Charged over $100 for a diagnostic, and couldn't tell me what was actually wrong with my Jeep. I told them when I showed up the #1 cylinder was misfiring. They gave me two estimates. One for over $1,600 and one for over $3,000. But that may or may not fix it. Won't be going back. Stay away. While I was there Urse tried to get a guy to pay $300 on a brand new truck (had it 2 weeks), for a back up censer that wasn't working properly.

The following is a complaint about service received at the Urse Fairmont location. This was the only email address I could find for the service department. If this is not the right contact for this, please forward to the right department. Thanks.

My wife needed an oil change on her 2013 Fiat 500 Abarth. She also has a "check engine" light on. I suggested that she make an appointment for the oil change at our local Chrysler dealership, which happens to be Urse in Fairmont. The appointment was confirmed for 8:30am this morning, and she had me take the car in because she had to be at work. I arrived at 8:30 and parked the car in the parking lot by the service bays, and walked up to the service desk. After explaining that I was here for a scheduled oil change, they asked me to drive the car into the garage/bay with the desks in it, so I did.

The person who met me gave me a quote of over $100 for just the oil change and "free" inspection, which seems extremely high considering the car's oil capacity is just 4 quarts, but I agreed to the quote. Furthermore I was informed that the check engine light could not be read or cleared since this was not a Fiat dealership (which was kind of annoying) I was told it would be 30 minutes and I may wait in the waiting room or at McDonalds or Walmart. I went to McDonalds for coffee. After an hour had passed, I walked back over to the waiting room, hoping I didn't miss the "car is ready" call. After 90 minutes had passed, I walked down to the service counter to ask what was up.

The desk guy told me "sorry, it's really hard to change the oil on that car, it's taking them a while."

This was very suspicious. I have changed the oil on this car MYSELF before. It takes 15 minutes. There's nothing "hard" about it. There's no special tools required. You have to remove the intake air hose with a regular screwdriver to get to the filter, that's it. So I explained to him that there's nothing HARD about changing the oil on the car - then he changed his answer to "well they don't like working on Fiats. They really hate working on Fiats." Oh, so you were just planning on lying to me about why it was taking so long, assuming I didn't know how much work is required to change the oil on the car?

Meanwhile lots of other people (who arrived after me) were picking their cars up from having their oil changed.

So it's clear that I ended up waiting almost 2 hours for the oil to be changed, just because nobody at the shop wanted to spend the 20 minutes it takes to change the oil on my wife's car, because it's a Fiat. Not because it requires special skills or tools or knowledge. Other cars were serviced out of order to avoid working on mine, even though I was quoted 30 minutes. This is really awful and unacceptable. I don't personally own a Chrysler/Fiat/Jeep/etc (this is my wife's car), but you better believe I'll let all of my American-car-owning friends to stay far away from this place to get service done.

The actual cost ended up being less than the quote, but still much more than I would have been willing to spend if I had known it was going to take 2 hours and not be able to read or clear the check engine light.

I suggest you address these issues in the future.

My husband and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service and experience we had with Urse. We had problems with the first car we purchased from them and they did everything above and beyond what we expected to make it right. I would definitely return to this dealership!

Amanda took great care of me. I purchased a vehicle from out of state and she did an excellent job of keeping me informed and letting me know where we were in the process. I would definitely by another vehicle from Urse.

We only intended on test driving a few vehicles but, Jason Dukich found the perfect car for us in a matter of minutes. Not only did he understand our desires in a new vehicle but, he understood our financial limits and went above and beyond to help us lease our new vehicle. He was extremely helpful and very informative. We had shopped at a few other locations and weren't pleased with the service we had received. Jason Dukich at Urse in Fairmont was a breath of fresh air. I will definitely only visit Urse and Jason for all our future purchases. Not only was sales amazing but finance was too. Best experience we have ever had buying/leasing a new vehicle. I will tell everyone about the service we received. I highly recommend these fellows and Urse.

