Trend Financial is the biggest scam I've had to encounter. My fiance purchased a vehicle and received financing through Trend and it has been a nightmare ever since. The information contained in the reviews posted by Debbie Farnum and Denise Grant is 100% true and accurate. It was explained that the $2,000 was a down payment on the vehicle which indicates that it would be the price tag minus the down payment to be owed and financed. That is not the case. Like other reviews state, they tack it on. The service is also beyond disgusting. Name calling and belittling a client is not professional by any standard. The staff at Trend never know anything and contradict one another.

In addition, the vehicle was purchased from tAuto in Toronto and due to the continued breakdowns we are forced to seek alternative options. When looking at vehicles at dealerships in the Niagara Region, who also deal with Trend, we were strongly advised to figure out how to get out of the loan and never make that mistake again as they deal with them as an absolute last resort but don't recommend Trend.

Please, people don't make the same mistakes some of us have made. Find other options.

If I could give this company a ZERO star rating I would! firstly, their customer service is GARBAGE!! they do not care about their customers at all! being a first time car owner if you can avoid this 3rd party company please do!!!!! Being someone who bought their first car with bad credit is exciting and nerve-racking all at the same time! my interest rate is through the roof. which is expected.. I was able to get my car thanks to trend. I am currently a customer with trend and i am not pleased at all! I have been increasing my payments calling every 3 months for buyouts because I am so anxious to pay off my care being a young adult with lots of things to pay and goals to achieve this is so important to pay this off quickly. I had saved for a couple of months and made a 900 dollar additional payment. I called and asked for a buyout after that she sent me one but the cost was the same and I found that odd. she said she's call me back on this matter. Instead of calling me like she said she would. she sent me an email with the 1000 correction. no sorry, no phone call. Tell me how i am suppose to feel comfortable with a company like trend handling my money this loan that I am so desperately trying to get rid of if they are making big mistakes like that.. avoiding the customer, no apology and no type of customer service I called in and heard that some customers qualify for an interest rate decrease but because of one payment that was messed up a while ago but I am constantly change increasing payments and changing dates I missed it. :"its their policy 16 months of straight payments to be eligible for decrease." My point is there should be some type of customer service or type of happy medium for the customer some type of bend for customers especially when they made a mistake that was not handled properly it was basically fixed and I was ignored. the whole time speaking with this manager all he was doing was explaining on how the mistake happened and that was about it. He called me back with no intention of trying to make me happy, trying to again bend a little bit for a customer, who clearly is trying to do whatever in their power to pay and very upset and uneasy about the massive mistake that was made. ..

My only complaint would be the high nsf they charg...

My only complaint would be the high nsf they charge you for a late payment but if you call in advance, changes in payment frequency, late payments and payment arrangements we're dealt pretty easily. All in all, good experience. I likely will be buying one of their in house cars in the spring. Good prices, good cars and good interest rates. Also, at the end of thew term they were very flexible with finalising everything. There was a bit of a balance left over after my last payment and they helped me through it.

Absolutely a predatory company that exploits the most vulnerable car purchasers in the market, namely low income/ poor credit families looking for a safe for their children. My daughter bought a nightmare vehicle from these vultures that ended up costing double the purchase price due to costly repairs. Absolutely unscrupulous business practices. Any solutions offered by this company when the product the sell break down are cleverly disguised ploys to embed the customer deeper into debt. Furthermore how could anyone trust the credibility of on line reviews written by former employees? As a matter of fact I wouldn't trust anything these carpet- naggers had to say

