I went to the dealer last week because they offered really good amount of "DISCOUNT" for the vehicle I was looking for on their public website. However information they have listed on the website extremely misleading the customer. They have listed 2019 Sonata on the website $16,350, but at the dealer they showed me price is $21,700 before tax and title fee. It was waste of time. Please change your price on the website and don't mislead the customers.

Fast and very professional . my car was due for an oil change and my dealer was backed up. We had to go run an errand and saw your dealership. Im glad I stopped in. My service writer was very knowledgeable and gave me an explanation of what ws happening to my car. I loved getting the text and email so I have a reference in the future. Thank you again

He was very aggressive when i did not want to got above my set budget/ milage range on a used car. I felt very disrespected and i would not reccomend buying a car from this location

I had to take my vehicle in for some repairs. I had a great service advisor Anthony Aguirre he was awesome!!! He was very knowledgeable, professional and courtesy. He really made the experience so much easier. I thank God the main repairs were covered under warranty. They did a great job repairing everything in a timely manner. Anthony was wonderful in keeping me updated as to what was going on with the repairs and how long it would take. I thank God!! I got my vehicle back right in time and everything that was repaired was good.

Chantal did an excellent job communicating with me leading up to our appointment to see, and drive, the vehicle. I work in Florida and was only going to be home for 48hrs to see my family. We did everything on the front end via email, and a few phone calls, to make sure my time wasn't wasted. We arrived on Saturday morning, test drove the vehicle, and drove home with our new vehicle within about two hours. The multiple staff members we met throughout the process were also very helpful and it was a pleasant experience. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the internet price that was advertised wasn't the price they would actually sell you the vehicle for. Still confused about that. We paid around $500 higher than that price but the price we bought it for was still a very competitive and aggressive price, just a bit higher than the website stated.

I thank you for your service, however I was only given one set of keys. After reviewing documents I noted I signed stating I received a set of keys which didn t occur. Initially I was told by agent Torres that there was only one set of keys, that did not resonate until I read signed documentation. I will pursue resolution. Otherwise thanks. Mike Melendez

I will say not every sales manager at Vandergrift Hyundai is easy or pleasant to deal with, however in the end they gave us a great deal. I will all so say that both Salesman I have dealt with have been great. Carlos was kind and very helpful and understanding. Yes in the end I would probably buy another vehicle from them, but I really wish they would be more honest right away instead of having to go through a lot of drama to get a good deal. After all good deals is what brings customers back and make those same customers refer others.

Went there because they had a large selection of the Hyundai Palisade. We were greeted outside, told the salesman we wanted to test drive the Limited edition and look at the color options they have. He took us inside to get our info and promptly went to the Sales Mgr. He returned to us stating that the Limited as a markup of $5k and were we still interested. Absolutely turnoff. Basically came across that they did not want us to test drive let along buy the car from them. We stated our intentions as well and that we had tried to look at another Hyundai dealership, but that Vandergriff had a larger selection. Both the salesman and Sales Mgr. Spent the next ten minutes hung up on where we went and their concern for why we went there. We decided to leave after such poor service and a complete waste of time. We will take our business elsewhere now and in the future.

We found a deal online that we couldn't pass up. We were in Texas for a funeral and saw a car they advertised online and were looking for a car for our daughter. We got to their dealership and afterntest driving the car my daughter wanted a different color. They didn't have the same car for the same price in the color she wanted. They moved heaven and earth to get her exactly what she wanted. It took 6 hours of our day, but we left in exactly what she wanted and we couldn't be happier. Everyone at Vandergriff Hyundai were super helpful and extremely patient with us and our 4 children. Thank you!

Service Department is the worst I have ever seen in all my years of driving. They dont answer the phones, and are what I assume could only be way under staffed. I have never been in that place for service and not had a issue. They always have horrible wait times, and never tell you that you will waste time you can never get back , sittiing in waiting area.Avoid this place at all cost.

He paid meticulous attention to detail on what exactly I was looking for and provided the up-most professional and top notch customer service I have ever experienced at a car dealership. 2 stars. Some parts were great, the important ones - not so much.

Car buying is stressful. Most people fear the dentist. I fear car dealerships. Which is why I was pro-active and obtained my Pre-Qualification and 100% approval from Capital One BEFORE even reaching out to a dealership. I found one that had a car I was interested in with a advertised price and payment showing on Auto Navigator that was in my budget goals, and thankfully due to my schedule, we were able to work everything out between calls, texts, and emails.

