Sales person was great. I have given Omar enough time to resolve the "promised issue" (all text conversation on my phone). I have obviously given up. I was enticed to co-sign for my son's car with Omar promising in front of the finance guy that he will provide a release to the bank after paying the car 2 month, releasing me as a co-signer. It's the ONLY reason that I co-signed. Which as a man, I respected his promise. After the 2 payments, I reached out to Omar and reminded him and he said he would, but never updated me. After the 4th payment, Omar doesn't even respond to my text nor picks up the phone. It's sickening to know that people (Omar) and finance guy can literally look into your soul and lie. I am a single mom and adding this excessive $ amount to my credit report has prohibit me to do thing that I need to do. It's a shame that I dealt with such a nice salesperson, beautiful showroom and due to toxic people, I won't be returning. FYI: Omar too was nice and personal that's what's scary in todays world. The greed of money.

My girlfriend and I went to this place referred by a letter from Alliance encouraging us to do bussines with these guys based on our Credit History,once there we were escorted and began the tradein and financing of a new vehicle very by Cisco Nieves,a very kind a very professional Sales representative.the business went smooth and were very happy to leave the premises wih a new 2014 Spark Chevrolet,we were really very excited and looking forward to do more future bussines with this Dealer until....after a week enjoying our new car it was confiscated by those wolves also forced us to take our old car back because of some ridiculous discrepancies with our paystubs...And in spite of all this nonsense heartbreaking and outrageous atrocity commited by these unprofessional Bank Goons they tried to suggest without remorse to come back later in a year...I wont spend a dollar in this crappy pace ever again...
I appreciated them trying to put me in a car but they ran my credit through like 5 different banks without my knowledge. And they didn t allow me to leave after I told I had to be somewhere else. The person helping me was nice but the process was trash.
I use to provide maintenance for my Chevrolet Malibu on Jiffy lube but after an inflated bill from them I came to Tropical and I get surprised for the prices. I recommends Chevrolet owners go to certified dealers since out there you can get a false bill.

Hidden Fees and Tricks
Internet Price for a Chevy Cruze LT 2018 was $11985, I call ahead to make sure that was the right price, the person who help me over the phone said: "yes, that will be the real Price".
then I said I don't want to go there and waste my time cause the price has hidden fees, and she said: "don't worried that's the price you will get" I said ok, let me go
when I get there the price was like $17 000 because I have to have GM Lease and GM Card and other GM service to qualify for the $11985 advertise price, and I said: "why when I ask over the phone you said that was the price?, if you would it ask me if I have any of those GM promotions, I wouldn't waste my time
not to mention that just to get an offer I spend like 2 hours seating there

our usual account rep P*** was great and treated us nice he received a recent promotion which is great for him but L*** our new rep has been caught in several lies tring to just buy time untill our repairs are done she called us and said that the tech damaged two bolts tring to remove the head then later the manager called and stated the the bolts were found that way!! over all poor service and we will be going to another dealer with all our future business

Look, I don't ever write reviews. But in this case I just have to because of the perfect teamwork and customer service we experienced. So, the wife and I came in a couple of weeks ago just to browse a few pre-owned cars, and Alfredo was fantastic. Super chill, tons of patience, exactly what we needed, and afterwards remained available for our questions without being pushy or anything. Yesterday, after spending all day checking out other dealerships, Tropical Chevy was our final stop. With Alfredo being off, Tamer took over and helped that indecisive bunch that my wife and I sometimes are make the right decision (thanks for the laughs, too). The sales manager (Sofiane) played his part in sealing the deal, then handing over to the finance manager (Eddie) who got us through the paperwork in no time. And they did all of this while making us feel comfortable and dealing with our quirkiness. Oh, and AFTER everything was signed and sealed, they topped it off with a gift. What a place.