I've dealt with Trend financial twice. Unfortunately after my first dealing with them I had absolutely no desire to deal with them a second time however circumstances made it my only possibility to get a vehicle fast. My first time around as a first time buyer I was locked into a interest rate of 18 percent.. if I had made every payment I was told that I was able to have it dropped 6 percent after 18 months. Trend tried to avoid this because I had a misunderstanding in terms of my insurance, but had long fixed the issue but because they received a counselation letter the said they were not obligated to give me a 6% drop in interest like promised. Took me a week and speaking to almost every agent to get this resolved.this happened in 2013. My second vehicle with them they gave me an interest rate too 11% which is still really high for someone who was a previous customer and obtained perfect payments always on time never missed one nor had the intentions too. This time there was no promise to reduce the interest rate (as they knew I was capable of making every single payment.) My contract was even longer then my first one. They called me on stuff that was unrelated to my file, counselation of insurance (never happened) wanted me to pay a fee because conveniently my deductible was unacceptable according to their policy after already being so for about 12 months. I had to either change it or pay a 300+ dollar fee.. I had a situation where I needed a bigger vehicle and I was almost going to get a third finance loan for a bigger vehicle they then offered a 13% interest rate at a 36 month contract even more then what I was currently paying keep in mind I had made every payment at this time, had two contracts in perfect standing. Lastly when it came to my buy out and to do ownership change over I had asked for a one day switch over inwhich I was asked to be in Toronto an hour distance from my location for 10 am and they would be heading off to MTO around 12pm and I would be out of there by 2pm well let me tell you that was so far from the truth. They didn't leave until 2:30pm and weren't back until after 4:30. Trend has since been in contact with me and has cleared up some of their organization issues, they seem to be on the right path to running a successful business. I sincerely hope they do so that their future and current customers do not have similar issues that I have faced. I thank trend for the reimbursement in gas as well as for my time wasted and the safety that I had. I was very thankful for the kindness after posting such review and doing their best to fix things. I can't say I would, or wouldn't consider trend in the future as I'm currently saving to purchase my next vehicle in cash, but I will say because of their effort and genuine manner in wanting to repairs things if ever I was in a position where I needed a financial loan to purchase a vehicle I would consider trend. They definitely restored our business relationship. I think with the right tools and organization trend could be a great company.

Very disappointed with this company, I have been with them for almost 3 years now. With a pandemic happening in the world and all companies helping their customers through financial hardship, this company does not have a heart, they don't care about there customers as long as they get there payment. Even though government said companies for loans, ie- car payments can be deferred up to 6 months, this company DID NOT CARE ABOUT THAT, and there finance department has the worst bunch of employees and managers working there they are rude and disrespectful, behavior that I have ever spoken to in my life.
Please if your looking for an auto loan pay an the extra % then to work with this company which was bought out by Axis Auto Finance, which are still same disrespectful people under another name. I have posted to all social media as well to the Ford office, with how this company works with there customers through this pandemic. PLEASE STAY AWAY DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THAT HAS NO HEART FOR THERE CUSTOMERS. My biggest regret is to ever work with this company.

Worst company please run...all staff need to be re-trained at least show empathy and learn how to deal with customers...seriously every time I call I'm always in attack mode because of these un helpful un trained reps...even when it is there error they put he blame on you. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. and I stil have a few more years to pay off this lemon vehicle. Trend had made a pap error and the blame was placed soley on me. Instead of apologizing and trying to help me resolve the problem I was treated horribly and laughed at by 2 reps. Please stay away and save your sanity.

Worst customer service ever!! STAY AWAY
i have been in customer service for over 10 years and have never seen anything like this.
i have been in communication with some one over email and every email this person sends instead of solving my questions they tell me to call in or come to there office.
i got a car leased from these people 2 years ago and now i want to buy out and so far i have paid $6,225.56 and now they are telling me my buy out will be $12,214.16, which is ludicrous because the selling price of the car was $8500 or so plus taxes and warranty and there $2,240 Mark up- it came out to be around $15000. plus i put down $3850 so in total they are trying to tell me that this car is costing me $22,289.72.
now the problem is there calculations are all over the place and the person im dealing with is unable to tell why my buy out is that much, plus there paper work is also all over the place, one page says i have a rate of 12.95% and on another it says its 15.95%.

everyone dealing with these people should make sure that there paper work aligns with what they are actually receiving.

