You do NOT want to work here,not in Customer service or billing particularly. Horrible training, thenthey throw ya to the wolves. You don't even have your own desk, so anything you being to work, you have to take with you at the end of the day when you leave. It's pretty awful as an employer.
TWC certainly makes us miss Insight Communications. Insight was far from perfect, but they were head & shoulders above Time Warner in every category - especially customer service.
Ever since TWC bought out Insight, the quality of all their products has dropped and keeps on dropping. Their cable TV and Internet service both have more interruptions than we ever had with Insight and TWC is totally clueless whenever the service goes out. Call customer service about an outage and you get a computer that tells you there are no problems in your area - then you spend at least ten minutes (sometimes thirty!) on hold waiting to talk with a technician who tells you the computer says nothing is wrong but eventually says they will try to get it fixed "soon."
TWC fails to meet any of the contract standards supposedly required by their cable franchise agreement with Louisville Metro government (and, of course, the Metro Council doesn't care).
TWC has eliminated some of the services Insight provided (despite having told both customers and metro government that they would continue all the same services) and has increased the prices of most services that they still provide.
The ONLY good thing you can say about TWC is that _any_ cable TV & Internet service is better than satellite TV or DSL Internet service.
We have TWC "high speed" internet and it seems the speed has been steadily declining even though we are paying for the "Turbo". Also the price keep creeping up another $5/mo this month!!!
I have been set up for installation and post wire for a business account since the 5th of January. I cant believe how horrible the service is. Need post wire and we are unable to get someone that apparently is qualified to install this. There has been no contact made on the corporate level not through customer service. I have emailed and called every day since the 8th with no results. Here we are the 21st and they are telling me something completely different. Would not recommend this company. Will no longer refer clients to them or give them business!!! No stars at all had to put a 1 to post this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Disabled my email account after cancelling my TV. I got telemarketing calls 5-6 times a day for a month straight to try "Spectrum TV" until I reported it. Submitted a BBB case and they responded with no contact made even thought I responded to an email from my gmail account and talked to someone on the phone. Very shady company!!!! I highly do not recommend!
The worst company for customer service I highly recommend NO ONE get TWC Azure internet or cable provider they don't care about you! Terrible terrible terrible!
Has numerous problem with TWC since they took over Insight. Just a mess. No one cares, terrible service. HD TV quality is sucks. Interned speed fluctuated.
Not that I've ever had a good experience with time warner cable, but this takes the cake. I closed my account and not even three weeks later have a collection agency after me for the price of unreturned equipment. Spoke with time warner and they said there's nothing they can do bc the account is closed. Right. Now I'm getting calls all day and night to pay my debt. Finally am mad enough that twc says they will send a technician to obtain the equipment. Why wasn't that scheduled when I closed the account? Or even when I called about the debt? No options no notice nothing. Just a collection agency reporting on my credit report. I loathe this company and hope they are out of business soon.
There services are way over priced and the internet, I pay for the 30 meg extreme internet and it still lags and sometimes is unstable, seriously? $200 for cable, home phone and internet that is poor. I would kill if I could get a different service provider. They started me out at like $130, after a year its jacked to $200. They are con artists and thieves who have monopolized the cable service in Louisville, and they take full advantage of it.

Google told me they open at 10 there is no service there men were there laying flooring i live at North 42 went out there because I had a bad experience at the Southland Terrace store. Can't win for losing...
It's a shame this company has a monopoly on Louisville cable lines. I would really like to have Cable Internet but am forced to deal with 0 customer support and inconsistent service. The day this company leaves the city should be considered a holiday.
Great company! The employees were welcoming and friendly during my time at this office. The building is very nice with ample parking for the employees and visitors. Everything about it was professional and friendly.
