Stay away! Call representatives quoted a tire rotation, inspection and an oil change for $59.99. When I arrived a few days later, they charged me $99.99. False advertising at its finest. Total cost for an oil change $106.

Also when they gave me the report of the inspection, the report did not include any details about what they did. See pic. Also, you would think 106.49 would get you some air in the tires right. Nope. Arrived with 30psi and left with 30psi. They didn t even fill up my tires!

I recommend spending your money somewhere else. You can get better service, at a better price.

The worker recommended Gold package for Maintenance and I agreed to pay $248 plus tax. When I came back to pick up the car I received a bill of $313.01. I asked about this different price and she answered that was plus tax. Okey, Florida tax is 7% and can not be this the total with tax. She retaked the bill and fix the cost at $289. I was looking for what I paid. I have coupon for change of oil and tires rotation and this need to be subtracted from initial amount. Also on the bill I have $26.59 "CUSTOMER PAYS SHOP CHARGE FOR REPAIR ORDER" an amount which nobody can explain what means.
Worst experience and I never come back because I felt like someone smiling put the hand in my pocket and stole from me.

I recently bought a car from Tropical Chevrolet, and I am speechless. The service was that good. The people at Tropical Chevrolet were very kind, personable, honest, and upfront. They were willing to work with me and make the deal happen. They went above and beyond to get the deal done and extended us all the help they could. I would recommend anyone looking to buy a car, especially a Chevy, stop by Tropical Chevrolet. There are good people there.

I will be taking my business elsewhere when it comes to servicing my car. The first time I came service was good. No complaints. I came back in July to get my car serviced at 15k miles and the service was good, so I thought, but unbeknownst to me the Tropical Chevrolet associate did not reset my sensors after rotating my tires and changing my oil. Supposedly they filled my oil but according to the sensor the oil was not changed even though I paid for it. I was unaware of this until the air in my passenger tire was low as the car alerted me. I went to put air in the tire but the psi for the passenger tire did not change, instead the driver side changed because they had not reset the sensors. So I went ahead and decided to check my oil as well, why not right? Long and behold my remaining oil life showed 13% while before the 15k miles service remaining oil life was 20%. How is that? Good question, one might ask. So today I brought my vehicle back to reset the sensors as they should have the first time. Arturo who was my service associate both times - in July and now today informed me I had a puncture in my tire wall and needed to get a new tire, which I did. They replaced the tire and Arturo called me to inform me my car was ready for pickup. I decided this time to check my car before driving off of the lot and thanks be to God that I did because the pressure in three of the tires were reading at 35psi while the new tired read 48psi. That is a difference of 13. Why so high, why did the mechanic not check? That is dangerous. The maximum weight for my tires are 50psi but that does not mean that is how much you should put into the tire. It is common knowledge to know that as you drive your tires will heat up and the air inside will expand causing the tire to read at a higher psi, if I had gotten on the highway for an extended travel as I intended my tire could have blown had I not checked. Nevertheless, I could've let the air out of the tire myself as I know how, but I should not have to do that. Is that not why I pay Tropical Chevrolet for their services and entrust them with my vehicle and ultimately my safety? Thankfully, I informed them and the issue was fixed. It is just disappointing what I experienced. Arturo seems like a nice guy, it is just unfortunate who ever works on the cars are not doing a very good job and it is reflecting negatively on him. Hopefully they do better.

Lastly, customer service needs to improve. Today when I came to drop off my car and pick it up, I was not greeted or acknowledged by any of the workers because they were to busy conversing among themselves and also wearing no mask during a pandemic. I was going to take a picture but decided against it, as I would not want anyone doing that to me. But all in all, next time a quick "Hello, one moment and someone will be right with you" would be nice. Also, hope you better adhere to the safety guidelines in place during this pandemic.

If i could give it no stars I would. Ready and able buyer from the west Coast of fl wantin g additional photos of a car I m interested in . First sales person David Choy. Big Rain storm ok. Well after the Storm I would expect a few more pictures, nothing. Asked to be referred to aSales manager still waiting for that just because I like the car I tried once again was referred to another sales specialist named Ana mancebo. Again asked for additional photos she referred me to the website 4 photos of the car and stock photos no real pics of the product. I have requested the sales manager again,nothing. I am in the service industry myself and if I provided this type of customer service I would be living on the street This is garbage, and now I don t want to buy the car it could be a perfectly great car but now I have questions issues concerns because no one will send me additional photos Look. It s not that hard to snap a few pics with your phone. I am basically giving you money if I see a couple extra pics. Your costumer service sucks and now I m toAlly ticked off. Don t buy from this company they do not answer straightforward questions do not help you in anyway shape or form they give you the runaround and go somewhere else isn t worth it

Horrible experience. Such a waste of time, all their cars are marked up with some "Tropical Protection Package and $3000 dealer fee", so expected to pay at least $6k more from the sale price.