So disappointed.
I contacted Trend Financial this afternoon - at first i was talking to someone and she put me on hold 3 times in 30 seconds without letting me know and then transfers me to someone. I had to go over all the security questions again because they are so unorganized.

My car is under parking insurance and my keys and plates are with them. But i need it for a day or two to move the car from the driveway as we are renovating the house and need the car moved for a couple days to the other end of the house. The representative said i will have to get full ocverage in order to do that.

When i asked to speak to a supervisor she put me on hold for EXACTLY 1 second and then tells me that no supervisor is available. That was quick! When i asked who i should ask for when i call back she said no one because they will tell me the same thing she said.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. WORST ORGANIZATION SKILLS.
why have supervisor in an organization when you can't talk to them to resolve your concerns?

4:15 pm UPDATE: The manager got back to me with a response saying that my issue was not needed to be escalated to either his or any of the supervisor's attention - attached a photo below - shows how their customer service is.

If the manager services the customers like that - i totally get why the rest of the employees are so terrible with their customer service.

I have been with this company for 3 years, I originally gave them 5 stars after an issue had arisen on their end and they were quick to fix it. However I was due a refund this refund is still not in my account! My issue happened July 10th it's now August 21st! Ridiculous..... I have nothing good to say anymore.

I had no clue about these guys until i was at a dealership and the sale agent suggested this company. Other than the ridiculous high fees and interest rate I had no issues with this company. Plain and simple pay ur bills on time and u don't have a problem. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was not getting my secondary key like I was told I would have once my loan was up. I don't think it's right they hand u a dud and say "take it up with the dealership u bought the car from". The repo program they have is something I may consider in the long run but who knows. :/

This company is disgusting and as close to criminal as I have seen. My daughter got a car from a dealership and this is the company they use for financing!!! Not only is their policy on money down ridiculous since they qualify it as a security deposit instead of a down payment this allows them to charge interest on the full amount of car purchase. This was never explained to her and they definitely took advantage of the fact that she was new to the world of financing and a student who was just excited to have her first car! Value of car they have does not match the bill of sale from dealership and once they tack on their fees the car that was purchased for a total of about 5200 with a 2000 down payment has a total lease cost of $9766.60! That is disgusting. Please stay away from this company folks. Look around for a reputable company. It will be worth the wait and for god sakes have someone check the lease agreement before you commit!!! Either a lawyer or at least an accountant even someone at your bank just don't do business with them is the safe bet!

Worst customer service ever. Takes forever to get an answer about anything. Doesnt report payments or reports payments incorrectly to credit bureaus. Advertises as a loan or financing but is really lease to own with loads of fees added in. End up paying 3 times what the car is actually worth by the end. Do not use them or their parent company Axis. You will regret it.

Worst company ever....run run as far as you can from them. Recently bought a car 2 months ago from tAUTO and now have a blown Engine! Learn from my poor decision to go with this company, please don't learn the hard way as I am now. Contacted the customer service and was basically laughed at and told oh well, going through all the avenues to get help and gets tons of push back from TREND! Was quoted from their mechanics $3900 + tax warranty they have only covers $1200 + tax to = $1500...the rest I get to pay for. Like I said only had the car for 2 months when it was safetied & certified to be great! (Laughable) as far as I am concerned they can go ahead an re REPO their pos car I seriously could care less right about now. So once again don't learn the hard way as I am doing now and never ever work with this company!!!

