someone down to print the paperwork and bring the car out. If they strive for five star service, this certainly was not an example of it.

My husband and I leased a car from another Hyundai dealership in 2013. We purchased the Car Care Service Plan at that time and received a booklet of coupons for our future services. We were assured it could be used at other dealerships, we even verified that before our appointment. We went to Vandergriff this past weekend for our scheduled service. The tech came out, took our coupon and our car, and we waited for the work to be done. After about an hour, they came to get us as our car was ready. It was at that time we were informed they didn't accept the coupon from the other dealership. They would take it as a one-time courtesy but we had to pay the difference (the same work in Plano is $20 cheaper than at Vandergriff). My issue is that we weren't informed of this policy before they took out car. Had they done so, we would have left and made the inconvenient drive to Plano. My husband and I both called and left messages for the manager of the service center (ironically, we were given two different people) and have yet to hear back from them. I encourage people to seek service elsewhere, and if you must go to Vandergriff, good luck.

I give 2 stars because of my recent encounter, which was originally so simple.....

When I bought my car the experience was great! Kirby, made the whole car buying experience stress free and so easy. I instantly fell in love. - that was a mistake. During the buying my first car experience I thought I a scheduled oil change was set up for me. Apparently I was wrong, and it is just my first one is free. Which is cool, no problems there! So a month later when I call to find out when "my appointment" was I get put on hold by the service dept and transferred to someone in sales.... the information I am inquiring about he could not tell me so he "says" he is transferring me to the service dept instead I get hung up on. people make mistakes I get it, happens. However when I call back and tell the person on the phone I was hung up on, he does not once apologize for the convience that may have had it was not on purpose, he Acted as if I did not matter. (that really upset me- it's as if he basically said okay you bought a car from us thanks, you no longer matter) ... customer service here definitely gets negative stars, people..

After the man on the phone, being so inconsiderate, and speaking to me with disregard, I was transferred to some lady. I assume the receptionist, I had told her the situation and SHE DIDN'T EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT HAPPENED EITHER! Like do these people honestly not give a crap about those customers or what?! Like it's just common courtesy to apologize to a customer who OBVIOUSLY just encountered a situation that wasn't pleasing. Anyways, she informed me that they no longer schedule appointments and I could come whenever I needed one. I was very displeased with the lack of empathy shown to me and just pure lack of customer service. That I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was transferred to someone and left a message. I was at work when I received a phone call back from Rod- someone in sales probably, but I was with a customer and unable to take the call. So I called back and was told he was busy and he would give me a call back. It is now well past 24 hours since I was told he would call me back and I am still waiting for that call. HA. I waited for them to call back and apologize LITERALLY ALL I WAS LOOKING FOR, wasn't fixing for free things, NOTHING! JUST A SIMPLE "we aplogize for you being hung up on earlier, how can we help you today?"

I live 314 miles away from the dealership. I drove all that ways to purchase a vehicle. Once, purchased I am disregarded and made to feel like I do not matter. I mean after all they got their money right so to them who cares.

If I had known I was going to be treated this way for continuing to do business with this dealership I would of stayed where I lived and bought a car. I guess my judgment, time, and money was wasted. I was going to refer my brother, dad, and cousin who all need a vehicle but I definitely will not... I will however take my money, even if that means I have to spend more to another dealership and I will also NOT be taking advantage of the first free oil change. I would rather pay than be treated the way I was treated by those people I spoke on the phone with.

Moral for anyone reading this....Just treat people kind and sincerely, it goes a long way.

Called and set up appointment for service had to wait for 7 days for first available. Got here and was told no they could not get all my issues done come back another day. Negotiated to have engine and oil lights diagnosed today. I have been here for 4 hours had 2 bags of chips while setting at a table in dealership and had a few chips that fell on floor so managment brought me a broom and dust pan and was told "Just bringing you this so you can sweep up the mess." NOW THAT IS HOW YOU DEAL WITH CUSTOMERS

Had such a good experience buying a 2012 Sonata, that I went back and bought a 2014 Santa Fe two years later. I have bought many new vehicles over the years, but I have to say that working with this Salesperson(Richard Harvey) both times and his managers was the BEST experience I have ever had. They worked with me until we could come to a price that I could afford. And being retired on Social Security does have its limits. This salesperson and dealership is HIGHLY recommend.

