Service Advisor Lauren Felder was excellent, in particular with clear and timely communications. The only criticism was that I had to bring my vehicle back as one of the service issues (cruise control) was not repaired on the first service appointment.

Worst experience I ve ever had a dealership.I was put in a car that I loved and was told to return the car due to them not being able to secure the deal. I had the vehicle for 40 days.I put down money and proof of my employer and pay-stubs. I was then asked do I think I can get a co signer.I got a co signer,I wasn t told more money was needed to be put down . When I arrived to pick the car up I was told at the last minute I needed $300 more.I never agreed to more money the finance manager put it on my paperwork without telling me and without me agreeing to more money. When I asked can I get the money I put down so I could go to another dealership. I was told I was approved and nothing could be done. I feel I was taken advantage of and I wasn t given a fair deal I feel ripped off.

I didn't even get a chance to go visit this dealership and I'am not planning on it anymore because they are so rude. I called them to see what was the latest I can come today (June 29, 2018) for an oil change and when the lady transferred my call to services the guy that picked up told me today wouldn't be a good day cause they're backed up. So then I asked about the next day and he told me to wait because he wasn't sure. Then, when he got back on the phone he proceeded to tell me that he would transfer my call to a different department (I don't know why, when I'm calling about service, so I was a little confuse) and when he did so nobody picked up. I hang up and called back two more times and both time the guy from the service department picked up the phone and hang up in my face. When I tried calling a 3rd time, this time they didn't pick up at all. I honestly feel like that's bad for business and with that being said I will be taking my money to a different dealership that has better customer service.

Luis Ramon Quevedo was very professional and mindful of my time. I came in the dealer to sell my Chevy Silverado, did not purchase a new vehicle and was a painless and fast process and got the amount I was looking for! Overall great experience and recommend this dealer and Luis.

Because they did notvdonit correctly the 1st time the glue on brand new cars hood and seats this is how your service department called me that my car was ready because of my honest review Julio the service manager said he would not accept my vehicle in service

My experience at tropical Chevrolet service center was great, my service tech Arturo Ramirez was great he took my truck in and had very thing done for me, he had the driver take me home and return to pick me up when my truck was ready I'm very please with the tropical team thanks again everyone.

2017 Chevrolet Equinox Premier had no power to sta...

2017 Chevrolet Equinox Premier had no power to start vehicle. Called Chevrolet Road Side Assistant, which showed up in one hour. Technician provided two gallons of gasoline and started vehicle in less than ten minutes. I made a run with the vehicle to send a charge to a weak battery. I went on line and connected with Tropical Chevrolet and booked a 7:30 am for the next morning. I drove down to Tropical Chevrolet and was greeted by service advisor Tyson Ambrose who guided me to the lounge area. I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee and Tyson keep me updated on status of work. The vehicle was ready @ 8:55 am totally checked out with a new battery. Tropical Chevrolet is Digital, Seamless, and in Real-Time. Tropical Chevrolet and entire staff earned Five Stars! Dedicated businesses and employees need to be recognized by proclaiming gratitude for performance and service.

I don't like going to a dealerships, normally it takes time (all day) to get the car you want. This time I talked to Thays Barrera one of the sale person. I asked a lot of questions and most of my questions were answered by thays so when I when to the dealership I concentrated in just fill out some paper forms. This time it was a pleasure experience.. Outrageous pricing I a camaro was advertised for 17,000 when I got there they said it was advertised I. Correctly the actual price was 38,000 I was charged for paint, rims, engine separately then a discount of a 1,000 dollars off I was supposed to pay 27,000 after everting was added it was back to 38,000. I do not recommend this dealer to anyone

I have been purchasing my vehicles from Tropical Chevrolet since 1999 and I have always had a pleasant experience, from beginning to end. Although there is a Chevy dealer about 5 minutes away from my house I will always take the 20-30 minute drive to bring my vehicle to them for service.

Thank you Harris and Sofia for making the purchase of my new car so seamless and thank you Maria for always taking good care of your customers. It's always a pleasure to visit you guys!!!!!