I am supposedly a "business class" customer, but treated like a low class customer in a low class way. One may expect some higher level of service in "business class", but not at all with Time Warner. When I call I get sent thru an endless loop of being transferred and end up talking to the very first person who I spoke to only for them to say "I'm sorry but I cant help you, I will need to transfer you" and after another 30 minutes of punching in my phone # and zip code.....guess what....I end up right back with that person saying "I'm sorry but I cant help you, let me transfer you" over and over and over again. Also, amazingly, the customer support center for "business class" closes at 5 pm. Uh....FYI Time Warner....many businesses are doign business AFTER 5 pm and need support 24/7. What the <blank> else would there even BE a "business class" dept. for if not to serve the special needs of BUSINESSES??!! Time Warner runs their business AWFULLY and ever manager from the middle up to the CEO should be fired immediately. And some smart lawyer should consider filing a class action lawsuit to help recoup the thousands of hours customers have spent on the phone being jerked around.
Terrible customer service... took a whole hour for me to get to the right person to cancel my account. Extremely irresponsible in answering and directing calls...
Have had a relatively good experience with Spectrum. No big problems, and what few small problems there were, they dealt with them with a quickness.
To all the dumbasses complaining about prices spiking after a year: most of the promotional pricing ends after a year. They even say so in their ads. Don't complain about their service when you all clearly don't know how to pay attention.
The worst customer service. The bill is ever changing with the price going up and inaccurate billing. The product is terrible. Inconsistent signal with channels freezing and pixelating constantly. I've never had a good experience with this company. I'm online looking at ATT Uverse right now.
They say my son owes 288 dollars for a service that didn't work and we used zero data they say the wasnt told buth told them myself so they lie cheat and steal
Extremely poor service. Bill kept increasing and I would have to 'haggle' with account manager to renegotiate or I would take my business elsewhere. Phone app that would allow you to watch programs would always crash and make my phone freeze, has occurred on several phones. Could not give me a channel lineup for a boxless system nor was it published on their website, we had to hunt for channels. I was offered a $150 gift card for keeping my services. Went to claim and now I was told it could only be used as a credit against my bill...not what I was was originally told. Disconnected service and went on a SATURDAY to return equipment and guess what again...they are not open! Forget it Spectrum, your equipment is in the trash!
I recently experienced cable issues during the weekend. I will be without services until they re-open. I am eager to see how things will be handled once they are available to assist with my issues. I wonder if they pro-rate your bill for the time you are without your services??
They are awful. I don't know how they are in business with such shady billing practices! They literally bill whatever they want! You'll hold for 40 minutes trying to speak with someone and the internet is awful- barely runs one computer and no phones! Just so so bad!! Price-gouging, lying, sneaky business people. I called for service/installation on 5/25 and was told installation fee would be $44.95. The tech showed up today and I found out that the charge to install thru the attic would be $85 per jack. I told them to cancel and asked the tech, Erick, #03531, to leave. He did. About 30 min later, I closed my front door and noticed a folded cotton pad stuck in my door lock so that it would not close completely. I removed it and locked the door. When I tried to lock the dead bolt it all of a sudden won't turn! There has been no one in my house other than family and close friends for at least 2 months! BEWARE!
TWC should be ran out of town! After taking over Insight they started laying people off right and left! In all about 2000 good paying jobs were lost including mine! Why was this buyout allowed to happen in the first place? Regulators made a huge mistake letting it happen! I hope all the management that still have jobs get what's coming to them when the Comcast/Charter deal is finished! I hope they all lose their jobs! Uverse is finally available in my area so I switched. I couldn't stomach sending TWC another check for their shoddy service. IT'S TIME TO FIRE TIME WARNER CABLE!!!!!!!!!
Worst service ever. I paid my bill and the payment was refused and not on my banks part. Guess they don't know how to pay by check over the phone. Must of put it in wrong. Then they tried 3 more times to put the check through and it kept coming back. Trying to blame it on my bank and it was not my banks fault and there was money in the account. TERRIBLE customer service. This is not the first time they have done this to me. Now they restricted my payment over the phone. Well I am done with them.
Time Warner is a horrible company and I man that in every sense of the word. I had my internet installed over a month ago. The technician lied to me stating that the cable line he laid across my lawn would be buried in 3 to 5 days, 7 days later and wasn't buried. I called back in and was told it takes 30 days for the line to get buried because the lawn has to be marked for other lines already buried. I was lied to again and 33 days later it still isn't buried. I called them again and this time I asked for a supervisor. I was lied to stating the supervisor couldn't take the call but will call me tomorrow ( knowing a supervisor was never approached and I was just put on hold for a few minutes. I know this is true because a friend of mine just quit their support line and told me they are told not to get a supervisor). this is where it has been left and still my cable lays across my lawn and still not buried. Like I said a horrible company. My opinion go with dish network or directv, this company will give you nothing but problems.
