Sadly after being told to go to tropical because of family.members , I was disappointed to almost get scammed out of 3k... so first if your going because of a car u see online, make sure they find the car, we couldn't find what we found online and where taken for a ride on another car that wasn't ready, after a week of back and forth , we showed up to there surprise , they claim great customer service but I question how serious that statement is. If I wouldn't of showed up we still be waiting. So I show up and after a few minutes I'm shown another car and the price tag goes up 3k... the fun part is as I'm about to sign a so called guy yaina...I think was his name comes into our convo , he's the finance guy lol... he wears a white shirt , and uses really cool words to slowly get me to a price of 13k... when I had agreed to 10k. * tip for people coming here , make sure you know what u want to spend with everything included don't let delearships dictate conversation. Your a customer who has cash and credit..always ask what part of the price your financing and ask what's the total at the end. Have a app handy before you walk into any delearship , know what u want and what it goes face value...add 2 to 3 grand on top ... Tropical started great but always , listen and ask before u sign or they run your credit... I will never step into this place again. So after in ask the real question I could tell that the financial guy was sort of shook , and kept using this same line "you can't be stuck on a number " lolol..come on bro...I told u I wanted 10k for everything.... now your throwing me in for 3k more for a bunch of other crap for a newer car with more miles lolol.... I explained simply I had no times for games and if the price could not be met we would leave..in his arrogance he shook my hand and walked. Lol sad...I drove 5 miles away to HGreg... and 3 hrs later had the car I wanted , same year, less miles...under 10k.... no BS.... Tropical u suck!!!! Not because I didint get my car for my price but because u waisted my time for a week and changed price at me at the last moment. But this sucker was smarter....bye.

I had the most amazing experience at Tropical Chevrolet yesterday. I initially spoke to the GM Danny Sanguily who went above and beyond to meet my needs. I wanted a VW Atlas which they didn't carry and he ordered the car and had it delivered for me. Noemi was an absolute pleasure! She had all the paperwork prepped PRIOR to arriving to the dealer, making this a quick transaction. She was very helpful. I would DEFINITELY return to this dealer!

I love the car so far; however, my trade-in was not paid off in accordance with the time frame specified under Florida State Law (F.S. 319.24(5)(a)) - i.e. 10 days. Be careful with your trade-in and make sure they pay it off in a timely matter!

This is the best dealership I have ever been to. The staff is very organized, polite, and were willing to work with us to get a great car for our price range. David (sales) and Jay (finance) were both great and made us feel like we weren't just another sale. They even filled up our new car's gas tank after the purchase without us even asking! Check it out. Im an idiot for buying the car while it was raining. Right when i got home i noticed there was birds chirping in the engine. Couldnt hear it over the rain. Took it to Pembroke Pines Chevy the next day and they replaced the belt and the tensioner(said the belt onoly had 4 of the 6 ribs left on it and the spring was completely broken and i was lucky i even made it there) Also be4 they released the car to me they did the recall on the steering or something and they forgot to even mark it in the computer Pemborke Pines almost did it again until they relized it was already done. SMH. Then the squeaking was still there and it was some gasket around the dipstick took Pines chevy 4 seperate days over a 10 day peroiod to figure it out. Was some gasket around the dipstick. And i did make them promise to patch it for me. But its actaully been a terrible buying experience i dont even trust bringing my car back to them. Dont want anyone there touching my car! TROPICAL CHEVROLET ON BISCAYNE! DO NOT GO THERE! The guy who does the paperwork at the end lied to me as well trying to get me to buy 4 year warranty said i only have 10 months left on worranty that the guy be4 bought it in 2012. Was all lies. Found out from pines i still had 26 months warranty left.SMH Anyhow So i called my salesman(yojano) about the leather patch they owed me like 5 times within 2 weeks always promised a call back and never got one. So i called the dealership and talking to Indiana and Indie (two girls there) on 3 seprate occasion also promising to call me back when they figure it out. Never did. Finally i called to speak to general manger(almost a month since i bought the car at this point) on 3 or 4 seperate occasions and they always tell me hes not in or in a meeting they wont let me talk to him! So i talked to another manager and he said to bring it in wanted me to drop it off so they can send it somewehre to get patched he was very rude cant remember his name. I dont want them anywhere near my car. Most unprofessional dishonest and worst buying experience ive ever had. But the car is running great now and i love it! Just gotta patch the leather so it doesnt rip more. DONT GO TO TROPICAL CHEVEROLET!

