I won't be back. Charged for a diagnostic and told it would be applied to work; not true. Told the battery was bad when they couldn't find the problem; again-not true. Wasted 2 days and $150 and still have no solution to the problem. Once they saw there was no more money to bilk out of me, started to handle other customers while I stood there waiting 15 minutes for my keys to leave. Piss poor customer service. Utterly ridiculous. I give them 2 stars because the initial check in process was speedy and Steven was accommodating, however it was downhill from there.

Found this dealership online when we went to Flori...

Found this dealership online when we went to Florida. I knew I would be in need of an oil change and didn't want to wait till we got back to PA. This dealership was soooooo nice!! They told us about their Express service on the phone so all we had to do was drive up and they took care of the rest. Not only did they service my vehicle, but addressed a recall for me and I didn't even ask them to do that!! I highly recommend this dealership if you are ever in the Orlando area. They were very nice to deal with!

Elsie Martinez gives 5 Star service. My Brand new Ford Explorer's AC stopped working properly while on vacation here in FL. Elsie did her best to assist me with my issue. It was a Saturday, the part was not in stock, only rental available couldn't accommodate my traveling luggage & my next destination was over an hour away, so my problem was not resolved hence 4 stars not 5.

After going to 3 more dealerships, and being treated like no one, Jonathan Mella @ tropical Ford gave me hope for a new car, when i was only going to find out for a used one. The happy ending of the story, was that with his positivism and charismatic sold me a brand new car. I will never forget what he did.

I will take a bus before I ever buy from this dealership again. Everything is fine and well when they are trying to sell you a car, but as soon as you drive the car off the lot, they will not return your calls act as if you don't exist.

Their service department is atrocious. They will tell you that you can have your car back in 2 days, and finally a week later, you might get it back. We had service done on the convertible top, and when they were installing it, they broke it. So they had our car for another week.

I will drive halfway across town to another dealership service department if I ever need service again. if you are considering going to this dealership, you would be better served going to any other Ford dealership in town. There are a dozen Ford dealerships in the area. Do not pick this one. (This is a revised review, posted after I was unfortunate enough to have need of their service department.)

My wife and I were in Orlando for a conference and I lost the transmission on my 2010 F150. We had it towed to Tropical ford late on a Saturday afternoon. Carlos took my truck in and promised to get a diagnosis and call me on Monday. He called me with the diagnosis and an estimate for repair. Unfortunately, it was the end of my beloved truck. Carlos introduced us o Vitali. They were very understanding to our situation and Vitali was able to find a great deal on a used F150. It was one of the easiest deals I have ever done and felt I was treated fairly and informed from day one. We will definitely be back to Tropical for other car purchases. We live too far away to utilize their service department but I was very happy with the way they treated me as well.

Overall was great. A little annoyed it took 2 hours to program a key and pull a door code. Recently purchased a used Fusion, and needed these things. Not sure if I'll make this my go to Ford Dealer.

Worst experience ever, recently went to enquire about the new f150. Had almost signed the paperwork on a ecodiesel ram but pulled back because of the reviews on the engine. When I got there, all the sales person kept asking me was if I had ever financed a car before. I am 25, one of my cars is paid off and have a loan on the second one. When I asked to see an ecoboost 4 door, he grabbed the keys for a 2 door v8. Then while asking him some questions he answered his phone. Not sure how this dealer handles business but I have been in sales my whole life and I would never buy a car from him or that dealer. To top it off when I asked about the platinum sitting in the corner he assumed I couldn't afford it. Too bad he doesn't know last year I made close to 70k. Will go buy my truck from mullinux ford in apoka. Really digusted by the experience.

I usually service my car here with no major issues to complain
However on Saturday Mach 12 2016 my experience was different.

I called and spoke with a staff advising that I needed to have something check on my car.
Up on arriving there was no one in the quick lane so I went to the service lobby and spoke to a gentleman. He advised that I wait on the gentleman that I spoke with on the the phone whom he went in search of. When the gentleman came he proceed to speak with two persons who came in after I did.