I checked on their website and I see a new 2017 Camaro 1SS for sale. It shows a MSRP of $38,795 and a Camaro Holiday Special discount for $7,236. I called ahead and asked whether I can qualify or not for this special and they told me yes (Andres).

Great! I then drove 40mins to get to the dealership, and Mr. Fidias took care of me (very nice guy BTW). We test drove the car, everything went great. Then we sat down, and he brought me the sale number and I found out the sale price for the car now is $41XXX instead of $38,795. I asked Mr. Fidias why is $41XXX instead of the MSRP $38,795. And he explained to me that this price has some Tropical Protection Package included and mandatory, which include an RIDICULOUS EXPENSIVE set of wheel locks (actual price less than $30), a pre-delivery inspection (nobody pays for this), and paint protection (when Chevy actually already included this as a warranty, called the Rust-through coverage for the first 6 years or 100,000 miles of the car). Ah ok, it surely took a lot of amount of hours to do a pre-delivery inspection huh? And then, I looked down and there is another $2,800+ mark up for a Trop Pro Package. I asked them what is this, and they told me this is the dealer fee. Ah ok, $2800 dealer fee, that sounds like nothing, right? I keep looking down and there is another 899 doc fee. Wow, so basically at least $6699+ extra profit for the dealer. At this point, I am completely amazed by their "special pricing" and walked off. Am I really getting the $7,236? Not really.

I told them, I am paying the $38,795 MSRP minus $7,236, minus my $15k trade in, plus the 6% sales tax, 899 doc/dealer fee, $200 transfer tag fee, and they told me no, it doesn't work this way and I am out of my mind. No wonder why there was barely any customer in the dealership.

This was a complete waste of time, not recommend at all. Avoid this dealership at all cost. They advertised their price for a very low price to get you to their location. But trust me, you will never get that price. =)

Deceiving sales tactics. I was interested in purchasing a vehicle they had advertised for 26,999 online. I called the dealership and mentioned that I wanted to know the best out the door cash price as I wanted to purchase cash. They came back with a out the door price of $34,959. When I asked for an explanation they told me the used vehicle required a non optional Tropic Service Package which included exterior and interior vehicle protection. I can understand tax, title, tag, and even dealer fees but adding an additional $9,000 in fees and making the service packages non optional?!? Ridiculous! I would not recommend making any online or over the phone purchases. You will be wasting your time.

I came in two weeks ago dropping off my 2012 Chevy Camaro for service and the repairs came up to more than expected so Tropical Chevrolet offered to help me find a new car. Two weeks later, I m working with Advisor, Isaiah who has worked endlessly to make a deal happen. While working alongside, Omar, I was able to leave the lot with a 2017 Chevy Camaro. Thanks Tropical Chevrolet for everything! I would recommend this dealership.

My son and I went car shopping for an inexpensive practical car. We drove 50 minutes to this amazing dealership. Our Sales person was Rafael Lacay, and he really listened to what we were looking for and what we could afford to spend. After looking over several cars that were disappointing to us, Rafael remembered he had one other one that he could not show us at that time and asked us to trust him and come back the next day or so. Well, usually when a car sales person tells you, "trust me," you look look the other way. Listening to my gut, I decided to give it a go, and we did return and got a well made decent car for a decent price. I highly recommend this Dealership and this Sales person. All is can say is, "Thank you, Rafael. you are The Best."

Be careful when you buy even small part ! They are not promising and easily cheating you ! The best find an other dealer if you want to be happy your shopping. I spent 3 days almost 16 hours to try make the deal done but I deceived. I am not happy my deal was 60K truck. Also there is nobody get back to me after left many messages. Once you bought something, you are done ! no back calls, no respect, no support ! Still waiting someone who is in charge as a manager position maybe he/she will say hello and ask me what happened ?

Buyer beware!

Buyer beware!
They sold me a BMW 328I 2015 with structural damage. They told me the car was involved in a small accident.
Without knowing this, some months later I went to a couple of dealers to trade it for another car, and they valued my car very low because of the structural damage.
I paid carfax for a report so I could see it for myself.
This car dealer should have disclosed that to me.

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!

OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!
I paid $1,509 for a repair and when I got my car back I could not drive more than two blocks.Something was not working right.
I returned to Tropical Chevrolet and they explained to me that the car had a different issue that, 'coincidentally', happened because they fixed the original one.
They didn't warn me that I could not reach the first traffic light after my repair, they acted like I was lying to them and that when I took the car to the service the car was already like that. They said the new repair would have a cost of over $2,800!!!!!!
Simply unbelievable... I paid $1,509 only to not being able to drive my car anymore because I could not afford the new repair.
Can you believe that?!?!?!?!
I paid $1,509 to kill a car that was alive and running with the only issue of a little overheat. And of course they wouldn't give me my money back. What a band of robbers!!
Now relying on Uber to go to work-- Absolutely ridiculous!!
Feel ripped-off, tricked, fooled, a clown... all of the above.
Never again Tropical Chevrolet.
NEVER AGAIN CHEVROLET.

The salesman I spoke to about dropping off my lease gave me the wrong hours for the shop (so people had 30 minutes to get there before me the next day... total waste of time). The lady inthe shop is very knowledgable and helpful, probably the only reason I didn't give it one star.

This place is flagrantly false advertising a deal ...

This place is flagrantly false advertising a deal on Instagram, indicating a $500 check will be issued if not approved by their creditors. This sounds too good to be true, which is why I confirmed several times with their customer service rep., Alejandra. My credit is not great and I mentioned that to the rep. to make sure I wasn't showing up under false pretenses. I skipped out on my first schedule meeting because I had issues with my registration. They called me the following day and they assured me it wouldn't an issue and that I should come anyway. Again, I mentioned the deal and again it was confirmed to me. This is now 4 times I have this confirmed. When I get to the dealership at 9:30 (nearly 30 miles from my house and an hour+ drive in the morning), the sales associate Cullen, gets to work on what he can offer me. When I asked him about the deal in person, he said he had no idea what I was talking about. I mentioned to him that the customer service rep confirmed it for me. He kinda brushed it off and continued with the hard credit check. Only to come back and say that I needed a cosigner and a minimum $4000 deposit. When I mentioned the deal to him again, and how that was part of the reason I showed up so far away, so early. He told me again he had no idea what I was talking about. I insisted he ask somebody and he smugly asked, "Five-hundred dollars just for showing up??". And I nodded my head insisting he ask about it. He comes back saying that I was actually approved, I just needed a cosigner and $4000. This dealership and everyone who works there is literally baiting people with blatant false advertising to come and waste their time and then be lied to. If I needed a cosigner and $4000, I wasn't approved for anything and they just twisted words, and manipulated the situation to not have to honor their promotion. This should be illegal. Hours of my life I won't get back however much I tried to avoid having my time wasted. Not to mention when I called to speak to a manager, I was forwarded nearly 20 times (no exaggeration) to a full voicemail box, before I was finally able to speak to a manager who said he would speak to his associated and reach back out to me. I have not heard from him since. This shady business practice at best, and at worst is lies, manipulations, and overt disrespect. Their BBB profile is abound with similar false advertisements. Go ANYWHERE else to purchase your car. Not to mention American engineering is shoddy to say the least.

Avoid Tropical Chevrolet at all cost. It's a disgrace that they advertise $18333 for a car on their website, then they add $4285 on top of that once you visit the dealership. Before heading there I spoke to them and discussed the deal and they assured me they would be no other additional hidden cost outside of the regular tax, tag & dealer fee. Their business practices are so unethical and unprofessional! Best part about this is the salesperson even told me that that's how they get people to come to the showroom it's a common practice for them and that everybody else does it so it's okay for them to do the same ethical type of business. Tropical Chevrolet should be avoided at all cost just like the plague!!!! Luckily I was able to visit Bomnin Chevy in Kendall and what they advertised is what I was offered and ended up purchasing.

Took the car in for a normal maintenance service , everyone at the Service Department and throughout the Dealership was very helpful and friendly. My overall experience was very pleasant, I will definently come to Tropical Chevorlet again to get the car serviced.

They should be ashamed on how they conduct busines...

They should be ashamed on how they conduct business, simply put dishonest.
They advertise a vehicle and we called to confirm availability, price, vehicle history and any issues with the car. We where told MULTIPLE times on different calls that car was available, no issues and we could go in to drive it and see it.

After driving 45 minutes to see vehicle the person that answered the phone handed us off to a sales person and the games and deception began.

Sales person pretended not to know what car we where referencing. After waiting for a while comes back with the car is in service and you can't see it, but he had one that was a year OLDER, lower trim, similiar miles and we would love. I agreed to see it, when asked about them price it was $7,000 more than the one we went in to see that was 1 year newer.

When I got annoyed and said this was ridicolous he came back with, the other car is a pricing mistake (even though I called multiple times prior to going to dealer)

He turned me over to a "manager" who now changed the story to the transmission is bad and I should have the common sense to know It was priced accordingly. He also said the person who answers the phone should have said something. I asked him to bring the person from the phone out to ask why she ommitted that info and he never called her.

