I bought a car last 2017 thinking that I have a great deal. I even wrote a 5 star review. My car came with a lifetime oil change sticker. It turns out it was two years only for oil change and someone forgot to take out that sticker, according to the dealer employee when I went to do the oil change yesterday. I see that sticker everyday since two years ago, but the 30 years plus experienced manager said sorry not our fault . This is the Tropical Ford customer service.... please don t do business there!

This is the worst experience that anyone can have when trying to rent a car at Hertz. The employee (Angel) was extremely cocky, rude, and arrogant. He was not helpful at all and although I will not let my bad experience stop me from renting from Hertz, I will not be renting from this location again.

We just purchased a Ford Focus Hatchback today. We were doing some price and feature comparisons with other models. Michael Torres, our salesperson, was exceptional. His no pressure approach made us feel very comfortable that he was being honest and not just telling us what would get the sale. In the end, he helped us get an incredible deal on the car we were looking at, and then he spent lots of time helping us get acquainted with the vehicle and making sure everything was perfect. Always a happy customer here for service! Carlos is great and very caring for his customers. They always make sure everything is taken care of. I forgot to tell them about the recall my vehicle had and they took care of it without me even asking. Also went in to sales to check about ending my lease and getting into a new vehicle. Vitalie is super friendly and patient. Jonathan is also helpful in trying to make the magic work!

My experience here was phenomenal. After spending nearly 7 hours struggling getting the truck of my dreams, the guys here were so patient and helpful. I was having issues with my bank, and Vitalie and Jose were so patient and kind, helping me every step of the way. NONE of my issues were because of Tropical Ford, they were all outside forces. They helped me with showing me options and assisting in helping me make the right financial decision. These aren't people who are just trying to get a sale as quick as possible. They care about their customer, and are very personable. I've never had such great customer service anywhere before. I recommend everyone who's considering buying a Ford to go to Tropical Ford. Vitalie and Antonio are wonderful guys to help you show the cars. Going anywhere else is just nonsense.

Door, website and phone relay all say close at 9 pm! My husband and myself arrived at 830 on the dot and it was a ghost town. Doors locked not a sales rep in sight. Even called the number and no answer and the recording states closes at 9 pm! If your going to close at 8 something change your hours so customers dont waste their time! Disapointed and most definitely lost our business

I bought my car through Greenway Ford and was approved a loan for 26+K through Ally Financial. Came here to trade in a 2010 Ford Edge Limited AWD with 98k miles and no deposit. My credit hasnt changed isnt the greatest (its at 575 I was told) and they knew this upfront as credit being bad. I TOLD THEM THIS FROM THE BEGINNING. Its not like I had anything to hide. In fact, being loyal to Ford, came back to a Ford dealer... to be told I had 6k in rebates on a negative equity loan (great right?). They run my credit. Was told I needed a 6k down to get a fusion (Really?). A complete waste of time. Disgusted with this place and Ford in general. Later they tried to justify this nonsense by saying it's a "franchise Ford dealer" that they don't deal with the same banks that Greenway Ford does and why they couldn't approve a no down in my credit though I did it perfectly at Greenway Ford. ** DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEIR CRAPPY BANKS **. ** GO TO GREENWAY FORD **. **AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS ** YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

David is a great service advisor. I am glad he moved from the quick lane to the service drive. I brought my car in for a recal , left rear shock I noticed was leaking, and a multi point inspection. Throughout it all, he was very honest and made me feel good about leaving my car with him. I take very good care of my vehicle and keep a service record book. He assisted me in tracking down a file from my last service because he knows how important it is to me. Kelly is also great. The shuttle driver was on lunch and she took it upon herself to drive me to work. Thank you

My initial experience was good. The process was smooth and easy. After the purchase, I noticed damage to my fender that was not reported on the car fax. I brought it to their attention and was told that since it doesn't effect the driving, they will do nothing about it. I will have to pay for it to be fixed myself. Even though it was still under the warranty. I've had the vehicle 2 weeks. When asked about returning, i was told they have a no cool down policy. Don't do business with this company. They only want your money. You've been warned.

Do not take your automobile for any kind of service. There is no communication at all in the service dept , with employees. They will not call you back or will put you on hold and not let the person you leave message with , they will call you back. Turn around time is rediculles. I took my van in to have work done on it , it was to ready in approximately one week , it was ready two and half weeks. I was given a estimate it change three different times and no it was not lower when I finally paid them. I am getting my van today, I just hope that they did a good job , will know soon and I will let you know. Not that it matters I am in a wheelchair and need my van to get to the doctor, I had to cancel a important doctors appointment , due to there procrastination.

My husband and I we where car shopping this past weekend, we did our research when to 3 different Ford dealers, and they let us walk out on 2.
We had a great Expedience at this Ford dealer where we did our last Stop with Jay, he sold us an F-150 he is a sales person that want you to get the car you want, he doesn't try to push you on something else, he work out the deal that we want it, he was very respectful, patient, knowledgeable, it was a very pleasant experience. Also Jose the Finance manager was very friendly and helpful, we got all the extras we want it, and he explain to us how they work. I would recommend this dealer to anyone!

Just picked up my truck and they did not perform my transmission fluid change. I specifically asked for this and was given a quote when it was dropped off. The advisor wrote it on the paper I signed. I also asked them to machine my brakes and replace pads. About an hour later they called me and asked if I wanted 2 other services and I said no. When I asked how the brakes looked the advisor who called me had no idea I wanted brakes looked at however informed the tech to do the brakes. Upon getting my vehicle and noticing the transmission fluid wasn t done I also noticed my phone charger had been taken. I ve never written a review and usually let things go but there is clear management improvement needed at this location. I had to specifically tell the front desk what I wanted done vs them suggesting services based off my mileage. They called me and asked for a service I had done at my last oil
change so I m skeptical that was needed. They let money slip right out the door by not performing my transmission fluid..... I won t be returning to this location despite using them for the last 5 years. Enough is enough.