The customer service here is at the lowest of levels. At least I have not been disrespected or treated like a second class citizen but that in itself is not a plus. Tropical Chevrolet has a habit of not supplying customers with the best of service. They kept our vehicle for more than 7 hours and refused us a loaner car even when we explained how important it was for us to make it to our son's school game by 3pm today. We brought our car in for a simple tune up for the second time and just as before 7-8 hours and no car loaner. We had to catch an uber home and ancel all plans for the day. This is not acceptable when it comes to clients who purchased their vehicles from Tropical Chevrolet. We are never treated with any sort of care and concern here but when we were purchasing our vehicle they went out their way to role out the red carpet... Tropical Chevrolet are borderline untrustworthy.

1/25/18 We are debating on whether or not to buy a used truck and so far it has been a nice experience. Time will tell over the next few days. 1/26/18 Ok we brought a vehicle and Everything went very well. Very nice people and service, I will have a update in a few weeks. 5/30/2019 Ok it has been more than a few weeks. The truck runs great but watch out for the service. They hit you up on this. My wife went there a second time and boom $500+ dollars for the front brakes. Last time it was for service 500 dollars. But worse of all she made an appointment and was there for 6 hours. I worked in fleet maintenance and had 2 trucks for over 10 years and maintained them myself. Front brakes don't cost 500 I don't care how you slice it. Too bad i was working because we would have talked to the manager about this.

I was over charged for parts that wasn t placed on my car.
Lauren stated I needed a part for my engine light to go off and fidelity my warranty company didn t cover the part and I had to pay 217.00. Plus 169 and another 112 for a simple oil change with no parts purchased.

I indicated to her that the Engine light was on since my last visit.

Mr. Chris Brown said he needed to just reset my car for engine light to go off.

Please note no parts was brought but she charged me and I wasn t supposed to be charged. Terrible service

The used car dealership was a terrible experience....

The used car dealership was a terrible experience. The dealership handed me a written agreement to replace two balding rear tires, after the purchase. The used sales department did not allow me to schedule with the service department. In the small print of the agreement was written, if I could not schedule an appointment within 30 days they were not obligated to redeem the replacement. Whenever I called I could not get through. I had to use my wife who then handed me the phone to get an answer. Even then when all was scheduled, after 1 hour 30 minutes they told me they had ordered 18 size tires instead of 16 and we had to come back. Only after to talking to another manager was I able to take care of the situation, but we had to wait around 5 hours, for only $200 worth of work. It is important to note that most of my interactions were with Rudy De Lemos, and other parts of the dealership were like the service department were friendly. Also the actual prices are reasonable as long as you can handle long negotiations with rude people.

I exercised my rights with warranty. for three consecutive times that I've taking my car out for service for the same issue, each time I was given the run around.one excuse was theres only transmission tech. in the building and that I would have to come back another day.overal just poor customer service.

Buyer beware!! I walked in with credit approval (capital one and road loans) and Mauricio and Luigi didn t want to accept it. They pushed us to use their finance company but quoted us extremely high apr and monthly payments. It didn t make sense to use their finance company. However they didn t want to accept our own lender. On top of the financing issue , the car was a total bait and switch. They tried to add $4000 in fees ... $2500 being a safety recon which is suppose to cover repairs done to the vehicle when they purchased it. So disappointed. I will never use this or any other tropical dealership . These people are liars. Do your own research and don t believe a word that comes out of their mouths.

Communication is Horrible when it comes down to the services department and sales noone seem to know nothing you wait hours to get in contact with someone to get information about a vehicle you purchase from them ;they don't explain your contract they just sell you the car to make money. Never knew this car lot was private owned I would have never purchased a car from them.Most of the employees need to be trained over again I wish I would have never purchased a car from them.i had to wait 6 days before someone finally emailed my contract besides my sales person ;he has no need to return phone calls .I will never recommend noone to buy from here just because of customer service please if you buy make sure u understand what you signing,bc they know you're not gone sit there and read every paper

I never had a worst experience like this, its horrible, it took 2 days to get outdoor price from them. I called at least 10 times every time they answer me we will call you right back and 2 days like that. Customer service doesn t exist, they have bad phone connection, except manager every single salesman can t speak english well its to hard to understand what they want to say.
After 2 days struggle they text me outdoor price $10.200 more then was listed price (price break down attached), think twice before do something with this dealership .