His conversations understandingly lengthly. I stood there waited and waited, I eventually got frustrated and left.

I went to tropical ford tonight with my ideal car in mind and not really wanting to be persuaded otherwise. Johnny Perez approached me and was very friendly and attentive. I let him know the car I had in mind and we checked out what they had on site. He didn t try to force me to test drive a car that I wasn t interested in or upsell features when that s not what I care about. Johnny was very knowledgeable about the product and very respectful of my wants. He was honest with me about what they had and didn t. We ran my current car carfaxs and he gave me great tips on other options. He wasn t your typical car salesmen. He gave it to me straight and gave me advice on other dealerships and websites to keep in mind. He made me want to buy a car from him! I would have if they had the exact car I wanted in manual and if my trade in value was a little higher. I highly recommend tropical ford and for the soul purpose of Johnny Perez! Happy shopping.

The collision center does not give competitive rates. Overcharged me to repaint a bumper. Then tried to bill me 12 hours of labor for a simple dent repair. Representative had no explanation when confronted. Go elsewhere for simple cosmetic repairs or expect to pay dearly.

Underwhelming. Poor sales attempt followed by a time-shareesque attempt to warn us that if we were to sell our old car by ourselves the people who buy it might track us down to our house and how dangerous it is.

Honesty, just a weird and poor experience, especially compared against other dealerships we visited.

This was my first vehicle purchase from Tropical Ford. Previous I had delt with their parts department. I had always found them to be knowledgeable and helpful.
Jose Galvan was my sales representative for my first vehicle purchase. Even though it was a Sunday and not much staff he made me feel like the most important customer. Very polite, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He made sure that I was completely satisfied with my purchase. Never felt rushed or that I was a waste of his time.
From sale to financing it was the best car buying experience I have had.
I will recommend Tropical Ford.

I purchased a Ford Maintenance Contract when I bought my 2010 Ford Escape which provided all routine scheduled maintenance as per the service manual. Each time my Escape would required scheduled maintenance I brought it to Tropical Ford. I believed they performed all the services as per the service manual but boy was I wrong. Because the didn't perform all the required services (like check the transmission fluid) my transmission failed at 62000 miles.

Clearly if the transmission fluid had been checked at various scheduled maintenance intervals, the technician would have identified an issue and repairs or maintenance service would have been performed and the transmission would not have failed in less than 2,000 miles and 4 months later. Once again, if upon inspection, any parts, fluids, mechanical failures that occur will be covered free of charge by the Premium Care Extended Contract. Tropical Ford voided the contract by not supplying the appropriate services which led to the transmission failure. It is my opinion that Tropical Ford never wanted to perform regular scheduled maintenance on my 2010 Ford Escape because their dealership never received any of the money that I paid during the
purchase of the vehicle in December of 2009. In fact that is the very words I heard from not only the Tropical Ford Service manager but in fact Ford s Regional Service representative, during a phone conversation concerning the failure of the transmission, she was very honest and explained that Tropical Ford had no allegiance to me because I purchased the car and service plan from another dealer. They had to perform the scheduled maintenance because they were a Ford dealer but could not benefit from the work that needed to be performed. The income from the Premium Care Extended Contract went directly to
Ford. This is also why the Tropical Ford Service Manager told me face to face that I never spent a dime at their facility and this of course explains why many of the required services were never performed at the
various service intervals. Tropical Ford never performed many of the required service maintenance items which directly led to the failure of the transmission and they should be held liable for the cost of the transmission. Tropical Ford is clearly in breach of the Premium Care
Extended Contract I had with Ford and as a Ford Dealership they should be held accountable for failure of the transmission. I paid $1,160.85 to Ford to maintain my vehicle for the contract time frame and Tropical Ford did not provide those maintenance services.
I am not the only one who has had similar issues with the Tropical Ford service department. This is not a one time offense to the consumer and shows that many others also suffered from the lack of
maintenance on their vehicles.