Been a few months now was relatively happy with my downpayment and biweekly..but now I've just had a completely unauthorized random $190 be taken out of my account due to what they called some sort of error made by one of their own Personnel so after spending an hour total over two separate occasions (and listening to the worst waiting music imaginable) to get somebody on the phone (so we could stop playing voicemail tag as i do work mon-fri) they tell me I have to first show them proof that this in fact came out of my account even though I know it did and that's the only reason I'm calling them and they can see it right there but now I have to send a photo confirmation of the money taken out of my account wait for them to reverse the transaction and I asked if there will be any compensation for all of my time and frustration and I am told no i will get my money back and that's it. . that is absolutely sad customer service I am not happy at all and due to this I am already looking forward to being done with my payment terms with them and moving on to another company who can actually treat me right and appreciate my business the fact that this can even happen is a disgrace..a company with their act together would have it impossible for unauthorized amounts to be taken out. .I'm paying 20% interest for borrowing their money but they steal mine out of my account and i gotta jump thru hoops and wait probably a week to get it back with no compensation. .I'm furious. .

You do not realize that you are being screwed. Do not buy a vehicle from any dealer that deals with them. They are also ripping you off big time. I don't know how these people can sleep at night. They are worse than loan sharks. Please be warned, don't make the same mistake. I will be going to BBB, media and any one that will listen so others don't fall for it.

UPDATE: As you can see, this company responded quickly to our dealership's review of their organization, however they only tried to accuse us being a competitor. No, we are a dealer that has had too many relations with this company in the past and simply can not go on with their awful customer service and industry high (should be criminal) fees they build into their leases. Also, notice how they did not refute the fact they employ a convicted auto fraud felon in a VP role? It's because it is true. RUN!

Without a doubt, this is the most unorganized, deceptive, technologically backwards company I have ever dealt with. If you are a dealer trying to run a decent business PLEASE RUN from these guys. They do not answer their phone, lose you deals, and have the rudest and most incompetent employees in the business. They also charge next to criminal overall rates when you factor in their exorbitant fees associated with their leases. The company actually employs a convicted auto fraud felon on their management team in a VP role. Seriously, I can't make this stuff up. RUN RUN RUN if you are a dealer or a customer walking into a dealership that is pushing this crap. I'm sure the company will respond saying I am a not a customer, etc... but I'm just a person wanting to warn people of the type of program and employees this place has.

The car was seen by there NON-LICENSE technician who was not able to detect this issue and 2 days before my warranty is done my motor blows. Than told i had to cover it myself. I would not recommend this place for a loan at all. The fees are ridiculous and for everything. If you want to buy out your loan early its a fee of 98.00 just to have printed. If you lose your job no compassion at all. There is no mercy for the clients. I lost my job and had threats made that they were coming to repo my vehicle instead of reducing the interest they kept charging me 95.00 for missed payments until it was almost too costly to catch up. Rude customer service and being onhold usually more than a half an hour. Do yourself a favour and choose other financial institutions to get a loan. Absolutely horrible company to deal with.

First and foremost... To get a hold of customer service... you have to wait a minimum of 40-45 minutes on the phone before someone answers. I've called 8 times in 4 days all at different times and it is the same thing every single time. I never seen customer service that makes its customers wait almost an hour before they can speak to an individual. Next some of the agents are kind, truthful, while others lie and you end up getting screwed over because the lie they told you. I lost over $50 in fees because a LIE i was told by the agent. Not sure if it was intentional as she was nice, but still got screwed over and management didn't care to credit it.

Currently financing a vehicle through trend financial and it's been great customer service. Very helpful and friendly operator who advised me if I ever have any issues they are very lenient with payment options.
Also have a great interest rate with my bad credit.

Bad customer service. Started off their email by stating "dear valued customer" but really it was threats of additional fees, reposession and de-plating because I was switching insurance companies and had not notified them yet. My insurance is still valid for another month and all my payments are to date. Now i get an email with a $75 fee just because they had to open an envelope with a cancel notice. Do yourself a favour and find another financing company.

Working for TREND Financial in the past in the cus...

Working for TREND Financial in the past in the customer service department, I can truly say that everything about this company is EXTREMELY professional. There are security measures, and proper communication skills which is taught to each individual employee to ensure all customers were taken care of. I've seen a lot of companies try to bash TREND Financial but after working for them for almost a year, you really get to know the people who are behind the scenes and the extent they go to, to satisfy their customers. My supervisor Tyler was super awesome! I really enjoyed my time working there.