We had extensive trouble changing over from Insight to TWC when the change first occurred. Problems went on until all but one household member switched to gmail accounts. Cable problems take much longer to correct than when we had Insight. There have been other issues as well.
Terrible company, terrible service. Only reason I kept it for so long was because I kept waiting for google fiber, but now that they are not coming to Louisville, I canceled the first chance I got.
I paid my bill to get service back on. Was lied to about how much to pay. Never got service back on. Call made arrangements to reconnect. They sent out a tech and then told me u could not get service unless paid another 150 dollars. This is crazy no one knows what is going on from person to person. By far have never had this much trouble with a company ever. Paid all this money to sit empty handed. By far pissed off. Go back to insight. All of us are unhappy with this service.
My experience with TWC to date has been exceptional. They have been responsive to all my requests and needs and I did not expect any differently from them. Every rep I have dealt with is not only pleasant and professional but extremely efficient and effective as well. Given the choice between TWC and ATT that is, as my S.O. says, a no-brainer. TWC actually does have compassion and empathy for their customers and does try to make their relationship work. ATT will spit in your face. Go with TWC - at least you have a fighting chance with them. ATT does not even have a conscience and has another $14 trial customer ready to take your place when you drop off the face of the earth.
This company gets worse by the minute. I can't wait for Google Fiber to get in here. I run a marketing firm and despite communicating every aspect of my home or office setup, they always blame the equipment. It is always their lines going down, ping times going through the roof, speeds being inconsistent, etc. I can't even begin to tell you how much pain and hardship this company has caused me both personally and professionally.
I had the internet service and cable tv through TWC and I have now cancelled them both. I have gotten shoddy service, long wait times on the phone, and poor customer service. I now have DirectTV and AT&T. My internet speed test registered at 2Mbps with TWC and 12.5Mbps with AT&T. Both of my new services combined is much less than TWC!
Turned in my boxes and remotes in July. Charged me for the following three months stating I didn't specifically say I was canceling, which I did. Regardless, it doesn't take much common sense to figure out someone is getting rid of TWC when they turn in every piece of equipment. They have called me literally 100 times. If I could rate a zero, I would.

I just wanted a fax machine so I had to call to get a phone line ..from day one this is been a disaster... I have rabbit ears for my TV .. Charging me for TV Cable.. When the service installer came told him the same thing. he calls the company supposedly to get it correct. Talk to someone a month ago supposedly to get it right. It is now March 31 2017.. BEEN talking about this since February 9 2017.. This company is a joke... Leaving on the line over 30 and 40 minutes.. Never wanted cable, charging me for cable.. Talk to this company over three times this is absolutely unacceptable.. Never had a DVR never wanted a DVR never wanted cable.. Wherever your customer service is this needs to be corrected immediately... Needs to be madness stars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
went to westport rd. store to return modem, 6 people on staff sitting around only 1 person manning the desk.i waited 15 minutes i was 13 th in line and i left because the line hadn't moved or anyone offered to help the next person . Hire more people so the can live the good life.
The reason I am giving this company a 5-star rating is because of a wonderful individual at this company. There is a woman named Jessica she sits at the front and security she has a beautiful smile. Excellent customer service. Great conversation. And she is professional, she definitely needs to be promoted .....
Really had a bad experience with TWC, when I moved my insight internet they told me everything especially the price will keep the same, but the first month I got the bill from TWC, my price was doubled. Have to call in to explain to several person about this, and the phone service is really hard to reach any person. And in September I add the TV, the online service told me my internet+TV monthly fee is $80 including everything,but the first bill I got for that month is $264, what a crazy price?! Have to call in again ask why and I was told the guy who told me $80 was wrong and They cannot honor his words, I don't want to be rude, but is this a company to do business? You are kidding the customers on price? Anyway, I don't want to use Time Warner Cable anymore and I don't recommend this company to anyone thinking about Internet and TV.