I was surprised at the help n patience I received at Urse Dodge Jeep Ram. Not knowing what I wanted, and took a few hours to choose. They went beyond there duty and finished the sales of two vehicals, even stayed an extra 2 hours after closing time.

Car Buyers Beware!!!! These people are the MOST dishonest, uncaring, and GREEDY car dealership in WV possibly the whole east coast! Purchased a vehicle from them and will never buy another. From the sales men and women, to the service department, and management you all should be ashamed of how you treat your customers especially being in a small community. I WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE LOOKING TO BUY A CAR OR EVEN GETTING YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED GO ELSEWHERE! Save your time, mental health, and money DON'T SPEND IT AT ANY URSE FAMILY OWNED DEALERSHIPS!

The service department SUCKS! I was told on 7/19 my 4 cylinder Jeep had two blown head gaskets ( a 4 cylinder only has one head gasket) and possibly a cracked block and given an estimate for $7500. Took the vehicle to another dealership who is doing a goodwill/good faith repair to fix the REAL issue that Urse did not fix the previous July when it was still covered under manufactures warranty. My Rating - Negative 5 stars

I will not return to Urse Dodge for any service to my vehicles nor will I ever purchase a vehicle from them. Over $1700.00 in repair costs and the original problem was not resolved. I called to schedule service for the identical problem the next morning and could not get it in for two weeks. The estimate was $3200.00. $1700.00 to not fix it properly the first time? I was not going to trust them to repair it a second time.

I gave them a gold star simply so I could post this review.

Very disappointed in the amount of time (5 days) it took just to get an answer on what they found with my truck. Promised phone calls, that didn t come, to provide a status multiple times. Called on a Saturday and was told my technician wasn t there and they had no information on what was going on with my vehicle and I would have to call back on Monday. Technician was very apologetic once we spoke but based on my overall experience I will likely not use this dealership service department again.

I've had 3 different vehicles serviced at Urse and have nothing but nice things to say about the service dept. Courteous, respond to phone calls with good information, and have treated me fairly over the years.

The service was fast, they explained my insurance and repair in full details, I couldn't even tell they worked on my Jeep that's how clean they was, the sevice department called when they was finished, they said they would stay late so I could pick it up, they offered me a ride to the dealership, I will always take my jeep thier, they even offered a rental car if I needed one , they explain my warranty and insurance, they was fast and honest, they even checked all fluids before I picked up my Jeep, great service, and respectful service.

From the start of service until I pick up my truck, everyone was very friendly, understanding and explained every step of the way including pricing. When I got my truck back there was a small issue with the start up, the service tech heard it and came directly out of the garage to help me immediately. Within just a couple of minutes it was s from the start a bus service until I pick up my truck, everyone was very friendly, understanding and explained every step of the way including pricing. When I got my truck back there was a small issue with the start up, the service tech heard it and came directly out of the garage to help me immediately. Within just a couple of minutes it was fixed.

The bottom line estimated cost was actually less then originally estimated which always make somebody happy.

If you deal with anyone, make sure it s Andrew Hartley. He worked patiently by my side for hours. I went in at 11 am, and I left at 4:15 pm. I walked in without knowledge of how things worked with trading in a vehicle, and walked out with a clear understanding. Andrew and Donnie helped me tremendously, and fought extremely hard to make sure they could put me into a brand new vehicle. I felt like a friend, and not some commission check.

Knew what I was looking for. Let me test drive back to my home to see if the vehicle was a for for my family. The entire family actually rode back to the dealership. We began the process of buying the vehicle. From start to finish, it was a rather timely process. In the words of my 8 year old, "it's perfect".

Overall, had a great experience at Urse. They had the vehicle I wanted, Joe Walls explained everything to us and got us the deal we wanted. My only complaint was the financing portion. After we agreed to a deal, it was about 1.5 to 2 hours before we saw anyone to sign papers. I assume the banks were slow to respond due to the ongoing pandemic, but I also question the multiple times the finance man and manager went outside to smoke. I would recommend Urse if you're in the market for a vehicle.