I don't even know where to begin with this company...

I don't even know where to begin with this company. I financed 2 vehicles. The one I paid off and had the safety so Trend would be removed from the ownership. Trend apparently lost/said they did not receive the safety. I was not informed of this. I sent them a copy of the safety and they told me it was 30 days past the date and wanted another safety. The also lost the 2nd key to this vehicle. VEHICLE NUMBER 2 OUR ABSOLUTE NIGHT NIGHT MARE. I bought a dodge calibre. We picked this car up and my husband followed me and noticed the tires were slanted in. We had the car towed home 250kms. The garage informed us that this car should never have been sold in this condition and it should have never passed a safety. Trend agreed to pay for the repairs so it could be certified. The repairs took 3 weeks. About 2 days later we were driving and the car went from 100kms down to 20kms and we were fortunate the person behind us did net rear end us. I called trend and informed them that this car has been a problem and I wanted it returned. They said I could not return it because I only had 7 days from the date of of purchase to exchange it. EVEN THOUGH THIS CAR SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN SOLD CERTIFIED. I took a car in exchange but trend only allowed me $1000.00 down payment and charge the rest to the purchase of the care. The car that was dangerous was on site 3 days later for the full cost we were charged and was certified. Now I know I have a responsibility to make my car payments. Unfortunately I had a health issue and it nearly cost me my life. I have worked hard to keep my payments made. I made arrangements to bring my acct upto date in full. I noticed they only took one payment out and I called them to find out why. APPARENTLY this 2nd vehicle has now gone to legal. Meaning they may re- process this care. OMG!!!!!! I tried to have a conversation with someone in legal department and she tore me to pieces. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. At this point they can come an get this vehicle.

Thumbs Down!! :( It took Trend two weeks to finally have all the info they needed (believe me, they asked for the world), they asked for a tonne of info. just for us to buy our car that we desperately needed.

Our car that we had purchased had been ready for a day, but because Trend still felt they didn't have enough info. from us, the dealership that we bought our car from couldn't let us have the car.

I felt like such a criminal, we had to prove everything, I'm surprised they didn't want a sample of our DNA too.

It was a very upsetting and frustrating experience, and very high interest rate too!! Don't recommend this company to any one........ :( :(

Their fee schedule is rediculous ($90 for an NSF - crooks!). Do not actually care only want to suck every penny they can from you. After a year of perfect payments they refused to work with me to get another vehicle . The buyout they claim is different than the schedule i was given when I purchased the car (yet I have followed all of their payments).

Got the application for Trend Financial from the shop selling the pick-up truck. We were able to fill out the application on-line and the process was quick. We were treated with dignity by a company that knows we aren't on the "A-list" of buyers, so that was a pleasure. Totally recommend this company!

I was stuck with another company that traped me in a 40% intrest finance with a vehicle that had mutiple safety issues but Mark and Daryl at Trend helped me get out of that unsafe car and into a truck I can afford and wanted. The worst company you can every go to. Do waste your time nor money!!!!!!! I wish my car dealer had informed of this company before having sign the document's. My car dealer advised that the car is worth $15,000 and trend is adding an extra $10,000 for a 2012 Chevy cruze. I had a 2015 Hyundai Sonata spets edition that's worth more but I paid less for. Please be wear this company is the bottom of the barrel, dirt, cow dun, new born diarrhea, shittiest place you can ever go. Please take the time to read the reviews. It''s not worth it at all!!! Just a side not, they don't communicate with anyone!!! Not even the person they are doing businews with. They depleted my car God knows when and have me driving around hoping I would get pulled over. Where does that make sense??