I ve been coming here for service for 4-1/2 years now and everyone is always super friendly and very helpful. Every service advisor I ve had over the years has been great. It s always a pleasant experience. Oil changes and inspections are super quick! If you get the wash it will take longer but just be patient unless you want to do it yourself. Lol!

He heard my story on my broken nissan and listened in what I was looking for in a car and I wanted to get a price for a more newer and reliable car. Audrie was awesome. I came in to look at a car, and I wasn't happy with the one I originally wanted to see. I told her my budget, features and things that were important to me and she found the perfect car UNDER my budget. Great energy, attitude and knowledge. Excellent experience.

Although I am extremely happy with my car, the level of service I recieved from Vandergriff Hyundai was very poor. My car had a minor issue that needed to be fixed. i realized the USB port didnt work the day after I bought it. I called 2 times and emailed to get it fixed with no response either time.

Then I recieved an email from the GM requesting positive feedback on the survey. He asked me to reach out to him if I needed anything. problem was, there was no contact info in the email. when I replied to the email, it was automated and returned to me. I was able to do research online to get his info. Long story short, I have made 5 trips to the dealership and it's been over a week. my car still isnt fixed, I cannot get any ETA on when my it will be fixed and I only receive updates if I reach out first. oh, and they lost my keys somehow. Beware of this dealership. Once the ink dried on the check they do not do anything to provide quality service or drive loyalty. And I also never recieved a link for a survey. I guess when they know they screwed up they remove your email from the database.

My wife and I purchased a 2017 Tuscon Ultimate fro...

My wife and I purchased a 2017 Tuscon Ultimate from this dealership on 5/14/18. The salesman and finance officer were very friendly, and up to that point it was a good experience. It went downhill after that. While waiting to speak to the finance officer, the salesman could not locate mine, or my wife's drivers' licenses that we had handed him to be photocopied. Apparently he had left them on the photocopier, and they were no longer there. He proceeded to look for them the rest of the evening to no avail. In order to be able to legally drive our new vehicle home, we had to renew our licenses in their internet booth (which the salesman did pay for, thankfully.) The salesman said he would continue to look for the ID's, and update me the next day.

The next day, after not hearing back from the salesman, I called the dealership. Turns out, the salesman was off that day...so I asked for the Internet sales manager (who was just hearing about this for the first time). He assured me they would continue to look for the ID's, and call me back. After a whole day of searching with no luck, I asked if they would be willing to make accomodations for our inconvenience since we would have to put fraud alerts on all of our bank accounts (like cutting a second key to the car for us at little to no charge) to which he adamantly refused to do so. Finally, our licenses were found (next to the photocopier in a drawer), and were sent to us (they originally wanted us to go back to the dealership to retrieve them, which was an hour away). I was also able to convince them to send us the SD card for the navigation which was missing, and should have been in the vehicle to begin with.

Now, a few weeks later, we come to find out they overcharged our credit card for our downpayment by $1,000. Thankfully, they are refunding this.

All in all, a somewhat frustrating experience, and I honestly couldn't recommend this dealership to others. It just seems that they need to pay better attention to the details, rather than trying to get you out the door with a car as soon a possible.

David was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. We haven't bought a car in 8 years, so we were nervous about the whole financial process and making such a big decision. Bernardo was patient and helpful finding the right financing.

Literally on the way home in our new car (only 13 miles!!!) we hit a milk crate on the freeway and damaged our bumper. I hope the customer service doesn't end after we leave the lot, because we are devastated that we damaged our car and need it fixed.