I brought my C7 vette in to have some parts replaced, which I had ordered previously in the week when i scheduled my service appointment.
Upon arrive at 8am, as scheduled, the service advisers had no record of my appointment. After explaining that I had been in and spoken with an advisor who took my details and told me to return at 8am on Friday, but who gave me no paperwork, I got the feeling that they believed I was just making up some story...as if I would go and purchase parts from the parts department, and then drive 40min at 7am on a Friday to play games.
It then took 2hrs to then be told I needed to buy an additional $400 in parts which also needed to be replaced.
I'm not annoyed by the $400, I'm annoyed that it took 2hrs to remove 15 bolts when I was there first thing in the morning, the extended wait time, again precipitated by the outside service advisor failing to schedule the appointment properl.
All in all I was there for about 4.5hrs for what should have been no more than 90min with the wait for the additional parts.
The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the gentlemen in parts I worked with was great, and the service advisor I worked with today did a good job of salvaging what could have been a terrible experience by rebuilding the relationship with his attention to detail with the various parts I needed to have replaced.
Its difficult to maintain quality relationships with customers when simple stuff like appointment management starts everything off on a sour note.
If mgmt is reading this, I'd make it a point to remind your service staff that every interaction, no matter how seemingly immaterial or receptive it might be, is essential to the greater goal, which is customer satisfaction.
Not the worst experience I've had at a dealership, but certainly not the best either.
My planned repair was made impossible due to the actions of the tow truck drivers involved - one which was a vendor of Chevrolet - soon it became clear the individual was going to be of no help. Luckily for me Chris Brown stepped in and took control of the situation - sent him away, helped me get transportation and told me the situation would be handled. Chris was off the next day, and Steven Picado made contact with me of his own accord (when does that happen?) and gave me an update on the car- and he handled the rest of the transaction. These two made a very negative situation tolerable - and turned what could have been quite a scar on the reputation of Chevy in my eyes, into a positive.
I want you to know how unsatisfied I was with the service I received on 02/18/2016. I originally came to repair a seat belt recall that was a scheduled appointment, while I was there I decided to do an oil change since I needed one. After hours of waiting for a call from your company, I decided to call and see if my car was ready and came to pick it up. The service consultant didn't inform me that the job was not completed and that I needed to reschedule my appointment, all he gladly did was walk me to the cashier to pay for the oil change. When I got inside my car I saw that the problem was not resolved, but I did not have time to go back inside and talk to him, because I had to pick up my children from school. Its just mind boggling to me that something that takes 15 minutes at a local oil and lube company and half the price to do, took your company 5 hours. So basically I paid your company to waste my day and time to be incompetent and unhelpful . It would have been nice if someone contacted me to make me aware that the part wasn't available and I needed to reschedule my appointment. But since its all about the money and not the customer service, you guys didn't care. Its just real sickening and I expected better from a brand like Chevy but I guess I was mistaken. Thanks for not helping me resolve my problem and wasting my valuable time. Feel free to contact me , if you want to discuss how horrible my experience was.
Had my car serviced and Maria Reyes was amazing she helped me all the way and went above and beyond for me she made sure I got everything I needed. I love this dealer never once had an issue with them this dealer is amazing. Service staff are all an elite team and will do whatever it takes to make customers happy Tropical Chevy has gained a loyal customer for many years to come nothing but smiles on this end. Very bad attention. I took my car for a factory revision, it should take 30 minutes and wait 1 hour just to tell me that they didn't have the part. I had to go back another day, wait 2 more hours. They returned it with stripes in the paint and I don't know They took over.
I purchased my 1st Chevy today. The experience at Tropical was great, The Sales Manager Eddie Caldoron and Salesman Harris McBride along with Minelli Reyes and Lisa Glynn made this purchase easy and painless process. After selecting my vehicle the Finance Manager Amy Williams walked me through all the warranties with a full understanding. This was one the best experience and I would recommend anyone to Tropical Chevy.
If you refer someone and want to get the check they give you the run around and ignore your calls,to get the deal done they do all they need to but not when it s time to pay the person who referred them.I asked for manager and they clicked and clicked on my phone call.They need to hire people who pick up the phones and actually help you locate or find the problem.
The whole Tropical Chevrolet team was professional and honest, and as a new buyer I LOVE that. I do want to thank Thays once again, for taking the stress away from buying a new vehicle. I reccomend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or pre owned vehicle.

I went in for a simple oil change. Simple is not how I'd describe this process at this dealership! The first issue arose when the concierge, Maria, presented the platinum oil change package for $117. Is it really necessary to upsell this package immediately?! I would've offered multiple options and let the customer decide. I then had to explain that we have a coupon for the oil change. She honored our request, but ofcourse seemed hesitant to the fact. We waited a little over an hour, for Maria to come explain that the plug for the oil change needed to be replaced, as it was stripped. I explained "how are we supposed to know that the technician here didn't strip it"? She then decided to take us to the manager. It should be understood that prior to coming in we had no leaks or issues with the oil. He then stated it will be $25 extra to replace the plug. Seriously?! A simple plug I can go purchase for $5! Yeah they can charge more for parts, but $25! The manager then takes us to the technician. This technician, no judgement, looked as if he was an apprentice or still in high school. Still wondering if he stripped the plug. I then requested if they could work with me on this obscene charge for a plug. The service manager talked to the parts manager and he explained it was 28.95 they will give it to us for $21! Ha! At this point, two hours of our day had been wasted. I said that's fine, which ofcourse was not fine, but we had work to get back to. Finally, after its all said and done, we paid $83 for a basic full synthetic oil change with a coupon! I've changed my own oil many times, but this is my girlfriend's car and was under the impression that a dealership would do a good job! Overall, very dissatisfied with this level of service!

The place is one step BELOW a flea market, at least a flea market you usually leave with something. I would give them Zero stars if I could. Went in with a trade and they tried to screw me so bad offering 50-60% LESS Than the TMV & KBB TRADE IN value. Tried to steer me into a 2018 because it s a better deal than the 2017 s with employee pricing and the Costco deal. As they were going back and forth in Spanish, (And I only speak English, which I thought was extremely rude in itself). Then instead of factory leather they tried to get me to put after market leather in a special facility- because it s cheaper. (KICKBACKS) I wasted 3 hours while they screwed around, demanded my credit being run and then tried to get me to FINANCE A $65,000. TAHOE LS LS! Not a premier at $1300-1400 a month. All Because the lease deals weren t good, and then to top it off the finance manager was only concerned with how much cash I could put down as 3-4K and they wanted more. There is a reason they have 500+ cars in stock. Tropical Chevrolet you can GFY and for the GOOD people looking out there DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, WHAT A COMPLETE JOKE! Dont trust the 5 stars, they are probably fake. STAY AWAY THIS SCAM OPERATION!!!