Because Tropical Ford never replaced my air filters during any routine scheduled maintenance, I had to purchase a new one and replace it myself. I took the old filter to the auto parts store where I bought the new filter and the employee said he thinks it s the original air filter that came with the car. Based on the fact Tropical Ford never replaced my air filter I can not be sure they did any of the required scheduled maintenance on my 2010 Ford Escape. It is possible that the oil changes never were done and now my engine could be compromised.
If Google would let me post pictures here in the review, you would see the difference between the new and old filters.

Very unhappy customer. Overpriced service on alternator replacement. On vacation so no other choices. Did not wash truck after service as promised. Broke GPS NAV in dash radio and called to pickup truck at closing so I had no recourse. Worked with Joey and he was hard to get a hold of. NOT HAPPY!!!

As always, the service and experience here was impeccable. Our salesman, Vitali, was absolutely phenomenal and so professional, and I would recommend anyone to go see him. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and took care of us from beginning to end. There is a reason why we continue to bring our business to Tropical Ford.

This was the best car buying experience I could have asked for. Our car salesman Jay was extremely knowledgeable and went above and beyond to provide us with the absolute best customer service. Everyone was warm and welcoming. They didn't push or pressure us and made sure we got not only the perfect car but a great deal!

Had to go to Ford after we came out of Aquatica Water park to find a flat. One of their contracted services, Pop a Lock, came to us very quickly, changed tire, and had us on our way. We got to Tropical Ford about 10 minutes before closing. They were happy to stay late to check & fix my tire on my Ford Escape..& get us back to our vacation. Best Ford experience ever. I am from Lumberton, NC.

When it comes to service, dont go here. I needed a new clutch and they quoted me $2,000 with labor!! 10 hours to do the job...no way I went to another mechanic and he did it for $1000 with sport clutch and extras (resurface flywheel, clean tranny)

My F350 Ford truck was towed in because it would not start. Juan from the service department called me and said it was the low pressure fuel pump and it would cost $1300 to repair. I said I guess I have no choice lets do this. At the end of the week he called me and said there's more to it. You need to repair the high-pressure fuel pump and some other stuff that I did not understand what he was talking about. Of course I was mad because I would not of agreed to the first $1300. At first he gave me the $1,300 quote and said that would fix it. Then when he called me back he said it would be another $19,000......... YES $19,000 not $1,900 . I said that was crazy, you told me it only needed $1300 and it would be fixed now its $19,000? He said yes that needed to be done to figure out the rest. Of course I'm mad because they misdiagnosed it and now I'm mad because after Juan spoke to the service adviser or whatever that guys position is. He told me the part was put in and they are not going to take it out. I am responsible for the $1300 even if it did not fix the problem. It's not the $1300 because a new truck will cost more. Its the misdiagnosis I don't want to pay for. Not even going to consider a trade or purchase of a new truck here.

The worst experience in customer service!
Carlos sheppard the quick lane advisor said he was the manager and wasn t going to help me with the refund after they overcharged me for the oil change and tire rotation. The package was $45 and I was charged $61.41. The cashier Liz said she didn t close out the ticket to have them adjust it for the refund and Carlos said NO! I told him you just want to take my money and he replied well yeah, and next time just come back and ask for the works. There won t be a next time and i used to go there and in the system it shows the same service I always go for and Hector Mendez was the one that first greeted me and ask if i was a regular and I said yes. Ask him for the same service as usual the oil change and filtro with tire rotation. They decided to charge everything separate instead of giving me the package of the works! Tropical Ford is the worst at customer service!!! Taking my business elsewhere. I even was thinking about buying another vehicle from there but not anymore taking it to another dealership!!

Our experience was really positive at Tropical Ford. Jay Logue, who was our rep, was very nice to deal with. He first drove the car (Fusion Hybrid) to show the key features, discussed the car's main plus points, compared it with other hybrids, and let me drive the vehicle around. Jay was very professional - we never felt pressured to buy the car. After we bought the car, he followed by calling us to find out whether we had any issues. I would highly recommend calling him if you're planning on buying a Ford.