I was supposed to just go in, sign and drive away, as all the details (I thought) had been hammered out prior to my visit since I was on a STRICT schedule due to work. Got there, signed papers, and midway through the F&I guy sits down and tells me Capital One did not approve me because I listed both my jobs and if I wanted to do that, I had to be at both for 6 months before they d approve me. But the only lender they thought that might would be Santander. Time wasted? Ok. I was told all was approved and good to go before I even came in which is the ONLY reason I came in. Still got the text message from the sales gal.

I was almost out the door to freedom before I was stopped by a Sales Manager. Kept trying to shove Santander down my throat again when I knew I already 100% had an approval from Capital One (even had the letter in my hand). Had to call Capital One on my own from my vehicle. Learned that the dealership put incorrect #s on the submission to them resulting in the denial (showing I made less, putting the car as not the advertised price on Auto Navigator, blah blah blah). Capital One also said I qualified with one of the 2 jobs and did not need to have both as was submitted. Good thing I had already sent all the EXACT documentation to validate to Capital One prior to going to the dealership. Capital One didn t understand why they advertised the car for $12,500 but put $18,900 on the paperwork. They don t tell you that you have to qualify for the Hyundai rebates up front to GET that $12,500 price. And they also DON T tell you that you didn t qualify for it until you look at the paperwork and demand answers for why the numbers don t add up. Capital One reviewed and corrected the dealerships submission errors over the phone with me and said if I wanted the car, I could go back in and get it, OR walk away. I should have walked away at that point. I was 30 minutes from needing to be at work. By then, it started pouring rain. 6-7 sales agents standing around watching with umbrellas inside waiting for customers, not one stepped out so I ended up soaked, including being soaked again after I bought the car and left. Thanks guys. Real gentlemen!

I will say the gentleman who crunched the numbers with me up in the box worked hard to make the deal happen. I m pretty sure due to the shady practices he had to lose money on this deal which is a shame. The F&I guy also met the challenge when I said if they could get me out the door in 20 minutes I d buy the car. They made it happen. Went into the F&I office not even 10-15 minutes of signing papers, came out and the car was fully gassed up, paper tags ready, and a guy waiting to give me a crash course in the cars features, and I was on my way and at work with 5 minutes to spare. The wrap up was swift!

Don t know what the hiccup was, where, or why they tried so hard to push Santander down my throat (being in the industry, I know why ), but all in all - I got the car I came for, and cheaper then originally agreed. Just did not appreciate the dealership experience. Good thing I dont have to do this again for another 5 years.

Final closing note, my sales gal (Audrie) started out as a single mom of 3 kids when we started corresponding to which I gave her kudos. By the time we met face to face at the dealership (a matter of days), she then said was a mother of 5 kids. Let me share some advice my father once told me, if you tell the truth you never have to remember anything. Makes life so much simpler.

I pulled up. I was greeted immediately by Robert. He showed me to the lobby as they serviced my car. When my wait time got close to being exceeded he came to provide an update and water. I asked specific questions to see if there were any issues I noticed with my car or if I just needed my recall service. I also needed a wheel alignment.
When my car was ready Robert and Jason walked me to my car. Jason explained the status of my tires and the service and that when I get new tires I may or may not need another alignment. If so just call in and schedule and they will take care of me.
Robert then broke down and highlighted services that I may want to get for my entire car functions. Showed me a great package for vehicle under or close to 90k. It was a great price. Overall service was incredible. The only criticisms I have is: having an appointment, but still having to wait and being told over the wait would be 1hr and it turned into almost three hours. I still will go back. How I am treated is #1 and my car runs great. Totally worth the wait. Endles thumbs up, but I only have 2 and 5 stars. Thank you very much Robert and Jason.

When I arrived at the dealership the car we discussed was out front ready for me to view. They offered me a price on the phone and there were no hidden fees. I was in and out in 2 hours. No pushy sales tactics just honest dealings. Will use them again.

I was a little disappointed that I waited longer than usual to be greeted. However , this is a difficult times. I was disappointed that I had to leave my car and no loner car. However Guber was a very pleasant experience. I was disappointed that my car wasn t washed (like on the past) but I got a coupon for a free car wash . I still give you a 5 star rating . My car is running great. This is my 4th car and I will continue to come back to you for service or new car.

Had been in California all week with car parked...get in it to drive home to Fort Smith Arkansas..check engine light on..storms coming in and had already hit hometown..exhausted from trip and early flight...stop by this place and was basically treated like rotalty..they checked car said everything looked good and retested after turning engine light off just to be sure..sent us on our way within 30 minutes. Can't thank you enough. Made it home safely.