Dishonest company to deal with. READ ALL THE FINE PRINT, keep detailed notes and record all calls with this company. They charge an automatic finance/service fee as soon as you sign with them that is built into your monthly payments. 18-20 something percent of the amount you're borrowing. Even if you pay the entire amount owing a month later, you still pay the "service fee". They also charge outrageous NSF fees.I attempted to change my payment date, they didn't change it even though there are detailed notes on my account. The payment bounced and I'm being charged $90 by Trend. They would not reverse it even though I spoke to managers AND THEY SEE THE NOTES requesting the change be made. They had credited me NSF charges in the past because of errors they admitted THEY made by attempting to withdraw the payment before the date agreed on. And I am supposed to be thankful because they did me such a huge favor. Will never deal with them again.

Very helpful to get you into your car, they could careless after. Very slow to reply when you need them, quick to call/text/email you if they're chasing you down.

The communication is piss poor, as the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right is doing. Every time I call in, the information and the story is different. Reps don't seem very knowledgeable and had to check with management for quite a bit, I spend a decent amount of time on hold listening to their jingle playing while reps constantly check with management. Management doesn't seem to communicate either, as each manager has a different story. I've curious how they work in such disarray.

They're very deceitful and dishonest, whatever it takes to get the job done. We live in the 21st century where cellphones are capable of recording conversations and apps can tell you when emails have been received, opened and read.

I will be buying my vehicle out early this year, only reason I didn't buy cash to begin with was I wanted to help improve my credit score, but this isn't worth it. Bad credit doesn't equal low income, it means bad decisions in the past.

Would not recommend anyone to deal with this "financing company" - borderline loan shark with hidden clauses and fees not listed in your contract. You aren't operating with honesty & integrity, which I'm sure is something OMVIC constantly promotes.

I will be filing complants with Better Business Bureau and OMVIC, as well as contacting CTV's Consumer Alert.

If I could give them worse than a 1 star I would. While they had my vehicle in their possession while I was waiting to go and get my items from it. Their staff stole a bunch of items from my vehicle and broke things, they refused to give me everything from my vehicle and they even tried to give me stuff from other people vehicles!! When I contacted someone higher up they said they were going to email me a form to fill out for everything I was missing and had damaged and they would reimburse me. Of course the email never came. Every time I called back no one would take my call or call me back. They have had my address since I moved and have yet to send my paperwork for my vehicle and it's been over a year. Just checked my credit history and they are still making inquiries into my credit yet I have not been with them in over a year and a half. Stay away from this company at all costs!!!!! They even put me as a consignee on another vehicle without my permission and refused to remove me. Stupid company.

Been trying to contact these IDOITS for 3 days now via phone call and e-mail. Looks like they reply to the posts here more than the e-mails. They have 1 more day to reply before I really let them have it all over social media to warn people about them. YouTube, Instagram, Twitter , Facebook. Poor customer service is a form of disrespect and I don't play that disrespect feel me!?

this is the WORST company I've dealt with - no wonder why they changed there name after all the horrible reviews - they over charged me and when I asked for a refund of the money they took (without my permission) they gave me the run around with excuses and no help! - I had to wait for over a week for the manager to get in contact with me and when she finally did (after I called back once again for a follow up) she was no help and didn't care to listen or guide me to someone else who could help me with this issue - when you call them your on hold for at least 25 minutes - never again will I do business with this company and I would advise anyone NOT to as well because they are a SCAM!

Worst management, I finished my leasing 4 month ago and they have not contact me to send me spare key or paper work. Also the stuff is very rude. As a former employee at TREND Financial, I wanted to write this review. I think it's important to note that I was there for only about 6 months, but it served as an important part of my life and taught me many valuable skills.

This is a company that accepts diversity, creative solutions, and open-minded thinkers. The goal was always to approach the clients needs and establish a professional relationship in order to assist them in the best way possible. Truth be told, as any company that is seeing substantial growth, TREND had growing pains when I was there - there were changes constantly happening, however these changes were always a step forward towards a better future, both for their employees and, most importantly, their clients.

TREND Financial has played and continue to play a bright role in many people's lives. They do good, honest work and I am proud to say I used to work for them.