We visited this dealership years ago and the change in atmosphere was amazing. The dealership felt welcoming and friendly. What an incredible experience start to finish! Our salesman Eric Rivera and his assistant Rosa Lucendo surpassed all of our expectations. We were very unsure about buying an American car, but when Eric called us in, he immediately put us at ease. His knowledge, expertise and explanations made us comfortable and now a Chevy owner. From start to driving off the lot in our brand new Malibu the transaction was smooth and stress free. I still marvel at how fast and efficient this team worked to get us in our new car. The finance manager and his thorough explanation of the programs was icing on the cake. We will tell our family and friends that this is the best place to get your new car. Thank you Tropical Chevrolet, looking forward to bringing our daughter in soon for her new car.

What started as a rocky proposition turned out to be a good buying experience. Thanks to Martin Cespedes for reminding me to always consider what your elders have to say and to Eddy and the finance team for helping me understand why choosing certain extras make sense when buying a vehicle for a loved one. I called about a car that was $10,888

I wanted to buy cash , they quoted me $15,000 to walk out the door !!!



The car is advertised at $10,888 so how after taxes & tags it s $15,000 ?

They said
$900 dealer fee
$879 for Tax & Tags
$498 to transfer the title to N.C.
&
$1500 in some ceramic fee , something that they place on the seat & dashboard

I was thinking I would not pay more than $12500 after taxes & fees

I can t believe they said $15,000

I went to this dealership based on a fake advertis...

I went to this dealership based on a fake advertisement on Edmunds App. When arrived I was advise that the car was $4,000 more expensive than what the App said and their official website. The salesman explain all the EXTRA fees as well as the change in the base price of the vehicle.
I gladly negotiated since I liked the car.
I closed the deal on an agreed amount with the Manager of the dealership. I went by all the Departments filling the Forms and Signing the Required paperwork to take the vehicle.
When I got home I review the contracts (around 30 pages of information) and the numbers where not adding up. I was basically paying $7,000 MORE for the car... I am a first time buyer, so I literally felt robbed by this dealership. Next morning I went at 9:00 AM (when they open) and encounter the salesman that sold me the car. I politely told him that I would like to return the car and I was not happy. He s reply was: I can not help you, this is not Macy s that you buy something and next day can return it. Politely I explained him that I literally was robbed by them. Showed him the contract and the numbers. The salesman was not able to answer me properly, so finance gentleman came and explain. Still... did not made sense after more than 3 hours of him trying to persuade me about the total amount was correct.
It was not correct because there should be a more ethical and moral values in this dealership when the manager shakes your hand and agrees with the price they should comply with their words...
Finally, they sent me with the head of finance (a fine gentleman and patience) in which he clearly understood the gravity of the situation and helped me to reach as close as the deal that I signed (the cost of the car was still WAY higher than what was agreed when I gave my hand to the MANAGER of the dealership)
In conclusion, it was a shame that me as a first buyer had to go thru this experience which was a learning process. I always heard really bad things about dealerships and that they are sharks etc. But I really apply the benefit of the doubt and gave the chance to the gentleman s of this dealership and it was a mistake. I am not rich. I am a hardworking guy of 27 years old that is trying to grow and I was lied at this dealership. Why? Because of the following: 1. The finance gentleman that took my case and provided me with all the documents to sign did not do his Job. He spoke about the weather while was providing me all the documents to sign. (I should have paused and read them; my mistake. I learned) this gentleman should have explained me and walk me thru all the paperwork.
2. He rushed me to the insurance department. That s how I knew when I got home that I was tricked.
3. I stayed outside the dealership just admiring my new car and feeling proud of what I had achieved. And the salesman came out side more than 3 times to ask me if everything was okay.

I hope my review helps this dealership to enforce the basic morals and ethical standards values of working people. I know that every day a dumb person is born and a smart person is born, I was the dumb ... I truly do not know if all the dealerships are like this one but look out people... hold your excitement, be patient, read everything they give you... because at the of the day, you signed it - meaning you agreed to it.