I came to these people with every intention of purchasing a vehicle from them. I looked online, found one I really liked, emailed them and filled out a finance application. One of their sales people texted me for more info and I gave them everything they needed. They said they submitted my finance application to their manager and the manager would get back with me shortly on the terms as well as what I could get for my trade in. This was on Friday July 10th around 2pm. I heard nothing back the rest of that day though I did see a hard inquiry appear on my credit report as expected. I texted the sales person later that afternoon asking if they had any news yet. No response. No response Saturday either. I called them on Monday and everyone was busy so I had to leave a voicemail. Nobody called me back. I called again early Tuesday morning and briefly spoke with someone who said that they didn't technically open till 9 so he took my info and would have the sales person I was working with call me. I still never got a phone call back, although I did see within the hour that I had 2-3 more hard inquiries show up on my credit report. This made me angry that they were continuing to pull my credit, this time without my authorization. I was okay with them doing it when I submitted my application on Friday, but why were they still adding hits to my credit when I couldn't even get anyone to contact me about buying a car? After reading all the poor reviews on here I decided to go elsewhere. I wanted to buy a car and they should have been calling me and trying to sell me on a car rather than me following up three times and never getting anyone to talk to me. My husband and I went to Jerry's Hyundai in Weatherford yesterday and had a wonderful buying experience where I got a very nice, almost brand new, Tucson. Vandergriff Hyundai truly does have terrible customer service and it cost them a sale.

While I do believe that some have excellent experiences there, for me I have had an extremely negative experience. This was my second. The first, they actually made it right. This time, they came short of insulting me. I exercised what I thought was due diligence in asking an out of the door price stating I didnt' have a car and would have to Uber (for which they offered to pay half) . Until I get there (shelling a good amount of money on uber, and 1h of commute) to find out that the price was conditional on a financing offer, which was essentially 2K more expensive than the usual financing offer. I cannot give 0 stars. I did everything I could to avoid the drama and yet, they found a way. But not big deal and to quote the manager "Don't worry, our lights won't turn off if you don't buy the car". Oh and they didn't pay for their half of the uber fee, of course, that was also conditional. They have nice car. Double and triple check everything and still check again. I would say though that Patrick, a young salesman is extremely nice and professional. As for the others I dealt with, this is another story.

I was optimistic that my in person experience on 1/8/20 was a one time thing but today when I called to ask a question it wasn't any better. I'll save the long story and just say that communication with customers is crucial. If you say you'll communicate with a customer if the wait is going to be longer, then do so. When a customer calls on the phone, be polite and courteous. As a result I have chosen to take my business to another Hyundai dealership.

The purchase process was fine. However, they took my credit app information over the phone (wrote down the wrong date of birth) and now I am unable to create an account to pay my bill. They have my social security number and I've verified endless amounts of information, yet they cannot correct THEIR error via phone or in person. Must fax in information and wait three days. My car payment will be late at that point and I guarantee that I will be forced to pay late payments due to their lack of listening skills.

Customer service is beyond unwilling to assist.

I give these guys 5 stars. They was very prompt, very professional, very helpful. Byron was my rep and he was fantastic. It was an easy conversation, flow, and just comfortable situation. Byron very seamlessly shifted gears with me from this car to that or this topic or that! Bernardo is in finance and he was also prompt and great. Both men are more than efficient and qualified for their jobs!!All the staff was great in that they was unmoved by me having a very busy, curious, bored 7 year old. Snacks available for him and everything:) I will continue to go back!!

Not sure what happened to this place, but it s not even recognisable as the same dealership where i ve purchased 4 vehicles in the last 10 years. Not the fault of the employees on the floor, as they seem to be doing their best, but it s plain and obvious to see that upper management has either changed, or they ve paid poor attention to detail for over a year now. I will definitely not return to purchase a 5th car, as I just don t have the confidence in them anymore. It s a real shame, and it seems like the best people they have are not there anymore between visits, which tells me it s an upper management issue. Loyal customers don t like high turnover and constant changes to everything. It s very unsettling. Hopefully for their sake they ll take a cue and spend some time evaluating how they re developing their policies and procedures.

Service was horrible. Non-responsive, dishonest and completely devoid of any integrity. I traded in the car some time ago and this dealership continues to harass me. I get call after call from idiots wanting to buy my 2012 Hyundai and email after email. I've unsubscribed, I've called the dealership - nothing works. This is a really sloppy operation.