My vehicle was in their impound lot for a few weeks, Jose Blommestyn assured me nobody would go through or touch the vehicle contents and that my belongings would be safe. After receiving the vehicle I found out my belongings had been gone through and placed in a bag, some of my personal belongings were stolen. Jose made me sign a waiver releasing them from liability prior to releasing or viewing the vehicle. Be careful and use caution when dealing with this financial institution.

I wish I could give this 0 stars, because this company pulls some shady business!! Just recently before Christmas I purchased from 2007 volvo s40 and the price looked pretty good to buy and pay it off within 3 years tops and they let you drive it for 7 days and if you don't like it you can exchange it.... that's what they say but that's complete garage. I have a number of problems with the car like the brakes and engine light. Now I just got the car and it's in the 7 day exchange so I bring it back to them and they want to fix it and have me keep it. Ok I thought to myself but for 5 that's FIVE days straight they had the same problem come up with the car. Their mechanic says my car is suppose to screech in pain as brake because the car is old. Garbage because the second time I brought it to them they realized they gave cheap brakes that don't work with the car. Next the engine light, they tried a number of times to reset instead of fixing it until finally 7th day they get the actual parts needed to fix the problem. Now again I told them I want to see their other cars because I was skeptical but they said they work with me.. well I take the car to the mechanics the very next week because with no problems now he can actually check the car out properly and guess what... a seal on the crankshaft is leaking oil. My mechanic told me don't play around and get it taken care of so I talk to Trend they said because I have warranty to have them handle it... I did and they recommend a ship to take it to and for me to call and take it there and so I did. One of guys working at the shop told me to bring in my car at 9am to fix it and the very next day I took time off work and did that. Remember the time 9am... now they have my info to contact me when the car is done and they decided not to contact me all day and they close at 6pm. So I call them asking what's happening and they tell me they have the car sitting because they are waiting for the ok before they work on it... what the hell?? Since 9am and your waiting for the ok?? These guys were recommended from the warranty. You can guess from this ridiculously long review I'm pissed beyond measure so I talk to the warranty and they say and here's the funny part... THEY DIDN'T HEAR FROM THE SHOP!! so now they call the shop and contact me with this. Apparently they checked over the car and order the parts needed but it won't be done today. Now why not contact me, I need the car in order to get to work. Unbelievable horrible service... please if anyone is going to use trend and get a car from them PLEASE BE AWARE and check your vehicle because they will screw you over if you don't and leave you having to chase people in order to get your car fixed with the warranty you paid to handle problems like this. This should have been simple and now it's a mission and a half. Buyer beware can't be said enough!!!

Finally after having to deal with Trend and the warranty I can finally say the car has been running with no engine light on for a week straight.I would like to thank Tyler from Trend for at least doing something when it seemed like Trend wanted to do absolutely nothing to help. He handled the issue with the warranty. They agree on i could get fixed at any shop of my choosing and I choose my mechanic who I have to say this because this mechanic works for the people Terry at TACH automotive. He found so many issues not looked at by other mechanics at trend or the warranty shop like where exactly the leaks were coming from, I needed a new waterpump, all the belts had to be replaced from the oil leak damage... let's just say this bill came to over $1000.00 and the insurance only covered $250 worth of it. Now left with the bill is had no choice but to pay for it and this is where Tyler also comes in and makes sure to reimburse me for the remainder. I still stand on what I said before to be careful when purchasing a vehicle from this company but at least with individuals like Tyler working there you have some chance. Just be ready to take time off work and a lot running around.

I was with Trend Financial for over two years and have had nothing but great service with them. Thankfully using them to finance my car helped me rebuild my credit which is why I went with them. I think anyone making millions off of people who will not do their research are fantastic. you STILL see " buy a couch and pay nothing for the first 5 years' not realizing that you get billed 5 years interest. From the beginning I got charge $20,000 for 6 years so don't ever do this to yourself. Don't sign up for lease to own no matter what even if you're desperate.