I had so much trouble even getting started with my car shopping with so many different dealerships. Being a 20 year old, full time college student, with a part time job made it extremely hard to find someone who was willing to work with me and help me find a good vehicle for a good deal. The people here helped me find my new car and the best deal I couldve Gotten. I absolutely love my car and am so thankful for their help! They went above and beyond for me! Thank y all so much!

My fiance and I were looking to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee yesterday. We went to Country Club Chrysler first just because it was closer to home. Little did we know how poorly we would be treated. Ron the Sales Manager was extremely disrespectful to us. They did not want to meet the price we needed. Ron kept saying I was unrealistic/wrong on everything I said. So we walked out saying we are going to Urse, he didn t care. We called Urse on our way there and explained what vehicle we were looking at and that we would need some numbers figured out. Joe, who had answered the phone was more than willing to do this for us. When we finally got there, we walked into a completely different environment than we previously did. Everyone was very inviting, outgoing and willing to help. After the excellent teamwork of Joe, who actually ended up being our salesman, Derek and Weldon we were able to achieve our budget and had a great time while doing so! We could not be happier with our experience at Urse and would highly recommend it to anyone!

The service advisors were so friendly, knowledgeable, and on top of things. They were all in great moods, smiling, and made you feel good. I didn't have an appointment but they weren't bothered or put out by that-- they just worked me in. The service mechanic took the extra time to cover seat and floor and done a superb job-- very efficient and thorough. I will use this business again! Made you feel appreciated for your business and not like they were doing you the favor.

My van broke down back in March, and it turned out to be the engine. It was covered under warranty, so I had it towed to Urse Dodge in Fairmont. They scheduled me in for the following week. I continuously called to check the status of my van over the following weeks, and was told every time that I called that there was an issue, they were backed up, They were waiting for parts, etc. I had a voicemail on my phone stating that the parts were all in and to expect it to be finished within one weeks time. Never heard back.. so I called one week later and was told they were still waiting on my parts. That as after five weeks of my van sitting on their lot. I was polite on the phone, and told them just to call me when it was done... they called two weeks later! My van sat on their lot for SEVEN weeks!!!!!!!! To say that I was irritated would be an understatement! We will never have a vehicle serviced there again!

Don t buy here. They advertise one price online. When you show up they try to charge you much more because the advertised price includes rebates so specific few would qualify for. Total Sham! Complete waste of time. Contacted Dodge to complain.

Really worked with us on price point and got us all the rebates and coupons off of our brand new dodge grand caravan they could. They did all of this with a smile and treated us with respect. They even called us a couple weeks later to make sure all was ok and told us not to hesitate to call them for anything. Highly recommend.

I took my Jeep to URSE in Fairmont for an oil change. Doug checked me and took care of everything- he s always a pleasure to see. My Jeep was ready in a timely manner and I was surprised to see Doug had thrown in a complimentary wash as well!

Appointment was for state inspection, winter maintenance service and check tire for leak. I was there on time for my 9:30 appointment. Shortly after they began servicing vehicle I was informed that leak was caused by nail. I confirmed I wanted it repaired. No further communication after that. I didn't get out of there till noon and that was only after I inquired about my vehicle. I considered wait time to be excessive.

Took my truck into shop for loss of power. Urse had it for 1wk. After they put 71 miles and 1/4 tank of fuel I was told it was fixed. I got my truck and camper and went up cooper's rock and was able to make it up with a total of 45 miles an hour. It only gets better! Called them back and they said to bring it back in. I decided to ask a local mechanic to have a look and within 2 minutes he found the problem. It was a $2.00 breeze band broke on the turbo. Please keep reading. I went back in and talked to the assistance service manager and he told me it would cost $349.00 for the part. No clue on labor. I doubt if they even raised the hood. Fixed it myself in less than 5 minutes. Worst mistake I ever made in buying a service contract with urse. I will never buy another vehicle or take another one in for service to them. Once you buy it your on your own. What a shame they treat their customers like this.