probably the worse cable provider. 80 dollars a month for 15mb internet if you dont bundle their crappy services. i really wish we could get uverse where we live. i would give -5 stars if it was possible
Fraud -- Sales Rep came to my house - left and set up an account in my name. Dropped off equipment (did not knock on the door) and now billing me for it.
When Time Warner took over insight in the area, our rates went from $34.99 for standard internet only, to $54.95 without notice. When I saw the bill, I called immediately and they apologized and credited the difference. When the next bill came it was right back to $54.95. I have been lied to and mistreated by their customer service repeatedly. I don't even use my home internet anymore, I just use my cell service because Sprint doesn't make me feel like a victim of Data Rape.
Time Warner seems to charge different amounts to different people. I was leaving to go to AT&T and they lowered my bill. They also gave me a couple of months free. I know other people who are paying more than I am. It depends on whether you upgrade to a higher speed. They upgraded my speed and I am able to get Netflix with no problem. So if you seriously are leaving, they will work with you and lower your bill. I don't think that is good business for those paying a higher cost though.
High Definition channels digitizing occasionally. Cable phone and TV went completely out three times in the last 5 months for about 12 hours each time. Would not recommend.
I called TWC to cancel my internet & cable service 3 wks ago. Was given the option of having all equipment picked up or dropping it off at the TWC office. I chose to have it picked up so I could be assured that they get everything & I wouldn't get charged for a forgotten cord. Set up day & time for it to be picked up 1 1/2 wks later. That day came & TWC never showed. I called 2 days later & was told they had called at 8:30 pm to pick up equipment 5 days BEFORE the scheduled day they were to come. They didn't receive an answer therefore they didn't come or bother to leave a message notifying me that they wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day. Then the TWC customer service lady proceeded to tell me that it was not common to have equipment picked up at my home & it was preferred for me to bring the equipment to a TWC office. I asked her why the original lady had asked if I wanted it picked up from my home if this wasn't common practice. She wasn't interested in answering my question. So yesterday my husband & I loaded up our equipment & drove across town to the Commerce Crossing location to return our equipment. When we got there the doors are locked. We're confused because the parking lot spaces are labeled visitor but apparently you can't enter at this location? A woman comes outside to ask us what we need. We are holding 2 huge cable receivers in our hands & a router & many cords & remotes. I would have assumed our intent was obvious. I guess not. SO we proceed to tell her the equipment was supposed to be picked up-which never happened-& we were there to return our equipment. She directed us to a drop box around the corner. She said to drop everything in there. My husband & I were very hesitant. How would everything be credited back to our account? We asked the lady & she said the box was cleared out nightly & the serial numbers would be scanned & it would come right off our account. She said to call in the morning to be certain everything was received. So I just called & the TWC customer service rep acted shocked & almost appalled that I put the equipment in the drop box instead of taking it to another location & getting a receipt for the equipment. I DIDN"T KNOW THIS WAS AN OPTION!! If that drop box was not the preferred method to return equipment then why does the drop box exist and why didn't the lady who came out of the TWC building tell us? I am so sick of the fiasco of getting this equipment returned that I could scream. SO I was told this morning that it could take 3-5 days to process the returned equipment & if they can't 'find it' then they will open an investigation to try to find the equipment. I have done everything in my power to get this equipment returned. I have heard horror stories of getting hit with charges for this equipment & I think I've figured out why. This process has been a nightmare. I would never return to TWC due to this process. Here's a suggestion-don't expect your customers to be Sherlock Holmes. Provide instructions with addresses & phone numbers to return equipment! It seems that this would be common sense unless it is that your company is in fact trying to confuse the process in order to garner extra FRAUDULENT fees.