Edit: A response to my review was posted that said I would get a call within 24 hours. I did not. Additionally, I am still getting calls from the morons that work for Vandergriff offering to "buy back my 2012 Huyndai." Really, really sad how poorly this place is managed.

Hyundai has been pushing Genesis G80 and G90 through multiple channels, touting the vehicles are intuitively designed luxury. With all this hype of luxury and even on Genesis landing page, is the phrase, RESPECT COMES STANDARD, in all caps. Further down you read, Genesis Experience, At Your Service. True luxury is about the complete experience. Genesis is raising the level of personalized attention that consumers would expect from brands like BMW, Mercedes and Lexus.

In early 2016, I purchased a new Genesis, trading in a luxury car. Purchasing a vehicle with a MSRP of $50K plus, there are certain levels of expectations. Not just closing the deal, but with the service department for scheduled maintenance. A brand that brags of luxury and service, needs to live up to these expectations. Easier said than done, as is the case with Vandergriff Hyundai who sells and services the Genesis brand.

My recent experiences with this dealerships service departments staff and management has left me deflated with all the hype Genesis has put in front of us and what this brand is supposed to stand for. I bought into it, not just for the vehicle, but the promises of a complete experience that's advertised. Instead, what I got was an over-sized Hyundai with a plastic $50K Genesis emblem affixed to it, maintained by a service department straight out of a slapstick movie. If New Deal used car lot in the 1980 movie Used Cars had a service department, you d think it s a replica of Vandergriff s.

Dealing with them since December of 2016; I ve come to the realization that the high turnover staff seem incompetent, lack sense of urgency, are inattentive, doesn t understand customer service and will say things on the fly that are false or make absolutely no sense. The manager seems beyond the point of being able to manage or control this department that is plagued with issues. Just read some of the other reviews on the web, I wish I had found them before coming here.

My recent and final visit was for an oil change and a tire rotation that would be complimentary. While checking my Genesis in, I showed the coupon on my phone to the service advisor and said I would like to get the complementary rotation with my oil change. His response, okay.

When it was time to check out, the bill was $80 plus, which seemed high for an oil change and complimentary tire rotation. Normally I pay $70 plus for both. I told the cashier it seemed incorrect. Already weary from my last negative visit and getting word from another Genesis customer about inaccuracies here, things just went downhill from here. After getting the manager involved, going back and forth with him and his staff, I got the following: 1.) In the past I was being charged for 6 qts of oil, but today I am paying for 8 qts. What? I was assured that I ve been getting 8 qts in the past, but they ve just been charging for 6 qts. Right. SMH 2.) One employee informed me prices of oil change all the time. Are their prices changed daily based on what OPEC does? 3.) After realizing they charged me for the tire rotation, the adviser, paraphrasing here, says I either I didn t tell him I wanted to use the coupon and/or I was supposed to print it. So now it s my fault that I was charged. Deflecting his lack of listening skills? I literally lost it, I blew up with them and the whole situation and had a few choice words. Then letting them know I wouldn t be back. The manager yells at me, paraphrasing, Good! In fact, you don t even have to pay! You can get out and don t come back!

I think I was just served the Genesis complete experience, with true luxury. Genesis, there are too many other competitors that not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. While I truly believed in this brand and enjoyed my Genesis; unfortunately I will not be purchasing any more of your products and you can thank Vandergriff Hyundai for that debacle.

If you are in need of a new car, go to Vandergriff Hyundai and ask for D Angelo. He was very helpful and very informative and also very very patient. He wants to make sure you are completely happy whichever route you take. I also worked with Finance Manager Darius, who is very funny and welcoming. They make a great team together. If you are looking for a car and want to be treated with respect and not just a check, definitely stop by Vandergriff Hyundai. I promise you will not regret it!!