Parts not easy to deal with. Wanted to use a $50 GM rewards certificate. They did not know how to process. Then an indignant employment came from the back to let me know I was wrong and need to go to service for them to handle it. ...Just went to pick up my parts after I was told to come in. Santana in Parts said I have to goto service to get the R.O. I did. Then I walked across the dealership back to parts. Then he told me I have to go back to service to have someone from over there come back with me to hand me the parts from there. Forget this place..horrible for Customer Service...

I had the pleasure of working with Lisa today to get my oil changed/tire rotation. She was so sweet and helpful. I received the best customer service and my car was completed in less than an hour. They even offered to drop me off at my home while I waited. Will be using this location again for my next service.

Fatal. I left without paying. Call the seller. They didn't know I went back to the dealer. I paid and they didn't give me a help wheel or a full cucarachaass compressor. I broke the key and they asked me $$ 2060 for the copy. 1 ....... the American who attended to me told him that I was too much and he told me not to work gratius. That disgust of customer service for God. Once you bought the clothes, nothing matters.

This review is on the service department at Tropical Chevrolet. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Lisa Glynn. Her customer service was excellent. She kept me well informed on what was going on with my vehicle, what Maintenace was recommended, and how long it would take. I expressed concern over a shaking that was happening with my car and to my surprise everything was taken care of under warranty (the shaking). I was there a long time from 9:45am until 2:30pm so if you don t have the day to waste I suggest dropping off the vehicle. Lisa is an awesome representation of Tropical Chevrolet!

This place has been around for years, I went there to purchase a Chevy SS, they didn't have it which was expected, its a very rare car, but I was told one was going to be delivered the following day from a separate dealer and i should receive a call the following day, 3 weeks late I decided to give up on the call and purchase the vehicle else ware.

This dealer was a huge waste of time. The staff seems lazy as if they don t want to help, all the while there was no other buyers. They have a 2017 bolt priced online at $24,477, I called to confirm that the price online was correct and I spoke to a sales rep Anaya who said yes that s the correct price. When I get there they told me it s a mistake and that the price is no where near, that many people have called requesting that car. I explained that they should not waste people time with bait & fish technique. Will never go back to this dealer!!!! Be ware of Price trickery!!!!!

I don't normally give bad reviews because I work in the service industry. But I just have to let you know how disappointed I am with my first and last service experience I had. I went in to this dealership for a regular maintenance. I drive a Chevy Spark and got complimentary service when I bought my car. And when I got there I asked if they were busy and the advisor did say they had a rush of people before I got there. So I did expect to wait. And I did. From the vehicle taken in to ready took exactly 1hour 30min. That was OK. But what isn't is no inspection was presented. I didn't want to fuss because I wanted to get out. Now I clearly need wipers front and rear. And it's not like it can go bad in a week. My biggest concern is was the car even inspected. Just because I don't pay for my services why should I get second class service. If I am going to wait at least give the service I deserve. Now I know why my email wasn't asked for because they probably know how bad the service is and don't want bad surveys.

I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or pre own vehicle. Thays a BDC rep were very patience and an answered all my questions. Gave her a call before going there and she will have everything ready for you.

I called to ask a question about a service price and Maria from service answered the question and hung up without verifying if I needed additional help, which I did. I thought that it was about customer service, shouldn t the customer dismiss the call, not the representative. I guess if it s not about them making money , they don t have time to answer questions. You should train your advisors to ask your prospective customers is there anything else I can help you with? before hanging up on them. Since your company lacks customer service skills , I am now going to Jiffy Lubes to get the work done because Maria wasn t patient enough to see if I needed help with anything else.