By far THEE WORST INTERNET "PROVIDER" EVER!!!! And I say provider loosely because I am supposed to be PROVIDED with WIFI and can barely get any internet pages loaded. Who has the time to keep rebooting and calling customer service? AND then you are expected to pay???? FAILURE. ZERO STARS!!! Only reason I am back with them is because I couldn't transfer my ATT services in this area and TWC (TERRIBLE WIFI ) were my only option. PISSED
Another poor decision in using Time Warner. I moved in early June and bought one of the ready to use wifi modems. Tough to install first...I think a group of circus monkeys would be better than their customer service group. Well after 2 days they figured out to send signal to my equipment. Well today is 6/29 and I have no internet. I call them and they have that my account was never activated...this after using it for almost 30 days! Needless to say I just switched to U verse. Hopefully this joke of a company named Time Warner loses their ass and stockholders lose money by investing in these idiots.
The TWC email program (TWC Mail or TWC Web Mail) is terrible & Time Warner does not seem to care. It is getting slower & slower. It often crashes or just locks up when using it. It does not have the ability to archive important emails to CD or flash drive. Last summer when they were having technical problems, they deleted some very important emails. They took no responsibility for the problem. Years ago it worked OK, but is getting worse each month. I would switch to another email program but I understand that I would need to change my email address. That would be a major job since I've used this email address for a long time & don't want to contact everyone about the change. THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT TWC DOESN'T CARE ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS.
The customer service is anything but. I wanted to return some equipment and the address was not listed on the internet. Another address was listed and it WAS THE WRONG ADDRESS. When I finally talked to a real person, he argued with me and said I didn't do it right. I will never do business with this company again
Slow internet, customer service is no help. I have compared prices to companies like Comcast and they are cheaper (not much, just a little bit). I just wish these companies didn't have an oligopoly so maybe there would be more consumer choice and better prices. Our internet goes out at least 3 times a day, got a new router, still goes out. Everything about this is just terrible and I wish I had better choice on who to get my internet from.
This company was considerably better when it was Insight. Their phone agents give incorrect information time and again that the field techs dispute but you are making decisions on your account based on what the phone agents are telling you. This often causes hours and hours of headache to try to work through the issue, find out the phone agent was wrong and good luck getting back to where you started. We pay for something like 30M internet service yet our computers crawl using this service and work great at other locations, yet Time Warner can't seem to figure it out. And again, good luck when they do come out because they always seem to break something new.
The most incompetent business i've ever had to deal with no wonder they keep changing names to hide from their horrible reputation and sadly the competition is just as bad
I would not give TWC a star if it were an option. This has to be worse company ever created from their product line, prices, customer service, etc. If I wasn't forced to go through this company, my apartment has an exclusive contract with them, I wouldn't. I honestly think if they did not have business accounts there would be no way this company could keep their lights on. Anyone who had options would rather be tortured by Jigsaw than to deal with them. Please someone who is considering getting services through TWC listen to my warning. Save yourself the headache and frustration by picking another cable/internet/phone company.
I would give Time Warner less of a score if I could. WORST cable company EVER!!!!!!! They just put you in a package that will go up with not informing the customer to help or make them happy. So get ready everyone for more problems from them and your bill to go up, plus when you call their customer service SUCKS! Ours went up $20 more for the same package we had.
If they had a 0, that would be my ranking. I had Insight and they took over. They didn't show up for repair work and the internet never worked. The phone was no better. They then sent techs that had no idea what they were doing. They billed me for services I never even subscribed to-I am part of the Class Action Lawsuit against them. RUN if they send you one of their promo things. Anybody beats them.
One star is too high. Negative 5 stars. Two appointments with no shows. The "tracking app" said he'd arrived at 2pm for his 1-2 pm window. Never happened. I'd taken off work twice to meet. Help number useless.
this is the worst company ever they deserve no star's I moved and they didn't come on the date they were supposed to have came they said they were calling the house phone and got no answer so why would you call a number that your coming to hook up they never called my cell phone now there saying 4 or 5 days before they can come out IF YOU MOVE GOOD LUCK......I Will Keep My Direct TV........
I have had TWC service in North Carolina, New York and now in Kentucky. None of the experiences with TWC were pro customer. I have to reset my router daily if not numerous times daily and a recent service call to correct the problem was not helpful. During peak times my "high speed" will slow to where pages will fail to load. I miss Insight and their provider service and customer service. Prior to TWC purchasing Insight I did not have these problems. I will be moving out of TWC's service area soon and will not miss their expensive monoploized service. Good luck to those of you stuck with their internet service.