From there he handed me off to the manger of the facility who now told me the car had been stolen, did not have a transmision issue and was priced accordingly. He also advised me they disclose that information in sales listing. When I showed him the listing he said it was an oversight. So I asked him why wasn't Informed when I called and he now says the person that answers calls and provides information would not know that information.

Bottom line it was one lie after nother and just one big false advertising scam.

I will be reporting this to local authorities as far as false advertising and to Chevy corporate headquarters

The services staff is amazingly attentive and on point. I experienced exceptional service when my car was brought in for service. I received a cold bottle of water and updated phone calls on the status of my car. Chris, Arturo and Lisa are a great team. I m happy with the services I received.

Davie Choy worked on my deal for about two days going back and forth to meet my needs as well as what I could afford. He was very patient and treated me like family. The staff was very welcoming as well. I even got a free TV lol. Also, I noticed when I arrived home there were a few scratches on the car and he advised to bring it in the following week so he could get it taken care of. So far, great experience and would definitely recommend this dealer.

It has been the worst of the situations I've been through, I supposedly bought a car in December and seeing that on February 4 nothing had arrived to make my 1st payment I called them and they told me that the business was not tested after having gone 4 Sometimes at his office they let me know that my car, the one I left behind, had already sold it and to this day they have not responded to my problem, do not let me fool you by this place they do very bad work

Overall the experience was good, I wasn t hounded and was able to look freely. I purchased a great vehicle and even though it was a little more than I wanted monthly (due to poor credit so not really their fault) I was still able to leave happy and now we have a 2019 Silverado. Can t complain.

Recently I came to Tropical Chevrolet to change my car oil that I bought 2 years ago here and at the end of the day I went with Jeep Cherokee that I liked and I did the business, but after 3 or 4 days I brought it because I had that I did several things at the end they called me and told me that we had to turn the business back so as not to make the story long I told them ok and when I got to the dealer they wanted to return with the business because I told them that I did not want my car anymore pa back and the 1000 $$ that had given of dow that was a Friday today Monday I am still here waiting for the check that according to them still the owners have not signed what are a disrespectful scammers who play with one ahhh and they changed it the tires to my car returned it to me with other shameless gums that are, more never in my life I go back to this place and much less I recommend it to anyone my pa people that do not happen the same

Came for a car which did not exist, after i called twice and was assured that they have "5" Camaro`s in stock. Surprise the car was not there.
So they sold five 46.000$ cars on one sunday? With Manual stick shift transmission???? Wow good for them.

I even checked an hour before i drove there. ( 1.5 hours commute for nothing).

We spend almost 2 hours with 5 different people, till they finally told me that the car has to be build...daaaah ...That's what guy one and me said all along.

We talked to other dealers ahead and knew the car has to be build, since hubby wants modifications. I only went there because of there 4.0 rating on google and because of the fact that i can test drive the manual at least before ordering the car.

After 1,5 hours we modified the car and got a price i had been happy to pay, slightly over MSRP and dealer fees, but ok..shortly before we signed he noticed a mistake in his calculation. So he wanted 3400$ more?!?! Sorry no way i buy this car now. Very disappointed with this experience.

I recently purchased a used car from Tropical Chevrolet. After driving the car for a few days I realized that there might be a problem with the transmission. I bought the car "as is" so really my problem. Imagine my surprise when I called the dealership and the owner personally got on the phone and said not to worry that he would make it right. The car and I are in California so I am thinking, how is this going to turn out?

Ari told me to take the car to a local dealership and have it looked at. I did. The clutch and tranny had problems, and it needed new motor mounts. The dealership wanted $11,000.00 to fix the problems. I reluctantly called Tropical Chevrolet back. Ari's response; " how can we make this right?'

I asked if there was any way they could pay for 1/2 the repairs. I know the vehicle was sold "as is" . Imagine my response when he said "no problem" ."The most important thing was for me to be happy about my purchase."

Tropical Chevrolet has gone out of their way to stand behind their product. As a business owner myself, I am truly impressed.

I am probably going to buy a new truck next year. Even though I am in California, I will probably call Tropical Chevrolet and have the trucked shipped. Why would I ever buy a car from anywhere else?

I pulled up and they had someone to help me right away. No only did they fix my problem but they also pointed out other potential problems for the future. The visit was amazing and I feel safer in my car

I have purchased or leased 5 Corvettes, 1 Camaro & 2 Cruzes from Tropical Chevrolet in the past seven years. I have dealt mostly with Robenson Jeannot, salesman & Mark Diaz, sales manager for just about all my vehicles. I've always felt that I got a good deal, and that these gentleman have made me feel like part of the Tropical family.

For anyone shopping for a Corvette or Camaro, I highly recommend Tropical Chevrolet.