Note: a few oil changes ago they also used regular oil when I asked for synthetic. They don t pay attention.

This place is the greatest cheat ever! Guys if you ever make transactions with this company just double check if they really did what they are supposed to do. I had a simple change oil and tire rotation done. Guess what? They did not rotate my tires. Of course they charged me for both. Why did I knew? One of my tires has a different brand, the right rear tire, I drove home and to my surprise after several days I noticed that the tire was still in the right rear place!!! I complained through email but got no response. We are talking about a "reputable" car dealer here cheating you of a measly tire rotation!

We were introduced to Devon who my Husband immediately called Heaven as he knew this was going to be a wonderful experience!
Devon almost lived up to this name especially involving Jack the Manager to help us with our purchase. The sale was positive and we hope to enjoy our vehicle and use Tropical Ford again in the future.

Very poor issue resolution. The sales manager, Jack Grace, although resolved our issue was unable to resolve it without us having to insist for a resolution. If you decide to go to the dealership then just hope that there are no issues because the manager lacks the capacity to resolve it without escalating it.

I am glad I was helped by Hector.
He listened to all my requests and took care of all items quick lane could do.
The reason for me to score Tropical with a 4 star and not a 5 is that I have to schedule another appointment (during the week which is not helpful to me), to take care of two of the most important items I needed to fix.
All and all, they changed the oil, replaced the wipers and filled in the fluid for my windshield and back window. They could make an effort and clean up the car inside a little bit. Vacuum probably?

Once I made the decision to buy a new car I decided to visit different dealers in the area. My first experience was a complete disaster for the quality of service offered in a Nissan dealer. After 20 minutes there, I remain sitting and waiting to be attend. When no one appeared I decided to leave.

A week after, I was talking with a friend about my experience. She immediate took me directly to Tropical Ford. It was a Sunday afternoon, just few minutes before the regular time to close. Patiently, he listen to all your requirements and needs. Based on this experience, in minutes you can have all the options that better fit with your plans. Patiently he shows each of the choices, showing at all times a strong knowledge of the existing fleet.

With an idea in mind, and when you have to talk about numbers, another extraordinary member of Tropical Ford team start to serve you, Mr. Gary Burton, the Chief of Finance. In less time than took me drink a cup of coffee, Mr. Mella passed all my requirements to Mr. Burton. Immediately, and demonstrating a broad knowledge and a great financially contacts ,

Mr. Burton offer me an extraordinary proposal that fit exactly with all my needs and went beyond that, and offered me also an amount of extra important services that will made my life easy and save me an important amount of money. My only future worries will be the fact to give them a phone call if is needed.

After a minor collision with something on the road...

After a minor collision with something on the road, I took my 2011 Ford Taurus to Gerber Collision. After two attempts, several days etc, they could not do the job properly so I took it to Tropical Ford. I have written a letter to Gerber Collision as well.
Thierry Butler is in charge of Tropical Ford collision department and explained they too offer a guarantee on their work for the life of the vehicle.
I will NEVER take my car to any place other than Tropical Ford! They did my free oil change and rotated my tires (at my cost) while it was there for the collision fix. Carlos is the Service Manager and he is so caring and genuine. He loves his job and it shows! And Thierry, I can t say enough wonderful things about him. He takes his job very seriously, is proud of Ford and very proud of my guys in the garage. They are all a team and it shows! HU RAH FOR FORD!!!
In fact, this is still not quite over. I called Thierry yesterday to ask him if my car pulling to the right could be from the wreck. He said, Sure, if Gerber didn t align it. Surly they aligned it. Well, they charged for it. So today I took off from work again and took the car to Carlos. He had them check it out. It needs an alignment. He doesn t believe it was done by Gerber and Ford did not know to do it. The insurance papers have closed. I now get to pay for an alignment, that should have been covered. Lesson learned. However, Tropical Ford is open on Saturdays!!!! Yay!

Had an OK experience with the sales team, finance ...

Had an OK experience with the sales team, finance team was very cocky and added to much pressure... ended up pressuring me in to a deal that I am not happy with.

As soon as I took the car home, I realized the car is junk. I complained right away and all they told me was, bring it back and we will try to fix it or trade it in.

I was very disappointed, certified used car and needs to go in for service as soon as I purchased it.

It's been three weeks and I'm still waiting for the rear floor mats, my keyless entry to be reset and all of the rattling to be fixed.

Jay really helped to make the whole day go smoothly! Although we were there a very long time, it was worth it! We found the perfect new escape for my trade in and was even able to negotiate on the trade in price a bit. Welcoming people and very hard working. The inside was clean and comfortable and I have used their fast lane before and David was kind enough to explain in detail what was going on with me car. For someone who knows next to nothing about cars, he really put my mind at ease! I'll be going back if I ever need anything!

I just bought a 2012 Ford Focus from a private sale. I wanted to make sure everything was working good on it so I brought it to Tropical Ford. My man Juan found the car still under warranty and had me out of their in a rental within 30 minutes. He called me to update me on the car the next day. He s a great guy truly cares about the customer. Will be coming back! Also shoutout to the ladies at the payment center. They are super nice and friendly. Good job Ford.

My family was on vacation when our car started having problems. I chose Tropical Ford because of the reviews. Yes, the place is dated but the service is years ahead of other dealerships. The service advisor, Rodger, was exceptional. The workmanship was excellent. They found an electrical issue that was difficult to find and got my family back home safely 1200 miles away with no issues. I highly recommend Tropical Ford.