Absolutely would NOT recommend for so many reasons. Every single aspect of this experience was negative. First off, hector the "manager" didn't want to work with us on price. We were going to be buying two cars cash. They lost a sale on 2 vehicles becauae they wouldn't go down 1000 dollars
He was rude to us and looked down on us because we wouldn't finance.
The guys dont put accurate pricing online. they put an artificially low price online which they jack up when you actually get there and reach the financing part of the process. I paid cash for the vehicle that I decided to go back and purchase which should have been a very simple process but they made it unnecessarily difficult. I also was not told during the original negotiation process that the car I went back to purchase had been previously wrecked. If i had, I would not have gone back to buy it.
They are slow in getting your vehicle to you. They told me it would be ready in 3 hours. I went back with title and keys in hand to trade in after about 6 hours. they told me, oh sorry it's not ready and won't be until tomorrow
I waited until 4 pm the next day and just felt in my heart that I needed to cancel the transaction. Miraculously when I called the car was finally ready! And it had been for several hours but no one had bothered to tell me. They blamed the salesguy who claimed he was too busy to tell me but at that point if they are supposedly "managers" and a "team" someone, really ANYONE, should have taken it upon themselves to inform their customer the car they paid thousands of dollars for was ready for pick up. But that still wasn't enough I was done dealing with these people, but little did I know even a month later, they are still a thorn in my side. They wanted me to speak to a manager before cancelling.
They called me a liar when I told them that I was told to go back in 3 hours the day before by the salesguy. I said why would I go back with keys and title when I specifically had told them I didn't want to make several trips. I would have been fine with waiting had I only been told it wouldn't have been ready until the next day but of course they wasted my time yet again.
All of these problems sent so many red flags that I decided to cancel the transaction. I never even picked up my car. They still cashed my check anyways and I had to go pick up a paper check. So yet again another unnecessary trip.
They lost the title to my car I was going to trade in. It's been a month or so, still no title in the mail like I was told would be mailed out to me the next day. They said they would pay me back for having to go get a lost title from the dmv but why though? Why is their staff so incapable of getting ANYTHING right?!?!
It really should not have been this difficult. I have not had time to go get one and plan to sell this car and yet again more time wasted because of their incompetence. I would just say a little word of advice. Go to another dealership. You will save yourself so many headaches and find a better vehicle like I did. I couldn't have imagined if something had actually happened to the car I was purchasing and having to deal with these people again. I am however VERY happy I waited and now my husband and I BOTH have two new cash paid vehicles, a Nissan Altima and for me a Chevrolet Suburban. They are both much nicer and upgraded vehicles than the Hyundai Elantra and Dodge Grand Caravan we were originally interested in. No thanks to Vandergriff Hyundai!

Whatever you do, avoid this dealership at all cost...

Whatever you do, avoid this dealership at all costs. I happened to find my dream car here, but from the moment you sign the contract and hand them a check, they care nothing about you as a customer. No communication about what s going on with your car, from employees or management. And then they will keep your car from you and not communicate what s going on even though the parts they re waiting on, won t be in house till months later. Even though you ve paid for a car and haven t even gotten to have it in your possession for a week and probably longer if you wouldn t have said anything. Oh and not only that, when they deliver, they ll park the car right in the middle of your front yard, when you have a perfectly good driveway on the side of your house. My experience with them has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had, and if you want to be cared about as a valued customer who spends their hard earned money, I suggest you shop somewhere else. The manager and sales person to avoid would be chantel and hector.

Called the other day to verify the price I saw online was correct and that the car was in stock. Drove out of my way to visit this location for that price. When I get there the price they quote me is thousands of dollars more. They were unable to go anywhere close to their online price resulting in a massive waste of my time coming here.

Worked with Mike Mullen for a deal on Hyundai Elentra Y2019 SEL. We made this deal where he clearly mentioned that he has agreed for out the door price was as cash deal.

When he start working on the paperwork he changed the price and mentioned that the price is with finanncing.

I will not recommend any person buying car from this dealership with this type of unethical and dishonest dealing.

I had another friend who came to buy the car the same day and decided not to buy as well. Hyundai lost two customers today.

They have a big selection, which is why we came to Vandergriff. I couldn t find the car I wanted elsewhere. The hard sell was in full glory, and I had to ask them three times to bring me an offer without the dealer markup post-sale warranties. They also didn t match, or didn t want to match their own internet posted price with discounts. Promised me the floor model, then decided I couldn t have it, or not without a lot of hassle. I relented and took the lot car with 185 miles on it. Still doesn t sit well with me. Finance pushed the warranties again. It took 4.5 hrs to complete the purchase even though I prequalified before I got there and knew exactly which car I wanted. I walked away liking my car, but can t help but feel like I didn t get a fair shake. I hope the service department is improved over the sales department. Only time will tell I suppose!

Fabian was more than amazing. I did have to wait a day for the service to be done, but that's completely understandable. Fabian did call me to tell me that service was done on Saturday, but I was not able to pick it up that day so Fabian offered to hold the car till Monday, today, and that fitted my schedule much more.