"Great Experience"

"Great Experience"

I recently purchased an Alfa Romeo Stelvio from this dealership. The car caught my eye as soon as my husband and I pulled onto the lot. We had some reservations at first because we were not familiar with this car brand and expected it to be way out of our price range. PJ Muscari was our salesperson and he was absolutely wonderful! He eased any anxiety by addressing concerns we had with regard to maintenance, warranty, etc. He also worked out a price that we were comfortable with. Before we drove it off the lot, he walked us through the entire car to ensure we knew where all the functions were. The longer I own this car, the more I love it!! I would recommend this dealership to anyone. Be sure to ask for PJ!

To be honest I was a little skeptical when going due to all the negative comments I have read. But when I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly staff member with a smile. He instantly started asking questions about my Jeep and what I wanted done during my visit. They did the maximum that was covered under my Jeep Wave then went over everything they did on the paperwork. My overall service was wonderful. I got a text saying if I needed anything during my wait to just ask. While in the waiting room other employees asked how I was & if I needed anything also. I look forward to coming back again.

Joe and Jason exceeded my expectations. I had just totaled my wrangler and was in a pinch and they completed everything over the phone and delivered my new one. Great price too. This was the best vehicle buying purchase my husband and I have ever experienced.

July 2020 Update - Just received my 2020 JL Willys Edition! Urse was awesome- they let me order my Jeep during the employee pricing event even though it came in after the event was over, they still honored the price. Received a great deal in my trade - they made it easy. This was my 4th vehicle from there and I ve always been treated top notch! I would definitely recommend Urse!

I would leave 0 stars if it was an option. terrible service department with techs that don't know much beyond changing oil. Service manager is not interested in dealing with issues caused by his techs. Be warned!! This dealer will likely damage your vehicle rather than fix it.

Purchased a 2021 Jeep Cherokee today at UDCJR and couldn t be happier. We are return customers and were very pleased with our sales experience. Big thanks to our Sales Associate Jaimie Markley. Very knowledgeable on the Jeep we purchased and was great to work with. Thanks also to the finance staff. Great experience overall. Highly recommend.

1/8/2020-When registering my vehicle at the service desk my Service advisor challenged me 3 times on using the Wave program that includes oil changes, inspection and tire rotation insisting I would have to pay for the tire rotation before he checked my Wave program records and found that I was correct that tire rotation is included.

After the services he did not give me the print out of the Multipoint Inspection but filed it under the counter. When I asked for a copy for my records he said the printer was broken. I insisted that I could take a picture of the existing printout that he had filed under the counter and he stated it was not filled out and I would have to wait to get it completed and printed out. Later looking at the maintenance guide print out it stated I declined most parts of the multi-point inspection.??? I had declined paying for the tire rotation. Was the 2 year/20000 mile multi-point inspection done? The state inspection, oil change and tire rotation look good. Perhaps this incident was a misunderstanding but was not a very pleasant service experience.

Update 1/17/2020:
I was called by Urse's Service Manager, Tim McLaughlin about my recent service experience and he apologized for the incidents and understood my concerns. Hopefully future dealings with Urse Jeep will be better. I appreciated the call back.

Would have given 5 stars but my multi-point inspection form was not in color so I dont know if anything is going bad on my car. I also wasn't informed if there was required maintenance due on my car, after asking. Meaning I will have to schedule another appointment. I gave 4 stars because of Doug and the other young man were very nice.

Worst service ever!!! I have to clean the inside of my Jeep every time I take it there because the service men are careless and leave grease hand prints on my light grey interior! They also ruined my tires because they overinflated them (35 is Max & they had 40 in all). Now they tell me that I need new tires because the tires are leaking around the bead! They also said it has 2016 tires on it yet it s a 2017 that I purchased brand new in the summer of 2017! I will never buy another vehicle from here again or have it serviced there.

Sales corrected an oversight at their expense. I've had three vehicles taken care of by them, two purchased. Joe Walls is quite honest and very helpful. The service department has done great work for me every time.