As of today 07/16/2020 Chevy Tropical has had my car on their hands for 50 days, it was damaged during a heavy rain and I had it towed directly to them since my car it s a Chevy vehicle I assumed that would be the best place to tow it to.
After 3 weeks they notified me that the vehicle had to be towed from their body shop to their service warehouse ( Miami shores) where 1 week after I got a text message from them asking me what was wrong with the car and if I knew where the keys were. ( 1 month after they received the vehicle) now after multiple times of visiting the dealership asking for answers. They still haven t fixed my car or have any updates.
Lauren who was in charge of my car is out sick with covid 19, yet I saw multiple employees not wearing masks or taking any precautions, mr Vera the service director, fooled me into thinking that he was going to help me out and nothing has happened. Thank you to Roxy that got me a loaner otherwise I would be without a vehicle.

I would like to start this review with I have three chevys sitting in my driveway. All bought from tropical Chevrolet because my friend was working there. Unfortunately he is now deceased. Ever since it's all been down hill with the service of our SUV's. I bought a Chevy suburban brand new and followed up with all the suggestive services that the service department recommended and thousands of dollars later they told me I need a new engine . How is this possible. When you Google this there is a problem with GM motors engine which is in Chevy Suburban.
I had tropical Chevrolet rebuild my engine and now about a year and and 3/4 I went in for an oil change and they told me my engine is having the same problem and the have to open up my engine again and I have
To pay for it again. I called GM and the the person that called me back did nothing but hang up on me after telling me I have to incur all costs to repair the engine again. The funny thing is when they repaired the engine The first time they said that they had to replace everything and it like a new engine. I spoken to Paul and he said he was going to investigate and call me back. It's been 3 weeks and no call back. As of right now I have a case # with GM and no call back . Chevrolet main headquarters said they would call me right back that same day It's been 3 days. No call back. I just bought myself an early Christmas present and guess what type of car or engine is in that car? Lucky guess it's not Chevy or has a GM motor in it. I'm in the process of getting rid of the other 2 Chevy's sitting in my driveway and getting non Gm motor cars .
This was my 3rd Chevy Suburban ,2 Chevy equinox. Never will I buy another Chevy again. And i will pass on this experience to everyone I encounter. It's ridiculous service and I'm very dissampionted that a big company can try to rip people off .
I'm contacting an attorney as I speak because this billion dollar company refuses to accept accountability.
There is a lot more to explain about this and about similar situations with other owners but there not enough time to do it. GM has defective engine in Chevy surbaban and avoid buying them. Hit the hand symbol if you feel the same about GM .

Parts department quoted me $254 for a rear mirror for my Chevy truck. Lots of attitude too. I was the only person there. I hunted around for the same part from parts shop. It only cost $21 dollars. This place is a total blatant rip off.

This place is horrifying. I took my new BMW to get repaired there because it was recommended by my insurance agency. The work they did on my bumper looked like I took it to some guy in the back alley to get fixed for $50. There were many scratches on it and the paint job was very uneven. On top of that they put some extra small dents on other parts of my bumper and even doors. They claimed to have washed the car but it reality it was a lot dirtier than when I brought it in. My light interior had black stains all over the back seats and some blue like ink stains on the floor. There were dog hairs everywhere, and dark prints all over the seats. I had to pay a $500 deductable to my insurance agency after all of this. I learned my lesson not to bring a luxury car to a cheap car dealership.

Passed by one day just to window shop and the best car salesman (Alfredo Hiller) ended up selling me a Corvette for the best price in town. With the help of Alfredo and Omar I left there content.

Went in to the dealership after driving around the area one day. My sales man was Alfredo Hiller, and it surprised me that since I arrived he was so courteous and attentive. A1 service and not pressured at all. Manager Diego was very nice also and did all he could to help.
